Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

SUPREME LEADER: UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO PREPARE FOR THE IMAM MAHDI’S ERA
Shia – Iran – Farsi – Theocracy – led by Supreme Leader, “Guardian of Religous Jurists” – Ali Khameini, made Ayatollah on Khomeini’s death, becoming a Marja 4 yrs later (some disputed this) Khomeini said it is the duty of the Supreme Leader to pass the flag to the Mahdi – the 12th Imam who will reappear in the last days, to bring peace and justice and end times of chaos and conflict.

SISTANI: I AM SERVANT OF ALL IRAQUIS, NO DIFFERENCE, SUNNI, SHIA, KURD OR CHRISTIAN
Shia – Iraq – Arabic – Democracy – led by a President and PM – Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, a marja from Najaf, is the senior cleric in Iraq, practises “quietism”, a non political leadership. A Marja = Source (of emulation) follow him, read his books, ask his local rep what you should do

    THE IRAN CONNECTION IN IRAQ
Wikileaks: Ayatollah Sistani is Iraq’s Bulwark against Iran: by Haydar Al-Khoei http://www.juancole.com/2010/12/al-khoei-ayatollah-sistani-is-iraqs-bulwark-against-iran-wikileaks.html

    THE AL KHOEI FAMILY
Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei (1899–1992)was one of the most influential Shia Islamic scholars (marja’), and predecessor to Ali al-Sistani, the spiritual leader of much of the Shia world until his death in 1992. Haydar al Khoei lives in London and is his grandson. Hayder speaks out about the 2003 killing of his father, Abdul Majid al-Khoei, at the Imam Ali shrine in Najaf.

    MOQTADR AL SADR
Moqtadr al Sadr was the main suspect and fled to Iran but after receiving quarantees from the government returned. His case has been dropped. Al Sadr’s party is key to the fragile coalition of Prime Minister al Maliki. Although not a mujithad (scholar) he may still seek to replace Sistani on his death and to model the Iranian style of clerical leadership. “As the United States seeks to balance Iranian influence in Iraq, continued tracking of the Sadrist movement’s internal dynamics will be critical, as will maintenance of U.S. diplomatic outposts in strategic locations such as Hillah, near Najaf.”

DR AL MILANI; SAAD AL HILLI FUNERAL
Ayatollah Dr Fadhil H Al-Milani was born in the Holy City of Kerbala in 1944 and took religious studies in the Holy City of Najaf under Grand Ayatollah Al Hakim 1968 – 1970 and Grand Ayatollah Abul Qassim Al Khoei 1962 – 1970. He was appointed representative of the late Ayatollah Al Khoei in the United Kingdom and is currently authorised on behalf of Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani. He officiated at the funeral of Saad al hilli at the al Khoei Mosque in London.

SAAD AL HILLI: HIS THINKING WAS….
So…. Saad al Hilli, reader of the Quran, on jihadist websites, his funeral service led by Dr al Milani at the al Khoei mosque, with its links to Qassim al Khoei and Ali al Sistani – the quietist Ayatollah in Najaf. Probably Saad al Hilli was neither friend nor foe of Iran, instead a supporter of al Sistani, and not likley to be a recruited for or against Shia Iran. Plotting to bring Shia Iran down – No, plotting to assist Iran – No. That leaves Iraqi politics and Iraqi money….

Yes. Hashim was the iraqi ambassador to the united nations.

Havent you been here during the past 2 months? 🙂

Hashim was trained in Ann Arbour from 1938 together with saddams uncle Hammoudi al Majed and Saddams stepfather Hasan Ibrahim was also in Ann Arbour from 1938. They were OSS trainees. From 1947 Hashim was in the Iraqi embassy in Washington and he voted in the UNO in 1947 regarding Israel. Hashims main event was when he represented Iraq in the famous Bandung conference. In the 1970tees Hashim worked in the Iraqi embassy in London.

This is interesting about SIRC and sweden with gauthier. However, the family branch “Gauthier dit Larouche” and the other Gauthiers split in late 1600 early 1700 in Canada. We dont know how close they are 300 years later, do we?

However, it is interesting to see that the same families are in power of each country for so many 100dreds of years and they seem to know each other very well still after such a long time.

