Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

Look’s like Mr Tuohy knows how to run a chalet some great reviews seem like nice people too.

    @Tim
It could be PD the witness I don’t think he will be the mayor though,a more likely one is an electrician from Nancy, there are a lot of PD’s to chose from .

Well I see nothing changes here , still all banging away at your keyboards.

Whilst you’ve been doing that I have visited Tel Aviv,Jaffa,Haiffa,Tiberias,Galilee, Golan Heights /Syrian border,Nazareth,Jerusalem, Bethlehem = West Bank/Palestine…yes Abbas was there too.

No doubt some will now say I was on a Mossad mission !!!

I can tell you, very little Europe says about the area seems to be accurate, security was unseen until just before Abbass arrived for the Mass…..yes MASS… then the military presence started to appear & Manger square was divided.
The same Church & square we were in, I’m not sure how well his visit was reported in the UK ?

    http://palestinechronicle.com/abbas-in-bethlehem-to-join-christmas-celebrations/

Going to see the Dome Of The Rock Mosque, muslim armed guards at every entrance, their prevailing presence over the ‘wailing wall’ is why we had an Israeli security check was there, if anyone is cowed it is the Israelis, Islam dominates with Mosques & minarets calling in all cities.

In answer to your question Straw about ‘where I’d prefer to live’, it’s an unequivalent ‘ Israel ‘… where it’s scrupulously clean unlike Palestine with areas covered in filthy graffiti & much rubbish, all those so called unemployed Arabs should get to cleaning up their areas .

Oh & yes they have enormous quantities of fresh food everywhere.

Happy New Year to All .

  • Kenneth Sorensen

    Everyone!

Please ignore this intentional provocation from the Zionist Katie. She is trying to test our patience and good will here on the threshold to a new year.

Her experiences in The Holy Land are naive. Today very few honest people go to this outcast of a country, the worlds last colony as it were. Her views are very antique and anachronistic. I didn’t think it was possible for anyone to hold such views after Intifada 1.

If you ever go to Israel it is important to tell straight up in any Israelis face, that you think this is an illegal entity that should be closed down ASAP for the sake of world peace and stability, and the Israelis free to move to the US — which undoubtedly will be the preferred destination for many — or Russia, which surely could need some. More than one million Russians were lured to Israel by Ariel Sharon’s government after the end of The Cold War, in what just was a crude attempt to offset the demographic balance – something that hasn’t succeeded, because it is today in the favour of the Arabs.

Many of these Russians don’t understand what they are doing — unemployed in a settlement on the West Bank and under a relentless sun — and they miss Mother russia very much.

Welcome back, katie. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and your brain is ready for more input and discussion.

    Welcome, sorensen.
Please leave political pro and cons for another blog. We should concentrate on facts and conspiracies rather then getting personal with political views. We already know your political likes and we know what katie likes. However, i am not here for reading about politics pro and con but to read about facts. What i am meaning is that i appreciate the input from both yours and katies’ political side, but i dont appreciate personal discussions.

Thanks for respecting that and thanks to all who did contribute 2012 in a sane and respectful way to this blog, helping me and others to go forward. We do all make errors and we were all of us on false tracks once or twice. That does not matter as long as we respect each other and our own political views without getting personal.

Mr Tuohy is a NGO, specialised in search operations for prisoners of war and missing children. I highly respect NGO people who are working for the sake of humanity. On the other side, many NGOs do deliberately or have to (forced) cooperate with national security and intelligence services. You cant get contact to a prisoner e.g. in Iraq or to a missing child e.g. in Thailand without the support of intelligence services.

Therefore i thought that it was interesting to know that his chalet was just a bit uphill from that scene.

  • katie

Thank-you BB, I’ve respected others views & think it a pity they cannot do the same.

I see you have been digging away with some success. 😉

  • katie

I find your ignorance astonishing Sorrenson, shut down Israel & make many ‘happy’ muslims, atheists, agnostics & Christians, homeless too ?
You are so wrong in thinking all Muslims in Israel want the Jews to leave……….they live peacefully side by side in tolerance of each other in lovely surroundings.

