The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?
@Lizzie007: I don’t think Iran’s representative actually said that. From what I’ve read, it was lost in translation and used as propaganda.
@Tim V: You mean ask the “mairie Chevaline”? Or the chef-lieu? Hahaha! That car may have nothing to do with SL, but it was parked on the street where she lived. If she lived there when it was there, would she say, “Oh, yes, I saw a car that looked like the one my neighbor drives”? (Note the dark sleeves of the man in the van on Google streets.) The photo could be a couple of years old, or recent. Awfully strange if Maillaud and the gendarmes haven’t already looked it up. Awfully strange if SL passed a white Peugeot 206 with hood vents every day, yet couldn’t pin down what one looks like. I guess the people of Chevaline aren’t accustomed to paying attention, since nothing happens there that’s worth paying attention to, or so they say. Some people notice vehicles on their street, all the more so the parked ones with people in them. If this were Claygate, the neigbhors might have written down the plate numbers and phoned the police about lurkers.
Say, do you know if some of the forestry work in Chevaline is done by private contractors?
You’re right: there are many aspects of satellite images. Did SAH share an image, prior to getting government approval for its release, thus necessitating a meeting at Chevaline? Were the satellites cued and in position to catch the assassinations live? Did things get messed up by someone being late? Plus all the questions we’ve asked before, including SAH’s own aerial photography company, drones, etc.
I think everybody on here should take a look at these two vehicles @ http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=mairie+chevaline&hl=en&ll=45.762409,6.219935&spn=0.001173,0.00327&sll=51.013117,-114.088499&sspn=0.541724,1.674042&hq=mairie+chevaline&radius=15000&t=h&layer=c&cbll=45.762518,6.219812&panoid=xPV3RvljX1lClZtaQm7avQ&cbp=12,94.42
This camper van is some strange vehicle and not only by virtue of the decoration. Notice how the window in the side door is relective glass and the windscreen is obscured both with a sunshade and a protruding fascia. If you zoom in from various angles it appears there are two dark haired men inside that appear to be studying maps or documents. If you look carefully on full zoom, you can just about make out faces. The remarkable thing, if I’m not mistaken, both are wearing dark/sun glasses. Its not particularly bright and anyway they are inside a very shaded cab. Notice how close the vehicles are parked to one another despite an empty car park as if the drivers are a team. One of the vehicles fits exactly SL’s description of the retreating vehicle. The occupants fit the description of driver and visitors to the camp site, both described as dark. The camper van doesn’t that is no reason it might not have been used for reconnaisance purposes. This is a long shot but just take a look at the two fellows inside. Seems very strange to me and apparently they are parked up in the Town Council premises. The double gates are basically closed. This is not a quick park up is it or a municipal vehicle. We need to know WHEN this Google street view was taken. What does that picture on the side (chap with big wheel) mean or the two figures on the back door. Not typical surfing or skiing or climbing stuff is it? The more I think about the more fishy it seems. On the other hand there may be a completely innocent explanation but it must be worth excluding at least don’t you think?
Snow on the ground but clearing so I’m guessing it’s spring time. Big pile in front the vehicle so it looks like its been there more than a day. Someone else will probably be able to identify the vehicle. Is it a Chevrolet or get better picture of the inside cab using computer applications? Over to you Felix/NR/Oliphant et al.
…. and Q of course. (Interesting reply btw)
@TimV/NR
Yes, I noticed that crazy camper in the Mayor’s car park – I thought it was an ancient UK Bedfor CF at first, but clearly US type. Quite quite strange that the old Google image was removed then replaced.
Any thought’on SL’s pic – I think it’s her.
Re 26 Oaken Lane – yes, that’s the one. I wonder who is looking after it? I went past it before Christmas, having business nearby that day, and stopped to have a glance at it. Still looking shabby but not overgrown. In fact, garden well attended to. At that very moment, a police car came down the Lane and stopped to have a look at me looking at the house (which had been splashed all over the world’s press!) How bizarre. Surely it must be protected round the clock – perhaps by some of Al-Hilli’s chums who were quick onto the TV screens. Or perhaps some agents (small “a”) are occupying it.

I checked the pictures and the video again (Sylvie Lecoeur)
1) totally different hair (ok, a good hairdresser can do that)
2) different nose
3) most remarkable: different chin
4) different size relations of head (height:width).
I can see no similarities.
Question:
What’s the street address that you are searching on google street view for Sylvie’s place? And why did you get to this address?
I still can’t find anybody with the name Lecoeur nor with the name Mata at an address even near that place. Perhaps Mata Hari visited her boyfriend there? 🙂

Is there industrial/military sabotage at work to discredit competitors? Could SAH have been involved in this with his work on Airbus? Or discovered something wrong and tried to warn someone? Like the problems Boeing is having with its Dreamliner batteries, a few galley events causing smoke but no crash would harm sales for Airbus.

