The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?
ETs/EDs Raid Bremerhaven, Germany Last Week;
“Disappear” Dolphin Sub, Nuke & Crew While Under Comprehensive NATO & Intelligence Agency Surveillance!
ETs/EDs (extraterrestrials/extradimensionsals) of the Liberation Forces raided Angela Merkel’s Germany last week, a move expected by the writer, given Germany’s decades of WMD (weapons of mass destruction) proliferation (chemical weapons and precursors, supplying missile expertise, illegal sale of ultra centrifuges to anyone with cash, plus providing quiet Diesel-electric subs to Israel, but set up to allow for rapid conversion to nuclear cruise missile launch platforms). Call the ETs/EDS most unhappy!
The “normal” part of this amazing tale is here, in a withering article by Senior Editor Gordon Duff of Veteran’s Today, but what concerns us is the hidden side of this, the ETs/EDs‘ disappearing of a Dolphin sub, crew and highly illegal 0.5 megaton nuclear weapon after they put to sea (reportedly then making 7.5 knots in crowded Bremerhaven Harbor)–while under comprehensive surveillance by both NATO and multiple international intelligence agencies from the U.S., U.K., and Germany! The ETs/EDs say if anyone asks “Where’s the sub?” the answer is “We have it!”
ETs/EDs Exclusively Reveal Sub Was Bound For Israel!
Apparently, guilt and greed in Germany know no limits, and Russia has yet again been found dispensing nukes to all comers with cash in hand, according to the ETs/EDs. What Gordon Duff mentioned in passing in his article, the ETs/EDs state specifically: “The nukes in his article are Russian, and Russia will pay dearly for this latest transgression in a long string. The Dolphin sub was en route to Israel and did have an Israeli crew.”
Oddly, Israel never signed the treaty and is, by conventional standards, considered a “rogue state.”
A fuller accounting indicates that the warheads may not be American but were of Soviet design. We know the number to be four.
One has been traced to a location inside the London itself. Other locations for this one are likely New York, Lower Manhattan for a December delivery, tuned down to 100 kt, perhaps to pass off as another plane crash. Mombasa and other African ports are on the lists as well. There is a very nasty controversy between US intelligence agencies on information sharing as to this issue. As this is an actual operation, not a “rumor,” attempts to keep secrets or mislead just aren’t going to work anymore, as this article has proven.
Weapons of this type are generally located through use of specialized aircraft, in this case, the Boeing Sentinal E3D. These are highly modified 707 aircraft. The British have 7 of these operating out of RAF Waddington. They were placed on “mechanical fault standown” on April 14. Who would have thought all these planes were preparing to discombobulate? http://www.infiniteunknown.net/2012/05/02/german-dolphin-submarine-loaded-with-a-500-kiloton-hydrogen-bomb-disappears-while-being-tracked-by-the-nsa-mi6-and-every-sophisticated-device-nato-owns/

Like the Secret Service Agents in Colombia? That page also linked to this 2007 conspiracy page, connecting right-wing Falwell to the 9/11 pilots who trained in Florida. Never heard of this angle. Paraphrased snippets.
The late Rev. Jerry Falwell [connected to the late Rev. Moon] links to Wally Hilliard, owner of two terrorist training flight schools in Venice [Florida]. Hillard loaned Falwell 1 million USD, which was only partially repaid.
Wally Hilliard’s former accountant, Stuart Burchill, is CEO of Industrial Nanotech, a company working with Sandia National Laboratories, involved in R&D sponsored by the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security to provide technology solutions that protect nearly 300 million Americans from global threats. [alleged by some to be self-promoting PR&BS]
… at his office in a Huffman Aviation hangar, Paul Martens had no comment… He was just an honest British businessman… who had ties to Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia via his wife.
Is Martens close enough Martin to be a clue? More pilots trained in Florida.

Or do you have links?
Re Britannia Removals – is there a photo link? I missed that. One possible connection is John Hollingworth, a cyclist (see Icke)who was interviewed by the media, staying on the campsite, was a transport manager from Devon. Otherwise, I am stumped.

