The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

Marlin I ran out of ideas a long time ago I keep following in case something comes along that helps.
This was a cowardly murder of unarmed people with the ladies trapped with a young child hidden and another outside the car there was no way to do anything to save themselves or the children other than what they did do which was to hide Zeena .
Saad bravely attempted to do something which at least would have engaged his mind from the terror ,the ladies were just sitting ducks unable to move without leaving Zeena unprotected and very aware of Zainabs plight what a foul lowlife this murderer is whichever quarter he/she/they come from and,I hope the person/s responsible spend the rest of their life looking over their shoulder .
SM maybe a hero or a victim there is no way to know what his involvement was with so little known about him EM seems to be the only person who has anything to say on the matter and I take most of what he says with a pinch of salt.
By the way EM where was the bike again was it “thrown in the corner of the parking , or in the road, or by the car?
I am not even yet convinced that the bike was a racing bike as the mayor said he usually went out on his mountain bike, a mountain bike would seem more sensible for the terrain he was on and what is the difficulty of showing the bike anyway ?
Blue
The NTSB (and other such respected units) should be sacrosanct.
It’s what the system is built on.
If the actually investigators are saying THEY were gagged, then this opens a major flood gates.
So what of Chevaline ?
Do we believe anything that has been said…or re-said but with an “ever so slight” change ?
There were four dead people one day.
They were shot with bullets.
Two children survived the incident….if they were actually there.
It happened somewhere in France… probably.
Three were from Iraq (maybe).
One was probably French.
The killer(s) were “semi pro” BUT fantastic at escape and evasion !
Any more we ACTUALLY know ?
Any more we ACTUALLY know ?
One of the children was injured.
I’m not sure we know the killer(s) was/were “semi pro”.
Bleb…
What we DO know is…
…a father would not leave his daughter to face a killer alone, whilst he makes good an escape. But that’s the version we are told is true.
We are told that (with no rear window shattered) the killer came from the front of the BMW…which was parked facing the forest.
And the escape route (minus the daughter) was in a reversing arc.
All of which is “bullsh*t”.
We have been “shown” a picture of the “crime scene” taken from the most opportune photographer and pilot combo I have ever seen.
IF it was taken by a National Geographic bloke that had hired a helicopter and that was passing by the scene on their way to the Alps to take pictures of the Lesser Spotted Alpine Hen ….I would believe it. But not the “well timed pass” pictures we have been shown.
Bluebird is right. If we take everything as a lie…what do we have.
Where was Al Hilli ? The Martinet ? And Mollier ?
The story official story is that they were all shot at The Martinet.
The conspiracy is that there was something “going down”.
That is a perfect piece of misdirection. We’re all wondering “what went down” !
Add in a “lost racing cyclist”…and it becomes “more than strange”.
Lets turn it on it’s head.
Lets say…”Who left campsite one…and who arrived at campsite 2 ?”
OR…”what does the manager of campsite 1 say about who arrived there ?”
That maybe far fetched…but if we start turning things upside down and inside out…we might find something that’s clearly “missed”.

