Craig, Congratulations. Does the monthly analysis show up any other features (pages most visited, time spent on each visit, national domain of visitors etc).

Is it possible to construct a table of the frequency of posts by readers, either by topic or by number? Why not ask a reader who is tecjnocally gifted and who knows about the use and abuse of statistics to volunteer analytic support?

I’ve been enjoying your 4.45 pm items, especially when accompanied by enough introductory text by you to show why others many find it profitable to read and perhaps comment.

I look forward to the next logarithmic leap in your readership – and to your next book.

So more people have come to peer at the daisychain of leftie nutjobs, eh? As they all hang to the left, eventually the chain will bend round and close up in a circle of mutual pleasure. You just hate someone breaking up your party, don’t you?

If someone in your disgusting daisychain yells “Brace yourself, I’m gonna explode” you might come to regret letting suicide bombers join in.

Great stuff Craig. Your writings continue to be a huge source of inspiration, intellectual stimulation and wonderful humour. Many thanks.

  • glenn

Very good news, and it’s certainly bad news from your detractors here – their efforts have been entirely in vain. Far from driving down the credibility and thus interest in this site, the opposite has happened.

  • Mark Golding - Children of Iraq

Your ideology is stuck in one dimension Larry (not from St Louis). The inspiration and stimulation here is three dimensional not just a straight line continuum with communism at one end and fascism at the other or Nelson Madela opposing George W Bush.

We live in a world far removed from seating arrangements, pro-American or pro-Soviet cold war politics.

This is economic liberty, personal liberty and positive liberty in an evolving valency. This is the attraction; for me this is the epitome of what Craig stands for; uncovering the abuse of power that tries to force people into a way of life by fear and devious manipulation – This is the calamity of America that tried seeping into Britain but has failed. Why? Because the British people have known fear. Our people have seen the destruction of families by the hell of bombs, we have played on the bomb-sites of burnt out communities and we have told those stories to our children. We have had a 9-11 in every major city, years ago.

So Larry, despite your ignorant interruptions – remember who we are – British – impervious to abuse – too clever to be deceived – too strong of mind to be constrained by fear and never ever to be forced into a certain way of life dictated by others.

Great stats Craig, and in summer people tend to have less webtime. I remember you celebrating at 10,000 too. I wonder what your assistant ‘andrew’ is doing now.

If you want to get even bigger, think about throwing a php guy a few hundred quid to migrate the site to modern software with comment threading and scoring. Less admin for you and it could go ballistic with more readable threads.

You dont seem too skint these days – maybe if/when the film takes off…

Congratulations anyway, your blog has been really exceptional.

  • Mark Golding - Children of Iraq

Yes anon. Craig is getting stronger and the site must evolve, but not yet, analysis must include returning visitors, a measure of permanent foundations.

Craig has the tenacity of Michael Moore (I’m sure he will not object) with the added bonus of remaining a pillar of the establishment too boot, while Nadira provides the youthful impetus to consolidate his energy. What a team!

This reminds me of a line from a car advert: “The lion goes from strength to strength!” We don’t need to be statisticians to see what the overall trend is – growing steadily, almost relentlessly, as if outside forces were trying to stop it, but in vain, as attempts at inhibition were only temporarily effective. To construct a quantitative model one would need numerical information about other influences on the figures.

No wonder the security services and their apendages are so desperate to disrupt your blog.

Thank you Craig for your good work. I am a big fan and a regular visitor. Your blog is superb and has quality written all over it, including the members comments.

    Warmest Regards.

Larry wrote “If someone in your disgusting daisychain yells “Brace yourself, I’m gonna explode” you might come to regret letting suicide bombers join in.”

Which suicide bombers would those be, Larry? Any examples? Even one? Even one post from even one poster advocating terrorism?

No. Not one. You really need to make a relevant post one day. It’s quite boring reading the same irrelevant post from you repeated to infinity.

  • Jon

    Splendid stuff – congratulations, Craig.

Regarding the ‘Larry’ handle, the posts are normally abusive, but they make some sort of right-wing, torture-supporting, militaristic sense. Of late though, the posts have become erratic and the abuse has got markedly worse; I am inclined to think that other person(s) are posting using the same handle.

  • Jon

I’ll echo Paul – thanks are due to the likes of Mary, MJ, Suhayl, Clark, Richard R, Duncan M, Mark G, glenn, Abe and many others who often contribute comments as interesting and worthwhile as the head honcho. Thank you, folks.

