If you thought RAF jets were owned by the RAF, think again.
The RAF squadron targeted for a repaint by Palestine Action due to its involvement in supplying Israel’s genocide, does not in fact belong to the RAF at all. It belongs ultimately to Polygon Global Partners LLP, a Hedge Fund.
Through a chain of seven cutout companies, which I will take you through, the direct ownership is with Airtanker Ltd, which gives its address as RAF Brize Norton. It owns, maintains and operates the RAF’s Voyager refuelling aircraft, which have been providing mid-air refuelling to the Israeli Defence Forces as well as carrying, in their cargo role, munitions to the IDF.
Note that Airtanker Ltd states that five of the Voyager aircraft while available to the RAF: “can also be made available to other parties. This can include providing military capability to other nations…”.
Whether the aircraft have been operated by the RAF on behalf of the Israelis, or whether they have been “provided to” the IDF direct, is an interesting question. Is this designed to build in plausible deniability for the UK government?
Eight of the Voyager Aircraft though fully painted in RAF livery, actually are the property of Airtanker Ltd.
It is not plain whether the other six – also the property of Airtanker Ltd but only occasionally used by the RAF – are also in RAF livery. The company does not show any photographs of jets not in RAF livery.
So who owns Airtanker Ltd? Well, the “person with significant control” on the Companies House register is Airtanker Holdings Ltd. They own over 75% but less than 100%. It would be interesting to know who owns the rest.
So who owns Airtanker Holdings Ltd? Well, it is owned – more than 25% and less than 50% – by Airbus, which provides the actual aircraft, and more than 25% and less than 50% by Equitix Capital Eurobond 6 Ltd, which presumably provides finance. As both own under 50% it would be interesting to know who owns the rest, and why.
So who owns Equitix Capital Eurobond 6 Ltd? Well, Equitix Capital Eurobond 6 Ltd is owned by Equitix Holdings Ltd, a company at the same address in the City of London.
So who owns Equitix Holdings Ltd? Well, Equitix Holdings Ltd is owned by Pace Bidco Ltd, a company curiously enough also at the same address.
So who owns Pace Bidco Ltd? Well, Pace Bidco Ltd is owned by Pace Topco Ltd, a company which turns out to be also at the same address!
So who owns Pace Topco Ltd? Well, here, we finally get the name of a human being. It is a Mr Reade Griffith whose address is given as Polygon Global Partners LLP, 4 Sloane St, London.
On another page of the register a Mr Reade Eugene Griffith is given as a Director of Pace Topco Ltd, presumably the same person. This would also appear to be the same individual as the E Griffith Reade who is listed as – amongst other interests – the 10% owner of Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc.
Polygon is a hedge fund. It would appear likely from the register to be either Polygon or Griffith’s umbrella hedge fund Tetragon that owns these liveried RAF aircraft. We have therefore simply no idea who the investors are: it could be anyone from BlackRock to Kim Jong Un. The true ownership is deliberately shrouded in secrecy.
This spaghetti tangle of ownership of RAF aircraft is rather surprising to those of us who naively believed that RAF military aircraft belonged to the RAF, and that the hundreds of billions of pounds the state lavishes on “defence” was used to do things like buy military jets, rather than make rich financiers still richer.
The long tree of subsidiary companies is not only to disguise ownership. At every single stage it provides opportunity for tax avoidance and for other forms of corruption, like consultancy contracts or directorships handed out to the contacts or nominated go-betweens of the politicians and senior civil servants. If you saw a company called Pace Bidco Ltd were giving a remunerative consultancy to the son of an ex-government minister, or to a firm registered to his local landlord, why would that ring alarm bells or connect to the RAF?
To be plain those are entirely hypothetical examples. I am not accusing Pace Bidco Ltd of anything. I merely explain the system.
Defence spending is more prone to corruption than any other form of spending and that is why venal politicians are always extremely keen to boost it. No UK politician has ever proposed to increase defence spending by more than Keir Starmer, who wants to lift it by £120 billion a year.
The RAF’s Voyager aircraft are effectively being provided under the Private Finance Initiative. Exactly how much money the hedge fund managers and this string of companies are taking out of the defence budget is hard to know.
One particularly surprising fact is that it is plain that the private companies are also providing the RAF ground crew. Who employs the flight crews is not entirely clear.