Thanks for your research on Arab websites. I fully agree about what you said in the last paragraph. That makes a lot of sense. Iran was never involved here. This is about money, about CIA vs CIA and mobsters vs mobsters. The main issue however, is money and/or perhaps blackmailing. Thats again about money, though.

the article you quote claims to represent the latest French police thinking. It introduces very subtle changes yet replicates impossibilities. It should be noted this is was made almost TWO MONTHS (Oct. 27th) after the events yet the police still reiterate that Martin made the 3.48 call despite his denial. Is he lying or are they? Why do they not address this point?

Then again Mollier overtaking Martin is brought right forward to the START of the climb rather than during it as suggested by Martin. I suggest this is to provide more distance and time between the two, time required to allow Martin to claim he did not see or hear the shooting.

I admit I have analysed this before but I will do so again as I am not sure ppl have really got the point. If we accept Martin’s report that the climb took “half an hour”, Mollier would have had to be cycling AT LEAST TWICE the speed to even stand a chance of arriving in half the time – i.e. 3.30. This is basic maths. However to be shot he would have to have taken LESS time than that, to allow him to dismount and engage with the Al Hilli’s before being shot.

Now let’s apply some common sense and logic to this. Even if Mollier overtook Martin at the bottom of the climb, it is unlikely Mollier would have been going twice as fast. If that picture of Martin on his bike is to be believed, it is clear he is no slouch and this is confirmed by his semi-professional cycling and time trials.

Whichever way you look at it, Martin must have arrived only a matter of MINUTES after Mollier, which is supported by his description of the collapsing Zainab. It forces me to conclude that Martin was spared from the same fate as the Al Hilli’s and Mollier, not by good luck but by design. He was either not included or was protected.

Then there is the gun identified now as a Luger PO6 rather than the previously announced PO8. Quote: “The only shooter used a Luger P06. Fragments of the weapon were found near the bike rider.” This does not address the very real problem of the location of the used cartridges that could not have come from a Luger ejecting UP AND TO THE RIGHT. Notice it is said fragments of the gun were next to Mollier DESPITE the fact that he was the FIRST to be shot. Neither do they say precisely WHERE this was or what bit of the gun it was. Naively it seems, they do not consider the rather obvious point that these bits could be lost, left behind, intentionally to leave a false trail.

Then there is the CONSIDERED French view: “The assassin then its vacuum loaders. “Investigators collect all 25 sockets on the scene” . Short of ammunition, he tries to kill Zainab by hitting it with the butt of his gun. According to Le Monde , “an unexpected event seems to have stopped the dirty job killer” who flees.” Both the view that he ran out of bullets on a Luger PO6 just does not work. Eight bullets in the magazine produces either 24 or 32 shots. Only if they started out with a bullet in the chamber is running out at 25 bullets explained. Anyway this would AT LEAST two changes of magazine. Do you really think the killer would bring two spare but not three or four?

After seven weeks of contemplation by the BEST investigators the French State can provide, is this the best they can do?

British Intelligence was DESPERATE for inside information on the Iraqi state prior to 2003. Who was better placed than SAH with uncle up to his neck in Iraqi developments at least up to the early 70’s and no doubt thereafter. He knew the religion, he knew the language, he knew the involvement of British and American intelligence and how they supported Iraq v. Iran after the fall of the Shah. No doubt Kadim was party to this as well and the knowledge may have kept him alive. How much was transferred to the respective sons is unknown but there is every chance on the death of Kadim this sensitive information came fully into Saad’s possession including the location of huge tranches of money, untouched and from unknown source whether legitimate or otherwise.

Both in Iraq and in Afghanistan there has been HUGE fraud and misappropriation of money. Whenever money disappears it doesnt really disappear, it just goes somewhere else. Why did the USA send 12 billion to Iraq, only for three quarters of it to be unaccounted for i.e. pass into the hands of someone else. What if it was just a scheme to waste Iraqi resources and channel them back to American and other elements supporting the war, effectively impoverishing the country? And what did happen to Saadam’s stashed billions? Was SAH in the know? Did it implicate companies and nations in grotesque fraud? Did he intend to transfer this information to left wing elements in France with sympathies to Palestine and Iran? Was documentary evidenve in a roof travel trunk? Was it considered essential to neutralise both sides of the transaction and any adult aware of it?

