Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

I am pretty sure that this was with the British guy who has a houson on Combe d’Ire.
Unfortunately i forgot the name of that guy. The first letter was “T” and it was a short name. ” Trewt” or similar but his name did not sound very British.
It was discussed in october or november on CM.

Somebody found a forum where he communicates with cyclists who should have visited him for a drink in his Combe d’Ire house. I am sure that i had searched background for that guy as his house was pretty close to that scene. We did even post links with pictures taken from the inside and outside of his house. Can somebody remember his name?

I would strongly suggest to read the latest McAfee blog. I do not know whether or not he says the truth, but if he is in the right track, then this is hot stuff with Hezbollah in Middle America with links to an Australian guy with initials WBM.

Whether or not he speaks truth, it is an exciting thriller.

NR 9.26 Here’s a bit more of that Hebrew translation:

“Apparently the first very serious mistake was made when Zygier was instructed to get three more Australian passports under different names. That is what provoked the suspicions against him (in Australia, a land of immigration, one can take out a passport with a different name once a year). Koutsoukis claims that in 2009 he received information about Zygier from the Australian intelligence agency, and it would not be difficult for someone with access to certain databases to find additional information. The blogger Yehuda Blau discovered even after the report on Ben Zygier was broadcast on Australian television “that X had a profile page on the Pipl website – that he owned an Israeli company – but that page was removed from the Web before the publication of the investigation in Australia. It was very surprising. Then, through the Google cache, I found that the page had existed on 28 January, and that X lived in Milan in Italy, and it turned out that someone had tried to conceal that important detail and deleted the page. He did not imagine that someone would dig there and find what had been concealed.”

With the information that Zygier lived in Italy, it is a simple matter to access the database of the Italian registry of companies and find out if Zygier was active in a company and what that company did. In other words, such facts could be found with relative ease without Zeigler telling the Australians anything.”

Even some Israeli’s are of the opinion he was murdered apparently. Was this done by some rogue element? Unlikely I should have thought. If not it would require TOP Mossad and political approval. I sincerely hope that now the news is out of the bag, at least Australia will prove its democratic credentials, and press Israel on the matter, or it too in hock to the pernicious secret network?

BB 10.04 Now that is an interesting connection for such an obscure organisation isn’t it? And all these orphan caring men around? Perhaps all is above board and “Mr Iraq Orphans” is a wholly philanthropic and humanitarian organisation with only the welfare of the orphan at heart. After all the western powers have ensured there are plenty of them. Perhaps we should discover more about it?

What is so interesting on Mr.Iraq orphans is the matter of fact that we found a British guy some months ago who has a summer house on Combe d’Ire very close to the location of the assassination and that this guy claims that he is some kind of manager of Mr.Iraq orphans. I forgot his name but it was a short, unusual British name starting with “T”. Maybe somebody can help and find this here. I remember that i mentioned Mr.Iraq orphans in this blog together with his name. He mentioned in a british forum that he did invite cyclists passing by on Combe d’Ire. All that was cited here before. We just need to find it again.

We then would have somebody who is most likely a relative of Saad, living in Jordan, being connected as the founder of an orphans project in Iraq with a British guy who lives on Combe d’Ire in the summer. Coincidence?”

    English
    WHO WE ARE?
Mr.iraq site was created in October 2006 as a group of entertaining forums to bring together all young Iraqis from all backgrounds and races.
As days passed by, we, mr.iraq group team and members found out that our ideas and activities are unlimited that internet was not enough for us. We felt that we should do something for our people, our beloved country.
The beginning was in late 2009 were everyone agreed to the importance of make a difference in many ways to serve the Iraqi society who suffered for many years.
After too many discussions and opinions, we agreed to start with helping orphans who’s barely been remembered by the media which always cared about terrorists and explosions.
With the help of Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and a number of Iraqis who refused to mention their names, the first campaign to help orphans was made , supported by the Iraqi media , then a second campaign was made and now we are preparing for the third one.
The goal of spreading our campaign through the internet, satellite TV channels, newspapers and magazines is to motivate young Iraqis and encourage them to participate in such campaign or any small project they can make to do what we are doing or even a small part of it, to be the candle that light their way guiding them to stand side by side to help and love each other. We believe, as we started small, one day we’ll be a union that buildIraq, clean the streets, help the poor and destroy ignorance because young people can do it, they can raise our country.
As Allah said in the holy Quran:
To this world and the Hereafter. And they ask you about orphans. Say, “Improvement for them is best. And if you mix your affairs with theirs – they are your brothers. And Allah knows the corrupter from the amender. And if Allah had willed, He could have put you in difficulty. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

