Nestlé and Cadbury are not the same organisation. They both have exactly the same purpose and extremely similar methods of achieving that purpose. Their chocolate products, retail technique, marketing, manufacturing process and ingredients are in essence the same kind of thing.

Not the same organisation
Police Scotland and the famously corrupt Crown Office (the Scottish prosecution service) are treating the Leonardo 3 as terrorists, on the grounds Shut Down Leonardo must be Palestine Action because it has similar aims and methods. That is the Nestlé/Cadbury fallacy.
[Note for pedants. I am using familiar competing brands with different ownership. The ultimate ownership of Cadbury is irrelevant here.]
The young women are being treated appallingly. They are held in the terrorism interrogation centre at Govan police station. The police have repeatedly refused the request by their families to pass on to them the name of the solicitors briefed to represent them, and have also knocked back that solicitor.
It appears that at least one of the women has had access to the local duty solicitor. That is a lottery but this particular solicitor does appear to be well motivated and doing their best.
All this for three young women who have never harmed anybody nor expressed any intention to hurt anybody, who slightly damaged a fence and sat atop a minibus. That anybody involved – judge, prosecutor, policeman, MI5 officer – goes along with the fascist absurdity of calling this “terrorism” is truly shameful.
That the crushing powers of the Terrorism Act and full panoply of state repression are being visited on innocent, unarmed, young, female protestors is a historic shame on Scotland.
The Lord Advocate sits in the Scottish Cabinet. The SNP should step in and stop this now.
I once again refer you to the decision in the London High Court of 4 July in refusing to delay the proscription of Palestine Action. This explicitly stated that direct action is not aggravated to terrorism.
Underpinning Chamberlain’s judgment of course is the repudiation of the Nestlé/Cadbury fallacy. Not all direct action for Palestine is by Palestine Action, just as not all chocolate is Nestlé.
It is the organisation, not the activity, which is proscribed.
To be terrorism, the Crown Office would have to show it is the same organisation as the former Palestine Action. As Chamberlain states, even involving former members of Palestine Action would not show that. It would need to show it is actually the same organisation active since the proscription of Palestine Action on 5 July.
By choosing to hold the women without charge under the Terrorism Act, reporting restrictions are not in place. I can therefore tell you there are no such links. Shut Down Leonardo is a distinct, and Scottish, organisation.
The Scottish Government has to wake up and shut down fascism in Police Scotland and the Crown Office. Otherwise the whole fabric of our society is changing and fundamental freedoms are being lost.

The 4 people who vandalised a plane with spray paint have had their trial date set for Jan 18 2027.
Can anyone tell why the date is set so far ahead. Those tried for rioting were on trial and sentenced very quickly.
Will they be on remand for all that time?
Crown Courts have a backlog of 77,000 cases. Less serious stuff, and I believe these four have only been charged with criminal damage rather than terrorism, gets shunted to the back of the queue, Jury-less trials have been suggested to speed things up…
Have to say that when I did jury service a couple of years ago I didn’t get the impression that the courts were exactly busting a gut. They could save a lot of time by dumping some of the arcane rituals.
“Less serious stuff, and I believe these four have only been charged with criminal damage rather than terrorism, gets shunted to the back of the queue, Jury-less trials have been suggested to speed things up…”
Exactly, it’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
Abolishing juries is a typical perverse answer to a trial waiting list that has been created by the state by prosecuting more people on charges that are Mickey Mouse, putting more people in prison and keeping them there for longer. Bearing in mind that jury trials are rare and that the system is rigged to blackmail people into taking “plea bargains”. Why not prosecute less people, that would un-clog courts? Crimes of violence yes, property crime like not paying the telly tax no.
Three of the four were reported to have been arrested on suspision of “the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism, contrary to Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000”. This gives those arrested less rights than if arrested for criminal damage which are now the reported charges. Deliberate or an error in the arrest?.
As a further question, if these people are not being charged with terrorist offences, why has the organisation to which they belonged been proscribed as a terrorist organisation?
Your questions are very valid. Unfortunately, in a post-truth society they are also utterly irrelevant.
I recall the initial reports were of using “paint and crowbars”.
So what happened with and to the crowbars?
Zionist inspired lies !
Possibly used to gain access through the rotten five foot high fence.
“Justice delayed is justice denied”.
Sky news today as they have on a number of days was showing Palestinians trying to get food under attack from Israel. Why we do not have members of parliament standing up in Parliament to denounce this war crime and what is real terrorism. Instead people are arrested for wearing T shirts. There used to be blasphemy laws for speaking against the church but not enforced for a long time. Now they have laws about driving the wrong type of car on the wrong public highway. During Covid they tried to control most aspects of your daily life. But over half a million protested in London and only a few were arrested mostly later released with out charge. Many Muslims were arrested under anti terrorist laws after 7/7 most released the unlucky few got long prison sentences.
I’m really tired of hearing Israeli apologists spluttering – with their characteristic tones of outraged indignation – that the GHF has provided 50 million meals (whether they survived to take it home – a tent if they’re lucky – isn’t clear).
Why don’t the brave newshounds ask: 50 million meals since 25th May? Hmm. Even if that’s true – a big IF – that’s starting from 58 days ago. Over 2 million Palestinians supposedly left… shhurely that should be at least 116 million meals, even if the already malnourished recipients only get one meal a day? So they’re getting well under 1/2 meal a day, with about 1000 killed and many more injured in the process. Is that really something to brag about?
As George Orwell said in ‘Notes on Nationalism’ “Actions are held to be good or bad, not on their own merits, but according to who does them, and there is almost no kind of outrage – torture, the use of hostages, forced labour, mass deportations, imprisonment without trial, forgery, assassination, the bombing of civilians – which does not change its moral colour when it is committed by ‘our’ side”.

