Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22281

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

There is a link here from Chevaline development, through dstl/dera to David Kelly to SSTL to Saad al Hilli. Whether this is significant to the killings is quite another matter but the links are indisputable.

  • Tim V

“Down to 2.5 m definition” This was 2001 for a non-military application. So someone has access to satellite imagery of Chevaline even with cloud cover at different times. How about the crucial times – say 3.00 to 4.00 pm?

  • Tim V

next monday panorama programme revisits chevaline and interviews wbm and zah. will it challenge on critical points or be another whitewash?

  • bluebird

Another “ranting” 9/11 conspiracy author suicided his children and himself.

I was always wondering about whether a “suicide” event wasnt possible in chevaline because of the unexpected disturbance by mollier? A father kills his loved ones and himself in a suicide attempt is a regular story. But then they got unexpected dead mollier and their pre arranged story was possibly unexplainable. So they had panic and they must change their theatre script asap, leaving the still living children alive but not killing them as planned because the suicide story was destroyed by dead mollier.
Panic! They need to make up a new story within hours.
That’s perhaps creating those WBM timing errors.

    Hmmm. Maybe.

9/11 Conspiracy Author Phillip Marshall & His 2 Kids Found Dead in CA

    Quotes:

Phillip Marshall, a former airplane pilot and author whose works included the 2003 novel “Lakefront Airport,”  – “False Flag 911: How Bush, Cheney and the Saudis Created the Post-911 World (08)” and “The Big Bamboozle: 9/11 and the War on Terror,” a 2012 publication in which Marshall theorized it wasn’t al-Qaidabut rather U.S. and Saudi government officials who orchestrated 9/11, was found dead along with his two children in their Murphrys-area home in California. Reports indicate all 3 died of gunshot wounds.

Funny thing 1: Conspiracy theorists using a photo of a happy family as proof that one of them isn’t unhinged.Funny thing 2: This guy has been publishing books and speaking for years. He hasn’t been influential. Why would the CIA waste the cost of 3 bullets?Funny thing 3: Someone who is paranoid that thousands of people were in on the murder of everyone at the WTC could be suicidal and delusional? THATS CRAZY!Funny thing 4: Expert CIA hit squad, kills author who uses dribbles of twisted truth and odd weird details leaves door wide open after hit, by accident…. uh sure.Funny thing 5: mysterious cleanup SUV at site…. somehow we know that door was open and he shot himself with the wrong hand.

Former US National Security Agency Officer Wayne Madsen says Philip Marshall and his children were killed in a “black ops hit” by the CIA, dismissing the suicide hypothesis. Marshall was afraid of being silenced for his revelations about 9/11, He had said to his friends and his associates, before he was killed, that he was sitting on a bomb-shell, some kind of information that was going to change everything and he was going to be publishing this in his next book.Apparently Philip Marshall was shot in the left temple and yet he was right handed! The police said that his house was far from neighbor’s houses, so none of the neighbours would have heard any gunshots. In fact the neighbors were right on top of his house virtually and none of the neighbours heard gunshots. There was a door that was left wide open, the door that Philip Marshall never used and was found wide open after his death. There are a number of other indications including the cleanup of the crime scene, an illegal and unauthorized cleanup of the crime scene by an SUV (vehicle) with state of California plates, bristling with a communications antenna from the top.

Was Michael Hastings assassinated? Did Mercedes have a role in his death?
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urVh9YiWc-I
The government has access to press a button and use remote controls to remove the brakes from your car. As you will hear….”They can take full control of your car without physically touching your car. The reason I uploaded this video is because of the journalist Michael Hastings that died in June.
A day before he died he said “I have a big story i am investigating about the NSA/FBI” days later he died from having his car being drove into a tree at 100 mph per hour. Minutes before his wreck he was caught on audio saying “he needs to find a hide away the FBI is investigating him”.

Modern Cars Can Be Hacked — Boats and Planes Next?
    Nicholas West – Activist Post
The question of whether or not modern cars can be hacked has been answered in the wake of the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of journalist Michael Hastings.
Dr. Kathleen Fisher spoke in 2012 about DARPA’s High-Assurance Cyber Military Systems (HACMS) program, making it clear that all modern cars could be vulnerable to hacking and solutions need to be found.
Additional concerns are now being raised about the role GPS systems could play in making it possible to hack boats, planes and other GPS-reliant systems.
GPS tracking and positioning technology was brought to us by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Apparently, DARPA has done such a good job thoroughly embedding GPS into military applications, as well as permitting it to trickle down to “civilian devices,” that it has permeated nearly all of modern life.
As stated by Arati Prabhakar, head of DARPA, “sometimes a capability is so powerful that our reliance on it, in itself, becomes a vulnerability.”

