Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

So I am suggesting that a crack special protection squad followed these VIP’s around just in case of trouble and were dispatched as soon as the Chevaline killings were known. The alternative explanation would be far more disturbing for the British Government. I don’t think this has ever been proffered as an explanation before but please correct me if I’m wrong.

I still think it would be interesting to know where Paula Broadwell was in early September of 2012. Why was she wearing that cap from the French Alps resort?

    @ Ferret
20 Nov, 2012 – 11:38 am apros pos 9/11 it is a fact that some crimes are so big they are frankly unbelievable by the public at large. To do so would undermine every semblance of belief ones very nature and world view. It would shatter far more that three buildings but the faith the governed have in their government. It would be a recipe for anarchy, chaos and total revolution in fact. What has been referred to here as “the big thing”. Did SAH s knowledge encompassing a febrile mix of Iraqi politics, CIA involvement before and after 9/11, details of the financial corruption surrounding oil and weapons, plus inside information on aernautics and satellite surveillance and the Iran connection, constitute a big enough reason to remove the threat of this entering the public domain?

The 20 military types being on Kate/Wills cover makes sense but why relieve them for the already dead Al-Hillis?
A bigger plan would have been to kill the al-hillis thinking they would divert resources and then try to assassinate the less guarded Royal Couple.

Did the Royal Couple suddenly change plans because of the topless photos when really it was because of the increased threat to them?

Children are an integral part of these stories:

Probably the NTSB should better watch out for that kind of debris in Indianapolis:

And from the Daily Telegraph on the 16th of September.

“When local gendarmes arrived they had, as protocol dictated “frozen” the scene, not touching the car or the corpses, until the forensic specialists arrived from Paris”.

But Geraldine Chain, the journalist who arrived at the police barrier at approx 6.30pm and prepard her report, said that the Forensic Team from Grenoble arrived at 8pm !

How “more specialist” are the “Paris” team, than the Grenoble team?
Do they have better pencils ? Better plastic bags ?

Local people and reporter had gather at the police barrier.
There are reports (can anyone find the links) of seeing “military types”. What time were those seen ?

The “Paris forensic team” is a hoax.
The Brit’s are informed, they have to gather their team, get to Orly (can’t imagine their Biz Jet waiting, so that’ll have to ferry in from Northolt I’d guess..unless they use French one), fly to Grenoble….and drive from Grenoble to Chevaline.

Then again, the “Paris Forensic Team” may have actually been flown in from London ! Who knows.

But we do know that a forensic team was there. And they arrived at approx 8pm….but did not start work. Why ?

  • James

As I said in my previous post to Ferret earlier today…

The “Helo Story” is a touch of genius.

The helo is most likely tasked with searching the scene…for the gunman, NOT for searching the car for signs of other life.
    That’s just crackers.

But because there has to be a delay…awaiting the Brits to arrive on scene, the Grenoble forensic boys just sit and wait.

Once they are there, they find the 4 year old.
This is a problem. Reporters have started to file stories.

Enter stage left… The helo with heat seeking equipment AND the Specialist Forensic Team from (erm !) Paris ! Miles away !

Perfect. Job done. The wait explained !
    Now it’s public.

High energy laser weapons confirmed on this defence university site:

    http://www.ndu.edu/press/high-energy-laser.html

“With these high-power emissions and pulse energies, HELs will achieve extraordinary thermal effects on a target within seconds of initial engagement. Most likely, the optimal engagement time for achieved effects will be between 2 and 4 seconds. In some cases, HELs may only need to engage targets for less than a second to achieve desired effects.”

HEL weapons are on the cusp of becoming a reality for use across the joint force. They will provide a precise and nearly undetectable direct-fire capability with “zero time of flight” against conventional weapons systems and munitions. HEL weapons will significantly improve force protection of civilian and military infrastructure and populations against rockets, artillery, mortars, aircraft (manned and unmanned), watercraft, vehicles, and missiles in the domains of land, sea, air, and space.”