That such an obviously rotten and corrupt arrangement exists in the RAF I had no idea. Some British military personnel are in fact contracted mercenaries. It gives new context to the active RAF involvement in the Genocide in Gaza.
Palestine Action’s excellent act of resistance in vandalising this Hedge Fund Air Force has brought all of this to our attention. Which is yet a further reason to be grateful to Palestine Action.

I hope this material strengthens the argument against proscription in Parliament, and strengthens the case for the defense, and the prospect of juries acquitting defendants, if the vandalisers of planes owned by capitalists and used for genocidal purposes end up in court.
Quite agree, I bet a judge would try to rule it inadmissible….
No need. They’d just sit back and watch it be torn apart. When the lie about RAF tankers refuelling Israeli aircraft was revealed, that would totally wreck Murray’s credibility.
If you’re prosecuted for allegedly damaging a person’s property, you should be able to insist that the person (or representative of the corporate person) gives evidence so that you can cross-examine them.
A lot of the time the fog is caused not only by chains of legal ownership but also by trusts (“beneficial ownership”), English law’s great gift to moneygrabbing ruling scum all around the world but unlikely to be talked about much in public by Britain’s Soft Power Council.
While I am here: the history of beneficial ownership, or “equity” or “trusts” to use synonymous terms, is very interesting for those who are interested in the relationship between private interests of members of the ruling class and the public face of the ruling class, also known as “the state”.
For those of us who own close to f*** all, this kind of thing is irrelevant in our personal lives, but for the filthiest of the rich it’s of key importance. In the past going back to when most property took the form of land, it was important in how the republican reforms in England in the 17th century were caused to fail, and more recently reforms of inheritance law have been turned into a case of “hahaha”. Because one thing is for certain: members of the ruling class always look after themselves no matter what.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if some of the government money for the use of the land at RAF bases is being paid to noble families who owned the land openly until the 1940s – or to their creditors.
jaw dropping……absolutely jaw dropping.
Thank you Craig. The facts are indisputable
Haha, are they now? OK then. Explain to me how RAF tankers refuel Israeli jets.
They fly to a rendezvous point.
Drop a fuel hose to a flying genocide platform.
Pump in a few gallons of four star.
Swipe the shekels from their credit card.
Then return home.
HTH 🙂
“Explain to me how RAF tankers refuel Israeli jets.”
I expect they fill up with fuel in a country outside the war zone, let’s say Cyprus, fly to Israel, land, fill holding tanks at an Israeli air base then the jets are refuelled from these in the normal way.
I caught a RAF Air Tanker from Brize Norton going nowhere on flight radar, reason being it was spewing a large trail. I would wager this group is also behind geoengineering activities. Interestingly , I looked up the aircraft registration and 2 months later it belongs to Jet2, an Airbus air tanker running flights to Tenerife!
Royal Hedge Fund Air Force, please.
I wonder what other military assets are owned by foreign hedge funds? Those Challenger tanks that performed so well in Ukraine? Does the Royal Navy still own all its ships? any of its ships?

But is there anything good about it?
It’s an echo chamber, and its user base is already falling.
Great work.
Reade Griffith describes his nationality as “British” at Companies House, but he is described as “American” in the Daily Telegraph
He also held the rank of captain in the US Marine Corps, for which US citizenship is required.
He is described here as holding both British and Kittitian citzenships.
Definition of fascism from its pioneer, Benito Mussolini, who knew what he was talking about: fascism is when you can’t slip a cigarette paper between the interests of the government and the interests of corporate business.
Reade Griffith seems to have palmed money to Tom Tugendhat when he ran for the Tory leadership (report in the National):
https://archive.is/Rgb6f
“Tugendhat received £20,000 from Blue WV (…) Blue WV’s early financial backers include hedge fund bosses Reade Griffith and Ian Mukherjee.”
Both Griffith and Mukherjee were at Goldman Sachs.
I quite like Tom Tugendhat. And his mother. Jewish enough but too principled for the overlords. Military background but still quite young.
What principles, specifically?
I knew the perpetual victims would be in there somewhere.
Well, fan my britches! Goldman Sachs…they make the Mafia look respectable.
Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.
What parallels to the 1940 Battle of Britain did you have in mind?
Must I spell it out? If so, then I’m obviously not very good at satire!