Today it isnt easy finding an old interview from 2011 with Hastings, but that piece is revealing and interesting enough, isnt it? Worth reading.
Quotes:
http://www.guernicamag.com/interviews/hastings_5_1_11/
Michael Hastings: An information operations team was sent to Afghanistan to conduct various psychological operations on the Afghans and Taliban. The team was then asked not to focus on the Taliban but on manipulating senators into giving more funds and troops [to the war]. But this unit said no, that’s not right. The military then launched a retaliatory investigation into the guy who had complained. But keep in mind this isn’t Manchurian Candidate. The word psy-ops is spooky. They’ve changed that to MISO, by the way—Military Information Support Operations. What’s incredible about it is that if you look at what psychological operations are, what information operations are, what public affairs are, they’re all trying to influence and manipulate. The key is that the psy-ops guys are allowed to lie. And they’re only supposed to target foreign populations. The way the Pentagon and its defenders have pushed back against this story is to say: “They weren’t doing psychological operations, they were doing information operations and public affairs. They were just helping us spin senators like we normally do
Michael Hastings: You have the general’s PR staff of two dozen, which is already costing us close to $28 million in Afghanistan. Plus the PR staff at ISAF headquarters, which costs tens of millions more. Plus the PR guys scattered throughout the country. We’re talking huge amounts of money spent on the spin machine.A $200 million contract just got awarded to develop software to provide the Department of Defense with fake Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Michael Hastings: A new software is being developed so the psychological operations guys and the Pentagon’s strategic communications guys—and we don’t really know who’s running it—but this is all totally out in the open. It’s this new program that will allow them to have like ten fake Twitter accounts and ten Facebook accounts so you can pretend…
Guernica: So you’re saying people at the DOD will be creating phony users on Facebook and Twitter?Michael Hastings: Exactly. It’s called Operation Earnest Voice. It’s incredible when you think of the power of this. Why not create ten fake Libyan Twitter users and then get one journalist to follow them. But the problem is, of course, it corrupts the entire process. One of the caveats is that [the DOD says] anything they write is going to be in a foreign language so it won’t affect Americans. But that doesn’t make any sense because: A) it can be translated pretty easily, and B) Americans also speak other languages.
Guernica: Another big reason why some think we are so quick to get into wars these days is because of the increasing privatization of war-making. FDR said that he didn’t want any millionaires made from WWII, yet American corporations today rake in billions from the practice of killing people. Does the increasing privatization of war create an incentive for America to get involved in more wars and prolong them?Michael Hastings: Oh, definitely.
Ggg
I dont know whether or not this wikileaks twitter message is legit or fake:
“Michael Hastings contacted WikiLeaks lawyer Jennifer Robinson just a few hours before he died, saying that the FBI was investigating him.”
If true, this could perhaps link al Hilli, the French and the British into a killing plot.

19 Jun, 2013 – 2:57 am. A s we have noted on many occasions, every variation has been suggested EXCEPT state terrorism (can we call it anything else?) Why not. Even the dullest plod must see it as a possibility, yet not a mention. Add this to extrordinary British Government reactions not just once but multiples (I don’t need to list them do I?) that can only be explained by state action, I would say the evidence was pretty conclusive. Yet not one State suggests it? That’s pretty uncanny and shows the secret world has more in common than distinguishes.
Fairly conclusive circumstantial evidence I would say.

Did you see the chilling docu on BBC 4 the other night on Israeli torture of mainly Palestinians? Part of of the subtle shift in public attitude manipulation? Anyone seeing it could not avoid be affected. Was Bossy interview was the British or French “serve”? That little nugget of the “two Euro hole” particularly.
Off-topic “Operation Claptrap” a postwar MI 6 scheme to turn Russian soldiers by offering anti-biotics for VD in return for spying!

19 Jun, 2013 – 8:12 am did you see that list of attendees at that London Iraqi conference in 200 designed to attack Israeli policy vis a vis Palestinians. Low and behold next year Twin Towers etc that Bibi described as “good for Israel” and two years later Iraq reduced to rubble and chaos with a focused attack on its intelligentsia thus effectively removing a major threat to Israel. Coincidence or not? I just wondered if any of those listed have provable connections to our guys?

19 Jun, 2013 – 1:11 pm apart from the inexplicable aspects of his accident early morning (of course it is possible he took his own life) the fact that idea is immediately seeded in news stories by “friends” is immediately suspicious in my mind as it is always part of the script in murders and almost never in true suicide unless and until the evidence is overwhelming.

19 Jun, 2013 – 10:23 pm even Zainab’s injuries are far from clear. We have had all of the following from EricM:
Dead!
Shot once twice?
Pistol whipped.
Orbital bone fractured.
Possible brain damage.
Possibly lose sight.
Unconscious.
Sedated in hospital.
WBM:
Staggering.
Covered in blood.
Unconscious.
Groaning.
Breathing normally
PD/B:
No blood visible.
Unconscious.
Not responding to clap.
Within a little over a week:
released from hospital
moves straight to foster parents not hospital so apparently fully recovered from her severe injuries with no side effects yet despite her trauma familiar family member are denied access!
How weird and contrary normal practise is that???????
Where is the independent welfare oversight to ensure they are at least provided with family contact? How long are they to be effectively segregated?

