Secondly, the Merco Press article you linked to is a hatchet job that would do the Guardian proud. It is fact-free with it’s allegations against Morales, using innuendo and spin. The bald fact is that Morales unilaterally initiated significant action on the forest fires (most of which weren’t Amazonian btw). Spin that however you want.