(Should I also have spelled out the satirical intent of my comment about the European Song Contest 3 days ago? Your reply to that one also puzzled me: https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2025/06/you-cannot-negotiate-with-the-zionist-west/comment-page-1/#comment-1081937)
Very well, then:
Contrast Churchill’s famous line above (optionally alongside Shakespeare’s “We few, we happy few, we band of brothers”, as used in Olivier’s 1944 film Henry V, which was intended to bolster national morale) with the more recent and almost antithetical meaning of the same phrase, “the few” – but although it’s recent, some have traced it back to Shelley’s The Masque of Anarchy in 1819 – as used in the Labour Party’s 2017 General Election manifesto, For the Many, Not the Few, in which the phrase now refers to those who are also often known as “the 1%” (or “the 0.1%”, or …), who are also those who benefit from PFI, and to whom the public purse, belonging to “the many”, now “owes so much” – in what I thought was an obvious ironic twist on Churchill’s words.
I’m no fan of Churchill, but I imagine the old guy must be spinning in his grave.
Is that pedantic enough for you? I promise I’ll never try to be funny again! I’ll get me coat.
Well well, what an incredible insight into the weird, unaccountable nexus of hedge funds, transnational politics and war. Thanks to Craig it is. being exposed how ‘our’ air force is part of a global supply chain for war in the Middle East, owned and operated by people whose affiliations and interests we do not know. Although we can guess, given the involvement of the RAF and their Cyprus base in the extinction of Palestinians, the starvation and bombing of children and the complete indifference of the UK government.
The huge questions it begs go beyond old political questions to much larger ones, viz who is actually running policy decisions on our apparent acquiescence and complicity in Israeli war crimes. And what role Starmer plays in all this, facilitating the covert network of military support for israel, none of which is debated in Parliament or accountable to the British people.
On an associated note, in terms of the consequences of this secret ‘partnership’, a study published via the Harvard Dataverse reveals that Israel has “disappeared” at least 377,000 Palestinians since the start of its genocidal campaign against the Gaza Strip in 2023. Half of them are children.
“The report was written by Israeli professor Yaakov Garb, who used data-driven analysis and spatial mapping to show how the Israeli army’s siege of Gaza and indiscriminate attacks on civilians in the enclave have led to a serious drop in its population.
The 377,000 Palestinians who are unaccounted for due to Israel’s genocide are approximately 17 percent of the Gaza Strip’s entire population, which now stands at about 1.85 million. Prior to the war in Gaza, the strip’s population was estimated at 2.227 million.
While some are displaced or missing, a significant number are believed to have been killed by Israeli forces, according to the report.
The professor notes that the official death toll of 61,000 is clearly an underestimate, as victims who remain trapped under rubble are not included.”
https://thecradle.co/articles-id/31546
So shocking, but entirely in line with the wealth of evidence shared daily on social media.
if this isn’t a genocide, then such words don’t mean anything any more, in this Israeli hellscape of savagery. They are psychotic.
“And what role Starmer plays in all this,”
Being a front man for powerful interests and carrying out their instructions, by the looks of things.
Thanks Bayard. Starmer summed up in a single, simple sentence.
Good (in a way) to see a revised estimate of the body count. It was already clear from the Lancet study’s “conservative” estimate for June 2024 of 180,000 that the “official” numbers are absurdly short – not surprising since they are collected by a largely destroyed infrastructure, and since so many will be buried under rubble or otherwise rendered uncountable. Clearly the full picture is even worse given that the population is on the brink of death by starvation.
Can’t be genocide, six million don’t you know, it’s just self defence.
Fascinating. Given that tax payer money is funding Polygon Global Partners LLP for the 8 refuelling aircraft with RAF livery, I would assume that the services these aircraft supply were put out to tender for private contractors to compete and that there was some transparency about this ? I wonder when Polygon were first awarded the contract and how long there is left to go? Alternatively is this an ad hoc lease hire agreement and if so who flies the refuelling aircraft and are they private contractors ?
This information clearly impacts on UK national security a topic dear to the heart of the mainstream media and our political class; let’s see if any of them address it.
Good work, Mr Murray.
“who flies the refuelling aircraft”
RAF aircrew from 10 Sqn and 101 Sqn.
“are they private contractors”
No. See above.
“This information clearly impacts on UK national security”
No, it doesn’t.
https://ukdefencejournal.org.uk/mod-awards-170m-voyager-system-upgrade-to-airtanker/
how strange this news slips out today ….