I have wondered for some time if the Chevaline assassinations are fallout from what has happened in Libya. From the overthrow of Gaddafi, continuing on to the SNC Lavalin scandal (missing millions, the alleged attempt to get Saadi Gaddafi to Mexico, an executive in a Swiss jail and another charged but freed, the N.Z.-Australian-Canadian soldier of misfortune, jailing of Cynthia Vanier in Mexico, etc.), to the Chevaline murders to the assassination of U.S. Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi: is it all a CIA/FBI operation? Did the trail of dirty money lead to all of these casualties?

  • NR

    @ Q 30 Nov, 2012 – 12:55 am
“I have wondered for some time if the Chevaline assassinations are fallout from what has happened in Libya. From the overthrow of Gaddafi…”

What a coincidence. It is Kismet or Serendipity or Synchronicity or another of those Karma-like things?

I am just in receipt of an email from a desperate bank clerk in Libya, who is holding US$27,000,000 of the late dictator’s money in a secret account. Now that Gadaffi is gone, his manager demands he rid the bank of this cash, but it cannot be done through regular channels and implores me to help him.

We are in early stages of negotiations, and somewhere along the way I suspect he’ll need some good-faith money, and I fear I’ll not have enough.

So I’m happy to share my good fortune with all of you here at Craig Murry & MZT & Icke too. To get in on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, bring equivalent US$20,000 in whatever hard currency you prefer (no gold or diamonds please) up to Martinet, date & time to follow. I’ll arrange to meet our new Libyan friend in Geneva and sneak over the border. Back with our fortunes in three hours max. I promise. You all can have a picnic and look for clues in the bushes while I’m gone.

  • Q

    $139 million.

@NR: Is it like a house of cards, your Kismet scheme? If the flow of money is blocked in one direction, say by new banking regulations that lead to account closures by a chartered bank in one country, will the money automatically flow in another direction? Or does it all come crashing down at some point?

    @ Tim
I wonder if the article saying the 4×4 and MB were SPEEDING towards the scene is a translation error, it seems odd as I assume that that if it is the forest 4×4 it took the turn off just before the lay-by and they did escort a motorbike back down the hill because he was in a forbidden area but until they take that turn off onto the other road there is no reason for them to be speeding as the MB could have just been going up the hill and back down again like everyone else that day .

Have you any links to Melvin (the young lad riding his MB illegally in the woods)it was said he scarpered when the sirens started arriving I would like to know where he was ?

No time today so wont be around untill later.

  • Katie

Re: your 12-44 comment Tim, you are finally moving in the right direction & beginning to see what I’ve said repeatedly.

“British Intelligence was DESPERATE for inside information on the Iraqi state prior to 2003.”

I do not agree here that it was SAH they were using for information, that was Auchi who was still active in Iraq although living in the UK & connected to intelligence services in both countries.
    He was the arms dealer.

You say the following & I have said this a number of times:

“Re. gangster killings do not underestimate the ability of security services of distancing themselves fro assassination by using criminal elements when desired.

“And what did happen to Saadam’s stashed billions? Was SAH in the know? Did it implicate companies and nations in grotesque fraud? ‘

“Who was better placed than SAH with uncle up to his neck in Iraqi developments at least up to the early 70′s and no doubt thereafter. He knew the religion, he knew the language, he knew the involvement of British and American intelligence and how they supported Iraq v. Iran after the fall of the Shah. No doubt Kadim was party to this as well and the knowledge may have kept him alive.”

That knowledge may have kept him alive….but also it may have been the cause of his death. SAH like his father knew too much of what happened to Saddams money & who were his corrupt henchmen.

If we could find out when SAH was hospitalised for heart palpitations I think that would coincide with his father telling him something of his past, that something would have to be taken care of once he died, that ‘something’ was the root of his fear. [ I believe his carer [ guard ] should be a suspect. ]

The interesting thing is why Saad & not the elder son Zaid, or is Zaid better able to cope with stress ?

Saddam gave his second wife Samira, millions & gold bars when she fled the country, as he would have his first wife & two daughters, I would say that is how much of his wealth was taken out of the country in gold, the missing US money is a separate matter & much later.

The Al Hillis are small fry when it comes to monetary wealth, their ‘wealth/danger’ was information & historic knowledge.