The Israeli government has a policy of Ethnic cleansing and Genocide, this has been meticulously documented and, more importantly is put into practice on a daily basis. The Israeli Prime Minister, President and many Ministers order the ethnic cleansing of 2 million Palestinians on a daily basis, all with the backing of Trump, who supplies the bombs and aircraft to achieve the Genocide in a timely fashion, so that the world is not offended enough to demand an immediate halt to the open murder of hundreds of thousands of men women and children.
meanwhile Starmer and Lammy refuse to call it Genocide and insist ‘Israel has a right to defend herself’. These are the words of psychotic sub humans.
Harry. The UK is an essential partner in the genocide, not just an obnoxious bystander. The UK provides the essential intelligence and surveillance data used to kill the innocents and the UK Cyprus bases explicitly provide support to Israel and the USA, as well as serving as a staging post for special forces. The UK is up to its blood soaked armpits in the Palestinian genocide. Starmer, Lammy and most of Westminster are war criminals.
And.
“Britain is not at the margins of the genocide of the Palestinian people, but at its heart …
The UK is one of the three most complicit states in the genocide, along with the US and Germany. ”

“Greater Manchester Friends for Palestine (GMFP) and Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), which both organise peaceful protests and vigils, have had access to their funds cut off indefinitely by Virgin Money and Unit Trust bank respectively.”
This isn’t just banks telling them they don’t want their custom. It’s banks sitting on their money and telling them they won’t allow them to have it back.
If anyone reading this has an account with Virgin or with Unit Trust Bank…you know what to do. Close it.
Levers are being pulled and we simply don’t know what might happen next, not in a year’s time but within the next few weeks and months.