Apperently CIA is said to be one of the four horsemen:
http://www.pacificfreepress.com/opinion/9214-one-of-four-horsemen-cia-in-somalia.html
The four horsemen, signs for the apocalypse. First dies the white horse whose horseman is symbolized with bow and arrow (archer)
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Horsemen_of_the_Apocalypse
I bet that they are using symbols for giving hidden messages and warnings.
Blue.
If you take it there are symbols in play, then remember what the word “a Chevaline” actually means.
It is a “Horse Butcher”. A person that slaughters horses.
Does this then mean, killing/stopping the “four horsemen” ??? !!!
James,
If it is symbolism, then it could mean both:
1) killing the agents of destruction
Or
2) the horsemen killing their enemies
The Horsemen symbolize the “agents of destruction”
The white horse (the first one) means famine, war, conquer and deatg.
The red one, the second horse, means civil war, famine and death
The third one, the black one, means poverty, slavery, famine and death for most of us while the few rich and powerful can live in luxury.
The fourth horse, the pale one, means death and endtime or new revelation.
If there is any symbolism (bow and arrow, white horse) then the slaughter of horses in val d’ire could symbolize either a traitor of the horsemen leaking information or a member of the horsemen preparing apocalypse.
I recommend to read my PEMEX link regarding the slayer of horses and links to CIA, drug cartels, new technology engineers, house of savoie and mossad.
CIA’s covert op company PEMEX was blown up today.
You could go further with symbols !
Try this….
Martin…or Swallow (as in the bird).
A Martin (A Swallow) in French, would be Hirondelle.
A Hirondel (altered slightly but the “meaning” remaining the same) was the fictional car driven by “The Saint” in the books.
The Saint…was Mr Simon Templar.
And of course the Templar….. The Order of The Templar !
Of course when The Saint first appeared on television he drove a Volvo P1800.
Now if Volvo made a “Volvo P08” I would indeed have a “full house” !
I’m sure searching “Petroleos Mexicanos” and the “strategic petroleum reserves” program would bring up interesting results.
If you can’t get it from a “closed” Gulf.
Where do you go ?
Bush had some interesting meeting with “The Mexicans” it would seem.
It would appear “The CIA Vs The CIA” continues !

On symbolism, there is a 2033 address in Sarasota, Florida, like 55 Princes Gate or 22 Buckle Street, London, that is the registered address for many interlocking companies. Some of which were allegedly involved in training the 9/11 pilots.
Troy H. Myers, Director, President and Secretary at Polaris Productions, Inc. Recall the Chevaline Polaris connection.
Meyers connects to many others, as company officer or manager. Some are Air Matrix, Glk Productions, Black Knight Entertainment, Fort Myers Telephone, Psychiatric Management Services, and has links to Britannia Aviation Support Services, Paul Marten, Philip Carey all of Venice, FL.
Meyers was somehow involved in a US$60,000,000 Medicare fraud, though his connection to it is in legal docs only available by subscription.

I just took a look and I see the following.
Old US van – The image on the side looks like an old woman spinning a yarn or thread but I could be wrong.
The van appears to be parked up for winter or at least not moved for a while. Snow piled up in front + the untouched roof as well as the junk hidden behind the vehicle. The white car has its wipers up in the air so perhaps it was prepared for the snow.
I do not see anyone inside the van. The front screen appears to have been covered with papers/card etc and this has fallen away? That would be my best guess but I see nothing that indicated any persons inside this van. If I did see people I would have to question why they would sit in a freezing van in shades to look at papers and maps?!
I see one fella checking out the Google cam vehicle – they appear to be unloading or loading down the side road.
Hardly any traffic going through but you can see a couple of tractor tracks.
I’m not sure on the altitude but It may well be taken earlier than March given the snow at that level and marked as 2011 on the images.
The bright poster on just over the road can be read to a certain degree. It may be worth looking at that for further clues on the date these images were taken.

There could or could not be a guy in that car. Sometimes eyes are seeing something what we want to see.
Whether or not there is a guy in this car is irrelevant simply because this is no live picture. There is no snow on the roof of that orange van but a white thule.
Although I do not think that my eyes are the best, I cannot find any correlation between the Sylvie Lecoeur in the video and the Sylvie Lecoeur nee Mrs. Mata (Hari?) in copainsdavant.
There is still an unanswered question: How did you come towards this address in google streetview. What was the reason for looking at this address/house? What’s the actual address of the house?

