World’s Thinnest Whitewash

by craig on October 18, 2011 6:19 pm in Uncategorized

My mole told the truth – the delay was the reformating of a four page A4 report (merely 2,700 words) to spread it super-thinly over ten pages, using line spacing, large font and paragraph breaks.

It is a work of breathtaking insouciance. It brushes over Werritty’s meetings with other defence ministers on the pretext that, as this was in the context of Atlantic Bridge, that makes it OK! In fact, that is precisely what makes it unacceptable.

It also mentions only the Fox-Werritty meeting with Matthew Gould, UK Ambassador to Israel, in the MOD and fails to mention that they met him at least once again in Israel, or to answer a single one of the questions I asked about how this meeting was set up or what other contacts Gould had with Werritty.

The statement that the Cabinet Office were unaware of Werritty’s existence is a downright lie. Also interesting that it makes no mention of other government departments, particularly the FCO. And no mention at all of Werritty’s Israel Lobby funding or Mossad.

This is less whitewash, more transparent bollocks.

My investigation continues…

The version on the BBC website mentions both meetings

a meeting between Dr Fox and Matthew Gould, the then UK Ambassador Designate to Israel in September 2010.

I understand that this was a general discussion of international defence and security matters to enable Mr Gould better to understand MOD’s perspective of the security situation in the Middle East.

6 February in Tel Aviv. This was a general discussion of international , affairs over a private dinner with senior Israelis. The UK Ambassador was present.

Its also deeply insulting, especially to those who have some degree of perception and political nous. Its as if they’re saying, ‘Right, there it is, a flimsy paper-thin farrago of quarter-truths which, of course, our friends and vassals in the media will take as gospel. So what ya gonna do about it?’

Remember, record, and bear witness, at the very least.

Yes. I fell into the temptation of the very same bad language the other day. What’s being protected from mainstream TV-headline view surely has to be the issue of those borderline treasonable offences you raised the other day. And I’m really not sure that Atlantic Bridge and its fifth column-like activities shouldn’t also come under the same umbrella. How far can a serving British politician engage with organisations which are funded from abroad and aim to entirely gut the way we do politics in the UK? Especially when people like the Koch brothers also fund political movements like the Tea Party. Where does one’s loyalties really lie? It sounds so 19th century to be asking these questions. But all of a sudden, it seems the Tories – of all people – are the ones who least care about national sovereignty.

    Unbelievable.

Yet another “enquiry” that enquires about almost nothing. All along, this charade of an enquiry, and the mainstream media, let alone government PR, has concentrated on anything but the relevant issue which STILL has not been addressed: Why is this man acting in ANY capacity at all outside of the MOD remit, and what on earth was he, and Fox, doing bypassing official channels in order to foster highly dubious meetings on an agenda driven by people completely outside any accountable framework.

Yet again, following the footsteps of Hutton, then Chilcot, and now the Cabinet Office, enquiries are utterly worthless, mendacious in intent and a cynical betrayal of anything remotely connected with truth or proper investigation. The majority of the press needs also to hang its head in shame for failing to focus on what it should be reporting on.

Don’t you get the feeling though, that this kind of whitewashing, has reached the end of its life.

We’ve always been fed this rubbish, and taken it, shaking our heads and tutting and then moving on.

“What can you do?”, we’ve asked hopelessly.

Well now we can blog, we can research like never before and we can spill beans.

We can laugh at them, and they will know they are being laughed at and that we are undermining them.

Can Cameron really expect us to take him seriously when he continues to tell us that Liam Fox was an “excellent Defence Secretary”? Surely he must know that the majority of thinking people are saying “My arse he was.”

Tris: Yes whitewashing should have reached the end of its life, but perhaps the reason it continues is because parliament has been neutered and marginalised, and what power it does have is constantly hijacked by ministers, whitehall officials and the closed circle of spinners and unelected thugs in suits who control, censor and obstruct process. It has to be said that the average back bench MP is now as out of touch as the readers of mainstream press, and through various pressures to toe the party line are ever more supine. Add to the mix the fact that the electorate is still hooked on the BBC and is unwilling to intelligently absorb the kind of info that this and other blogs contain.

There are many blogs which get to the crux of issues like these bad sadly they are subscribed to by a depressingly low proportion of the population. The majority of the electorate is fed, and willingly consumes, a vast amount of anodyne reporting which it accepts without much questioning.

Why would Israel want to influence the UK? Is it because the Arab Spring scares the shit out of them?
Very possibly. All the old certainties are crumbling, among them Israel’s right to permanently subjugate the Palestinian people.
These are dangerous times for Israel. Which means dangerous times for us all.
Let’s hope they realise one simple truth: violence never wins. Not in the long run.

‘… a vast apparatus of permanent unelected Government exists. This permanent Government consists of senior civil servants, intelligence and security officers, key figures in certain city and financial institutions (including Lloyds of London), key industrialists and directors of major monopolistic companies, senior politicians.’ Gerald James.

