You could not decry the Labour Party more determinedly than myself. The answer as to why I still pay my subs is always “which party should I join” They’re still the best of a bad bunch, how much longer I can continue with that excuse is always up for debate.
I think that the truth is we are entering an epoch with the world being turned upside down once again. Am I up for that, hell yes.As this is your special club, do I need to apply for membership, or do you have an open door policy.
I have come across some moderators decisions in my time, but this takes the biscuit. It’s a bit like the stories we’ve heard of a mad aunty in an aristocratic family, banished from sight in the bowels of the west wing of some country house.Stand strong old friend…_

Digger you would be most welcome.
Although I have not been for three years, I have been a caver for fifty years.
Part of that is cave digging, I was very much in to that side of things, very hard and filthy work for no pay.
Fantastic for team work, great for banter and making friends.
Sometimes we even made fresh cave.
As an aside, the Carbon dioxide is very much elevated in caves but especially so, digging.Fat Jon
As this is a thread for idiopolitical musings, I will vary the subject even more; and add my queries on the Liverpool FC victory parade incidents.
The police stated that the Ford Galaxy (the vehicle seen in video footage driving randomly at the crowds in the street) entered the cordoned off area behind an ambulance which had been allowed through the barriers by police because it was going to attend to a member of the public who was having a suspected heart attack.
If that is true, and the police opened the barriers for an emergency vehicle, why did they allow the Galaxy through as well? Did they know the driver? Did he give some special sign?
If I were an extreme conspiracy theorist, I might suggest that this was the Establishment/Security Services payback to Liverpool supporters for all the humiliation and embarrassment caused by the most recent inquiries into Hillsborough. A “lets ruin their special day” event.

police have been granted extra time to hold and question the suspect, they want to find his motive.

Snipers on the roof
Fat Jon
Thanks Michael. That is most intriguing. Snipers on rooftops for a football club open top bus parade?
I wonder if the same happened for the Newcastle, Crystal Palace and Spurs equivalents?

Going Green is alright if you are well off, not so good if you are a lowly paid worker.Fat Jon
I see the culprit in the Liverpool parade car horror is described as an ‘ex-serviceman’.
And the attempted murder, and driving under the influence of drugs, charges seem to have been dropped.
I wonder if this would have happened if the car driver had been from Pakistan/Iran and was shouting anti-Zionist insults from his car?

“former Royal Marine”,
says BBC.michael norton
I thought that vehicle, was a family vehicle.
They say he has three children, yet he ran over nearly 80 people, including children.
Very hard to believe. -