Indonesia’s search and rescue agency chief, Daryatmo, said: “From the pictures we’re seeing it looks like it was a total loss.” Sukhoi has already won 170 orders worldwide for its Superjet-100 and was aiming to sell 42 in Indonesia alone, competing against similar-sized offerings in the passenger jet market from Brazil’s Embraer and Canada’s Bombardier.
If the cause of the crash turns out ultimately to be a pilot or air-traffic control error, the effects on sales might not prove too disastrous. But a technical fault in the jet that has already suffered delays could be catastrophic for orders.
@Blue – the Chevaline address?? I can’t remember; might have been MZK. But the videos and Swedish photo match. A number 33 appears in the BBC video of the entrance.

1 Feb, 2013 – 8:33 am “It’s a dirty business but somebody’s got to do it”.
According to a November 1, 1996 article in the Wall Street Journal, Citibank was also laundering some of Raul’s drug proceeds. Vice-President Amy Elliot received over $80 million in Citibank deposits from Salinas. Elliot worked in Citibank’s private banking department, which specializes in helping the global elite set up offshore corporations and other instruments to avoid paying taxes. [15]
Elliot testified during a House of Representatives inquiry that the bank hadn’t followed a “prudent path” in checking out the source of Salinas’ loot. Citibank retained former Clinton Whitewater counsel Robert Fiske. Neither Elliot nor Citibank were charged.
Swiss investigators found that Raul Salinas had over $100 million in that country’s banks which they believed were drug profits. They found thirteen accounts worth $123 million in Geneva, Bern, London, New York, Houston and Hamburg. [16] French authorities questioned Enrique Salinas, brother of Raul and Carlos, for stashing another $120 million in drug proceeds in French banks. As the Salinas investigation widened bankers ran for cover.
Aptly-named fugitive banker Carlos Cabal, who financed the political career of PRI Tabasco State Governor and Big Oil friend Roberto Madrazo, controlled Banco Union and Banca Cremi. He was chairman of Fresh Del Monte Produce. [17]
In 1994 drug trafficker Rogoberto Gaxiola testified that he moved millions through international banks, including Chase Manhattan. In October 1996 a series of drug money deposits were routed from Banca Serfin, Mexico’s third largest bank, through Cabal’s Banco Union to Chase Manhattan in New York. Chase forwarded the cash to Mercury Bank & Trust in the Cayman Islands, a subsidiary of Mexico’s largest bank Bancomer, itself a subsidiary of JP Morgan Chase. [18] Mexico’s second largest bank Banamex is owned by HSBC.

Kermit Roosevelt, the Mossadegh coup-master [Iran, 1953] admitted in his memoirs that SAVAK was 100% created by the CIA and Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency that acts as appendage of the CIA.
p7
No corporations profited more than US defense contractors [from the 1953 Iran coup]. From 1950-63 the Middle East received 3% of US military aid to the world. From 1971-75 it received 60.2%. [21] The bulk of it went to Israel, Saudi Arabia and Iran. Iran and Saudi Arabia were the “Twin Pillars” in President Nixon’s 1972 Guam Doctrine. Nixon and his cronies saw these two nations as critical to ensuring a steady cheap supply of crude oil to the US. Saudi reserves are estimated at 261 billion barrels, while Iran sits atop nearly 100 billion barrels.
… Revenues received by both the Shah and his House of Saud counterparts were recycled back into US money-center banks JP Morgan, Chase Manhattan and Citibank. These banks own huge blocks of stock in the Four Horsemen [Big Four oil companies – Royal Dutch Shell, ChevronTexico, ExxonMobil, British Petroleum] and in the defense contractors which now jostled for position in both Tehran and Riyadh. Chase Manhattan owned Iran’s Central Bank – Bank Markazi. The international bankers were the main beneficiaries of this new oil for arms quid pro quo. In Iran the Shah was given carte blanche on US arms purchases. Iran came to account for 25% of US military sales.
p10
The State Department once called the Middle East, “a stupendous source of strategic power and one of the greatest material prizes in world history, the richest prize in the world in the field of foreign investment.”

Oil revenues financed the Shah’s military procurement program. He agreed to recycle surplus petrodollars into US banks, mainly Chase Manhattan, which his good friend David Rockefeller chaired. Iran’s Central Bank, the Bank Markazi, acted as wholly-owned subsidiary of Chase Manhattan. Oil revenue also went to banks like BCCI where it funded CIA covert operations

On September 8th, 1978, 3,000 protesters were massacred when Iranian troops under orders from General Azhari opened fire in the streets of Tehran in a macabre scene that became known as Black Friday. Two days later US President Jimmy Carter called the Shah to reaffirm his support.

Within a few years of the Iranian Revolution, the CIA was helping Ayatollah Khomeini identify nationalist leaders so he could target leftists who had formed the Committee of 60, which led the Iranian revolution. In 1983 the CIA and British MI6 supplied a long list of Tudeh Party members to Khomeini. The Ayatollah unleashed a reign of terror against the left; assassinating, torturing and imprisoning over 10,000 Tudeh members and supporters. In 1989 many of those imprisoned were sentenced to death.