The place is full of Mosques & churches, it is indeed multicultural & a true democracy, you judge it on one small area the Gaza strip. & the BBC.
Speak only when you’ve been there.

Maybe if Saad had visited his view would have changed too because the Muslims in Jerusalem [ for instance] have a good relaxed life, run successful businesses where anyone can mix freely.
If the Israelis pulled out they would have lower standards of living & they know it, I went into a couple of the Muslim homes & they were beautifully kept, the women are free & many many are uncovered……far more than Tower Hamlets !

From the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) (United Nations).

    21st December 2012

In one of the biggest incidents since the Gaza ceasefire took effect in late November, Israeli soldiers have attacked and wounded five civilians in the northeastern corner of the strip. Officials say none of the injuries are life-threatening.

Witnesses at the site reported that the five were farmers working on a plot of land near the border when the troops opened fire out of nowhere. The Israeli military, by contrast, claimed the five were “protesters” and the shots were meant to “disperse” them.

    24th December 2012

Two Palestinian kids miraculously survived after their exposure to Israeli military gunfire in the east of Gaza valley, the health ministry in Gaza said.
Spokesman for the ministry Ashraf Al-Qudra told the Palestinian information center (PIC) the two kids were in a state of extreme shock and almost fainted because of the severity of the firing they were exposed to.

  • katie

    Yeah keep trying James.

Funny how you believe ‘witnesses’ there…who have something to gain by spreading propaganda, but not the ones in Chevaline .

    Oh the irony !!!

  • James

Almost a month has passed since Israel and Gaza-based armed factions agreed to an Egyptian-mediated cease-fire that ended eight days of intensive Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip.

Al-Monitor toured the northern and southern border areas of Gaza, where many local farmers have recently begun returning to their lands after several years of Israeli occupation.

Note… “after several years of Israeli occupation”.

  • James

From January 2009, after Operation Cast Lead ended, and through October 2012, twenty two Palestinians who took no part in the fighting were killed in areas alongside the Gaza perimeter fence. During this period of time, B’Tselem documented another thirty cases in which Palestinian farmers and workers, not involved in combat, were injured by live Israeli military fire. Additional cases of injury under similar circumstances were documented by other organizations.

B’Tselem documentation shows that soldiers also fired at civilians who were more than 300 meters away from the fence, even in cases in which the civilians clearly posed no danger to the soldiers

The location where the masons were working is here
Next to the chapel in Chevaline is the home of Sylvie Lacoeur and where the Sky News interview was taped. The white car escaped via a different route to the village of Arnand, Doussard en route to Annecy.

When SM arrives at the parking of Martinet, he is lost. He looks at the informative map which is there. He decide to turn back. At this moment occurs something. Maybe an accident. It is provable whom the persons in charge are under the influence of the too much beverage lunch. The persons in charge are reconnaisables and indentifiables. What’s to be done.

29 Dec, 2012 – 8:00 pm thanks for these google refs. I “driven the route” both ways from the signed entrance to Combe d’Ire where road forks either to Chevaline or Arnand both in a vaguely northerly direction. I have seen lots of houses and the Town Hall with the war memorial in front, but I’m afraid I am no wiser where the “bend” is that Sylvie Lacoeur said the white Peugeot approached dangerously fast nealy hitting her, or indeed where the builders were working into the road making it difficult for the Al Hilli’s to pass. Sorry to be so dumb.

“N.B. Agent “D”. “Philippe D.” and a local worthy called Didier. Pure co-incidence. Watching “39 Steps” an early espionage novel. The hero heads for “Killen”. We have “Dead Horses” and “Valley of Wrath” Nothing significant. Then we have Brett Martin and Martinett. Just co-incidences.”

There’s also the French sect, The Martinists, hooked up to the mystic Rosicrucian sect, who are somehow connected to the Illuminati.

