Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

    Good find, Q.

I was a little bit shocked by that quote in your latest link:

Purdue Park (IN): “We quickly moved from using drones just for data collection to weaponizing them, and we quickly moved from battlefield use of drones to killing people beyond the lines of any battlefields,” O’Connell says. “So what will keep us from using them with other crimes and in other locations, including the U.S.? In the civilian context, that is something we should definitely be concerned about.”

    Q thats interesting.
Oddly interesting as it throws a different light on our case.
    Military..or private interest.

The bribe to the Iraq Govt seems good, but reading up on it, everyone “should” know that Iraq is now hand in glove with Iran (parts of the Govt at least).

Would you get killed for that ?I think we are behind the curve again.

Would a “we’re in with Iran” revelation kill off Iraqi support ? I doubt it.

So what is the missing link…we are missing ??????

    Q

    They are. I agree totally
And if this happened in Iraqville, it may never have hit the papers.

But so far we have lots of possible connections, but no direct link.

We know two places Sa’ad worked before….and that’s it.
We know Mollier was pretty much “work class”…that’s it.
We know WBM had accountants that….work with adventerous people.

    We can’t find the link.

Arabic forums are “suggesting” a link…but that’s just “hear say”.
Sa’ad had disks on the destruction of a tomb and that Iraq was now hand in glove with Iran !

But then again, that maybe news to many.
We just are looking for the BIG thing ?

We are heading to what seems World War III
Did Sa’ad know something of this “doomsday” ????

  • Q

Remember when the stun gun/Taser was found in Saad al-Hilli’s home and I asked if it was there as part of research he was doing for his job? Interesting it is to find that police forces may arm drones with stun weapons/Tasers.

We do know that SAH worked in the aviation industry in addition to his work with satellites.

It’s hard to get direct links in this arena:

Q: “” IF “” WBM is acutally involved in the case- we’ll most probably will never know that for sure- as he’ll be protected and sheltered by those who told him what to do and say…. but unfortunately – he was a bad “student/pupil – and actor as well….
now THEY have huge troubles to make us believe what happenend….
(Sometimes I feel somehow sorry for EM- dealing with that and being some kind of a patsy/scapegoat.

For my part, I still thinks, there had been two things crossing at the same time-
cointidentally. Onr thing has to do with AH’s job(s) and the other thing with Saddam’s money.
So, may be at least in one case EM is telling the truth:
SM being at the wrong time at the wrong place ??
Got involved just because he wanted to be any help eg. for little Zainab….

This makes me wonder if she visited the French Alps a little more recently. The resort at Avioraz has lots to do in the summer and fall months.

“Recalled to active duty shortly after the terrorist attacks of Sept 11, 2001, Paula was assigned as a special operations command intelligence planner in Europe. Her role included planning of strikes on counter-terrorist targets in Africa, the Caucuses region and Afghanistan. She seized the opportunity to expand her physical skill by engaging in several self-defense and combative courses, and earning Airborne qualifications from four countries.”

Most interesting thanx for that Shelo
Houston police received a call 30 minutes later of shots fired in the complex of the two-story townhouse where Bagherzadeh lived. Officers found her slumped over the steering wheel of her car outside a nearby garage door, the car’s front wheels still spinning, says Padilla, the investigator in the case. Her assailant fired four shots through the passenger-side window. One of them struck Bagherzadeh in the head, killing her instantly, he says. Her purse, jewelry, iPhone and wallet full of credit cards were left untouched in the car.

    lol spinning wheels again..

Where does that sah photo come from?

The logo could only be field hockey or skiing.

The word on the t-shirt is hard to read.

Skiles Club is my best guess. But that makes no sense.

On the picture he wears a yellow glove. Definitely no golf glove. Field hockey glove?

    My 2 cents.

Leonard is German. He did not go to school in USA . I read his text on the dating site. He writes German translated into English. He writes words as he had heard the people spelling them while talking to each other. No real education. The grammar he had used is German.

Paula Broadwell is also German. At least her father is German. Her father’s name sounds East German (most likely ex-GDR origin) but i could be wrong here.

“I was tryng to blow this up a tad to see what club is referenced Saads shirt. As For Gary looks rather old to be a student..
I’m into martial arts so I can’t tell if that a lodge, or club. hocky sticks or skis…”
    http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc191/sys_config/GAandSH1997.gif

SAH’s logo reads “skiing” but the sticks do look like field hockey or lacrosse. Maybe they are old cross-country skis or some such that represent when the club was founded.

Why do you say Gary was a student? Even if he was, some companies require people to take certain college courses for eligibility for promotion.

Check out the watches both of them are wearing. They look to be thin, discreet, expensive styles (even if replicas). Don’t know the fashion in England, but most tech people I know wear something heavier – like diver’s, surfers, runners style, and the sales crew are all heavy Rolexes, even if imitations. The discreet styles would be company owners, directors, investors, Russian billionaires (those are reals ones). 🙂
