Those Despicable Foreigners 188

I have travelled this world much more extensively than either Obama or Romney, and I still do. I find everywhere, even in areas of conflict and economic difficulty, the vast majority of people are friendly, even kind, and have very similar aspirations, across cultures, to personal development and emotional fulfilment.

The striking thing about tonight’s US Presidential “foreign policy” debate, is when it did occasionally discuss foreign policy, the world out there was discussed not as a place of vast potential, but as a deeply disturbing place full of foreigners who are, apparently, all evil except the Israelis, who are perfect.

The vast benefits from cooperation and trade with “abroad” were not mentioned once that I noticed (though I confess the thing was so awful my attention wandered occasionally). Europe apparently doesn’t exist, other than Greece which is nothing more than a terrible warning of the dangers of not being right wing enough.

The correct attitude to all these foreigners that God so unfortunately and inexplicably placed on this planet, is apparently to maintain incredibly large armed forces, murder people with drones (they were both very enthusiastic on this one), place sanctions on them and declare them “currency manipulators”. The only surprising note was that both agreed that they could not kill everyone in Iran.

But “We can’t just kill our way out of this mess” was spoken with regret, rather than as an affirmation of the possibilities of cooperation instead. What a grim and joyless world view. Maybe I had better not step out of this hotel into Africa this morning; those Islamists might get me.

Ben doesn’t butt into other peoples’ discussions (like I do) with unverifiable accusations. He’s a nice guy, even if he is head honcho at the CIA’s Office for Craig Murray Operations (and he is).

Target: rolling doughnut. Range: 200m. Jetpack on. Go.

Phil says, “The combination of propaganda and violence has been used, as it is today, for the last century or so”.

I think most people would accept that the state is more overtly violent towards dissent today than it was in the post war period, for example. These differences are important.

The point anyway is that we have our own version of the print revolution and they’ve had to up the violent coercion to make up for the lessening power of the propaganda.

Another point would be that as the state increases its violence against its own citizens in a complex society, then that is a path to failure. The only way in which it can succeed is in circumstances in which the complex society collapses, ushering in a kind of neo-feudalism.

The Jewish/Israeli people are as much victims of Zionism as anyone else. But don’t let apparently well meaning liberals hear you say that – they believe in all manner of free speech just as long as they agree with it of course. The Frankfurt school sure had some gullible students..

“The Jewish/Israeli people are as much victims of Zionism as anyone else.”

Which is why Torah believing Jews, as opposed to the Talmud adherents, were the first people to alert the world to the dangers of Zionism. Read what Einstein (he who fled the Nazis) had to say about the creation of Israel.

Interestingly, the largest group of Jews who are not 7th century East European converts live in Iran and President Ahmadinajad is one of them. The reason that Iran’s Jews have refused thousands of dollars and free houses to go and live in Israel is because they know that modern Israel is built on lies and deceit – the Torah clearly states that god removed Israel from the face of the Earth as a punishment and will not re-instate it until *after* the Messiah has appeared.

The number #1 best seller for months in Israel was a book that details the *creation* of modern Jews in the 7th Century, it was written by an Historian. It blows apart the narrative that the Jews are descendants of the Hebrews – which in turn nullifies all their claims to the land of Palestine.

And yet 95% of British Jews support Israel – the same Israel that kills unarmed aid workers in international waters, that promotes war at every opportunity, that breaks every international law and convention and then urges the international community to attack it’s regional competitor, at the risk of starting a global conflagration.
