The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

    We may all be amateurs on here, but surely there must be some MSM journalists, political personages, diplomats, government employees, professional investigators, police officers, lawyers, security guys, friends and relations, anybody with some influence out there, who drop by in here occasionally and care enough about what happened up there three months ago to press for some more reliable information to be brought out in the public domain to help bring the perpetrators to justice.

    In 1945, Syrian-born Isaac Shalom of New York City together with Joseph Shamah of Jerusalem and Ezra Teubal of Buenos Aires, concerned about what they saw as Jewish spiritual decline and intellectual impoverishment, founded Ozar Hatorah as a non-profit organization in Jerusalem under the chairmanship of Joseph Shamah. After the establishment of the State of Israel, Ozar Hatorah ceased its operations in Israel and began opening schools throughout the Middle East and North Africa. It established 40 schools in Iran in which 8,600 students were enrolled, and also provided Jewish education in primary schools of the Alliance Israélite Universelle. In Syria, Ozar Hatorah is active in Aleppo and Damascus, where its school originally had 350 students. The schools are funded by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, in 1971, the Damascus school was singled out by the government education department as the school with the highest grades in the country. Ozar Hatorah was present in Tripoli, Libya before the Jewish population emigrated to Israel in 1950, and still operates schools in Morocco with a total enrollment of over 500 students. At its peak, the organization was operating an educational network serving some 17,000 students, ranging from first grade youngsters to learned students preparing to enter the rabbinate. After the massive emigration of Jews from North Africa to France, Ozar Hatorah extended its network to France, opening a first school in 1961 in Lyon.[2]
    By 1970, it was running 23 schools and a summer camp in Morocco, 41 schools and a summer camp in Iran, two elementary schools in Syria, and an elementary school in Lyon with a total enrollment of 13,610 students.[1] In 1971, two schools were opened in two suburbs of Paris, Créteil and Sarcelles which now have some 1,000 students. Subsequently, schools were set up in Antony, Toulouse, Marseille, and other cities, bringing the total number of Ozar Hatorah schools in France to 20, some maintained with local funds. The organization plans to developed the schools to be a center for Jewish life with a mikveh, synagogue, adult classes, day camps, and other community activities.[2]

    On 31 December 2001, Molotov cocktails were thrown at the Ozar Hatorah school in the Paris suburb of Créteil, burning down a classroom. It was first condemned as an antisemitic attack,[3] but the perpetrator turned out to be a pupil of the school.[4]
    On 19 March 2012, four people were killed, including a teaching rabbi and three children, when a gunman riding on a scooter opened fire on the Ozar Hatorah school in Toulouse.[5]

    @Tim V This was looked at earlier on so it’s going over old ground. Don’t recall if the likeliest PD was ever postulated. There are a few possibles – see 123. As for Phippe Desmazes – another PD – this one’s name frequently pops up on photo credits, either with /AFP or /Getty/AFP. His own picture (search google images) is in the story about how he took the Gaddafi photo and should he/ shouldn’t he have got the credit for it. There was speculation early on that he had arrived ASAP to photgraph Chevaline, …and …maybe he WAS the mysterious PD, who was at first unknown, then with first name and only an initial for surname, finally as DidierJean in the English Guardian on 11/9/12. On the one hand he himself was at Syrte taking photos. But are credits given to a business name, or to a small collective of photographers working together? Also on the 6th there was a Desmazes picture from elsewhere – ie Grenoble (or library clip?) So the significance is not personal? The credits for him keep rolling in from Chevaline during the period and perhaps he or his mates are still there? Final point: a photo reporter is not the best choice as an actor in a scripted makeover – all too prone to feed the press pack with little tidbits of what went on. And what of such a chance for a scoop picture to rival the Ghadafi one? But this didnt happen.

    Thanks for your links regarding the mizrahi-jew schools and the terrorist attacks against those schools. After the Ben Menashe history and the Hernitage Fund and the Diamonds and all that rest, things are getting clearer and more logic.

    There is a war between Ashkenazi and Mizrahi Jews. The muslims are just used in that 100years war as their “useful idiots” to cover up their war to become openly realised.

    Basically it says a “friend” who doesn’t want to be named, claims Sa’ad set up his phone so he could be tracked using Google Latitude.

    The friend became worried when he saw the car stationary for sometime (I think now they mean a “long time”, like overnight) and tried to call him. That failed and he went around to Sa’ads house.
    There he was met by the arriving Sky News Team.

    I first thought…. but then realised, due to the timing of his visit to the house and News teams arrival (it would have been the next day), they mean he “saw” the car was stationary at that location (the knoll !) for “sometime” ! Which would indeed be “odd”.

    Knowing that will explain a lot about why we often find jews on both sides of the opponents. An Iran war will once again be a war between Mizrahis and zionist ashkenazis rather than a war between Israel and Iranians.

    If the friend was worried it hadnt moved overnight then they cant be a person mentioned before now. I think Julian Stedman(A/ctant) + neighbours + Gary Aked were roused early on 6/9 by the speed their quotes appeared to be in the papers.

    If you were a relative being allowed only very limited access to your 2 orphaned relatives, what would you do?
    Tell your story as LOUDly as possible regardless of how BAD it might make our Government or the joint police force investigation team look?

    Rather than jump to “conspiracy”, he could have told Ikbal’s sister. She’s nearby. Something fun for the children to think their aunt can “see” them

    I am 100% sure that the girls are living in the house of an MI6 agent whose family is registeted as a foster family.

    I no longer think the children’s lives are in danger as they would have been killed at the time of the shootings.
    This then means surely that the killer had his face covered , is confident that Zainab could not identify him ?

I ran naked outside and saw a military formation whose uniforms identified them as GSU, creeping slowly down my driveway. I woke Amy, the 17 year old with whom I was living, and calmly told her to get dressed – that the GSU was invading the property.

    Amy is a tough young woman. She said nothing, got up, got dressed and sat calmly on the edge of the bed.

    I put on a pair of shorts and went outside. I was immediately grabbed and shoved up against the wall of the house. A sheet of paper was produced stating that the GSU was looking for an illegal meth lab. I did not have my glasses and could not read it so the officer explained it to me.

    The remainder of that day was a nightmare of the highest order. My hands were handcuffed behind my back and for 14 hours I sat in the sun without food or water while I watched my property being destroyed and taken away.

    At around two in the afternoon I asked a nearby officer for water and food. “Do I look like a chef to you?” was his reply. I was finally taken to Belize City and thrown in Jail.

    Eight hours later I was released with no charges being filed.

    A few days later I emailed the Prime Minister and asked for a public apology. “Who does he think he is?” was his reply to a close associate.

    I think I am an innocent person who was violated by the Belizean Government. In polite society, apologies are in order.

    This was the beginning of my antagonism with the Prime Minister and a few of his powerful associates. I have been a vocal opponent of the PM ever since and I will not stop until I receive my apology.

    I suppose if his friends could track him, it wouldn’t be much of a problem for the killers. we now have a firm possible explanation to the question i and others posed right at the beginning: “How did the killers know where to strike?”