    Already being tested.

Was this what John Dion Longworth’s Stray Light Optical Technologies was working on, or was it simply plasma light bulbs?

Do the witness accounts of the explosion in John Dion Longworth’s neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana match this?

Whether the thermal effects of a HEL on a target induce explosion, perforation, burning, or blinding, the effects will be measurable and swift. Additionally, the speed of a HEL makes it superior to most conventional weapons systems and munitions. Lasers operate at the speed of light,6 resulting in an almost immediate impact from laser initiation to the target. With a “zero time of f light,” a HEL may immediately affect the target following positive identification….This nearly instantaneous ability to affect a target practically eliminates the time for an enemy to react. Furthermore, with a zero time of f light, a HEL ostensibly can engage and affect many more targets in a given period than a conventional gun.”

    @Straw: Is that border unguarded?

Paula Broadwell was with Jon Stewart on Labor Day, but I cannot determine where she was before or after that one day, September 3, 2012.

Remember the medical laser connection to Saad al-Hilli that was discussed on this thread?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interventional_radiology
    http://www.freepatentsonline.com/5188632.html

I’m wondering if this could also be something Stray Light Optical Technologies could have been working on. Due to my reading about Hybrid Laser Arc Welders introduced by AREVA, and finding a patent linked to an arc welder by Dion Longworth’s father’s partner, the idea occurred to me. Lasers and plasma, plasma and Stray Light.

Could it also be a link to Saad al-Hilli, via medical lasers of the sort used by interventional radiologists?

    Q

Gas laser tube with stray light restriction, patent 3942133

Light that is initiated in a laser device includes a diffusion of scattered and reflected light around the laser beam. This diffusion of light occurs because light in the optical cavity of the laser is reflected from the surfaces of the bore and becomes misaligned, so that it leaves the laser along paths which are outside of the cone of light formed by the laser device. This diffusion of part of the laser light reduces the efficiency of the device and is objectionable in many applications. The diffused light is eliminated by providing a restriction in the optical cavity of the laser device which blocks off the stray or misaligned light. This restriction, or beam cleaner, may be positioned at various points along the axis of the optical cavity.

    Requirements:

    1. A laser device for generating a beam of coherent light, said device comprising a hermetically sealed envelope, a gas filling within said envelope, a tube extending within said envelope and having a bore, a different optical mirror adjacent to each end of said bore and aligned with the axis of said bore to form an optical resonator cavity within the bore, one of said mirrors being spherical for directing a cone of light along the axis of said bore toward the other one of said mirrors, an anode electrode fixed within the envelope and having a portion exposed to the space within said bore, a cathode electrode mounted within said envelope and spaced from said anode, and a coil spring pressed within said bore and having a passage therethrough positioned coaxially with said bore between said optical mirrors, said passage being smaller than said bore and larger than the cone of light directed from said spherical mirror.

    2. A laser device in accordance with claim 1, wherein said coil is formed of a metal having a low sputtering characteristic under ion bombardment.

    3. A laser device in accordance with claim 1, wherein said coil is formed of one or more of the metals tungsten, molybdenum, titanium and zirconium.

    Q

My only logic problem with laser, as far as I could see it so far, is the matter of fact that nothing would explode there. The hit device might burn down, melt, or else there might be nothing left. However, there won’t be an explosion. For an explosion we need either a missile filled with explosives or else we need gas in the house. The laser would not cause an explosion unless there was already gas in the house. However, there are several more easy ways to launch such an explosion when there was already gas in that house. E.g. a simple cigarette or a match would do it, too, or else a “new thermostat” for the radiator that is timed for a certain ignition time.

I would delete the laser version simply because there won’t be an explosion when a laser hits a building. Either Missile or gas explosion are the only two options in my opinion.

