Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

7 Jul, 2013 – 3:32 pm. Those gooky spookies might confuse you with me. I’m sure I’m seeded higher.

  • James

    Mucker…

You will be seeded higher than me.

Don’t forget I am half Jewish and work for an Arab …and travel the world “one month on, one month off”.

You will be seeded high than me !
My VPS usage means that “ping” me…and I’ll doubt that they’ll be a radar around that’ll find me !

I even saw the crew from Jordan take off and head for Londonshire a couple of days ago.

Guess they headed home this morning…plus one extra pax !

    I’m here, I’m there…. I’m the f***ing “eggman” ! LOL !

I’ll tell you what the “down fall” in my idea is.

It does fit with many “issues” in the Al Hilli case.

BUT…. the suggestion first of all didn’t come from. It came from someone else. And that “someone” I don’t know is “real”.

    And that’s the problem !
Solve that “problem”. Or “prove” that “problem” and the “scenario” is either “very real” or “not”.

    But I can’t do that !

  • James

Two sets up ! But “two sets down” isn’t an issue.

I’ll wait till the “break” of serve in the third… then stick a “trade” back bet on for whatever I can with BetDaq !

  • James

A nice earn on the day. And before the end.

    So back to Chevaline.
Any thoughts on the “second BMW” ?

Thanks for that link .. that’s a cosy, cliquey little Cour d’Appel they’ve got there in Chambery.

Very strong on local Savoyard tradition.

You know, it does all so remind me of Twin Peaks ..

  • James

    Better than an owners tip.
A coupled of grand for a Sunday “day off”.

So since no one is else bothered ….
And the likes of Blue Bird and Ferret and Staw, Marlin, Mochyn…even Tim (I own that name) and all the others (including the strange Anders 7777) have buggered off…

It is time I gave this up.

If “Fat Bastard” as an alleged “close friend” he may have popped across with more “concern” than the one or two strange posts !

So if he can’t be arse’d.
Then what the hell. I can’t be arse’d either.

Onwards. May see you guys around. Keep it going.

“7th of the 7th after 77 years – as quoted by SkyNews, insenstive as it is also the anniverasy of the London bombings (56 died)”

    – my cousin was on one of those trains, she didn’t lose her life, all those in front of her did

THAT is about it really !
She’s saying “sky News” is insensitive BECAUSE Murray won today ?

Or “it” is claiming it is “insensitive” because her cousin (she claims) was on a train !

Fuckwits I say over there. And that is where “Fat bastard” sits !

I’ll stick with “…is 16 1/2 PSI cold pressure good enough at the Nuremberg” ?

    Bye !

    1 x 1 is 1 ! What a sum to go out on !

  • Marlin

james, why do you speak in riddles?

can a sphinx fly planes? what about an oracle?

can you give up the habit (why would anyone want to)?

But you have funny days, and I like funny and I miss the NR-who-used-to-post-here. May be he/she/it – the funny version – needed to be copyrighted for CM?

may be not too late yet?

And who will help us on the plane crash landing in SFO?

Sorry, james, was just trying on your style to see if a fit can be made.

Answer; nope. Still too many adjectives…

Andy murray – single handedly carrying all the hopes of an ex-empire on shoulders

MZT has closed the thread for comments, just as I tried to put one up in response. Darn, that should teach me to put thoughts out at length. was one of my better ruminations on truth, justice etc (it’s Ok, thoughts can be reproduced, copyright or not).

    Wonder what happened.

But I also have reasons for concern.

  • Q

I hereby lay claim to the letter “Q” and no one can use it without paying me a fee: not James Bond movie screenwriters, not the Q(copyright)ueen, not the former band Q(copyright)ueen, nor anyone. I don’t care if it’s part of the alphabet, or even invented by Greeks or geeks, or what have you. Ahoy, mateys, it’s mine, har, har!

I do hope James will reconsider not being on here, we need a reasonable number on here to agree and disagree and help us in different directions. I havent been as active here in the past few months partly due to being busy but also feeling I had little of use to add, but I do try and catch up on a regular basis.

I do feel that on Craig Murray and David Icke(when it was active) our aim has been to try and solve the murders with the little facts we have been allowed and the red herrings we have been fed.

