So what? Skills drills for governments. Planning and exercising for major disasters makes good sense. If they weren’t doing that it would be a dereliction of duty. In planning a fictitious skills drill you’d pick a likely candidate for a pandemic, hence coronavirus. A coronavirus pandemic has been talked about and worried about for literally decades before it happened.
