It's very evocative, powerful and draws you in, you want to know more. A good Intro. I like the way 'British' characters are used. Thanks for sharing it.

She is beautiful, young, talented and intelligent. (Don't you just hate her!)

Whilst you are busy why don't you hand over to Nadira as a guest blogger? It would be very interesting to hear what she has to say about living in this country say compared to Uzbekistan and whether she finds people friendly and helpful and any other comments on matters like motherhood and life with you.

Just came across this website. 'Give Your Vote' to either Adghanistan, Bangladesh or Ghana.

eg http://giveyourvote.org/why-ghana

Questions -
How can anyone in these countries participate in our elections?
Why these three countries alone?
Who is behind it? Impossible to tell from the website.
Anybody know anything?

"why don't you hand over to Nadira as a guest blogger?"

Excellent idea.

I can't really criticise her strategy because it has worked since 1981 when we met.

It goes something like this

You are My Boy and I am Your Girl

And I am Watching Your Eyes

So I Reckon I got away with it.

I don't and never have fancied her in the slightest and couldn't even remember her name.

It was her Mum we were all making a fuss about.

Whilst I have had my good times - when Everything Seems Absolutely Brilliant and I am Really Happy

I have also had it Really Tough when absolutely Everything Goes Wrong

And My Brother is in a Straight Jacket in a Mental Hospital And My Dad has just jumped out of the Boat Trying To Kill Himself on The River Thames

And I am 15 Years Old and all this Nonsense Is Due To Roman Catholic Indoctrination

How The Hell Am I Supposed To React?

Except Cuddle My Mum Who is In Tears.

It Can be Really Painful for the First Few Days

But if you persevere, it is no longer painful in the slightest

In fact it is really nice and convienient

You don't have to do any preparation

And you can carry on more or less like normal

Like you did last year

Except this Year

There is Someone Else Too

And He is Really Going For it...

And I suggest Chocolate Pudding As Well

And he looks at me with my chocolate pudding and he looks at His Mum

And so I can't tempt him away

I also was Breast Fed to the age of 15 months

And I Held My Mum's hand

John, it's obviously Craig's concern, but to me this might be interpreted as a diplomatically-advanced threat.

Read all about it - further insights into the disgusting antics of the NuLabour troughers.

Perhaps it is but I doubt that, in showbiz circles your name carries no connotations at all.

If she ever requires advice on such matters or assistance then feel free to email me at danielhgATgmailDOTcom and I'll do my best to lend a hand.

All the best.

@Suhayl, such is the problem with the 'net... online you don't know whether your talking to swampy or a spy!

Posted by: Jon at March 22, 2010 1:29 PM

I know, Jon, that's right. I assume, btw, that you are 'Jon' and not 'John Cord'. Just as 'Eddie' was not 'eddie' and 'larry' became much more interesting and cosmic for a short time when 'larry' was no longer 'larry'. Just as 'juniper' is 'apostate' and 'apostate' is 'tungsten' and 'steelback' claims that they are none of these and 'freeborn' claims that they are none of those.

Phew! Sometimes, one begins to wish that folk just used their own names. But then there would be two 'John Smiths'...

Yeah, Daniel, good suggestion. In the arts, as you know, it's who you know. It's a small and jealous (and I mean, jealous in its true sense, not its colloquial misuse as a substitute for 'envious') world, actually, and people often resent incomers (by which I mean those who didn't necessarily go through the conventional training channels or who came even form some other arts discipline). Assuming a certain level of talent and craft, who you know is actually almost all that counts. So, if one can get an inside track, as opposed to standing outside with a hatchet, go for it!

'John Cord', who are you? Reveal yourself, or stay forever silent. That's not a threat, it's an incantation.

Don't think that uzbek girls look like her, usually they are shamefull and don't wear such open belly dans clothes, it's not uzbek dance or uzbek culture, uzbeks are muslims with right faith, but unfortunately, thare are some women such her, shame!
