The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?
that’s why we MUST keep plugging away.
The thing is…some “things” do get released.
And yet bizarrely these “things” are accredited to the police, however contradict the official police “line” !
Namely, 25 bullets…now down to 21 !
If we wait until the Xmas Sales, there may be a further reduction !!!
How the hell can a murder investigation “mis-count” the number of bullets fired ?
Surely they would be able to locate where the bullets landed/hit.
And/or count the number of shell casings that are found.
FURTHER…there isn’t a peep form “The Daily Rag” OR “France Aujourd’Hui” about this !
I believe that it was Zanni (Swiss Tony to his friends) who named Bossy. And again nada from Zee Police OR the newspapers ! Very odd indeed.
The relationship between Israel and its neighbours is at the very heart of much of the world’s violence. It is the black hole at the centre of the political galaxy. Its birth was the product of western powers – a combination of sympathy and guilt, within a Christian world view, that saw Old Testament claims and prophesy a representation of no less than some divine plan. Before its creation as a state in 1948 it has used a combination of terrorism and propaganda to get its way. This has continued subsequently and by and large the west has supported it and turned a blind eye to the outrageous behaviour against those it has subjugated and invaded. Whilst invariably claiming it is the “only democracy in the Middle East”, and the Rule of Law, in practice this only extends to Jews and not to the Palestinian for whom there was no justice in respect of death, torture, incarceration, banishment, theft of land, demolition of property. No wonder the process of radicalisation and resistance has continued. For those who see individual events as merely the pustules of a morbid body politic, viewing this programme will be essential viewing and a confirmation that there can be no peace without justice.

DURATION: 1 HOUR, 30 MINUTES http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b02yywn4
Since some of the old crowd has resurfaced after an extended absence, I thought this was a propos, as it resulted in some heated discussions way back when:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/jun/17/defence-d-bbc-media-censor-surveillance-security
Yes, D-notices. It has been some time since we’ve discussed them. Edward Snowden is the subject of a D-notice. Imagine that, a D-notice.
@Q – the interesting thing about that Guardian report is that they are reporting what the Guido Fawkes blog revealed of a DA notice sent to them (the Guido Fawkes blog) and quoting from that blog. They are not reporting the content of their (the Guardians) own DA notice. Without the “leak” from Guido Fawkes there would be no report in the Guardian…
Relevant to the Chevaline case in that, provided no news organisation “leaks” the existence of a specific DA notice then it remains secret.
I still remember the curious way the Guardian “Cif” comments on Chevaline were censored… (I happened to catch a few of the comments before they were totally deleted – in itself unusual – normally the text is just removed and the shell of the comment is left with a message saying it doesn’t “meet community standards”. In this case all traces of there ever having been a comment were removed). I think all the censored comments were speculating that this might be the work of a Near Eastern state that enjoys the backing of the USA & UK and has a history of murdering those it considers its enemies.
So…
You can “report” on the what another has published about a Defence Advisory Notice BUT NOT the fact that you have been issued a Defence Advisory Notice yourself OR the matter that the notice pertains to (as that would of course mean you have been issued it in the first instance) ?
Kind of like a “DA Notice issued with regard a certain matter is in itself a DA Notice about a DA Notice” !
Ah… the smell of “freedom” !
“Being called a traitor by Dick Cheney is the highest honour you can give an American.”
Best line ever !
I woupd recommend to study the Iraq folder files leaked there. Tgere are French, Dubai and Iraq connections in detail by a private British mercenaries company.
Unfortunately i do not have much time these days but i am sure that tim v., marlin, Q and james might find something “eye opening” there in those now leaked British/Dubai Iraq charts. Start digging!