    That article is rubbish !
It may just be a “page filler”.
“An investigator told Le Monde…..But the prosecutor denies it”
    Kind of says it all.
And that was said about Al Hilli being hit in the back.
I mean, they did have the body, right !

They DO make it appear that EVERYBODY missed each other by seconds!
Which is remarkable, but will be “the story” in the end.

It will be fun to watch Eric saying WBM was passed by SM, when WBM has already said he was ahead !
But that’ll nothing when they argue about who made the call.
Eric has feet in both camps on that one !!!!

They also say they have investigated everything, including the brother of the 74 year old shot in the car…..

AND YET not one mention of the Swiss bank account OR the broken roof box rail / bike rail !

This is the best friend of mr. Porter and connected somehow to the lost money. A very interesting guy indeed and he approves my theory about the iraqi jews.

    Quotes:
He’s an Iraqi Jew, born in Tehran in 1951. He’s a former employee of the Israeli government who first garnered media attention in 1989, when he was arrested in the United States and charged with attempting to sell three military aircraft to Iran, in contravention of the U.S. Arms Export Control Act.

Mr. Ben-Menashe says he continued traveling the world for Israel, as a military intelligence officer and then as special intelligence advisor to former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir.

Mr. Ben-Menashe still clings to his Iraqi-Jewish roots. “The idea of justice, doing the right thing, these are the things that stuck. That’s what we were brought up with. Iraqi Jews, as a whole, see themselves as the aristocracy of the Jews,” he says. “We are extremely well-educated people, and I’m not the only one. And we’ve really never had any connection with Israel. We weren’t part of the Zionist movement.”

But he did work for the Israeli government. “Yes, I did. That was an aberration. I happened to be the right guy at the right time. I spoke Farsi, Arabic, English. I knew the United States. But at some point I wasn’t seen as one of the boys. And while I honestly believed in Israel at the time, I eventually lost faith in it.”Contrary to popular belief, he has never claimed to have worked for Mossad, the Israeli secret service, he insists. “I was a senior military intelligence officer for awhile. Then I was President Shamir’s foreign intelligence advisor for two years. It was security-related work. It’s all in the book.”

Ben Menashe has a brother, ari ben menashe, who works/worked for israel intelligence.

Here ben menashe speaks out internals. There was another link on that side promising more menashe leakings, but that part of the site is gone. Nada.

    Quote:

In a 1993 interview with WW3 REPORT editor Bill Weinberg, former Israeli spy Ari Ben-Menashe (author of “Profits of War: Inside the Secret US-Israeli Arms Network,” Sheridan Square Press 1992) said that the Achille Lauro attack was actually an Israeli “black propaganda” operation financed by the Mossad-Military Intelligence Joint Committee, a secret Israeli team established in the 1980s to smuggle arms to Iran. Ben-Menashe, then with Military Intelligence, worked in the Joint Committee with Mossad director of operations Rafi Eitan, who he names as architect of the scheme. Ben-Menashe maintains that the attempted bombing of a 1986 El Al jet in London–which led to the UK breaking off relations with Syria–was also secretly masterminded by the Eitan. Said Ben-Menashe: “These were Rafi Eitan operations. He was on the Committee and we worked together for a long time. It is difficult to say how far up in the Israeli government it was authorized–perhaps by [1980s prime ministers Yitzhak] Shamir or [Menachim] Begin. I believe the details were not known by the politicians. It was all carried out through connections. In the Achille Lauro affair, we used a Sicilian family in Catania with connections to both sides. I knew them from my arms-smuggling work, and they also had various business links with Palestinian extremists, mostly selling guns. It’s a very murky world.” (High Times, March 1993)

To be fair, can’t argue with much of what you say there, except for your conclusion that what SAH knew could be enough to get him, his wife and mother-in-law killed, and not forgetting SM either.

If the Iraqis were all an exiled clique, branches from the same root, surely there are other more effective ways of getting people to keep shtum, to toe the line .. money, promises of power, influence to come ..

What could be the trigger, according to your theory?

  • Katie

    Mochyn.

Firstly there are far too many of them to bribe, with Saddam’s direct family I see no problem with secrecy, but those who hated the man were many, there would an endless supply of those wanting retribution on anyone who worked with or for the man willingly…….. I still think one of the dead women was related to Saddam in some way.