    As Tim mentioned earlier:
    Mon 21st October 2013 @ 21:00 hrs on BBC1
Panorama – Murder in the Alps
    Description (from the on-air EPG)
“With exclusive access to eyewitnesses and investigators, Panorama reveals how and asks why a British family and a passer-by were brutally murdered by a hitman”

For those not in the UK, if you can access BBC iPlayer (via a UK proxy?) you can probably also get it via that after the TV showing has finished.

Note: they refer to a “hitman”

‘Last time I saw my brother he pinned me to the bed – but I did NOT arrange the murder of him and his family’: Zaid Al-Hilli breaks his silence on Alps killings

“The Surrey accountant arrested over the murder of his brother in the Alps today claims he was physically attacked by him at their last ever meeting.

Zaid Al-Hilli, 54, denies shooting his brother as he sat in his BMW car close to the French town of Annecy.

But he says Mr Al-Hilli had a fight with his brother, the then 49-year-old Saad Al-Hilli, in November 2011 over their father’s inheritance.

‘He pinned me down,’ said Mr Al-Hilli.

‘I was on the bed in my bedroom and he pinned me down.
    That’s it. That’s all.’

Seen a trailer for the “Panorama – Murder in the Alp” program

    1) shows footage of WBM talking while driving a car (think they billed this as a “reconstruction”)

    2) shows footage of an interview with ZAH (him answering “no” to the direct question “did you kill your brother”)

  • katie

Oh look the vehicle has changed colour !

“He told the BBC’s Panorama: “The car was a BMW 4×4, X5, grey metallic, in good condition, clean, it looked pretty new. It was a right-hand drive, English. I didn’t get much of a look at him but the driver was slightly bald and he had dark skin, no glasses.” The claims were last night corroborated by Surrey Police. Despite a public appeal earlier this year, the car has not yet been traced.”

    An Iraqi driver ?

The MSM reports are getting stupid. They believe that people forget, and probably they are right so because many do.

1.The car changes colours like a chameleon.

2.The lone nutter theory (eric) has suddenly got a bald, dark haired twin.
(Eric must have known the forestry worker’s witness statement long BEFORE he told press his lone nutter theory. Why even investigate a lone nutter theory if he knew about this statement all the time?)

    3. The “previously convicted killer” does it for $2.000 but he drives a BMW X5 (a british) and they are two guys. $ 1.000 for each of them? That would not even cover the cost for fuel, ferry and youth hostel. What a BS!

Tim always suggested that there must have been a second car.

The new MSM reports are contradictory and totally stupid. This is a story from 1001 nights and while being interesting a year ago the MSM is making it terribly dull now.

There are no doubts about that this was a secret intelligence cover up that went wrong and now they are trying to tell us a story because they did underestimate the public interest.

  • Kenneth Sorensen

Relax, Bleb one way or the other we are going to hear about it, if there is anything new. Your quest led me to explore the Panorama Archive, which since 2008 (the onset of the financial crisis) has been somewhat lacking. The BBC in those days had a budget the size of Estonia.

But in the good old days they had people sitting and doing transcripts, including the following, which was a delight to re-read. Some of the points which the Neocon’s are making regarding Libya and Syria is very interesting in view of subsequent events. Remember that this program was made in the height of the Iraq war, when they thought that the war was going to be a walk over – and the war trail continue to Syria and Iran. But the Iraqi Mujahedins put a stop to that.

    Morning BB.

I have seen nothing yet to change my theory………in fact,it’s been compounded by a number of things.
The motive was ‘cover up’ , such a crime had to be for someone big & there’s no one bigger than the man at the top, O.

Whilst I have never thought Zaid was guilty or part of the plot, I firmly believe he knows, why, who & what the reason was.
It could almost certainly be a timely act by the assassin/s who were close enough to know of the feud between the brothers so that automatically Zaid would be accused…….IE:the scape goat.

  • Kenneth Sorensen

ANOTHER FAB-QUOTE, which I have used many times over the years in my argumentation against their enterprises.

Everything you need to know about what motivates [the Neocons, the most influental of which are all Jews*]

    [my emphasis]

    RICHARD PERLE:
    US Defence Policy Board

“For those of us who are involved in foreign and defence policy today, my generation, the defining moment of our history was certainly the holocaust. It was the destruction, the genocide of a whole people, and it was the failure to respond in a timely fashion to a threat that was clearly gathering. We don’t want that to happen again when we have the ability to stop totalitarian regimes we should do so, because when we fail to do so, the results are catastrophic.”