19 Jun, 2013 – 10:59 pm the BMW was definitely NOT parked facing the wood.
If you are relying on the tyre tracks for this assumption, the tyre tracks were definately NOT made by SAH’s BMW
They were made by a vehicle FACING OUT it is clear to see. (The rear wheels spin. There is evidence of front off side wheel spin as it turns.
If that vehicle came out front first it cannot possibly result in the position or direction of hillis car.
This information i am sure is false, propagated to a avoid the necessity for the killer’s vehicle.
And how can the suggestion that hilli hit mollier be supported. if indeed he was hit it must have been the killers vehicle that did it.
please at least on here, if not in the media generally, can we put this story that hillis car cause those semi circular marks to bed. for good.
@James
19 Jun, 2013 – 7:55 pm
In fact I think we know .. precisely nothing for sure, apart from some pictures of a BMW in a parking in a forest filmed from a helicopter.
Mochyn69
Spot on !
1. Al Hilli had a BMW.
2. Pictures of this BMW (or one like it) stationary in a carpark in France were taken from a helicopter.
3. The vehicle looked damaged.
That’s all I have as well.
I can’t even say if the carpark was a “remote spot” OR a “beauty spot”
If you go with the first reports, it’s a “remote spot”.
Le Manager of campsite II would think it a “beauty spot” as he advised (we are told) Al Hilli to go there.
Hikers seem to like parking there and going for a walk.
Cyclist seem to like the area also (but local ones do get lost there it would seem !).
Also the local remote control aircraft club like it.
People from the Isle of Man like it, it would seem !
…however yocal builders seem to think it “remote” and wonder why people go there !
Confused ? I am !
Tim…
Re the car and the turning arc.
I know ! I am merely pointing out what the French are saying !
The car was in reverse.
There is at least one bullet mark to the front windscreen.
The car is not facing the woods.
Therefore the French say “the killer came from the woods”.
I assume they think he shot at the windscreen then (?).
Making al Hilli reverse (leaving behind his daughter).
Anyway, it doesn’t matter as it didn’t happen like that.
If it did. The shooter would have to run diagonal across, I assume passing (and shooting) the eldest girl (the pax door would be on the inner side of the arc).
Pass the by now shocked Mollier and shooting him….
And then somehow cross the front of the BMW to shoot Al Hilli BEFORE he could engage a forward gear and depart (leaving behind his daughter (?????).
OR shoot through the front pax window to hit Al Hilli.
This would mean running across the arc of the reversing vehicle, whilst bent down to window level….whilst moving his weapon in the same arc as the reversing BMW (of course altering it to shoot the eldest girl AND Mollier….before he’s run over !) and SOMEHOW hitting Al Hilli in the back (or head).
Talk about “Magic bullets” !
More like “magic bullets” and “Ninja amateur assassin” !
If I were Eric… I’d check out the local Yoga Club for a deranged and yet flexible nutter carrying magic WWII bullets !
James (your quote):
If the actually investigators are saying THEY (NTSB) were gagged, then this opens a major flood gates.
LoL!
Don’t you think that NTSB was gagged on 9/11?
I mean, they should be clever enough to know that there was no commercial airplane in the pentagon and they should have known the reason of the empty hole in PA. Or were they all specially selected idiots?
Blue…
Oh yes, they were gagged then (9/11) but no one has come forward.
There has been lots of “hue and cry” but nothing “official”.
Same as the TWA800 fiasco.
But this is now…is “official”.
The NTSB (due to protocol) will have to (be forced to) re open this.
They cannot bury their heads and hope it goes away. They cannot say “well, the case is closed”.
If this “new” route (with some power behind it) shows “official” what the NTSB’s role was (gagged by the FBI), what will the people that say “9/11 was real” have to say ????
The proof of what happened 17 years ago…and a VERY expensive 4 year investigation will be there for all to see.
That’s the “flood gate” open.
James et all FYI
Worth reading the complete page from top to bottom.
TWA 800 was downed on Iraq’s Liberation Day.
http://theerant.yuku.com/topic/2909/t/Does–really-believe–flight-800—shot.html?page=3#.UcKnuyNuvJs
I’ve seen the video,” said the candidate, who had until recently been working at MSNBC.”You mean ‘Silenced’?” said Rosenbaum, a little surprised.”No,” the candidate answered, “the video, the actual video of the plane being shot down.”As the candidate told Rosenbaum, late on the night of the crash, editors at MSNBC had the tape on their monitors when “three men in suits” came to their editing suites, removed the tape, and threatened the editors with serious consequences if they ever revealed its contents.
…
This correspondent argues that the video’s removal from public access and its replacement with a substitute video produced by the CIA “is all the evidence any rational person needs to prove to themselves that TWA Flight 800 was downed by an external ascending source.”After reading this, I took another look at the CIA video. The video famously shows the nose of the 747 blowing off due to a fuel tank explosion, and the nose-less fuselage zooming some 3200 feet straight up like a rocket.
…
This zoom-climb allegedly confused more than 200 eyewitness into thinking they were seeing a missile. It also inspired retired United Airline Capt. Ray Lahr to petition the authorities for the data used to concoct this preposterous scenario.
…
As with the video, the evidence is overwhelming that U.S. satellites did record the events of July 17, 1996. On July 22, 1996, the London Timeswent so far as to report “that the satellite pictures show an object racing up to the TWA jet, passing it, then changing course and smashing into it.”The major American media, however, chose not to pursue this obvious line of inquiry. In the twenty-five most relevant New York Times articles of the investigation’s first two months, there is not one single reference to a satellite. The Times likewise failed to interview a single one of the roughly 270 official eyewitnesses to a potential missile strike.Early in the investigation, the head of the FBI’s investigation, James Kallstrom, referred to the satellites as “our friends in the sky” and suggested that they held the answers to the investigation’s seeming problems.
…
Nor was the word “satellite” mentioned at the NTSB’s final two-day “sunshine” hearings in August 2000. Our friends in the sky had gone mute. Despite repeated requests through the Freedom of Information Act, they have stayed that way.
…