Every day we are reading that 30 or 50 or 80 Palestinians waiting for aid have been killed by the Zionists.
The reports in western media aren’t even saying that the Zionists claim the Palestinians fired “rockets” or included “terrorists”, or shouted, or had scary look on their faces, or wires sticking out from their clothes. The reports are just saying they were killed. This is now NORMAL. Every f***ing day.
See this report by Sky for example
https://news.sky.com/story/at-least-67-killed-while-waiting-for-aid-in-gaza-officials-say-13399225
The only reason or explanation given for this slaughter of 67 human beings (“the latest deaths occurred” in Sky-speak) is that “The Israeli military said soldiers had shot at a gathering of thousands of Palestinians in northern Gaza who posed a threat”.
Other reports say the IDF fired ‘warning shots’. I had no idea their marksmanship was so bad…
Meanwhile over 900 are reported killed in factional fighting in Syria.
“Factional” more like the predictable sectarian HTS death-squads, ran into organised opposition.
Then the Israelis bombed them for good measure, because they want to keep the so-called “Syrian government” weak.
“Other reports say the IDF fired ‘warning shots’”
I would imagine that the first shots from the machine gun were over the heads of the victims but the second and subsequent, a split second later, were a bit lower.
Maybe, but given they’ve now been charged, and are to appear in court tomorrow, I guess we shall soon find out.
Someone at TLN has climbed down into the overflowing toilet of CommercialPrivateEquitybbc so that we don’t have to,
“The organ of state propaganda has taken to referring to Jihadis as Bedouin.”
I don’t know if anyone posted in respect of this at the time, but in a Guardian editorial posted on their website on July 3rd (and presumably in the newspaper itself), they began by drawing attention to the following:
When the Labour government introduced anti-terrorism legislation 25 years ago, it stressed that it was targeting extreme crimes. “Terrorism involves the threat or use of serious violence for political, religious or ideological ends. It … aims to create a climate of extreme fear,” said Jack Straw, the then home secretary.
Some MPs still feared that a group like Greenpeace, which had destroyed genetically modified crops and temporarily halted nuclear weapons production at Aldermaston, might be proscribed. Mr Straw reassured them that such bans would be used only when absolutely necessary; he knew of “no evidence whatever” that the actions of the environmental group “would fall remotely under [its] scope”.
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/jul/03/the-guardian-view-on-proscribing-palestine-action-blurring-civil-disobedience-and-terrorism-is-a-dangerous-step
And the following, reported in the coverage by much of the MSM, was almost definitely a falsehood and a gross exaggeration, concocted and contrived to justify proscribing Palestine Action and, as such, getting public opinion onside to do so. The following clip is from an Al Jazeera article posted on June 25th:
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the incident in an X post the same day. “The act of vandalism committed at RAF Brize Norton is disgraceful,” he wrote.
The police have said the Palestine Action activists’ action resulted in millions of pounds of criminal damage.
I very much doubt it would cost more than a few tens of thousands of pounds, and probably much less, and take maybe a day or two to remove the paint.
“The police have said the Palestine Action activists’ action resulted in millions of pounds of criminal damage.”
By the time of the appeal against proscription, this had grown to “hundreds of millions”. No doubt it will soon be “billions”.
You’re obviously not an engineer, and have given no consideration to the safety critical role of the engines in flight.
To ensure that they can be safely operated, I expect that they will have to be stripped down, cleaned, rebuilt, retested, and re-certified. Since the group mentioned the use of crowbars and paint to put the engines out of commission, all turbine and fan parts will need to be checked for damage. Even if they hadn’t specifically called out their use of crowbars, one would expect all of those high speed rotating parts would need to be checked for damage / sabotage.
Rather than do all of the above, I expect the engines will simply be sold, and second hand (but certified) replacements sought. Second hand engines go for around $5 million each. Simply leasing them is something like $70k per month. I guess they’ll offset the purchase of the replacement engines by the “scrap” value of the damaged engines.
So the (last I read) estimated damage of £7 million does not sound unreasonable.
Other opinions are available. An alternative view – similarly well informed, but more sceptical – was posted here a couple of weeks ago:
“[ … ] Having a father who was an Aircraft Engineer, my husband having been in the RAF and a son who was an Aircraft Engineer at Brize Norton (now in civvy street & while a big cheese in a Heli company now, he still knows his onions!), I know that the damage DID NOT amount to ££m’s – paint spraying is done in a couple of hours & the cost is, to an aircraft company, minimal. And for the military law people to grossly exaggerate those costs in a Court is, let us say – less than admirable! In fact, it’s quite awful!
Some talked of engines damaged & replaced. Really? Again… refitted within hours and back ready to head out next day. (And these planes WERE found to be in the air & back on their way to Akrotiri next day!) Aircraft Engineers are trained to do repairs in quick order so that the planes are ready to get back to work as quickly as possible – ‘In – and out’ within 24 hours. A plane sitting on a (dispersal) pan is NOT MAKING MONEY! Or in military terms, not ready to go save the country at a moment’s notice, if they’re laid up for days at a time! it rarely happens – and didn’t in THIS case!
And I have to ask – were the engines damaged – or were they waiting to be removed for their normal servicing? Aircraft can legally only be flown for a certain number of hours before they have to be grounded, stripped, parts replaced & put back together, ready to roll out for another few hundred hours. I have to say – I am EXTREMELY SCEPTICAL about the damage done! And thus – the COSTS that Israel is (falsely!) claiming that repairs have cost. Claptrap, I say. [ … ]”