Sorry, what do you think is significant about this?
Craig, I am surprised you are surprised. The phenomenon is rife, tank transport is provided by Fast Trax owned by KBR. They even have/had their own TA Squadron – a private army?
No, they don’t “have their own TA squadron”. They lease vehicles to a TA squadron, that’s all. There’s nothing remarkable about this. Every unit in the British military has equipment – usually so-called “white fleet” vehicles – leased from civilian companies. For non-combat equipment it makes much more sense than buying it.
Fergus Mason
An honest question.
You know if you lease a car for three years and you fail to pay the finance on it?
Do these companies roll up with a Tow Truck and take the tanks ( or whatever?)
off the Battlefield and put them for sale on a tank Forecourt for sale the public?
Very bad optics on The World Stage for the UK there.
Used to work with a lot of ex soldiers years ago:
They had a phrase for the TA;
‘ Total Arses ‘
We do live in ‘ Interesting ‘ times.
More like ‘ Interest Times ‘
Corporate Welfare on show again.
No stopped PIP payments for them.
“For non-combat equipment it makes much more sense than buying it.”
How? and, if so, do not the same arguments apply to combat equipment?
There is unfortunately one small problem with your thesis: there are two distinct and incompatible methods of air-to-air refuelling: the drogue system, and the fixed boom system. These two systems are not interchangeable.
The “RAF” Voyager tankers are only capable of refuelling via the drogue system.
The IDF planes (F16, F15, F35-A) are only capable of being refuelled through the fixed boom system.
It is therefore simply not credible that RAF Voyagers were refuelling IDF planes.
On the other hand the NATO MRTT fleet of tankers (based in The Netherlands and German) are capable of both drogue and fixed boom refuelling, and some of these planes have been active in the Middle East recently, presumably refuelling Israeli and/or US planes.
That’s a very good point. Israel operates it’s own fleet of re-fuelling aircraft, converted B707s; fitted with booms.
https://theaviationist.com/2024/08/18/israeli-air-force-in-flight-refueling-show-of-force-to-iran/
There is some discussion about the decision to buy 12 F35As for the RAF as the Voyagers will be incapable of refuelling them. They’ll be dependent on third party tanker aircraft unless the Voyagers are fitted with booms or the F35As converted to the drogue system like the F35B. Neither option is liable to be cheap.
A boom kit is available for the Voyager. Several operators already have it, for example the RAAF. It’s not a plug and play job, but not a major one either.
“There is unfortunately one small problem with your thesis: there are two distinct and incompatible methods of air-to-air refuelling: the drogue system, and the fixed boom system.”
Who says the RAF tankers are refuelling the Israeli jets in the air?
Plus ça change. Old Charles Dickens created characters like this in 1865. From “Our Mutual Friend”:
“As is well known to the wise in their generation, traffic in Shares is the one thing to have to do with in this world. Have no antecedents, no established character, no cultivation, no ideas, no manners; have Shares. Have Shares enough to be on Boards of Direction in capital letters, oscillate on mysterious business between London and Paris, and be great. Where does he come from? Shares. Where is he going to? Shares. What are his tastes? Shares. Has he any principles? Shares. What squeezes him into Parliament? Shares. Perhaps he never of himself achieved success in anything, never originated anything, never produced anything? Sufficient answer to all; Shares. O mighty Shares! To set those blaring images so high, and to cause us smaller vermin, as under the influence of henbane or opium, to cry out, night and day, ‘Relieve us of our money, scatter it for us, buy us and sell us, ruin us, only we beseech ye take rank among the powers of the earth, and fatten on us’!”
Excellent.
We are almost fully back to Dickens.
Thank you for the quote.

How spiffing that a man who seems to hold US, British, and Kittitian citizenships was involved with the Financial Sector Forum, the main declared purpose of which was to fight money laundering by organised crime so that the British regime could “(retain) its pre-eminent position in financial services worldwide”:

St Kitts and Nevis is an independent Caribbean country with a population of about 35000, an official murder rate that’s four times higher than in the USA (and 20 times higher than in Britain)…and did I mention it’s home to the headquarters of the squeaky clean East Caribbean Central Bank?
But Russia, oh Russia, Russia is such a “mafia state”.
This privately-owned ‘Royal’ air force is able to provide a niche auxiliary role in slaughtering hundreds of thousands of women and children trapped in a concentration camp.