SAVAK used heroin money to finance counter-revolution in Iran. The CIA allowed wealthy Iranians to smuggle their heroin into the US using diplomatic pouches. Iranian revolutionaries cracked down on the heroin trade, which had thrived under the Shah. http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/New_World_Order/BigOil_Bankers_PersianGulf.html
For those who still don’t believe the US is capable of these deeds:
“But then I also met a man who claimed that he had been held in an underground prison in the basement of the National Security Agency, which is one of the facilities where the CIA has its personnel, and it’s literally behind the presidential palace in Villa Somalia, which is the semi-fortified area where Somalia’s Transitional Federal Government, the U.S.-backed government, is based. And he described to me that he had seen prisoners inside of this and talked to prisoners inside of this basement dungeon who had been there for 18 months or more. There were people that he described as young boys inside the prison, old men, described infestation of bedbugs and mosquitoes, no windows. Prisoners are never allowed to see the light of day, and people are literally going crazy in the basement of this prison. And he said that he had seen both U.S. and French agents, white men, interrogating prisoners, and that some of the prisoners claimed that they had been snatched in neighboring Kenya and brought, rendered, to Somalia. And so, I started that investigation, and more sources came forward when I was in Mogadishu to describe this and confirmed that CIA personnel and possibly U.S. military intelligence personnel are interrogating prisoners held in that basement facility.” http://www.pacificfreepress.com/opinion/9214-one-of-four-horsemen-cia-in-somalia.html
It seems to me we live in a world where even western governments engage in quite unacceptible methods, which only go unchallenged because the the news media is swamped with essentially tittle tattle and froth. It is essential that the general population is kept ammused. Nothing new there: that’s why Roman Emperors provided free loaves and the Coliseum. Today it is celebrity, scandal and the Olympics, whilst global interests continue unmolested on their merry way – other than the occassional high profile death (and thousands of unreported ones) just to show who’s boss and keep everyone in line.
Fair point James
1 Feb, 2013 – 8:59 am which has gone through my mind also. However in another sense all four horses are “killing horses” because they are emissaries of divine judgment, albeit adopting different methods of famine, pestilence disease and warfare (I think I have that right). Symbolism by its very nature can be multi-faceted and in a sense, mysterious. It’s a puzzle, a code – yes a connundrum, serving to add a sort of perverted signpost or clue as to motivation or cause. There are so many semantic allusions in this case, that I personally doubt it could be co-incidence. Every additional one rather multiplies the chances against. But none are certain or confirmed. In the end it’s just a hunch. If the place was chosen for its terminology or literary or classical allusions it is of use to us in pointing to a certain mode of thinking. Do I think the professionals would be interested in all this? No, but it might add a certain frisson to the work if they thought this was indeed a specific locale for revenge or that they were indeed killing spies (“horses” in the trade). I think this would be more important to the “controlling mind” of the operation, possibly deeply emmersed in classical or religious learning. You only have to read some of the commentaries on Revelation to see how the mythical is translated into the real, the symbolic into a means of predicting future events to convince that people really ARE superstitious believers. We on the other hand are trying to get into the minds of the killers as a way of taking us forward.
For example if the planner had four targets in his sights, in a place already identified as the place for killing his “horses” – the “four horses” might immediately spring to mind. The first horse you will note was white and carry a bow. We know the first targetted was indeed white and a keen crossbow hunter (at least I believe that was the indication) and that he was shot seven times which equates to the number of “seals” releasing the horses in the apocryphal story. How would the other three relate to the remaining victims? This would be needed to support any such hypothesis. I’m not claiming it – just throwing it into the melting pot for cleverer minds than mine.
Of greater practical significance is that if a specific place and time were chosen, it would require a good deal of local knowledge and forward planning. Tou have to have a method of getting the intended to that specific place despite any reservations they might have. You have to have previously surveyed it with plans A and B. You have to have your “assets” in the vicinity with suitable weapons and escape routes worked out all timed to the minute and designed to take account of unforeseen events. You have to have a method of co-ordinating and monitoring all this on the day. It’s either that or indeed a lone mad gunman.

Heres a vehicle to look at if you put into google maps 12 Route du Moulin, Doussard, France which was the nearest address I could see ,you see a mini roundabout with a right turn to Chemin du Pralet you may have to turn around to see it I am not sure how it will load ,that house there on the junction has a green land rover type vehicle with a white roof parked outside and if you look behind the house next door there is another green one parked at the back, that road would take you the back way up to Combe d’ Ire by getting onto Chemin de la Combette and then Chemin rural dit ancien/Combe d’ire which I believe was the old road .
