The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.
Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:
the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?
The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.
Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:
Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.
There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.
But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.
The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?
@Bluebird: So we’re back to the NNSA again. If they have all this fancy detection equipment, why did they send HEU on an unarmed ship to France? Obviously they knew someone else could detect it en route, since they themselves know about the know-how.

Footnote: What’s with the “stateless” men in the story of the MV Arctic Sea?
This story has all the elements of a trademark fairy tale, complete with the lines “state interests” and “the truth will likely never be known”:

Note the government official from Israel who arrived at the centre of the drama in haste.
One version of the tale claims that Mossad contracted out the role of pirate to Russian gangsters. According to the Russian journalist quoted in the last link above:
“The vessel had all the necessary modern means of communication and emergency alarms, and was located in waters where regular mobile telephones work,’’ he said at a news conference. “To hijack the vessel so that no one makes a peep . . . can you imagine how that could be? I can’t.’’
Who would be capable of silencing all communication with the ship?
Whatever happened to the editor/analyst who went into hiding is unclear. His phone was disconnected. Here’s an interview with him dated 2010:
http://rusnavy.com/nowadays/tasks/piracy/voitenko270810/
This again begs the question as to why an unarmed, aging ship would be used to carry HEU from the U.S. to France on a solo mission.
An RT video on Youtube noted the fact that three of the nations involved in the MV Arctic Sea story are not members of NATO.
A current report on recent activity on the high seas, from the journalist who reported the MV Arctic Sea incident:

Ob may hug Bib but he’s no mug. He knows that it’s wise to keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
No one cared about Petraeus’ “bit on the side”. He had to take the fall, whether innocent or not, for the cock-up in Benghazi. I say “cock-up” but such incidents are seldom accidental. Steven’s death resulted from smoke not bullets. It would appear his bodyguard escaped through a window leaving him behind.
The circumstances of the attack and the American response are amazingly confused to say the least. It is stated that many of the attackers had their faces covered. To allow the Ambassador to be in that location, with less protection than an NGO is inexplicable and negligent at least. CIA were actually next door.
Certain interests were desperate to prevent the re-election of Obama. For any group capable of masterminding 9/11, this was small fry. That it didn’t work is somewhat reassuring. Meanwhile back in Israel Obama must wonder where he has more enemies – at home or abroad?

I am afraid that you have the wrong Bo Jiang in your latest two google quotes”.
Ah ! Makes sense.
I went from LinkedIn, to the guy I found (by Google only).
I did also search (forget now) and came up with a Chinese kid would works in China…for AREVA/CEZUS.
Think the seach was Jiang/Cezus or something. I was looking at universities that may “link” together.
Bizarre how there is “not alot” on the MSM about this guys arrest.
How “true” his arrest is, is another thing. I believe he has been held…but on the charges they are saying ?
It is worth a dig around. Hf is pretty key to alot of things.

It was more Health and Safety than a “data sheet”.
It was about the powder becoming exposed to “air”.

21 Mar, 2013 – 10:56 am as you probably know, all five Watergater burlars had FBI or CIA connections as follows:
Bernard L. Barker – a realtor from Miami, Florida. Former Central Intelligence Agency operative. Barker was said to have been involved in the Bay of Pigs incident in 1962.
Virgilio R. Gonzales – a locksmith from Miami, Florida. Gonzalez was a refugee from Cuba, following Castro’s takeover.
James W. McCord – a security co-ordinator for the Republican National Committee and the Committee for the Re-election of the President. McCord was also a former FBI and CIA agent. He was dismissed from his RNC and CREEP positions the day after the break-in.
Eugenio R. Martinez – worked for Barker’s Miami real estate firm. He had CIA connections and was an anti-Castro Cuban exile. Click here to read Martinez’s account of the burglary.
Frank A. Sturgis – another associate of Barker from Miami, he also had CIA connections and involvement in anti-Castro activities. http://watergate.info/burglary/burglars
In addition the masterminds were similarly connected:
G. Gordon Liddy – from Washington, counsel to the Finance Committee to Re-elect the President, a former FBI agent, former Treasury official, and former member of the White House staff. During the investigation, Liddy refused to answer questions and was fired from his job.
E Howard Hunt Jr. – from Washington, a former White House consultant and CIA employee. Hunt was a writer of espionage novels and had worked on declassifying the Pentagon Papers. http://watergate.info/burglary/burglars
So I would suggest even with Nixon, my suggestion of the CIA/Republican link is supported.
Then as if to emphasise deeper and even more sinister link we have E Howard Hunt’s deathbed admission that there was indeed a conspiracy to murder JFK, what he terms “the Big Event”, and that he was part of it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsBiVJsgzmI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98OSYceGvWA
If they were capable of big events then, they are now.
And as for strange co-incidences, this interview with Kennedy was undertaken 9th September, 1963 – 40 years to the day, prior to the events of 9/11.