  • Tim V

    its a good question James
20 Nov, 2012 – 4:43 pm – just one of the many that the French and British have failed to answer. How did Parliament change the law a few years back on the inference of keeping silent in criminal cases? My answer would be that from the beginning Paris was in on the operation, not necessarily running the team, but knowing what was happening and controlling events. Just an opinion. The immediacy of the order not to even check for signs of life inside the car within minutes of the event all the way from Paris is difficult to explain in any other way.

  • Tim V

not sure i follow your reasoning there James
20 Nov, 2012 – 4:55 pm – “helo” = helicopter oh rite i gettit. heat seeking heli’s only any use if there is HEAT. (strange but true!) i guess the bmw engine compartment might have still shown up warm as with the passenger compartment from three cooling bodies but i doubt very much it would detect indidual sources under the metal roof unless very intense. the exercise was a waste of time from the first and would be known to be so. therefore it is just another excuse/false trail, with which this story is saturated.

@Bluebird: Here we go with the radio frequency again.

    From your link at http://www.bizjournals.com/louisville/print-edition/2012/10/05/all-lit-up-stray-light-co-founder.html?ana=twt&page=3

“Stray Light Optical Technologies Inc.’s plasma lights use a radio-frequency power supply that converts electrical power to RF power, a process that vaporizes the contents a light-emitting plasma bulb to a plasma state, generating an extremely bright source, according to the company’s Web site, http://www.straylightoptical.com.”

He was a genius and had developed wireless electric plasma lights.

Energy savings of up to 70%.

These people are crediting Dion Longworth with the innovation. Sounds kind of Tesla-ish.

As for the destructive power of lasers, it seems very likely from this:

    http://www.ndu.edu/press/high-energy-laser.html

“…induce an “explosive reaction of the high explosive” contained within.”

Could explain the men supposedly spotted on the scene before the explosion. this seems relevant, too:

“Mysterious weapons have a psychological effect,” wrote Montgomery Miegs in reference to the evolution of military innovation. A HEL weapon certainly could fall into this category of mysterious weapons, as an adversary may not know if a HEL weapon is being used or is even on the battlefield until it is too late.”

Yes, could be. once informed “Paris” may have taken control from the get go. And that thows up another question.

If we take it that the murderers happen at around 4.00pm…and the press being informed at 5.30pm, then we can take it that before the “press” were informed, there would have been other relevant people called.

At sometime in this timeframe the French would have been informed to “hold off” their forensic people.
Yet the SOP would be to freeze the scene…and await forensics.
This they did. But they did not go to work.

They held off until much later.

That then is “conspiracy” in the true definition of the term.
    More than “one” is involved.

    The helo story is false.

The “Paris” forensic team is false.

A note on that is that the National Forensic Science Institute (French) and infact the ENFSI are based in Ecully in Lyon.

Yes the NFSI have a base in Paris(2), but Ecully in Lyon must be the “specialist” and “main” base of forensic science.

Eric has entered the “conspiracy”. As the “facts” are incorrect.

    Why ?

  • James

    Tim

    The “reasoning is…..

    A. The helicopter was not tasked to search the car for any other bodies, it was there to search for a possible gunman.

    B. The Grenoble forensic team arrived at 8pm but they did not start work.

    C. Due to the fact that “the news” was now running, the police had to release the fact that they had found another person alive….

BUT they can’t say “we have had to wait”.

    Soooo….they say

    1. We had to wait for a “specialist Paris team to arrive”

    AND

    2. They support this with “we did search with the helicopter that used heat seeking equipment”

The “facts” must be, the police followed SOP’s.
Get the helo in the air and call the forensics in (Grenoble).

But somewhere along that time line, they were told to step down and wait.

    Why ?

    @ Ferret 20 Nov, 2012
    “@NR
“That’s the problem, there are so many individual pieces of evidence of a conspiracy that in total it seems improbable.
“Can’t follow your logic here. Too much evidence?”

I didn’t explain myself properly. I meant that while individual bits may prove a conspiracy, there are so many of them that they confuse a casual observer. It’s like prosecutors that go on and on for weeks presenting every last item of evidence to prove guilt to where they bore and confuse the jury. While the defense only need disprove one part of the story to raise reasonable doubt.