Even after the presidential election, America’s media solons and disgruntled former government officials-such as Richard Clarke-continue to get fawning coverage for every pronouncement on the basic harmlessness of Saddam’s Iraq. The thesis is clear: Saddam was a small-time monster, too weak and incompetent to harm a far-away America. But wouldn’t it be revealing if our intelligence community actually had to answer some hard questions about Ramzi Yousef and the annihilation of TWA Flight 800-the second-greatest mass-murder in American history? The public would then hear of how Yousef worked for Saddam Hussein, and how Iraq’s dictator was ultimately responsible for the murders of 230 Americans on that dark night, long before the devastation of 9/11.On July 16, 1996, Saddam and his lackeys were gearing up for a big celebration the following day: Liberation Day, which was Iraq’s national holiday-the day the Baath Party took power exactly 35 years earlier. Saddam’s portraits around the Republic of Fear were spruced up and the anniversary date was splashed everywhere. That same day in New York City, the terrorist Ramzi Yousef was also celebrating-in his jail cell. He had a gigantic crime unfolding. Like nearly every malignant narcissist brought to trial, Yousef insisted on representing himself. He fantasized that no lawyer was as intelligent and knowledgeable about American jurisprudence as he was.The master terrorist mused that he alone knew how to get a mistrial, and he was going to get one the next day. A mistrial would force Judge Kevin Duffy to start all over, with a new jury. That could set the U.S. attorneys back months, and indeed a delay was what Yousef needed. He still had terrorists in the New York area working under him. He had a home country ready to receive him with open arms. Anything was possible, given time. After all, Abdul Rahman Yasin, Yousef’s co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, had flown in from Iraq only a few months before the blast to prepare and mix the chemicals for the giant bomb and had flown back to Baghdad. Saddam wasn’t upset with Yasin for killing only six people in the blast and failing to topple one tower onto the other. On the contrary, the Iraqi president gave Yasin a house and a stipend outside Baghdad: the prodigal son had returned, as a CBS 60 Minutes news crew revealed when it traveled to Baghdad in 2002 to interview him. Far from washing his hands of Yasin, Saddam had even pressured Jordan to release Yasin when Jordan had briefly detained the bomb-mixer.So Ramzi Yousef knew that he had a place to go and friends in New York. Indeed, he even said as much. In an amazing admission to his fellow inmate, Gregory Scarpa Jr., on March 5, 1996, Yousef boasted that he had “four terrorists already here in the United States.”In 1996, Scarpa was a mafia hoodlum looking at serious prison time for multiple murders committed as a “soldier” in the Colombo crime family. He was angling for a “downward departure” under the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure before he went to sentencing. Yousef was his ticket to a time cut. Ratting out the arch-terrorist to the feds was the only way he could avoid spending his life in the Big House.Amazingly, Yousef came to trust Scarpa, as journalist Peter Lance revealed in his recent book, Cover Up: What the Government Is Still Hiding About the War on Terror. Yousef wrongly figured that Scarpa, as a Mafioso, hated America’s government and society as much as he did. In a series of FBI “302” memos obtained by Lance and published in Cover Up, Scarpa’s FBI handler recorded an astounding series of admissions by the terror mastermind about his plans and his backing.According to the March 5, 1996, FBI memo, “Yousef told Scarpa that if he wanted, Scarpa’s family could be sent to an unknown country, and people there would take care of his family, treat him like royalty with the red carpet treatment. … Yousef implied that another government was involved/assisting Yousef. Yousef told Scarpa that if he went to this country no one could touch him.”What country was aiding Yousef’s four terrorists and was willing to put him and Scarpa up in style? The same country that harbored Yousef’s bomb-mixer Yasin and Abu Nidal and his gang, that gave a house to Abu Abbas of Achille Lauro infamy, that trained foreign terrorists on Boeing airliners at Salman Pak and gave rivers of money to al-Qaeda and its affiliates: Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.Yousef got to make a lot of calls from jail, even to his terrorist “uncle” Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM), future chief operating officer of al-Qaeda. FBI Special Agent in charge, James Kallstrom, was initially happy about Yousef’s calls because his men would be able to listen in. He brought in Arabic translators for the listening sessions. The problem was, Yousef chose to talk in the Baluch language to “uncle” KSM and others, as Peter Lance revealed, so Kallstrom came up empty. KSM was keeping Yousef’s spirits up, possibly talking about springing him, despite the high security of Yousef’s current detention, and if that didn’t work, a trade could be arranged. Terrorists had been traded before, even by “the Great Satan.” The American president, Bill Clinton, was coasting to re-election in the fall. The Republicans had nominated the old-time insider Bob Dole to run against him, and Dick Morris’ focus groups were looking positive on the head-to-head lineups. The U.S. military barracks at the Khobar Towers had just been destroyed by terrorists, but the media weren’t up in arms insisting on a messy military response against, say, Iran. Tough talk about “bringing those responsible to justice” would probably suffice.Awaiting trial in his New York cell, Yousef had plenty of time to reflect on the previous four years. What a run it had been since he left Saddam International Airport in September, 1992, proudly carrying a printed business card that read “International Terrorist.” Flying into JFK airport with fellow terrorist Ahmad Ajaj, Yousef was stopped at the immigration desk. But Ajaj was the sacrificial lamb that day: he became irate when questioned by INS agents, who searched his bags and found fake passports, bomb recipes, six bomb-making manuals, and how-to videotapes on advanced weaponry. He shouted that he was from “Sweden” of all places.Yousef, on the other hand, had been calm and collected. Although his papers were not in order,
…
For his part, Salameh’s phone records reveal him to have been the messenger to Saddam. At his trial much later, it emerged that Salameh had been calling Iraq one or two times a day between June 10 and July 9, running up enormous cell phone charges that he was unable to pay. Salameh was Palestinian; it isn’t as if he had a sick Iraqi mother to console long-distance. But his uncle, Kadri Abu Bakr, had worked in Baghdad since 1986 for a Palestinian terrorist unit funded by Saddam. So Yousef, aka Rashid the Iraqi, joined his uncle KSM to work up the Bojinka plan, with assistance from Osama bin Laden’s organization. Far from being devout Muslims, Yousef and KSM enjoyed the high life in Manila. They went to karaoke bars and strip clubs, dated dancers, and stayed in four-star hotels. They had plenty of cash: KSM took scuba diving lessons and once rented a helicopter just to fly it past the window of a girlfriend’s office in an attempt to impress her, as the L.A. Times reported in June 2002.