But what else does the British Army consist of in the mid-2020s?
A House of Lords defence committee report last September depicted a military on the verge of extinction. It was of course completely suppressed by establishment media.
The redoubtable Kit Klarenberg provided a good analysis.
https://www.kitklarenberg.com/p/its-official-british-army-facing
Well done Craig.
This opens up more cans of worms than there are worms in my garden.
Who knows who the minority investors to this hedge fund might be? They could be Chinese, Russian, North Korean; or all three – which would create some conflicts of interest if Starmer’s hypothetical war with one or any of those countries breaks out, (a war which he used to justify spending ££billions on purchasing nuclear-weapon-capable aircraft from the USA).
It sounds like the biggest transfer of money from the taxpayer to the ultra wealthy which has yet been devised. No wonder they want to keep it secret.
Thank you for your work in investigating this surprising and corrupt arrangement.
These are just leasing arrangements as an alternative to purchase & direct ownership, not unlike many businesses’ have for capital equipment (& even eg in the retail motor trade)
Usually chosen as a form of credit to spread the cost to the end user over the service life of the equipment.
However, our currency issuing Govs have zero need to spread costs over some period of time, by definition, they never need ‘credit’.
As Craig indicates, the only reason to use this form of ownership & lease is to obscure the profits made by the various intermediary companies & persons, none of whose services Gov actually needs.
Of course, this kind of financial opacity & ‘outsourcing’ profit gouging (Blair greatly expanded on Thatcher’s policies) is just privatisation by other means.
It’s another major reason why the media-political complex don’t want citizens to know that our Govs issue new fiat currency, as they spend, quite independent of tax receipts or fake ‘borrowing’ operations (actually risk-free lucrative savings accounts for banks & the rich).
The corruption of the economics ‘profession’ was made complete many decades ago & applies to Labour & other supposed ‘left’ advisers just as much as it does to those of the Tories etc., sadly.
Can you explain how RAF tankers refuel Israeli aircraft?
At the risk of feeding a troll, you have pointed out there is a “boom kit”. Anyway this is fixating on one detail, it doesn’t matter if they have not done the refuelling bit, they are involved in a genocide,
There is a boom kit. None of the RAF Voyagers has been fitted with it and seven of them can’t be, because they’re currently fitted with a hose refuelling system in the centreline station. I can give you the aircraft serial numbers if you want to track down photos and verify the absence of booms.
So, given that they’re not refuelling Israeli aircraft, how are they “involved in a genocide”?
I knew I shouldn’t have … but OK… The RAF have reportedly been flying reconnaissance flights over Gaza throughout the genocide. I’ve no idea how voyagers have been used and frankly I don’t care about the minutiae but as Craig lists they have many potential supply uses not just refuelling. What makes you sure they have not been used for any of these? Why else did Kid Starver go over and congratulate personnel at Akrotiri for their deployment if they are not involved in Shitrael’s genocide?
There’s a single R1 Shadow looking for hostages. It’s a UKSF asset, which should tell you who it will phone if it finds any hostages. It is not supplying intelligence to Israel. Israel is right next door to Gaza and operates its own huge fleet of reconnaissance drones; it does not need any help from a single converted Beechcraft King Air.
Voyagers have been operating the usual passenger shuttles to Akrotiri; we do have several thousand military personnel, civilian staff and families in the Cyprus SBAs. The RAF does not supply munitions to Israel; it’s a CONSUMER of munitions, not a SUPPLIER (frankly, I’d have thought this was obvious). RAF Voyagers are not configured for cargo; they’re set up as economy-class airliners.
Politicians regularly visit military bases and congratulate people. Why you’d think that must mean the RAF are taking part in genocide escapes me.
Even if the approved cover story for this one particular aspect of British involvement was true (‘merely looking for hostages’), the surveillance flights alone still make the UK government party to the Gaza Genocide under international law.
But it’s not just the intelligence sharing, is it? It’s the constant ferrying of bombs on transporter planes from Akrotiri, the f-35 components, the meetings in the UK with the Israeli general overseeing the Genocide, the training in Britain of IDF war criminals, Starmer insisting all Israel’s degenerate crimes are self defence and there is no collective punishment, while being seen on TV saying Israel ‘does have that right’ to deny water and power to Gaza…and much more.