Thanks for the Falwell link. I don’t think that this is directly related to al Hilli, but who knows? The more we investigate, the more we find that we are ruled by mobsters. In so called “democratic” elections we are allowed to pick a mobster of our own choice. No matter about whom we are electing, it’ll be a mobster. Intelligence services are working with mobsters and killing with mobsters. Recent wars were nothing but mobster hunting and mafia wars.
In religions and churches, however, we have the choice between mobsters and mobsters, too.
And then, our banks and main industrial companies are run by mobsters for mobsters, too. And the media, who are telling us the “truth”, are owned by the same mobsters.
That is sad.
Whether this is drug smuggling, organised pedocrimes and prostitution, money laundering, assassinations of critical people, theft, white collar crimes, bribary or even terror, … our elected and chosen mafia bosses will be somehow involved (world wide, no matter where they are and no matter what religion they pretend to live).

I read Reuters but I am suspicious about what they said since they did not even dare to mention the August explosions in Fordow. They only mentioned stuxnet. This is once again one state sponsored advertising, paid by the ministry of truth 1984.
Off topic regarding SH, but connected to the mobsters I did mention above.
Are the mobsters designing official warning plates?

Felix
30 Jan, 2013 – 6:59 am It’s the cream and white house with the slate hip roof first on the right past the church I’m pretty sure Felix. The trouble is she is reported as saying ““He was coming down the hill on the left side of the road, the wrong side, and I was coming back up the hill towards my house on the right.” which doesn’t fit as this one would be on the left.
Yet it is a close fit with the BBC report at that side gate and they identify the sharp corner. However there is a bit of a problem on that as well as she says “There is a bend that you have to take very slowly. All the villagers know it is very dangerous because there is no visibility and there are often tractors coming the other way.” However if you look at it on Google the visibility, though not perfect, looks pretty good. Nor does it really fit with her description of him “coming down the hill” as it is relatively flat there. Presumably if we are to believe her account, she used the term generically, as he must have “come down the hill” before reaching the bend, but she adds “I was coming back up the hill”. Doesn’t really fit with that bend does it yet it is the only one that appears to qualify and shown by the BBC? Strange.
I can’t find the shop in Droussard or Arnand so it’s not clear where she presumably she shopped at 3.59pm when her receipt was time stamped. I assume it couldn’t have been in Chevaline or it is impossible to dovetail it with her story about meeting the car on the sharp bend beyond the village as she re-entered it.
Of course the location of the shop is important as it gives a strong clue as to the time of their near collision. Let us for argument’s sake it took her ten minutes, then she met the dangerous driver on the bend at about 4.10 pm. If he was at the murder scene it means he would have left it at least ten minutes before. So IF he was there (Maillaud subsequently stated they had traced him – though not made public his identity for being there or driving so fast away from the scene – and ruled him out) he must have left Martinet not later than 4 pm. In other words AFTER Martin had arrived. He would also HAVE to had passed Didierjean at some point, although the latter stated categorically he passed no one before he me Martin.
So if the dangerous Peugeot driver didn’t come from the murder scene, where did he come from? Sylvie Lecouer helpfully added that he had driven slowly through the village. How would she know if she had not reached there? The only way would be if someone else had seen him and told her. If not that aspect of the story was either guessed or planted.
So how reliable is SL? Someone here pointed out her name could be broadly translated as “Heart of the Forest” which is rather co-incidental but not necessarily suspicious. Locals in such a small community, must surely know her and “smell a rat” if she were not reliable or her story did not fit? Or at least we hope they would. So we must put down the inconsistencies to our lack of understanding perhaps rather than any conspiracy. In any event if she had been acting as a plant, her story appears inconvenient to the official line which rather strengthens it.
However one strange facet that has never been explained is how the vehicle she saw morphed into a much larger Peugeot four wheel drive when she described to the Telegraph reporter as “ a small white car, maybe a Peugeot 306 or 206. It was not a 4×4.” (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/9529413/France-shooting-Police-hunt-4×4-driver.html)
Given the ex-French secret service Pierre Martinet description of the cars they chose for operations, (note that name!) this inconspicuous vehicle would fit. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2005/may/05/france.davidhearst1) As I suggested way back, was this the DGSE’s spotter who made the 3.48 call?
@Bluebird 10:57 a.m.: I guess would should wait for Snopes to debunk any and all of the conflicting official versions of what happened at Chevaline. That would make it all better, then. Because Snopes is the final authority on everything.