However to answer your question, the trigger could be Saad’s behaviour, he’d become a wild card & too talkative, let’s face it several people knew things they shouldn’t have, like he was talking about secret papers, he said something to a neighbour who would not pass it to the press only the police, he was scared, he’d change the locks, bought a stun gun, becoming too vocal online, he was certainly very visible looking at those Tandems & caravan …….he was hardly discreet…..this is not a man to be relied upon when billions of pounds & reputations at the highest level, are at stake.

He changed his jobs many times & didn’t seem to stick with much. Never made a go of anything in his own right,no cash of his own, married late, disturbed childhood.

He dashed off to France, suddenly,, switched camp sites, he went off several times a day alone, constantly pumping up a tyre, all in all he was cracking, a restless person heading for a breakdown or did he just sense something was not right about this meeting he’d agreed to ?

If the latter then his senses were accurate because that meeting was a deliberate trap set by a worried ‘powerful’ person involved with governments & we come back to our friend again NA …………

History stemming from the father is the only key I see……. there maybe something connected with the wife as mentioned earlier, but that would compound this theory not detract from it.

  • bluebird

    Katie,

the “pumping of the tyre” is quite unusual. When I have a destroyed tire and I have to go +500 miles back to the UK; then I would not pump the old tyre but I’d go to the next car repair and purchase a new tire. Also he had said to friends that he had problems with his back. Manually pumping up a tire is the worst thing you could do then, particularly considering when this is free when doing that in gasoline stations with pressure air. During the oast 30 years I had never ever seen manually pumping a tyre of a car. That is completely stupid except …….

…. except when I am hide something inside that tire. What could I hide inside a tyre?
    Money? Drugs? Documents? Diamonds?

That’s just a guess. However, there was a flat tyre at the scene. Did somebody force Saad to tell the secret about the whereabouts? E.g. by first hurting his daughter, then shooting but not killing his mother in law, then shooting but not killing his wife, deliberately creating some pain and despair?
Hurting or even killing family members in front of the victim’s eyes for getting/forcing immediate answers usually is a trademark of the Russian mafia.

Then he tells the secret, they open the tyre and they will find what they had searched for. And once they got what they had searched for, finally they will kill all of them with two shots into their heads.

I believe that that tyre wasn’t accidentally destroyed and particularly the “manually pumping of a car tyre” is the weirdest and strangest thing I have ever heard in my life. This is completely idiotic. When there isn’t enough air I will go to a gasoline station. Everybody will do that. You, you and me. And even Saad will do that. When the tire is flat then I will put on the tyre I have as my reserve and I would immediately purchase a new tyre, particularly when I am planning to go back to the UK. However, the last thing any of us would ever do is manually pumping a tyre. Crazy! Except when I do it deliberately because I use that tyre for something to hide inside ….

I should have added loose tongued friends & death of his father.

Yes BB I have always thought the tyre activity was odd, maybe a nervous twitch to get away from kids to think, remember the media said it was the right rear tyre he played with not the one in the photo which is the left side of the car.

    @Katie..

You say Sa’ad “didn’t stick at anything” ?
He was a contractor. That’s what they do. The sitch contracts.

And that is the thing. He has to be the “lowest paid” contractor I have ever come across !

His recent contract was with SSTL from November 2010, but he had started contracting many years before.

Where ? Dubai ? He met and dated his future wife there.

What had he been doing ? Well something that gave him experence OR kept his experience current, as SSTL took him on as a contrator.

That part of his life is unexplained.

Don’t know about France but most garages in the Uk charge for air these days plus of course SAH would have to drive on the soft tyre to the garage, risking further damage (not to mention a ticket). Few cars come with a spare either, it’s either a “spacesaver” (max speed 40 mph) or worse a tin of gunge. Tyres are also expensive items so I don’t see any problem with him chosing to pump the thing up on occasions. I check the pressure in my tyres using a footpump. Anyway whilst somebody might use a spare to smuggle drugs or whatever you wouldn’t use a wheel in service, it would throw it out of balance and trash the contents.

    Blue, Kempe

    What’s even “stranger”.
I don’t carry a fot pump in either of my cars. Do you ?

Would a vehicle foot pump be used to blow up a camping bed, or do they have there own special type of foot pump ?