    “Previous campaigns:
In the name of god :
(You maintain for orphans [their rights] in justice.” And whatever you do of good – indeed, Allah is ever Knowing of it.)
After years of embargo and wars thatIraqhad been through which influencedIraq’s economy and society. As a result, a new part of the society was found, the orphans…
Many children were born without parents or guardians as a result of the military actions of killing, destruction and bombing of civilian sites or as a result of economic and social conditions that Iraq been through which made some parents leaving their children to orphanages . Year after year, the number of orphans had been dramatically increased …
Since Iraqis are known by their courage, goodness, generosity and love to help others. A number of young Iraqis were gathered over the internet in Mr.Iraqforums where they began to draw a smile on orphans’ faces by helping them through coordinating campaigns which stakeholders admit that it was successful and the first campaign was made in fall 2009”

  • Tim V

    “Mr.Iraq first orphans’ campaign
It took place in “dar alzohoor “orphanage in Al-adameeya district. It was a great success, presents were given to the orphans including school uniforms, stationery and everything they need in school. We were extremely delighted that we could draw a smile to their faces and bring them joy …
Official media covered the campaign, represented by the Iraqi Media Network ( al-iraqia tv channel and Al-sabah newspaper )
     Mr.Iraq second orphans’ campaign
In fall 2010 the second campaign was made. It was much better than the first one, it took place in “zohoor al-alweeya “orphanage. The success and support it had was unexpected. This campaign include given them more clothes and more stationery for school and different presents for all of the orphans
We’re very happy that we could make a little difference in those little angels’ lives…
This campaign was also covered by Al-iraqia TV channel and Al-zaman newspaper.
Now, we are preparing for Mr.Iraq third orphans’ campaign
In the coming years, we’ll have more campaigns to prove to the world that in spite of all what we’ve been through and the hard times passed, we are one country and one people work to help each other no matter what…”

Sounds great to me but then many things do on the suface. Many a shark lurks under an azure sea as we saw with “oil for food”. First campaign just when the Zygier story just breaking by the way. I am sure they are in no way related.

Just out of interest this WIKI tidbit re George Galloway of Marian Appeal fame (besides others):

“A third Viva Palestina convoy began at the end of 2009. On 8 January 2010, Galloway and his colleague Ron McKay were deported from Egypt immediately upon entry from Gaza. They had been attempting to help take about 200 aid trucks into the Gaza Strip. They were driven by the police to the airport and put on a plane to London. The previous day an Egyptian soldier had been killed during a clash at the border with Hamas loyalists. Several Palestinians were also injured.[106][107]
The Foreign Ministry of Egypt released a statement reading: “George Galloway is considered persona non grata and will not be allowed to enter into Egypt again”. Shortly after his deportation Galloway said, “It is a badge of honour to be deported by a dictatorship” and “I’ve been thrown out of better joints than that.”[108][109] He also vowed to go back to the Gaza strip. The Daily Record described his mood as “defiant”.[109]”

McAfee claims that he has proof this was done on the specific orders of a minister in the Belize Government.

    “Apr 24, 2012
Arthur Young’s shooting death still suspicious
Few specifics are confirmed on the killing of Arthur Young, the reputed leader of the Taylor’s Alley Gang who was the suspect for the Friday night of George Street boss, Shelton “Pinky” Tillett. Police are tight lipped saying only that he was shot in the pan of a vehicle when he attempted to disarm an officer. In the absence of credible information, News Five’s Isani Cayetano followed the trail and the timeline as to what went down when Young was found at an abandoned house in Vista del Mar. But until tonight, there is no confirmation as to who has viewed his full body at the KHMH; his mother could not on Monday and the morgue was under guard. News Five’s Isani Cayetano revisits this story.” http://edition.channel5belize.com/archives/69601

The main point of McAfee’s blog is that Belize acts as a main route for 10 – 15 Lebonese (Hezbollah) a month to enter America under false passports provided by the Belize Government.

and that Hezbollah have a Nicaraguan training base utilizing drug transfer money to the US to fund their activities elsewhere. Sounds feasible.

“You must show the permit to your employer or approved education provider before you start to work or study.