Worth watching if only for the approach to Vietnam, inflation, the deficit and tax cuts being justified on the back of the British experience. Maybe some people have long memories and a soft spot for historical allusion?
Two more rather resonant 9/11 events:
1973 – A coup in Chile headed by General Augusto Pinochet topples the democratically elected president Salvador Allende. Pinochet exercises dictatorial power until ousted in a referendum in 1988, staying in power until 1990.
1978 – U.S. President Jimmy Carter, President Anwar Sadat of Egypt, and Prime Minister Menachem Begin of Israel meet at Camp David and agree on the Camp David Accords a framework for peace between Israel and Egypt and a comprehensive peace in the Middle East. WIKI
It also happens co-incidentally, to be the birthday in 1965 of – Bashar al-Assad, Syrian politician, 21st President of Syria.
Ylva Anna Maria Lindh, Sweden’s Foreign Minister at the time, was attacked by a man with a knife while shopping in the ladies’ section of the Nordiska Kompaniet department store in central Stockholm just after 4 p.m on the 10 September, 2003. She died next day on the eleventh. At the time of the attack, Lindh was not protected by bodyguards from the Swedish Security Service, a controversial predicament similar to that of prime minister Olof Palme in 1986, the first murder of a government member in Sweden’s modern history. After first denying all involvement, on 6 January 2004, a Serbian, Mijailo Mijailović, admitted to the crime and gave a full account of the events. Her funeral was attended by representatives of many countries. U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell could not participate because storms prevented his plane from taking off, but he sent his condolences.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Lindh
“The world’s largest and most advanced “fortified hospital” was unveiled this week at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. The 2,000 bed underground hospital is designed to keep patients and staff safe dozens of meters below ground even if missiles and rockets are falling above ground – in case the city ever faces the kind of attack it did during the Second Lebanon War in 2006. It is also designed to keep out chemical or biological weapons.” http://www.timesofisrael.com/worlds-most-advanced-underground-hospital-opens-in-haifa/

I’ll throw in this link for a what-it’s-worth, just to keep the discussion going. It’s from the esteemed rightist WND and the writer is ex-military conspiracist. Makes some sense, since Saddam had chemical weapons at one time, but didn’t after Gulf War II, so where did they go?

Yes. Surrey again. His death is considered to be suicide. Suicided?
I said often before that somehow most of these events are somehow connected.
One event triggers the next one and so on.
I do not say that al Hilli was connected with Berezovsky, bit Berezovsky was connected with Mr.X aka N.A., and Mr. Hilli was somehow connected with Mr. X. too (The London Group).
Very coincidentally, but Berezovskys history is somehow sounding common:
“He rose from being a mathematician, a computer programmer and a used car salesman, to being such an influential figure in Boris Yeltsin’s Russia.”
I dont think that people like him would suicide themselves. There is usually a third party involved into these Russian suicides and heart attacks. I suspect Berezovsky being a key player in 9/11. Now losing money and wealth he might have tried to blackmail the wrong guys, or he simply didnt have the money to pay for proper security any longer.
Here are Berezovsky’s 9/11 links: (btw. Very interesting reading that might give some al Hilli links).