A DA notice regarding surveillance methods means that we arent allowed to know about surveillance of innocent citizens. I dont think that this would be legal in any constitution whatsoever. Oh well, the terrorists! This is being used as an excuse for destroying freedom and democracy and violating our constitution. What would be the more dangerous terror?
Orwell once predicted that there are certain things the people wont question and what they would take for given as a tool for their security. 24×365 surveillance was one of those.
Of course there was a D notice in the al Hilli case. Too many false reports, too many lies and particularly too many things that werent reported although they were obvious and would be reported in any similar events (including photos).
As for new surveillance methods:
http://m.utsandiego.com/news/2013/Jun/17/license-plate-reader-LPR-san-diego-surveillance/?#article-copy
More on surveillance technologies used by NSA we havent heard of yet. There are a lot of unknown knowns. Guess what happens when somebody is going to leak such things?
http://actu.epfl.ch/news/mapping-a-room-in-a-snap/
“Oh well, the terrorists! This is being used as an excuse for destroying freedom and democracy and violating our constitution”.
Especially if you can actually create some terrorists to actually fight…then you have a perfect “circle” of cause and effect. Or action and reaction.
“The idea of terrorism is to terrorise” so it is said.
This has been developed.
It should read, “the idea of terrorism is to create an environment of actually and perceived terror (“perceived terror” as that is the essence of terrorism afterall, the fear of “actual terror”)…and then you can do anything”
AND Britam. Now didn’t we get there before via “Number 55” ?
Do I recall seeing that company website before ?