We all have our own beliefs on what is the most likely scenario but mostly have kept our minds open enough to consider other possibilities.

I am sure more information will become public and I hope we can continue to try our best to solve this for the friends and family.

Before this case I had never been to David Icke or Craig Murray and have had my mind opened and no longer believe all the MSM try to feed us. I have you all to thank for that and I would really miss coming here to discuss current news items as well as Al-Hilli related news.

    SFO crash.

    Flaps(30)
    Gear down (Three greens).
    On Approach.

    Engines rolling back.
    Auto throttles pushing.

    Dual engine failure (?)
    Plane “Belly flops”.
    No “break up”

    But “F*cked”.

    Fire (therefore fuel)

So….. “shitty” ice on “the fuel pipes”/ Heat Exchanger (FOHE).

    Was it “windy” ?

    Long time at “K” (constant)
….then “power changes” with the Auto Throttles.

Buy a FV (Five) ! Much better !

  • James

Must get a job at AAIB someday.
    They pay rubbish.

Must get in with the French police.
They pay rubbish to…but I bet there are perks !

  • James

I have to echo Straw’s writing.

    Here has become a “debate”.
Often rough and not for the faint hearted, but also the kind of people that have “passion”.

    And that is important.

Whilst (I think) all of us having been on a “learning curve” it has been (with a few shouts and rants) a good learning curve.

We didn’t get to the “end”. But we “learnt” along the way.

“Angels One Five… tally ho, tally ho….”
As one splendid bastard once said !

    Night all.

  • M

Close down of MZT has one single reason … CM

    Thx for that

    – M (first and last post)

  • Marlin

Same here, Straw44berry. Many facts and events i learnt about here. More about cars and SUVs too.

I assume (hope) james just had one of his “off” moments because we have all been kind of quiet (well, I had my little new hobby horse to ride. Copyrights!).

Something weird is going on – getting weirder by the day. james – it’s worth sticking around for treats!

  • Tim V

    Marlin
7 Jul, 2013 – 6:50 pm you say “Andy Murray – single handedly carrying all the hopes of an ex-empire on shoulders”

Then the bloody Scots go an steal all the glory lol.

btw I liked yur little discussion on MZT re copyright. I agree with you wholeheartedly. There’s a pompous prissiness about some there that gets right up my nose although many contributors are sensible and inane comments make for discussion I guess.

So the A; Hillis went all that way up to Martinet @ about 4 but didn’t stop, turning straight round and driving all the way back to Arnaud to look for a teddy bear, but whilst there all pile out to take a photo and then pile back in, like their life depended on it, then rush back to the lay-by, turning into a BMWx5 on the way, arrive with no one else there, although SM arrives immediately, and are all shot by 3.30?

PHEW! That takes some doing. It’s also unrealistic baloney yet they appear to take it in their stride there.

  • Tim V

    James
7 Jul, 2013 – 4:02 pm – and later posts – perhaps you ARE Jason Bourne?

  • James

    Marlin

We all have to go soon, Re Craig and the fact our “author” has got to visit the old bodyshop for repairs.

But…to very quickly before midnight…. look at how the French deal with “the rest of the world” when there is a problem.

    Flight 587 for instance.
Airbus Ind aren’t totally “honest” in what they “don’t” say.
    Like The Martinet ?

This bog will end. And our thanks to the gut that made all this possible, I don’t think he was ever in it to “write a book”. He is just a good guy (even if some “spacs” never heard of him…guess they never treaveled much apart from getting off with a f*** with a rugger bugger !)

So hopefully you read the main page on CM

And gpefully you want to “continue”.
Hopefully you use VPS or VPN or have a “scratch” Hotmail/Yahoo or Gmail account ? Or both.

    If you wish…or invent one
Slap it on here…as Craig has other issues…more important than some idiots view of copyright…to deal with.

Wishing all the best Craig. A true star. You’ll beat this, hands down you will.

More thoughts on blogs, cliques and ties that bind:

Marilyn probably closed her blogs to comments to get going on the “copyright’ business. M above says it’s because of “CM”. I guess that means “us”, whatever little rag-tag group is here carrying on the good fight (with Tim V celebrating Murray’s win no doubt, high on some kind or another of ale brew?). not sure what Cm has to do with anything. People comment on two blogs concerned with an issue- wow! how unusual!