WikiLeaks: Michael Hastings Said FBI Was Tracking Him Hours Before His Death
just read this little account of the TWA 800 case. Smells to high heaven (sorry it’s the lowly Yahoo). So a documentary is coming out – more wood on an already smoldering fire.
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/twa-flight-800-crash-investigation-ntsb-141624708.html
The way I look at this, the people who could cover something like a missile strike, could and would do anything to keep the public silent and ignorant. it’s hard to blame the public though when the NTSB, a most respected organization (as James says) put its stamp on the official “fuel tank explosion”. What choice though would the NTSB have if the CIA/FBI brings their full power to bear? so now, the ex-NTSB investigators are stepping up to the plate – conscience is a difficult thing to carry with you for the rest of your life. especially people who have been trained like NTSB investigator to be absolutely meticulous ….
I say good for them.
but here’s the question – why was it necessary to suppress the fact that it was a missile? it could well have been an accident – an errant missile fired during some exercises (that were reputed to have taken place in the vicinity), so why not come clean? well, it’s the liability, stupid, that’s what – huge, with unimaginable consequences in terms of broken trust in the military. So no, they couldn’t tell because the public would not be able to handle the information.
Sorry Bluebird – that article about Iraq and Saddam being behind the missile – I just don’t buy it. much more likely to have been the above scenario – an errant missile. especially since we never found out anyything about anyone on board that the PTBs would have wanted to bring down.
What does this tell us? that the investigation into hastings’ accident will be just as shoddy and full of cover-ups.
And what did Chevaline teach us? that not everyone is comfortable doing a cover-up, or at least not always.
unless of course, james’ intuition is right on the money and what appears to be is not what is.
Why do i get the feeling that things are getting out of control somewhere? and where is that somewhere?

