In the last three days I have been in London at the judicial review of Palestine Action and today I am in Jersey for the terrorist trial of Natalie Strecker. I made a brief impromptu speech outside the High Court, in intervening to try and stop some people in wheelchairs from being arrested as “terrorists”, and I am as proud of that couple of minutes speech as I am of any work I have done. This afternoon I am flying from Jersey for the Your Party founding conference in Liverpool.

I’ve taken 3,000 IU per day of vitamin D3 for the past ten years. It works, in the sense that I now get no respiratory infections. I used to get one or more bad colds every winter. Dr David Grimes (retired NHS consultant) knows far more than I do.
Yes, I’ve noticed the same thing. I started taking a larger dose of D during covid as the way it seemed to affect black people worse raised suspicions. Digging a bit found that the UK RDA is only a quarter or a fifth of the American one (can’t remember exactly). I’m now a little bit over the latter and haven’t had a streaming type cold since. Touch wood.
I decided to up my intake of vitamin D from 400 to 2400 IU a day in response to positive results from trials of calcifediol (the active form of vitamin D) for Covid treatment in Spain in autumn 2000* and, apart from finally getting Covid in March 2023, haven’t had a noticeable respiratory infection since. Vitamin D also has plenty of other positive health effects, such as lowering blood pressure. Not surprisingly, Big Pharma doesn’t want people to know about this.
* If the Tory government had paid attention to those, rather than lying to parliament about having carried out its own trials, it could probably have saved/extended 100,000+ lives, prevented further lockdowns, and saved over £150 billion.

An easy but not very well known check that one might be deficient in D, as many are, is whether one or both nostrils are stopped up, if it is easy to breathe through the nose. If one can’t, but can breathe easily after sunlight exposure or ingesting D, it is quite likely increasing D intake or formation is good for your health, for your immune system and other reasons.
I’m not a medic, but if you go out speaking in public when you’ve got a cough, particularly when it’s cold, I would carry a packet of Ricola lemon & mint cough sweets in your pocket. I’ve had friends recommend Covonia and Jakeman as well in the past for coughs, but give me Ricola. Get well soon. 😊

You could include the recruitment of “physician associates” with 2 years training instead of 5 (which medical doctors have to have, or 4 if they’re postgraduate entrants) to save money. The use of nurse practitioners and pharmacies to prescribe (in a limited way) has the same end.

There is another issue though, many senior NHS staff, doctors, Surgeons, etc., work two or three days per week in private medical facilities. This means critical NHS staff are only available 40%-60% of the time. That is part of the reason why we have over seven million (7,000,000) people on waiting lists for treatment, that’s 10% of the UK population. The NHS is a religion for many and like all religions it’s not based on reality.
That’s why I believe all private medical care should be outlawed.
I don’t have a problem with people paying for private care, but not at public expense. Thus if doctors work half-time for the NHS (because they’re working half-time privately) they should only get half the salary of a NHS doctor working full time. The government should recruit and train more doctors to shorten waiting lists.
I do, because it never works does it ? Private systems always end up destroying free systems because they are the competion. We now have the NHS using private, profit based, medical facilities and staff. How does that work ? We have senior NHS executives getting private medical cover as part of their benefits, how does that work ? We have NHS consultants recommending their private businesses and then using NHS facilities to provide the private services, how does that work ?
If you want to improve the NHS then make it the only game in town, one system for everyone, then the better off will ensure that money is available to deliver the care they expect.
The same applies to education, one system for all, no two tier societies.

If the NHS was properly managed and funded, there would be no need for private healthcare. Who would go private when you could get just as good a service for free? Allow me to ask/point out the following:
1. Do you know the definition of “heresy”? It means, in religion, denying or going against the orthodoxy of your own religion. It may be that a non-Muslim might be “tried” by Muslim courts and pronounced guilty for many things, for example insulting the Prophet, but the charge would not be that of heresy. Heresy is something “internal” to a religion (and, by extension, to philosphical, scientific, etc, beliefs).
2. I have seen videos (on YouTube) of Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem spitting on the ground in front of Christians (not, as you phrase it, spitting “at”). Very primitive and highly disagreeable, but how is this relevant to the question of whether Jesus was a Jew? I should add that all religions have had (and some still have) a go at other religions and indeed their co-religionists…..
3. There is no point in talking about DNA and this “true ancestor” business – it is a sterile discussion, not relevant and reminds me of those arguments about whether the modern Greeks descend from the Ancient Greeks or whether they are in fact mainly the descendants of Slavic peoples who moved south. Just to keep it simple, I should say that there are Palestinian Jews and other Palestinians who became Muslim and there are also Palestinian Christians. All of those people have lived in the land called Palestine for centuries/millenia. There are also many Jews who are not Palestinian, some of whom have moved to Israel and most of whom haven’t and there are far more Muslims living outside Palestine than in it.
4. Your reference to “all the Eastern European filth”: are you referring to the Jews who went to Palestine before 1948/9 (a category which included many of the early Israeli leaders) or to the more recent Jews from Eastern Europe (mainly from the ex-USSR, I believe) or to both?
I would also suggest that your choice of words is not the most fortunate – intemperate (and racist) language plays right into the hands of the Zionists and their friends. I take it that’s not your intention?

Thank you for the location correction – as for the Met Police following orders – like I said there will be some coppers who don’t like carting pensioners off for holding a cardboard sign – but others will relish the authority they wield, most of both groups, will have families to keep and bills to pay – so they choose to stay quiet on the matter – but, again as you say some will be itching to commit assaults and shout down ordinary citizens – not all coppers are bad, or good for that matter.
