Just wondering. Why does your blog sometimes allow posting of comments immediately and at other times you get the message explaining that they appear after you have vetted them (if ‘vetted’ is the right word)?

Is it an option you turn on depending the your original post’s topic? Or is it just older threads that get this message?

curiously, it is a completely erroneous message. There is nowhere I have ever discovered within Movable Type that comments which get that message are stored – they just vanish for ever. And comment moderation is never on.

I think it is triggered when we are under very heavy spam attack.

Now if only Debbie Schussel could read and understand what is written, that would be good..