Useful info.
What I can’t wrap my head round is who’s planes are these?
The firm that supplies them is a Private Company and the Livery is the RAF.
Leased to the RAF.
Begging the question as to who was ‘ terrorised ‘ here?
A Private Company or His Majesty’s RAF?
Charlie’s head is still on Royal Mail Stamps but, he doesn’t own The Royal Mail now.
So if a ‘ terrorist ‘ ceremonially set fire to a sheet of First Class Stamps with the King’s Head on it as a protest against The Monarchy would it be an attack on The State or Royal Mail?
There was group called The KLF who once set fire to a Million pounds in notes ( I doubt they were real) but the Queens Head was being Defaced ( illegal at the time I think ) and nothing happened.
But if it was, how would the State approach the legalities?
Damage to The Queen or The Royal Mint?
But the KLF were justified (and ancient) …
I guess we can safely file the crowbars with the dead babies, more zionist propaganda !
It may be a couple of days to wash the paint off but they’ll never wash the blood off of our corrupt government and their complicit armed forces, bastards all.
“You’re obviously not an engineer, and have given no consideration to the [safety critical] (sic) role of the engines in flight.”
Aren’t they the things that get the aeroplane into the air?
“You’re obviously not an engineer, and have given no consideration to the safety critical role of the engines in flight.”
I am an engineer and are much more prepared to believe the commenter at https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2025/07/we-accept-of-course-that-it-is-draconian-and-deliberately-so/comment-page-1/#comment-1082909 than the British government, especially when they can’t keep their story straight.
Interesting that warplanes are so easily damaged, so vulnerable to paint. I ignorantly thought war was more of a rough and tumble affair. That weaponry was made to be less delicate than papier-mâché. But instead of being properly classified ultimate hush-hush, this intelligence has been revealed to all, including enemy nations & terrorists who are surely acting on it.
Surely the arms of the next generation will include aircraft and tanks with fearsome paintball cannons. Perhaps mounted knights wearing cardboard armor will be the next generation beyond that.
Precisely, if the engines are that damaged by paint, how in hell do they cope with ingesting the occasional bird?
We are obviously facing the situation foretold by Iewell and various prescient authors, as well as people whose ‘little grey cells’ still work despite FUCKERS ANONYMOUS doing their best to turn us ALL into zombies, as we can see when we look at the Stepford Wife in charge of the Home Office. But fortunately we STILL have FREE WILL, and it IS possible to change this, if we hold on to that knowledge. WE CAN FIGHT THIS.

Independent MP Zarah Sultana drew a sharp comparison between Keir Starmer’s past and present when recalling how, as a barrister, he defended an activist who broke into RAF Fairford to prevent war crimes in Iraq—calling it “not terrorism, but conscience.”
“That case became a landmark in lawful nonviolent direct action against an illegal war. That barrister is now our prime minister,” she said.
Sultana’s speech came as MPs voted to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation after the activist group targeted RAF Brize Norton base in Oxfordshire, and an Israeli defence company’s UK headquarters.

But it will not be out of conscience but out of political expedience.

They were not charged with anything related to Palestine Action, so the speculation here of such a connection is wrong.
They were charged under section 57 of the Terrorism Act 2000, however it seems it is possible the PF may yet change the charge. I guess we shall have to wait and see.

This may look like Trump’s fantasy and an intended distraction from the Epstein files controversy, but it could be a warning shot. One sign of an impending dictatorship could be, if ICE and its network of concentration camps are re-purposed as a secret police force with a gulag for political dissidents (beginning with Guantanamo). If that happens, it may be time for public figures who oppose Trump to leave.

At last a reason to be proud to be a UK citizen.
I note that Germany, Hungary, and a number of EU countries outside Western Europe are not on the list of signatories, but Ilan Pappé in an interview, if I understood him correctly, said that German academics are more amenable to reason if they are part of an international network (and so such connections should be encouraged, to this end).
“At last a reason to be proud to be a UK citizen.”
Steady on! Have we stopped the spy flights and other military assistance?
Exactly. It’s not what they say, it’s what they do !
Agree that actions (e.g. arms sanctions, economic and cultural boycotts) are also necessary, to stop the genocide and beyond the immediate term, effect a transition from apartheid to full democracy between the Jordan and the Mediterranean.
Even Tories in the Commons yesterday derided Lammy’s latest crude effort to deceive and “salve his conscience”. Kit Malthouse reminded the house of the UK government’s on-going complicity in genocide and told Lammy directly he is bound for the Hague.