“Joint Functional Concept” by US Defense Dept !
“During the period of 2010 to 2025, U.S. Joint Forces’ relationships with U.S. civilian law
enforcement agencies, the Department of Homeland Security and appropriate agencies
within the intelligence community have grown significantly. U.S. Joint Forces have also
maintained very strong military relations with NATO and other foreign militaries.
Multinational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques and
Procedures (TTPs) have been developed and are in use daily. Multinational training
events have become commonplace, and foreign militaries have joined with the U.S.
military in developing common interfaces, policies, and protocols. Individuals are able to
filter, structure, and visualize shared data and information in meaningful ways. Initiatives
to enable multinational information sharing are providing the capability for U.S. and
Allied militaries to share data and information transparently and effortlessly”
There’s your “1984” gentlemen.
Just remembered the other comments that were deleted (from the Guardian) were those that speculated on Mollier’s line of work.
So ?perhaps? a DA notice forbidding speculation on links with Israel, nuclear related technology and the Chevaline murders???
Note also that the “Joint Functional Concept” by US Defense Dept…
…does not make mention of “terrorism”.
Just the concept of the “capability for U.S. and Allied militaries to share data and information transparently and effortlessly”
No reason why. No threat indicated. No terrorist even.
With that in mind and Bleb’s comment. How “big” are these DAN’s ?
They cover U.K. media AND French media ?
Or are we all “ONE” that the “Joint Functional Concept” speaks of !
@James
Interesting question about the French media. These two:
1) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship_in_France
2) http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/france/100506/french-media-press-freedom
seem to suggest that the same effect as a DA notice could be achieved by other means.
Bleb.
Hmmm. Those articles.
Self censorship…and photo shopped pictures of diamond rings.
Answers a second question. The BMW in the carpark at The Martinet.
I suspect NOT a photo shop job….but the over fly was very opportune.
Before the recovery, yet after the police “search” of the area.
Not an easy thing to do.
You’re more likely to get the police activity OR the car under wraps leaving on a tow truck …or an empty carpark, than “capture” the “scene” as was presented.
Almost like you got the “go ahead” to over fly.
Very cosy are “Le Press” and “Le Govt.fr” it would seem.
It seems that Edward Snowden’s disclosures could reveal a lot of things, including Chevaline.
Along this line, you’ve probably seen the news about everybody spying on everybody, including their allies, at the G20 in Toronto in 2010. It’s like Craig said, they are prohibited from spying on their own citizens, but they can get an ally to do it, who then shares the information voluntarily. Nothing illegal about that.
http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/06/18/canadas-eavesdropping-agency-helped-spy-on-g20-documents-suggest/
The Blackberry isn’t secure after all.
Welcome, Bleb. Bluebird, time to dig for worms, it is.
Bleb, 5:18 PM, 2:07 AM – Re that would be (or would not be, or wouldn’t it be – take your pick):
I do recall the Cif thread you mentioned (could have been more than one). Given the huge variety of comments posted on those threads that slip just fine past the censors, it is strange that suddenly, with this one crime, so many speculative connections would be disappeared.
After all, these were offered by people as speculations and/or questions, not as fact. The possibility of Mossad involvement is raised every time something goes down in the world, that’s out of the ordinary. There is nothing untoward from suggesting hit men, Mossadists, Balkans, Russian mob and what not. Why only Mossad is “out”?
Same with mollier’s line of work: Zirconium is used in all Nuclear Plants. Where is the secret in that?
And Saad Al Hilli? the guy was a mechanical engineer, worked on satellites, planes, whatever. That such a person could come across sensitive information, perhaps inadvertantly, should hardly raise an eye brow. may be he did maybe he didn’t, right?
The chopping off speculative comments about nuclear connection, israeli involvement and space technology was indeed suspicious. more than anything, the extreme censoring of comments, which I do recall, more than anything fueled interest in this case.
I was – at the time (which was before I started commenting here) somewhat taken aback that so much energy was expanded n whether or not there was a DA notice and what that consists of. The attacks on Anders7777 were almost vicious, and he did get quite exasperated (perhaps equanimity was not his most salient virtue). Funny how it all went away when he did.
And that’s leads to my other observation – there seems to be a high level of acrimony when speculations are made by some of state agency involvement – and not just on this blog. People are willing to postulate the most far fetched criminal daring dos, even police involvement, but the same people will bristle at the mere mention of state agencies. Why is that, I ask myself? how come no one bristled when a poster here suggested perhaps “Forestry” people as culprits. People were far from convinced but the poster was neither ridiculed nor eviscerated.
That difference in attitude, the huge sensitivity to anything “state sanctioned”, is what makes me wonder. because sometimes (not on this blog) it sure looks like another form of censorship – a sort of an internally imposed faux-DA notice. Why do people feel compelled to do that is of course, the rest of the story.
Pink 16 June 9:45Pm. Good to see you back here – if just now and then.
I agree that this sudden pointing to the camp manager “suggesting” the martinet (or did he suggest just Arnand? Chevalin?) is strange. This much later. Almost as if in response to the many queries by people such as us – and no doubt reporters – just how did SAH + family end up in that remote spot? to me this smacks of another attempt to pour cold water on the “meeting” idea. Eerily similar to TS (Claire’s father/ uncle/) suggesting “some other” route to SM, who promptly got “lost”. On his fancy bike, too. SM, who probably knew every country and forest road around.
I say this beggars belief. Or may be it bespeaks of desperation at the inability of the PTBs to close the loopholes enough to suppress the ongoing interest.
As to the investigation(s) that seem at cross-purposes – indeed, we all agree on that, at least on this CM blog. Elsewhere in blog universe, there are those who haven’t conceded defeat yet. It is partly for them and the silent cohorts, that we carry on along that line, even as nearly every one of us (and probably 90% of the people who ever posted on this CM thread) has long ago conceded the obvious.
BTW, according to my score keeping it is kind of the Brit team’s turn to throw another spoke in the wheel. Though the French team did not get the penalty kick they asked for, they did score a couple of points with that new Bossy timeline. Threw things a bit into confusion, didn’t they?
Probably off topic, but more whistleblowers.
Didnt the al Hillis have airline connections? What did they do in 1996? Iraqi Airways?
And ex RAF Boeing captain?

The whistleblower team, which includes investigators-at the time-from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), TWA, and the Airline Pilots Association, have since retired from their positions. They claim that at the time, they were placed under a gag order by the NTSB, which they charged falsified the official conclusion of the cause of the crash. They indicated they would elaborate more in a Wednesday media briefing.Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/06/18/twa-flight-800-investigators-break-silence-in-new-documentary-claim-original/?test=latestnews#ixzz2WdqyE8p3
Back to Chevaline. Gag order for Eric and DA notice for media? See the result in the Chevalune media coverage.
Btw, both TWA and Chevaline were a Gladio (NATO) event.
And of course we should not forget that this has happened only 8 years earlier. Whether or not on purpose? However, there were Iranian and probably Iraqi victims. Would it make any sense to study the passenger list of the Iranian plane for al Saffar or al Hilli relatives?