“Did the conspirators themselves plant some of these conspiracy tales to confuse?”
“Again, I can’t follow your logic here. The bombs in the basements are not a “conspiracy tale” – they are recorded fact. Go to youtube and feast on the evidence if you wish. Live video, with booms and shaking. Eyewitness accounts too. Bombs in the basement cannot have been caused by the planes, and reportage of them was suppressed soon after in the MSM. Another fact.”

The bombs may be convincing on their own, but there are so many stories covering the whole of 9/11 it seems overkill, and I was thinking some were fed to the press to confuse matters. Why would the MSM suppress the conspiracy? If it was a plot by Bush, Cheney and the neocons you’d think they’d delight in blaming them, as they did Nixon and crew for Watergate. Yet the MSM is the one that brands anyone who questions 9/11 as a silly “Truther” right alongside UFOers and those who claim the moon landings are fake.

“The one I’d buy into is a missile at the Pentagon, but even there it means they had a team ready to scatter the correct type of airplane wreckage on the lawn.”
“Well, first of all the “wreckage” on the lawn isn’t even close to being correct. Eyewitnesses reported seeing something like a commuter jet at the Pentagon, not an airliner, and with no windows. Same at WTC (initially). As James said, the turn that the “aircraft” pulled off at the Pentagon would have been all but impossible for a commercial airliner never mind hitting it.”

I took a quick look the lawn wreckage and noticed parts, an engine cowling sticks in my mind, whose size and color matched that of the supposed plane, American Airlines I recall, and at that point thought the official story re the Pentagon is likely correct.

“Bringing down the WTC with explosives and the Thermite residue raises the question of why did they need to do that? Wouldn’t 2 planes into the top of the towers be enough?”
“Of course not. Plane impacts would never have brought down the twin towers, firstly because they were built to withstand exactly that impact (actually a 707 but the masses are similar), fully laden with fuel, and secondly because fire has never brought down a steel-framed skyscraper for the simple reason that kerosene and office fires don’t burn hot enough to weaken steel sufficiently.”

“As proof, even towers that have burned for DAYS have stayed standing. And WTC itself had a serious fire many years before and survived unscathed. Yet on 9/11 somehow no less than THREE of them suddenly collapsed or exploded due solely to “fire”. Ho hum.”
“Thirdly the thermate residues speak for themselves (as do peaks in Caesium and Strontium in the residual dust). We do not need to figure out a motive for us to know that thermate was used – it is there in the evidence.”

What I meant to say, was not that the towers came down, with or without assistance of explosives, But why did they need to totally destroy both towers? Wouldn’t two planes crashing into the top have been enough of a disaster, with the towers still standing? Admittedly it made a far better spectacle – something James Cameron or another imaginative director would plan.

“I recall reports early on, when the media made a major stink over the smallest girl not found for hours, “somebody” said that in France police procedure was to freeze crime scenes until forensic investigators arrived.”
“Do you or does anybody have a link to this? I remember that the local police were told to lay off until Paris showed up, which would have meant that someone would have had to tell them, ergo no “standing orders”. But memory is fickle.”

I’ll try and find a link later. Remember reading it, but don’t know if it was press or Marilyn Z. explaining how the French police worked.

  • James

I don’t believe that the bodies were “extracted”…although I don’t know that as fact.

But I do know that the French laws on privacy can be a “minefield”.

So who let the media helicopter over fly a murder scene…and publish photographs.

AND they did not arrest the pilot or photographer ???
That has to be a first !

No information on the gun. No information on the investigation.
No information at all….yet they allow a press helicpter overhead !

You would have to speculate that this was cover for a secret side to him. Or make it up? Only thing would be the S&P party – which in their case may be irrelevant, possibly. This doent invalidate possible tie up between Saad al Hilli and Iraqi food for oil / Maliki government etc? Or any other SAH linked plot. But maybe SM would have been unscathed had he been second cyclist up the Combe?