Lammy is a lying, corrupt, incompetent. Whilst also being an utter insufferable prick behind the scenes on personal level by all accounts.
The Humza Yousaf of Westminster politics, in short.
Although the entire Starmer clique are up to necks in Israeli crimes, whatever their performative hand-wringing. So it’s not just him.

It is worth remembering what Badenock said a short time ago, those words could be repeated by Starmer…. “Israel is fighting a proxy war on behalf of western Europe, Kemi Badenoch defends Israeli actions in Gaza”.
https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=conservative+leader+intervied+on+tv+on+israel+being+a+proxi&mid=F9A1A3AA7634D2006F4FF9A1A3AA7634D2006F4F&mmscn=stvo&FORM=VIRE
That interview when Badenock blurted out the truth, she encapsulated the real reasons the ‘West’ supports the racist, Genocidal regime. Without Western aircraft, bombs, submarines etc [Germany] financial aid and support in all International venues, Israel could not exist. The German Chancellor also said “Israel is doing the Wests dirty work”. The whole world hates Israel and only Western elites are trying to keep it afloat, this is a losing endeavor. Remember when Ukraine was the flavour of the month with Congress critters draping the podium with Ukrainian flags and worshiping the little green lickspittle. Ukraine has lost, Israel will lose and that third proxy Taiwan does not have a hope in hell of winning against China, not that the west will be put off from confronting China and the west’s inevitable defeat, because US hubris knows no bounds.
“That the crushing powers of the Terrorism Act and full panoply of state repression are being visited on innocent, unarmed, young, female protestors is a historic shame on Scotland”.
Even more important, they are a decisive reason why the Terrorism Act should never have been passed and should immediately be repealed. And why such laws should never be passed or even contemplated.
All governments yearn for dictatorship, that is power without responsibility, often for the noblest of reasons.
Meanwhile, we can all feel safer snuggled in the democratic busom of American democracy.

Government stooges and Zionist enablers now claim that over £30 million is needed to repair the damage caused by PA to one engine on one plane.
https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/uk/costs-damage-palestine-action-attacks-raf-brize-norton-30-million/
£30M to repair a bad paint-job. Wow. If that’s what a clean-up costs, the entire engine must be worth a heck of a lot more. Let’s be ultra conservative – say the whole thing is £50 million.
Now I’m no aeronautical engineer, but there’s one on the other side too, right? So we can double that cost. £100 million, at the least.
Then there’s the rest of the plane – surely a pretty penny involved in that too. Probably as much as the engines, say £200 million for the lot.
Not to mention the cost of training and employing pilots, keeping runways open, fuelling and servicing the things…. and then we multiply that by the hundreds of these planes.
We’re starting to talk about some rather serious amounts of cash here. No wonder the country’s infrastructure is falling apart, and nothing bloody well works – there’s no money available for anything else!
A tin of T cut for the airframe, about a tenner. The paint was sprayed up the exhaust end of the engine, so run the engine up to temp, £100 worth of fuel problem solved. In fact I would do it for a couple of grand and I’d still be ripping them off.
My point isn’t so much the excessive, doubtless exagerated cost of a paint attack, so much as the revealing of the staggering costs of this military equipment, as if we were a prosperous, well run country with no problems when it comes to resources.
Anyone and everyone who has ever worked on UK military contracts will be well aware of the corruption and incompetence that is involved in awarding contracts and implementing them. One would be pushed to find a single contract that has come in on time and on budget. And, the MoD has various bodies set up to oversee their contracts, consisting of civil servants and military, ex and serving, these bodies are all complicit in the corruption and incompetence. To them, it’s a game played with other people’s money for political and personal enrichment.
Yes Stevie, I well remember the tale of the sheared Nuts apparently having been super glued back onto their Bolt shafts whilst servicing one of our Nuclear Subs.
There is a thoughtful piece on the prohibition on the Palestine Action group in: https://ukconstitutionallaw.org/2025/07/08/nour-haidar-home-secretary-vs-palestine-action-the-constitutional-implications-of-widening-the-legal-understanding-of-terrorism/ by Nour Haidar, it concludes in part:
“A constitutional right to dissent becomes a theoretical right if the practical avenues for expressing dissent are criminalised. The legal distinction between civil disobedience which does not cause harm to, or threaten harm to, life or safety and political violence which has the explicit aim of causing serious harm or threatening serious harm to life is critical to our participation in democratic life.
The Home Secretary’s decision to proscribe Palestine Action is the first step in stripping away a long-standing collective right to disruptive but not deadly dissent.”
Here’s an interesting analogy I think:
David Lammy was jumping around in his seat like child with worms this morning on the BBC.
It is not about supplying parts for the attacks on Gazans he roughly said that this doesn’t break UN Rules.
Talking of ‘ Terrorism ‘ if you remember the Manchester Arena Bombing Abedi’s brother was jailed for helpinghis brother to make the bomb used to carry out the slaughter.
Not sure he assisted in putting the bomb together but, even researching materials online can be considered a terrorist act.
He was jailed for Terrorism.
If the UK is complicit in supplying parts for weapons to be used in Israel then by the same rules the UK government are assisting Terrorists in Gaza.
Thereby making themselves Terrorists too – like Abedi’s brother.
p.s. The sofa interviewer was pretty good with her questions but, she didn’t ask Lammy what and whom the RAF were ‘ surveilling ‘in Gaza -flying from the Akrotiri Airbase and what its purpose is?
Better still – once ‘ surveilled ‘ who is the information given to?
Not sure why you are all surprised.
When they done the same to the ‘right’ (if you are still using these terms you are lost) and didn’t rally round those people then you don’t believe in free speech and instead just back your own cause and whine.
Simply put. This has got nothing to do with left/right or any sort of ‘ism’.
It’s about total control from the top. No middle class/ground, just elite and serf.
Once you understand this you will see it is all about control. No matter the angle and it will always be done with a smile.
Worth reading to see who profits from feeding Gaza (apparently Blair, among others)

