I would be interested to understand their thinking.
On one hand they want airport expansion, with massive new concrete runways and a greater throughput of air traffic, with no tax on aviation fuel. An increase in one and a half million new homes in less than five years.
Then on the other hand they want us to think that Carbon dioxide is the biggest evil under the sun.
The British Electricity Grid must be 95% Carbon free in less than five years.
Are these two views compatible?Fat Jon
Anti CO2 government; and yet in addition to the genocidal killings, Israel has released more CO2 into the air (by bombing the shit out of Gaza) during the last 18months, than virtually every country in the world apart from the USA and China.

“Studies suggest that producing one ton of cement can release 550-1000 kg of CO2 equivalent”
It has been suggested that cement making and concrete making are the fourth largest causes of Carbon dioxide outpourings to the air.Fat Jon
Wikipedia says 900kg of CO2 for every ton of cement.
So given that the 3 Gorges Dam contains around 65 million tons of concrete, I think we are already doomed.

I am beginning to think we are being duped by our leaders.
If our new Labour Government were so convinced that Global Warming was an existential threat to all life on Earth, one must ask why are they intending to big up the Royal navy and take on Russia in a World War?michael norton

The Duran, think Sir Keir Starmer will be gone by Christmas.Clark
– “I am beginning to think we are being duped by our leaders.”
Beginning?! What took you so long?
– “I would be interested to understand their thinking.”
It’s pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Governments of all colours pander to billionaires and big businesses, but precisely which big money they pander to the most varies by party. Broadcast mass ‘news’ media is the same.
Clark
Generally, Labour pander to newer money while Conservative pander to older money. Both pander to the war industry. Give it a try:
– “…they want airport expansion, with massive new concrete runways and a greater throughput of air traffic, with no tax on aviation fuel.”
Increased air traffic boosts “economic growth” (i.e. private sector profits) because all the business big-wigs have to manically jet around the world in Business Class to hold meetings. Oh; and aviation is very close to, even part of, the war industries.
– “An increase in one and a half million new homes in less than five years.”
This is a boon to the building sector* and a favour to landlordism. One in twenty in Britain is now a landlord. There are plenty of potential homes in Britain, especially above town centre shops, but it would take changes in law and taxation to stop them standing empty. *Note, a boon to the building sector which is dominated by massive conglomerates that build entire estates, not to Bob your self-employed Builder for whom a new garage or garden wall is a big contract.
– “The British Electricity Grid must be 95% Carbon free in less than five years.”
Here’s Labour favouring new money over old. But no party wants the organised power of the National Union of Mineworkers back.

Forth man arrested for arsen on Sir Keir Starmer property
quote BBC
“He was later arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life. The charges relate to three incidents – a vehicle fire in Kentish Town, north London, a fire at the prime minister’s private home on the same street and a fire at an address that he previously lived in Islington, north London.
The man has been taken to a London police station and remains in custody”

Sir Keir Starmer, seems to be beset by troubles, from many sides.
I wonder how much longer he can hang on to the job of Prime minister.
Announcing spending billions on a new cold war, probably will not save him.

Quote BBC“Prime Minister Keir Starmer says the U.K. military is moving to war-fighting readiness”
Fat Jon
“one must ask why are they intending to big up the Royal navy and take on Russia in a World War?”
Because they are playing the ultimate Project Fear card.
Frighten the plebs to death, and get them watching 24/7 news channels to see if/when they are all going to die; big up the defence budget and imply the military will protect you; then when everyone is cowering with fear and the enemy has not dropped any tactical nukes, the politicians will turn round and say “You see? Our direct and aggressive policies have saved you from Armageddon. Aren’t we brilliant?”
And all the relieved electorate will relax, and promise to vote for them forever; not realising that it was all just a massive scam to allow the military hardware companies to make even more billions in mega profits.
At least with Starmer, we know he is following the secret projects to the letter and we can see precisely how this is going to play out. This is the advantage of having a NATO puppet as PM.

Europe is crumbling away.
Quote BBC – The Netherlands
“By toppling the coalition over the issue of asylum, it’s likely Wilders will put it at the centre of his campaign in the snap elections that are likely to be called”

Geert Wilders pulls the PVV out of the coalition in The Netherlands.
It dopes seem that despite the best efforts of the E.U. Elite, the peoples of Europe “want to be listened too”Perhaps the globalists are losing their grip?

From 24 to 25 June 2025 the Netherlands will host the NATO Summit in the World Forum in The Hague.
https://www.government.nl/topics/nato-summit-2025So in a few weeks
The Netherlands will be heading the NATO summit, in The Hague.
Mark Rutte was fairly recently the Prime minister of The Netherlands, he is currently the Secretary General of NATO
Yet now the Dutch Government have a collapsed system.
They can not lead themselves, how can they lead NATO?Globalism is not doing too good.

The Royal Berkshire Hospital was opened in 1839
Fat Jon
“one must ask why are they intending to big up the Royal Navy and take on Russia in a World War?”Because they are playing the ultimate Project Fear card.
Jon, I agree completely.
Our main hospital is almost two hundred years old
Royal Berkshire, it needs rebuilding, relocating, they will probably need a billion quid or more.
Wes Streeting has offered them four million quid.So why are we saying we will spend 3% of future GDP on weapons systems, when we cannot re-build
a two hundred year old hospital?ET
Michael, not all the RBH buildings are 200 years old. I worked there for a number of years. I agree with your overall point though. Project fear, or more precisely, project give UK tax payers money to USA arms companies, investment banks etc is being ginned up.
Fat Jon
Yes, it is a strange world we live in where governments will spend more on killing machines than they do on machines which keep the population alive.

RAF Aldermaston
Quote BBC
“9,000 jobs have been secured after the government announced a £15 billion investment in its nuclear warhead programme. It said it would be adding to the UK’s defence systems, with upgrades coming to the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) in Aldermaston including 12 new attack submarines.
The move comes as the Government publishes the outcome of its Strategic Defence Review, to “protect the UK’s national security against a backdrop of increasing geopolitical threats”.
Secretary of state for defence John Healey said that he celebrated the “essential and unique work” done by AWE.”
One of my friends used to work there but he is not allowed to talk about it.michael norton
How many number one priorities can this government have?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9vglrkmk4po
They had claimed that Global Warming/Net Zero was the most important.
Then they claimed economic growth was the most important, hence new concrete runways and data centers and fun resorts.
Now they are splurging fifteen billion on nuclear weapon systems, as now war is the most important, as Russia is a big threat to the United Kingdom.
Can I ask, will any of the rearmament stuff slow down Carbon dioxide from getting in to the atmosphere?
There are some people saying that the £9,000 grant to install heat pumps, is being quietly got rid.I am beginning to think the new government are back peddling on Net Zero and their view that Global Warming is no longer biggest threat to life on earth?

Who are The Elites?
I have just been watching LtCOL. Karen Kwiatkowski
talking with Judge Napolitanomichael norton
She is saying The Elites are discussing survivable nuclear war.
I can not believe that Sir keir Starmer is one of The Elites, he works for The Elites.