I believe that 2013 will be the “year of whistleblowers”. The recent dalse flag actions are making them sick and they are speaking out now. Next will be 9/11. I hope so.
We shouldnt forget that TWA 800 had deep french connections, too, as it was scheduled to arrive in Paris.
Some of the notable passengers on TWA 800 included:
[136]Pam Lychner, American crime victims’ rights advocate and former TWA flight attendantThe City of Spring Valley Village inGreater Houston posted a bronze statue of Pam Lychner and her daughters, called “Love’s Embrace,” at the city hall. After the statue was posted, visitors read the plaques, left roses, and touched the bronze. Lisa Gray of the Houston Pressdescribed it as “shamelessly emotional, a monument to a secular saint and her daughters.”[137]Michel Breistroff, French hockey playerDavid Hogan, American composerMarcel Dadi, French guitaristFrançoise Manchuelle, French historianJed Johnson, interior designer and director of the 1977 movie Andy Warhol’s BadAna Maria, wife of saxophonist Wayne ShorterRodolphe Mérieux, physician, son of Alain MérieuxDan Gabor, winner of the 800 meters at the California state high school championships in 1987.Courtney Johns, sister of DC Comics writer Geoff Johns, and his inspiration behind DC Comics’ StargirlJack O’Hara, executive producer of ABC Sports[138]16 members of the French club atMontoursville High School in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, and their five chaperones[
Unfortunately there is no way to know whether or not the damilies had any relations to one of the victims (see below).
However, the reports both in Iran air 655 and TWA 800 show and confirm the massive lies of the USA, NATO, and the lies of the dependent so called “free” western medua. We live in a world of lies and Chevaline is a HUGE lie! What we have heard about is nothing but a lie. Just like all the other lies. Unfortunately much more than 50% of the western population are already such dull and brainwashed that they believe all those lies of our governments and they believe the liars in TV and the crooks of “free” western media.
If you want to know the truth of Chevaline, start from scratch and reset everything you have heard from Eric as a lie. It is probably simply the opposite of what is the real truth. It is a big lie and smart investigators in these forums did already approve that everything he and the media have said was wrong. Blatantly wrong. It is now 9 months since then and there were more lies than days since then. Dont get fooled by the liars in the media industry. Investigate your own evidence and you will see the truth. It took almost 20 years since TWA 800 to hear the truth.
While no passenger manifest nor list of deceased has been released by Iran, various sources have established that some 290 persons from six nations, were on board Iran Air Flight 655.

Blue…
If TWA 800 was a “cover up” and a gagging order was placed on the NTSB investigators then this will have wide spread implications.
The number of witnesses involved…and seemly ignored is curious.
Maybe the SOP for the FBI in forth coming disasters that include numerous witnesses ?
The cause (if you ignore the “streak of light ascending”) was said to be the centre fuel tank vapours heating up…and then ignited by an electrical short, which basically blew out a fuel tank span and then the front fuel tank spar…and the rest is “history”.
Only one ignition cause could be classed as “likely”.
And that “likely” was enough, it would seem, to bring down a 747 !
VERY interested to see what happens here.
James
Absolutely!
Whether or not related it approves the chain of lies of the western governments, backed up by gag orders and D notices to “free” and “independent” western media.
Conclusion: forget about what we have heard from Eric and media shills. It’s a lie.

“That difference in attitude, the huge sensitivity to anything ‘state sanctioned'”
We think alike. I’ve also noticed that.
I’m also aware of organisations like cifwatch.com (who claim to “combat antisemitism” but actually combat anti zionist / anti Israeli government opinion) It does make me wonder about at least one of the posters on another blog. I think in some quarters media management is regarded as an warfare by other means.