I was considering posting the link below when Craig recently reported on the alleged jailing of Lucy Connolly. I decided not to because I suspected its rather radical central idea would provoke cries of “conspiracy theorist” and “nutter”; I wasn’t keen on derailing the legitimate conversation on Craig’s valuable blog post.
“However” – there is always a however. The author at the link makes a somewhat credible “what if”. What if the intention is not to target individual dissidents such as Lucy, but instead to create a charged environment encouraging generalised self-censorship. “I’d better not post that or I might go to jail like Lucy Connolly – they’re not messing about these days you know”.
Having now seen Craig’s report of the “Leonardo 3” I could not help but be struck by the similarities. Another ludicrously draconian exile to the gulag for expressing simple dissent.
If you think it’s actually bollarx then kindly don’t throw things at the messenger.

You’re right.
And, although it’s not appreciated saying so here, the same has happened with Tommy Robinson.
They always go for “agreeable” targets first, that way they can slime using guilt by association too.
The judge’s sentencing remarks may be relevant: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/R-v-Lucy-Connolly.pdf
A key sentence may be the first one of section 6: “When you published those words you were well aware of how volatile the situation was.”
There was definitely a deterrent element in the sentence which was way far too long. People have got lighter sentences for killing someone.

Self censorship, the most pernicious type of all, is already prevalent in British society with, according to a recent national survey, 49% feeling too scared fo speak out for fear of someone taking offence.
Is that the reason why you refuse to speak out against the genocidal ruling class?
What is the latest news on Laith Marouf, if any?
Craig posted the following on his x/twitter account:
“I am delighted to say Laith has now been released and is safe home.”
So, some good news in a sea of depressing events.
For anyone interested the Algerian ambassador to UN eloquently speaks out very strongly about what Israel is doing in GAZA at the UN. It’s a YT video about 16 mins long.

2 arrested at Led by Donkeys Gaza protest outside Labour HQ
https://www.thenational.scot/news/25334334.led-donkeys-stage-gaza-protest-outside-labour-hq/
George re your link,
On Tuesday, Led by Donkeys erected a large poster opposite the Labour Party HQ in London, which showed an image of the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza.
On the poster were the words: “Protesting this isn’t terrorism.” [according to the article the word Protesting had protest in bold fonts]
“Officers attended and the two men safety left the scaffolding at around 12.30pm.
“They were arrested and have since both been charged with aggravated trespass.
So no charge of, or suspicion of terrorism here. Maybe parading a huge placard outside Labour HQ could have achieved better results, or would that have been unlawful in some way?
“Protesting against…” we aren’t illiterate Americans.