If we take the hypothesis that Jack Straw is a liar, then even he confirms this in,
‘Unless we all start to believe in conspiracy theories and that the officials are lying, that I am lying, that behind this there is some kind of secret state which is in league with some dark forces in the United States, and also let me say, we believe that Secretary Rice is lying, there simply is no truth in the claims that the United Kingdom has been involved in rendition full stop, because we have not been, ……’

I don’t really think hypothesis is necessary in view of

I do think public awareness that western governments aren’t serving those that elected them is reaching a tipping point. After fox, there a lot of new information in the public domain concerning the Israel backed british political system, which is going to help further that awareness.

What is needed is to convert this awareness into action and keep the pressure firmly on those doing the bidding of the unseen elites. Email them, talk to them; ask questions of our representatives.

Who is driving the bus? Try the Rothschilds who effectively founded Israel, the Rockerfellers, tHe Warburgs, and other super-rich dynasty’s with connections to each other, with their cohorts and lackeys in positions of power throughout history. They are the kingmakers and manipulate people into key positions in government such as leader or chancellor or defence minister. They own the big banks, the multinationals, big pharma , monsanto, orchestrate wars, play one country off another whilst profiting from the conflicts. They operate loose networks of inluence whereby those lower down the chain such as politicians are selected, co-opted, duped, persuaded into promoting certain policies or agendas. Many politicians are unaware that they are being used as a means to an end.

National sovereignty and self reliance of nations has been systematically undermined by creation of debt and unscrupulous globalisation. And distinct national identities diluted by mass immigration and unfettered consumerism. Modus operandi for this stealthy centralisation of power into the hands of a few? Lies and deception in myriad forms.

Our ally, our answer, our power? Truth. Its breaking out bigtime at last. We grow it, spread it, nurture it and protect it. It is bringing us together and exposing the divide and rule- ers

To me it’s quite clear Werrity is a member of MI6 charged with looking after the economic security of the country and his role as Fox’s side kick was to be positioned to get in as much business as possible to support the permanent government.

    *
If this is correct, what’s to be excited about?*

According to this interpretation, Werrity was undertaking a public service and Fox was cooperating with him, as was in the public interest.
    *
Well done Mr. Werrity and Mr. Fox.
    *
As for the ideas that Werrity was an Israeli agent, so what? We know Cameroon, as a member in good standing of Con Friends of Israel, is an Israeli agent, just like Clogg and Minibandit. So why not have a Mossad man attending Fox’s meetings with representatives of Israel?
    *
To accept that Werrity or Fox committed treason, we need to know what they did that harmed the British interest and what evidence there is that such action was undertaken with treasonous intent.

To whitewash is a metaphor meaning to gloss over or cover up vices, crimes or scandals or to exonerate by means of a perfunctory investigation or through biased presentation of data. It is especially used in the context of corporations, governments or other organizations.

Lebedev’s Evening Standard are giving Werritty a new ‘persona’ here. Wonder why that should be? It’s like a soap.
    .
‘Mr Werritty also lived rent-free in Dr Fox’s taxpayer-funded flat in Southwark between 2002 and 2003 and was best man at his wedding to Jesme Baird in 2005.
    .
After leaving that flat, he began a brief relationship with Ann Dahl Nielsen, a secretary at Danscotia Consulting, one of the companies run by Mr Werritty.
    .
Within a year of Dr Fox’s move to the Tory shadow defence portfolio in late 2005, Mr Werritty was made a director of a company known as Security Futures and used his mentor’s London address as his point of contact. The company has since been dissolved.
    .
According to the electoral roll, he now lives in a £700,000 Westminster flat with Sarita Bingeman, 33, a campaigner on international development, who also has links to Dr Fox. She is a committee member of The Poppy Ball, a £500-a-head fundraiser for the Royal British Legion. Dr Fox is a patron of the event.’

I’ve been trying to get information on the Atlantic Bridge and its dealings. It’s own website is down, presumably because of findings from the Charity Commission, and it is not possible to get an earlier snapshot of any of its pages. I was able to find this on Director of Operations Kara Watts from an annual exhibitors (ALEC) website:
    .

The Atlantic Bridge is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization founded by Dr. Liam Fox MP, current British Conservative Shadow Secretary for Defense. The Atlantic Bridge seeks to nurture, strengthen and promote the special partnership that exists between the UK and U.S. by reinvigorating the network of conservative links that underpinned the Thatcher-Reagan relationship of the 1980’s.

    Business Phone: (0)20 7219 2617
    E-mail: kara.watt@theatlanticbridge.com
    .
Even the findings of the Charity Commission’s report is not available.
    .
    http://www.charitycommission.gov.uk/RSS/News/pr_atlanticb.aspx
    .
There is a link to the Atlantic Bridge Education and Research Team which has been removed. By whom? To what ends? Surely this information should be available! Somebody is hiding something and hopefully it will bring down other members of the shady Atlantic Bridge ‘charity’, like William Hague, George Osboren, Michael Gove, et al. They should all be asked a simple question: “What do you understand about the meaning of charity?”

Murdoch’s media will do its bit, as will the BBC and the legions of scurrying minions to bamboozle the public with the next show. Gadaffi’s slaughter has in fact already partly done so.

The danger is that David Cameron and most of the cabinet are also similar foxy creatures. That should give cause for concern to all serving soldiers, and indeed to the rest of us.