“This is the familiar “Joker” mode of secret societies, in which little foreshadowing clues are placed in significant places. Michael Hoffman, author of Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare, comments on “The Method”: “…a clown-like, grinning mockery of the victim[s] as a show of power and macabre arrogance…performed in a veiled manner accompanied by certain occult signs and symbolic words…They brag to us about what they’ve gotten away with…”

This is nothing but a devilish plot by Hollywood to sell movie tickets. Concerned parents and frightened citizens are now obliged to attend every movie opening, seeing it multiple times and taking careful notes on their iphones and ipads to detect clues as to where the next disaster will strike. They can’t dally buying salty popcorn and sugary drinks either or they’ll miss the trailers. The clue “Aurora” was in the trailer for “Sky Fall”.

Looking for prior clues about Chevaline I found only the film, “They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?” from 1969, which is unlikely and a Polish group, “Chevaline” with a song “Under the Gun” in 2007, also unlikely, unless the event was 5 years in the planning.

I’ll play my entire Justin Bieber collection backwards. It’s the very place Dark Forces would stick coded messages today, like they did with the Beatles in ancient times, and with Mozart in an even more ancient era.

Catching up on the news I see more articles appeared whilst I was away.

This Telegraph piece gets near to what I believe happened:

:Last week, The Sunday Telegraph travelled to Baghdad in a bid to shed light on the Iraqi end of the mystery, where local members of the Hilli family agreed to speak publicly about the murder for the first time. They did so in a bid to set the record straight after recent French newspaper claims that Saad’s father, who fled Iraq after falling out with Saddam Hussein, was in fact a secret money launderer for the Iraqi dictator, and that his son knew the whereabouts of millions of dollars salted away in secret bank accounts.”

Saads Father doesn’t sound like a money launderer to me, but Saad ‘knows’ who was & how it was done, hence his desire to leave England for his families sake, he had made the mistake of telling someone what he knew ?

“Like many others, though, Hussain is at a loss to explain what really did happen, and is haunted by Saad’s cryptic email to him back in February, details of which have never been revealed until now.”

I also note ‘the mob’ have been mentioned, that’s where they should be looking…………

I was just reading some old posts on DI and read this Mail article .
I picked out some interesting bits on SAH’s work note also the mention of blackmail have we covered that ?
    …..

One line of inquiry is that Mr Al-Hilli had access to information that would have been valuable to a commercial competitor – or that he had become a victim of blackmail.
    …..

The Mail on Sunday has discovered that in December Mr al-Hilli visited a sub-division of SSTL called DMC International Imaging, which has recently signed a contract with the Chinese to help map the country via satellite imagery. DMC also has a lucrative satellite-mapping deal with Russia and is working with the Foreign Office in Afghanistan to monitor illicit opium poppy cultivation.

    ….

“The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Mr al-Hilli subscribed to the Google Circles social networking website, where he recorded his own movements. This showed that on December 14 and 15 last year he had been working at DMC Imaging, a subsidiary of SSTL.
On December 16 he left the Brittany Ferries dock in Portsmouth Harbour on a business visit to France.”

    ….

Yesterday Claude Moniquet, director of the Brussels-based European Strategic Intelligence and Security Centre (ESISC), said: ‘Satellite technology, along with drone technology, is the new frontier of science and a market which is worth billions of pounds.
‘Competition in a corporate sense is intense, as there is the potential to make a lot of money with each development ahead of your rivals.
‘Mr al-Hilli’s company was also a renowned leader in satellite mapping, and if it was secretly doing this in countries which would not welcome such an intrusion, then we have a possible motive.’
    ………..
(Me)Note the direct quote from Mr Moniquet saying SAH’s company was a renowned leader and lower down the mail comments on the small turnover .

Shtech, the aeronautical business he ran with his wife Iqbal and which had sub-contracted with SSTL, registered profits of just £8,330 last year.