The case against Starmer, Lammy, Healey and co for abetting Genocide and crimes against humanity has been meticulously built by legal experts in the field.
Too late to try and polish this genocidal British turd.
@zoot:
“the surveillance flights alone still make the UK government party to the Gaza Genocide under international law.”
No, this is completely untrue. There is NOTHING in international law that says flying near something makes you a party to it.
“the constant ferrying of bombs on transporter planes from Akrotiri”
That isn’t happening. The RAF is not a bomb shop. It does not supply bombs to people.
“the f-35 components”
The RAF is not a supplier of F-35 components, to Israel or anyone else. The only supplier of F-35 components to Israel is Lockheed Martin. You all keep banging on about F-35 components, but that’s because none of you bothered to find out how the F-35 logistics system works.
Fergus, if you ever went up to any of these bought-off genocidaires and tried to congratulate them, they would recoil and treat you as if you were lower than a cockroach. I guarantee that would be your reward.
“No, this is completely untrue. There is NOTHING in international law that says flying near something makes you a party to it.”
True, but flying over it, collecting information and passing that information to another party currently involved in an activity contrary to international law does, even if it’s “looking for hostages”.
It’s pretty well known. The Iranians managed to do a lot of damage to the Haifa refinery, and terminate the supply of jet fuel for some time, said at the time to be a month. The tankers (UK/US and German), were bringing into the Israeli bases the jet fuel necessary to keep the Israeli planes flying. All this was kept very secret by the Israelis, but video cameras can see.
Haha, that’s hilarious.
FM
You obviously don’t keep up with the war news, even if you know the technology.
You are being disingenuous. Why did Starmer go there, at that time? It’s obvious to anyone who is not ideologically vested in believing otherwise, it has to do with Shitrael’s operations. Whether Shitrael needs it or not, Starmer feels he has to show support for the superpower and its proxy in the middle east, hence the UK’s involvement.
That’s for military apologists like you to explain how it is not so!
There is nothing too corrupt, unconscionable and disgusting that Money Power-owned governments will not do on behalf of their paymasters and sponsors.
Is there anything the British, government won’t give a contract to the private sector for – somehow I doubt it – I wonder how many MPs and middle men had their palms greased on this one – I think its becoming increasing clear that the British government is captured by the private sector – with AI and think tanks making policies – whilst bungs are given to MPs to dish out contracts to their corporate buddies using public cash.
What’s next? the police ambulance and fire services – incidentally the Scottish colonial admin (SNP) have closed over 100 police buildings – and the SFRS (Scottish Fire and Rescue Services) is closing umpteen fire stations as well – private sector here we come – we just need your credit card details then we’ll put the fire out.
ACPO (association of chief police officers) is a private company I remember reading a few years ago, so we are already there with the fuzz. Not to mention that the metropolitan police are run by the CIty of London corporation, which of course is the controlling body of a tax haven known as the city, so it’s a private police force.
Welcome to the privatised Police Force Ltd, as prophesied by Fry and Laurie:

“Have you had a look at our latest brochure? We offer basically three kinds of car recovery service: the Super, the Lovely, and the Gorgeous. The Super is the basic non-priority listing of your car; the Lovely is higher priority; and the Gorgeous is A1 top priority – we put all our team onto it, and that also includes a full waxing and valeting of your car on recovery. Obviously the Gorgeous is a more expensive service … Do you have an account with us? Or are you a shareholder, perhaps?”

Well there you have it – and not only that your local bobby when dolled up in his combats to kettle unarmed protestors looks like something out of a special forces unit – add in that the Met has purchased I think 18 Sandcat armoured vehicles from a Zionist company – and London is all but one step away from American style policing – beat and shoot first, ask questions later.
That got me thinking there’s at present only one private prison in Scotland (Addiewell) – and its a disaster, ran for profit – it full of drugs and violence, is widespread – I wonder if England has many private jails? and are widespread private prisons just around the corner? if so – bought and paid for judges – will need to hand out heavy and multiple sentences to keep them full.
The obvious example is the NHS. From doctors, Surgeons, consultants, nurses, service providers all private sector.
Also, the housing market, build to rent, is heavily infiltrated by hedge funds – it’s not a home it’s an investment.
Thanks to the uncoverers
It’s mind blowing and disgusting and vital to get aired
Love the way people are just waking up to this. Us much maligned Private Eye readers have known about it since Gordon Brown awarded the contract to Air Tankers back in 2008.