I continue to be surprised by a couple of things. First, there seems to be a lot of overlap in the world nuclear industry. Second, there have been quite a few corruption inquiries in Germany. Phoney consultants, fake companies, sticky notes, whistleblowers — it sounds very messy, indeed. Is it ever possible to have a clean house without cleaning house?
From last link: “However, it should be noted that bribes were common practice in German business at the time, and even tax-deductible.”
Was there some collateral damage along the way?
@Felix: There is an unpainted shed on Sylvie’s property and a building at the end of the fence that might not be on her property. It looked like a barn to me, but might be a barn conversion. Not to worry though, because across the intersection from her house is a barn with a grey silo, and a fruit truck parked out front. This barn has a field that backs onto the mairie where Didier Bertollet must have an office. I was looking for some sign of horses around there. Further up the mountain there are more barns and pastures. I think there must be horses in the area, what with the town’s name and all. Just another line of inquiry into transportation in and out of the area, and horse trailers with ramps that might leave marks on the ground in roadside parking lots.
Yes, Mr. Hollingworth is on LinkedIn as working for Britannia Lanes. They offer full-service relocation services to Europe and internationally. France and Spain are listed. Also for your convenience, document shredding.
http://www.britannialanes.co.uk/
If someone wanted to transport a vehicle from the U.K. to France, for example, would it go on an open car carrier by road, or an enclosed vehicle carrier? Would several vehicles be shipped at the same time, and would they have to meet some sort of registration paper inspection when crossing borders in order to ensure that they are not stolen? I’m not sure how this works in the EU. Are vehicles which are being moved for their owners more likely to be shipped by rail?
@Tim: I assume that SL did not shop in Chevaline, because some reports said she was returning from a supermarket near Chevaline. There is a corner market in Chevaline. However, that does not match the description of a supermarket near Chevaline. It must be a supermarket in Doussard. I cannot find a supermarket in Chevaline, nor would I expect one in such a small place.
I did find that the town office is a short walk down the street from SL’s house. Strangely, when I did a search for mairie chevaline, this came up:
http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=mairie+chevaline&hl=en&ll=45.762321,6.220397&spn=0.001173,0.00327&sll=51.013117,-114.088499&sspn=0.541724,1.674042&hq=mairie+chevaline&radius=15000&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=45.762321,6.220228&panoid=RgmWPkRejRgo4bdlG2C9uA&cbp=12,2.78,,0,0
It’s Sylvie Lecoeur’s house. Very strange, because this is the mairie, down the street:
http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=mairie+chevaline&hl=en&ll=45.764438,6.219104&spn=0.001173,0.00327&sll=51.013117,-114.088499&sspn=0.541724,1.674042&hq=mairie+chevaline&radius=15000&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=45.764646,6.219053&panoid=YOii_A2gVNJyh2KsQBNsjQ&cbp=12,220.4,,0,4.9
That Google man has a mind of his own.

Annecy has a sister city in Cheltenham. They also have sister cities in Bayreuth, Germany and Sainte-Therese, Quebec. They offer student exchange programs. I remembered why Cheltenham sounded familiar: Gareth Williams.
On naming coincidences: “…there might be something suspicious about Britannia Aviation… Britannia’s chief executive Paul Martens… was just an honest British businessman.”

The above is from a 9/11 conspiracy page. Martens is sometimes spelled Marten in other docs. Britannia was a company with a supposed net worth of $750 that won a large contract in Lynchburg, VA and it was later found their only business was doing maintenance work for CIA owned Caribe Air.

I’m not sure why this case continues to hold my attention but it does. Maybe because it was evident from the start there was some type of government cover-up involved and I was intrigued…
I’ve really enjoyed reading all of your interesting thoughts on the matter. A couple of my own thoughts and questions:
1) How do we really know SM was on a three year leave? Maybe that was the story so we didn’t focus on the work connection? I’m more convinced than ever the killings were somehow related to both his and Al-Hilli’s work. Especially in light of the recent speculation about Iran explosions. Makes perfect sense govt agencies would try to sabotage the nuclear program in such a manner. Did SM help build the rigged centrifuges? Or was he simply an MI6 asset that kept them informed of what Areva/Cesus was selling and to whom? Was he killed because he knew too much or was someone worried he’d attempt ( or did attempt) to tell the Iranians?
2) No pictures of AH family or SM. This fact leads me to believe they were assets or agents of some sort. Agents can’t have pictures in the papers because it could compromise other ongoing operations. For example, maybe Sylvain was known to others by another name? And exposing his picture would let certain individuals know he wasn’t who he said he was.
3) The children being held in “foster care” and not released to relatives. This is very strange..Are they trying to get all the info they can from the children over time or make them forget what they saw?
So many things don’t add up but I sense this centers around Iran and somehow Mossad. Seems to fit their MO based on all I’ve read. Neighbor Saltman, and his background, also leads me in that direction.