IMO, the way they MZT has been going about lately says to me that perhaps a private blog would be a better match to the new phase of the endeavor. One that now seems to be less about “truth finding” and more about “storyfying”. Not everyone there,of course, but it’s hard to avoid seeing that a dominant strain/inquiry line has emerged, even if some minority views are still allowed. With a private blog, none would need to worry about someone “stealing” a list of publicly known facts, or failing to credit some conjecture or another, or a newcomer barging in challenging hetherto “rock solid’ perceptions. If the blog were to be closed to prying eyes, there would be no need to worry about disturbances to the serenity of fiction building. It might even turn out to be good fiction – what with all the creativity of people there.

Anyways, for what’s it’s worth, I’ll share my observation (honed by a few years of participating in blogland – including running two of my own), that what is and has transpired on MZT’s blog may be symptomatic of what often happens to groups of people who become a bit too focused on some event (or a hobby or a viewpoint, etc). After a while, given an absence of new facts to discuss, a certain navel gazing tendency creeps in, slowly taking over, as old facts and ideas become hashed over and over again. Yet, even though the case or event that precipitated the discussions has gone “dormant”, those who have been posting over time and put in lots of effort, have become “bonded’ and are loath to let that little ‘family” they built fall apart. So they kind of go “meta” ” (very common in political blogs), as long time posters kind of lose connection to the external reality that got them interested in the first place. instead, they start building a “meta” reality of sorts, full of their own – by now codified – language (cf acronyms!, tongues!), folklore (who is who) and historical anecdotes (who believed/suggested what when). One tell-tale sign of the meta phenomenon is an increasing intolerance to outsiders, who may not only challenge long held views or perceptions, but are not showing sufficient deference to the “family hierarchy”.

This same could happen to people who [still] post here at CM but for some reason didn’t. Perhaps, we don’t have any longer a critical mass for going “meta”. Perhaps the individuals who post are by inclination more circumspect of privacy of others, though more likely it’s in the nature of the “conspiracy minded” to be a bit more careful sharing personal details (including tea vs coffee preferences…). After all, given what we all believe is happening out there, none of us is inclined to take the PTB too lightly. Meaning any of us could be an agent provocateur – or worse (not me! I’m too good! right, Prism people?), So caution being the better part of valor, this plays against over-bonding. In one obvious example, most of us here have not even disclosed their primary country of residence. Or gender, for that matter (right, Tim V? you over your shock yet? didn’t mean to throw you off (or did I?)).

With apologies for lectury tones creeping in – I couldn’t help but share some observations about patterns and undercurrents. Call it an occupational hazard.

Guess what I got this time? 1-1=0 – how about that?

  • James

I “ping” through Madrid. Or somewhere that way.
Just make sure before you write, you ping your IP through somewhere…and therefore get an IP that way.

Had to laugh as “someone” on “somewhere” talked about Celtic people.
I ping…and I have an .ie address. Was that me !

I look from my window and see sea…..and bright lights !

Ya have to laugh ! Jason I am not.

    PINK !

“Thanks Max and for the record I think some people have been incredibly rude as well”.

    Pink…tell me this.

    Did that happen !
Is the remark from “M” true ???

    I quote….

“Close down of MZT has one single reason … CM
Thx for that – M (first and last post)”

As Jimmy Cranky once said…you just have to laugh !!!!!!

  • Tim V

MZT closed down! Well that is NEWS. What could be the reason?

“M” @ 9.41 says: “Close down of MZT has one single reason … CM

Thx for that – M (first and last post)”

So either MZT is more fragile or DM is more influential than we thought.

Or is it the whole French investigative/justice system? I always wondered if it was there just to sow more misinformation or cheer-lead for what ever came out of Annecy? Perhaps somewhere along the line someone suggested an inconvenient truth.

Marlin, both you and I have interpreted subsequent events as a “spat” between agencies unable to tell the whole truth but determined, unofficially,to make someone pay, even if only in terms of embarrassment. The closure of MZT might be part of this bigger picture or they may have just packed up their toys.

Perhaps somewhat more likely is the Snowden/EU/Hollande tit for tat.