You must take your permit with you if you go abroad while you have permission to stay in the UK. You may need to show the permit to an immigration officer at the border when you leave the UK. You will also need to show it as well as your valid national passport or travel document before you begin your return journey, and again when you re-enter the UK. The permit proves that you are allowed to return to the UK, but it cannot be used instead of a passport or travel document.”

If anyone in Saad al-Hilli’s vehicle was carrying a biometric residency permit, there would be a record at the border crossing upon their return.

Similarly, any international students who had skipped class might be caught in the biometric web.

If a person died overseas, and had been subject to such biometric records before their departure, the identity of the deceased could be verified in this way.

  • Q

Someone with the biometric residency permit might also leave a record upon departing the U.K.

NR, 9:26AM – Regarding that blog entry you brought up (thanks!!), the Yehuda Blau mentioned is the yehuda Bello discussed here earlier, who is the first apparently to find that ppl profile of Zygier in Milano.

The speculation by this individual – Shraga Elam – who lists himself as “investigative Journalist” is that the fact that X was “suicided” with 1-2 days of Feldman’s visit was no coincidence. Apparently, he was a new attorney hired by Maya and is much dreaded by the intelligence agencies as they dealt with his a lot in connection with Anat kam and Vanunu plus others. When the file did not arrive and he called 2 days later top ask about it, he was told that there was no need since the prisoner has now “committed suicide”. Shraga speculates that the suicide was accomplished to cover up a screw-up in the whole case, namely that there was no case.

Furthermore, unlike Bello who claims Zygier was not “suitable” for Mossad, being a bit unstable, and a braggart, Shraga contends that X apparently had stronger character than that, having withstood “8” months of harsh conditions, still without a “confession”. Yehuda Bello has, for whatever reason, decided to ‘clean up” Mossad’s image under the guise of criticizing them, based on his last post on the matter.

While all this is interesting as a window into the state of mind of Israelis (for whom the image of Mossad is near-sacrosanct), there is little new information. not only that but there seems to be a deliberate campaign to tamp down on any further discussions of this case (which kind of reminds me of Chevaline? move on – nothing more to see here…all are dead….too bad but life goes on….).

The one item from Yehuda Bello I do believe is that Zygier in Milano was a a false persona. The reason for that is that the area this Zygier would have been in – starting company in electronics/communications gear is a far cry from what X the prisoner’s specialty was – namely law. There is no evidence he would know even how to set up a European company even if he wasn’t technical. Plus the fact that this “company” was never named makes me suspect that this indeed is where the leads are meant to stop. My guess is that the trail would lead far afield.

While I kind of doubt now it was “Allot” per se, it is quite likely that the Milano outfit could have been set up as a subsidiary of say, Allot, or even as a sub-division, though this would have been done all under the table, since Iran would not likely buy into an Allot company as a source of equipment. The connections could however be there – underground – just like those connections to rantek, the company that did the “repackaging”. Possibly the Milano company was even set up to be like RanTek and that would be a very good reason not to disclose its name. It would also be connected to networks all over Europe, essentially ALL of which would have been compromised. Not only that, but agents on the field in Iran, Dubai , lebanon and who knows where else, would have been exposed as well, agents.

I now believe that the rounding up of spy networks in by Hezbollah and Iran, which started in 2009 and reached a peek in 2010 – could have been connected to this Milano company. basically, an operation years in the making – along with numerous field agents was obliterated. That would explain the fury directed at Zygier which caused a major over-reaction. The Mossad is anything if not super-arrogant. They probably (or just some individuals) couldn’t bring themselves to admit they messed up with the Australian passports business, and that the weak link was in their own operational procedures. So they look for an individual to provide the linchpin for the blame. You could say that I find Shraga Elam’s speculation somewhat credible, given the mentality of israel’s intelligence agencies. To put it simply – they are so full of themselves that they end up shooting themselves in the foot. That’s what happens when there is no accountability.

  • NR

Thanks for the excellent analysis above. Did not know that the Yehuda Blau mentioned is the yehuda Bello discussed here earlier. Makes more sense now.

As you said, “I find Shraga Elam’s speculation somewhat credible, given the mentality of israel’s intelligence agencies. To put it simply – they are so full of themselves that they end up shooting themselves in the foot. That’s what happens when there is no accountability.”

The same applies to every group from the SISs to local police to heads of state, when massive efforts are expended to prevent embarrassment to an institution.