  • Craig

    Jon,

Yes, A few days ago “Larry” posted comments for sixty hours without any break of more than three hours, and was particularly active all through the US might for two nights running.

“Larry” is more than one person. The version we first saw is quite sophisticated and has a sense of humour. The one who claims Americans have larger penises and repeatedly says he will have sex with my wife is not, I am sure, the same person unless Larry is schizophrenic or on drugs.

  • Larry from St. Louis

Bad imitation is the most amusing form of flattery. If some witless loon wants to chant abuse at you in my name, I’m not gonna stop it. I guess it’s a false flag operation by Suheil and his buttsluts so they can follow it up with more incomprehensible heckling and muddy up any dissent from their own Hamas-sponsored anti-Semitic hate campaign. But in troof they meltdown faster than a 747 laced with nanothermite. Everybody gets to see them for what they really are.

Rest assured I have absolutely no interest in your penis or comparing it with others (frankly that’s your wife job.)

I’ll stop using rude words when nutjobs Arabs unilaterally disarm (or take their own arms off). The taunts only hit the target with humorless loons.

I actually look in on your circle jerks less often than you like to think.

Now go back to reading your Al-Fateh funnies.

  • Duncan McFarlane

Larry wrote “I’ll stop using rude words when nutjobs Arabs unilaterally disarm (or take their own arms off).”

what an anti-semitic comment (Semitic people including anyone from the middle east or North Africa)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semitic

I take it you must think irrational hatred of all Arabs is fine then Larry? Because you’d rightly say “anti-semitism” if your above sentence referred to jews rather than Arabs.

  • Larry from St. Louis

“I take it you must think irrational hatred of all Arabs is fine then Larry?”

“all Arabs”? No, that’s your own idea. To clarify, “nutjob Arabs” = Arabs who are nutjobs. Nothing wrong with eg. the Egyptian government – if they wanna buy arms – sure! Saudis? Yep. You betcha. They know what side their bread’s buttered. But Iranians, Lebonese, Syrians, Arab Israelis, etc. … put down your weapons! Step away from the children and strip off your vests (at least, if you’re a Jihadi-crazed nutjob).

You’re a silly McIdiot. (FYI: not all Scottish people are idiots, and not all idiots are Scottish.)

Is “Duncan” the Scotch word for “Dunce”? Go and stand in the corner.

  • Duncan McFarlane

So Arab dictatorships like Saudi and Egypt are fine with you, but Arab democracies like Lebanon are right out as “nutjobs”.

Good to have cleared that up.

And you’ve failed to notice the connection between repressive, torturing, western and Israeli armed and funded dictatorships in Saudi and Egypt who execute people without fair trial and the growth of terrorist groups targeting both them and us as their allies because democratic opposition results in being beaten, tortured, jailed or shot?

And then you try to tell me i’m the dunce. Try reading a few decent histories of middle eastern countries and some books by actual experts on jihadist terrorist groups – e.g Fawaz E. Gerges – and then come back from the corner when you actually have any knowledge of the subject you’re trying to sound off about.

You must also be fine with being against “nutjob Jews”, like current Israeli Benjamin Netanyahu, who considered serial war criminal Ariel Sharon to be too moderate to be in the same party as him?

After all, i’m not against all Jews. Most of them are fine with me – many of them – like Norman Finkelstein, Shlomo Ben Ami and – are downright admirable.

I’m only against the nutjob ones like Netanyahu and Dershowitz.

  • Duncan McFarlane

Larry wrote “But Iranians, Lebonese, Syrians, Arab Israelis, etc. … put down your weapons! Step away from the children and strip off your vests (at least, if you’re a Jihadi-crazed nutjob).”

The bit in brackets is an attempt to pretend the prejudice isn’t there, but it’s obvious from the main part of the sentence that it is – all Lebanese, Syrians and Arab Israelis are terrorists in your eyes

  • Jaded.

Craig, it’s precisely because of your site traffic that Larry the Lamb (aka the CIA wanker) showed up. You think they would sit there and let talk of the 9/11 false flag attacks occur without disruption? Fortunately for us though, it appears that Larry is a complete dullard and an abject failure. Don’t fret though Larry. It’s all ok my son. It’s all ok…

  • Jaded.

Sophisticated like a lump of slimy turd and definitely on the marching powder…

  • Craig Oldfield

Craig, there only three or four “unique” visitors, don’t you realize? We all have multiple IP addresses. You need to understand this Internet thingy.

  • craig

Marching powder? Slimy turds? Or do you mean Limey turds? You are attracting my specific interest!
