Peter Mandelson was employed as a consultant, with some reports indicating this work took place within Maxwell’s Mirror Group headquarters during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

It would seem that the European Union are going to be going after Lord Peter Mandelson.

“The European Commission has asked the EU’s anti-fraud agency to open an inquiry into Lord Peter Mandelson’s time as trade commissioner in Brussels, in the wake of the release of the Epstein files.”

Sir Keir Starmer called him “Just Peter”Brian Red
Yes but while taking bribes is a crime, so is paying them. I hope with Mandelson and the EU Commission it doesn’t become as it is with Jeffrey Epstein, found guilty of procuring for clients unknown.

I always thought Peter Mandelson’s friendship with Peter Palumbo, another life peer (although in Palumbo’s case his father was also a life peer, and, guess what, a friend of “Prince” Charles before he became “king”) was interesting.
Palumbo owned the Ministry of Sound nightclub.
I think we all know what’s sold in nightclubs.

The Epstein files are causing mayhem among many rich people.
Borge Brende, the president and CEO of the World Economic Forum, WEF has resigned on Thursday.

Several important people in Norway are also troubled.
Is this what is meant by
The World Wide Web?M.J.
A horrifying account of how EU sanctions are violating the human rights of a reporter, a German citizen in Germany. He was sanctioned for reporting on Gaza and pro-Palestinian demonstrations.
It is important that such violations be exposed.

Why is the talk, especially from the WEF about Net Zero gone silent?
Rich people can make a mint out of Net Zero, just look at Elon Musk.
Maybe the next big think that the WEF want us to put up with is Data Center.
Data Center use large amounts of Electricity.
Mad Milliband wants us to be 95% Vet Zero on our Electricity supply in three and a half years time but this will not be possible if we do what Sir Keir Starmer wants, to make us the AI center for Europe.
The two things are opposed.
Starmer has said he would rather be attending a meeting of the WEF in Switzerland than being in Britain.
I wonder what they get up to after the Data Center talks, quietens down in the night time, makes you wonder how these rich people party?michael norton
The U.K. might be at the tipping point.
Almost no Coal being dug.
Most Refineries shut down.
Most Steel works shut down.
North Sea being wound down by Mad Milliband.
Most expensive Electricity in Europe.
Massive uncontrolled migration.
Horrible debt.
Almost a million young people out of work.
Roads covered in potholes.
A government that collectively is failing.
All hope lost.ET
AI is already causing mayhem. RAM prices have quadrupled (or worse) in the last 6-8 months thanks to the big AI companies buying up all the RAM manufacturing capacity from the three companies that make it. What might have cost £100 now costs £400-500 if you can get it at all. This is driving up the costs of all computing devices that require RAM and/or Solid state storage. Phones, laptops, computers basically anything that requires memory and storage.
You are correct Michael, the energy requirements of all these data centres and AI compute are insane. It’s the new arms race and will be pursued relentlessly and ruthlessly. Trillions are being spent on it. All the big tech firms are putting all their resources into it. Those firms are mostly American though not all.
Net zero as a concept is fine. Energy generation should not add greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. It’s the implementation of the policy that’s nuts and far behind.

Thanks ET.
I expect we are all now heading for a World Economic Crash.michael norton
This is disgusting, at a time our Economy is imploding, the shameless members of parliament are to get a rise in April taking the charlatans to a wage of £98,599
