    When I post a comment I normally take a copy by copying from the beginning of my name to the end of the comment but this copy does not include the date time stamp which I have to copy using my eyes and the keyboard. Can you get your web support person to arrange for the time stamp to be included in the copy, it would also make sense to include the relevant time zone, GMT+0:00 or GMT+1:00.

    I know that it is possible because when I copy a forum comment like this one the time stamp is included in the copy

    Try selecting by dragging from the bottom of your comment to just above or left of the screen name. Works for me, eg:

    I’m using Firefox on Ubuntu, on a mouse / keyboard setup.