At one point the RAF wanted the aircraft fitted with chaff and flare dispensers to confuse incoming missiles. Air Tankers objected because they thought that would restrict commercial opportunities.
Pears Morgaine
I wouldn’t doubt that at all.
PFI ( Off Balance Sheet activities – an economic ruse) is as old as the hills.
As is : ‘ Arms length Companies ‘ running State Services.
Meaning if people die or suffer from the results of the Arm’s length companies not fulfilling
their contracts it’s not the fault of the people who chose them for the job.
Meaning again – the politicians who hired them are in the clear.
No idea whether the RAF are involved in the Gazan Genocide – in fact it matters very little.
What I do know is that The British Military Base at Akrotiri being used by all and sundry for something
and it’s not for supplying food to the Gazans for sure.
Anyway when the Court Cases start it will all come out in the wash.
I may not be there to see it but it will happen.
p.s. Don’t book a holiday in Cyprus as the israeli’s have bad form on ceasefires.
The MSM think this the end.
They are seriously mistaken – this is just the beginning.
I do note carefully that starving Gazan and Ukraine has fell way down the list on the News.
Perhaps they can’t chew gum and walk at the same time?
Questions:
(a) Is it a crime to create cutout or front companies in support of a crime?
(b) In sentencing people, do judges regard the creation of cutout or front companies as aggravating factors?
This article is great… Going to use this as an example of opaque corporate ownership structures in undergrad teaching. I keep hoping some of them will wake up from their Tiktok and Instagram influencer haze…
The particular aircraft vandalised at RAF Brize Norton by members of Palestine Action are not capable of providing mid-air refuelling of Israeli aircraft because they use incompatible systems. The vandalism was misdirected.
It’s largely symbolic action in any case mostly involving red paint. The RAF is involved no doubt in assisting “the entity”‘s genocide,
No, it was not “largely symbolic”. Both aircraft are out of service because gallons of the red paint, and a crowbar, went into the engines. One engine is a complete write-off; the other three need a factory rebuild. The cost of repairs will run into tens of millions, plus the cost of leasing replacement aircraft until those two are back in service.
Cry us a fucking river, Fergus.
good, whatever the next incarnation of Palestine Action you have just made it sound a lot more attractive. Now perhaps you can crawl back under your anti-migrant, far-right rock?
Apparently it was the bag of babies heads and the bottles of blood that destroyed the engines, along with the unpalatable truth !

At what point does the cost to the UK government in pounds for repairing planes equal the cost to the Palestinains in terms of lives lost?
The UK currently uses a method called the “value of a prevented fatality” (VPF) to calculate a single figure for the value of a life for all ages. This is, apparently, £1.83M. Now, presumably Palestinian lives are worth a lot less to the UK than the lives of UK citizens, so shall we say one tenth, £183,000. Now to make things easy shall we estimate the cost of repair to the planes to be £18.3M, in which case 100 dead Palestians would have an equal cost. There are of course hundreds of thousands of dead Palestinians. The figure of 180,000 has been quoted as a conservative estimate, so if the RAF is responsible for enabling 0.05% or more of Palestinian deaths, the government has no cause to complain, as it’s in credit.
As an encouragement to continue opposing the genocide in Gaza, here’s an excellent historical documentary of life in Gaza before the Israeli destruction:

I wonder what the legal situation under international law is with respect to military vehicles of one country or other party to a war being in the livery of another country. I wouldn’t be surprise if some prohibitions against false flag operations apply even if this is done with the consent of both parties.
What are you talking about? You don’t believe that nonsense about RAF tankers refuelling Israeli aircraft, do you?
Fergus mason
No.
But I do know that The British leased/owned? Akrotiri Airbase is being used to ship weapons
from a few countries to pound Gaza etc etc.
You say one that isn’t is the UK.
I believe that as much as I believe Donald trump and Boris Johnson combined mean us all well.
The other one is in Diego Garcia that the UK allows the US to use as and when.
When was the other day.
I won’t be surprised if it isn’t attacked either by Iran as it’s not a US Airbase – is it?
“I do know that The British leased/owned? Akrotiri Airbase is being used to ship weapons
from a few countries to pound Gaza etc etc.”
No, you don’t know that at all.
“sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast”
Craig, you are a national treasure.
That is all.