Tim V 1:40AM – no, I couldn’t see the BBC4 because I don’t get that channel where i am (and where am I? did you think I was English nor something? do I talk/write like one? though i am writing an essay about england – well it’s supposed to be comic – so all tips are appreciated).
However, I can guess the content in that program all too easily since i have a fair idea of what the israeli shabak (shin bet) is capable of. not to mention Mossad or the IDF or just plain old police.. I follow what’s being done to the Palestinians, as disturbing as it is. Sometimes when bad things are happening that we cannot stop, the only thing people who fancy themselves civilized can do, is to bear witness. So that it will not go unrecorded.
A site I recommend for you on all things palestine/israel/lobby – it’s Mondoweiss.net (if not familiar with it yet). It’s a US based site run by a very excellent recovering jewish american reporter (recovering from blindness, that is) so there may be a touch too much navel-gazing for your taste. Worth checking out, i say, at least now and then.

The Iraq link of TWA 800 could or could not be significant. I just wanted to mention that link.
Whenever i hear or read about Boeing or aircraft plus Iraq in one sentence only, al Hilli comes into my mind. Are you surprised?
Maybe the TWA 800 event exactly on Iraq’s Liberation Day (birthday of the Baath party) is just coincidence. Chances are 1:365.

Something gets put of control.
I totally agree. Too many whistleblowers out of control. It was just a matter of time. The sad thing, however, is the matter of fact that their tests (SH, Boston, Woolwich, etc.) confirm them to be right on. The majority of the people are already brainwashed enough to believe whatever they say, as stupid and as terribly false it might be. They confirm that the media are totally under control. They know that they can eliminate the most dangerous whistleblowers whenever they want due to perfect surveillance and private “stay behind” killer teams. The truthers on the internet are laughed at because they dont have power and the majority is made believed that those are idiots. Btw, they control the internet, too. They can delete whatever they want and add fake history and fake people as often they want. It is out of democratic control. This is Orwells 1984, believe it or not.