NEWSWEEK, Jan 22, 2010: The Return of the Neocons

    by David Margolick

Precisely who qualifies for the designation can be vexing, particularly as people recoil from the term, or claim it’s meaningless or outdated, or dismiss it as an anti-Semitic slur. Though there have been and are many exceptions—Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Jeane Kirkpatrick, John Bolton—certainly the most prominent neoconservatives (or people to whom that label has been attached) are Jews, though it’s definitely easier for a Jew (like me) to say so. In polite company the Jewishness of the neocons comes up awkwardly, if at all.

B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G: The Israel lobby had a man in NATO during the Libya war.

Not just any man. The US ambassador to NATO, mo less. He is called Ivo Daadler, and is a Jew born in the Netherlands. I can’t think of, say a Dane or a Swede, in just one generation having made it to atop position in America like this.

Yes we had Ted Sorenson, John F. Kennedy’s speechwriter, whose father was Danish [and I think mother Jewish which of course always helps], and in the same way Bluebird from Belgium, or wherever he lives, may have had a countryman, whose ancestors have made it to the top. But it almost never happens just a few years after they have come to America. Do you agree? And with good reason, because what’s the idea from a National Security point of Jew with total strangers being taken in like that?

The situation i similar to the Australian Jew, Martin indyk, who was made a US citizen in 1993 THE SAME YEAR he launched the disastrous so called “Dual Containment” [Sic!] policy, where US troops had to “contain” to countries, Iraq and Iran, who were sworn enemies of each other. Those troops had to stay somewhere, and unfortunately that place was Saudi Arabia, and their present was to become an important rallying call for Al Queda. Osama bin Laden was a Saudi, as was 16 out of 19 hijackers on September 11th 2001.

But back to Ivo Daadler. Here he is arguing emotionally for an intervention in Syria, and is called to order by John Mearsheimer, who literally blows him out of the studio by the sheer force of his arguments. The video is about 12 min. long

  • Kenneth Sorensen

this Ivo Daadler guy, is just the sort of intellectual which I don’t like. It’s al,ost impossible for the ordinary man to figure out what they are doing,- particularly if they hide out of public view. I first got to know about him around August 1st this year – and yet he has been — in effect — the boss of Anders Fog-of-war Rasmussen, the Danish Secretary General, for four years.

Whereas I like John Mearsheimer very much and consider him very honest,- apparently this Daadler-guy has been devising a scheme to take Gaddafi — yet another old foe of Israel — out, using among others, the Danish Air Force, but which also involved letting the French on the loose from the start, and giving them the green light to go ahead during an EU summit without informing the others beforehand. Remember when President Sarkozy informed the others in the room that French forces were now airborne en route to Libya? This situation is strictly contrasted to the recent Syrian crisis, when the French were just about to repeat the trick and be the first ones to strike, but the rug was pulled under them by Obama, who decided to ask Congress.

    Katie
Everybody who believes that Zaid is an “open book” (his own words! ) and that Zaid was coming out to tell us the “truth”, is naive.

Journalists never asked the question they would normally ask. Why?
If Zaid talks to me (being a journalist) my first question to the “open book” would be:

Tell me all you know about your brother’s work since 1980. When and where did he work and on what projects did he work?

Tell me all about your father’s inheritance, particularly about the house in Iraq. Who was there, who lives there, who owns it?

Tell me all you know about your father’s work in London and about his connections with al Khoei and al Sistani.

Why was the London house owned by the al Shabaan family (it is unusual that a Shia wife owns the property)? Was your father poor or did he have depths or did he have to hide from somebody?

Tell us everything you know about your mothers family, her brothers and your grandfather.

Tell us everything about your jobs prior to your accounting business for the “golf club”.

Those questions no journalist ever asked. We have an “open book” as Zaid said that he is one. Why not such questions? Or did they ask these question but the open book was closed then by Zaid or by the gov. censorship?

Tell us everything you know about the geneva money and about its origin.

I am having my theory, too. But we know for sure that this was a secret service gov. op. cover up. That is 100%.

  • bluebird

    Oh!

And i forgot one important question for Zaid. Although it is private i would like to know it:

Did you have another mother than Saad’s?
Was the surrey house owner your genetic mother or did you just have the same father? Did Kadhim have a second wife? Who else should know that answer but Zaid?

That suspicion would also explain a bitter inheritance fight, perhaps an inheritance fight not only between two brothers but between two different wive’s families, two complete oriental families, two influentual families seeking for blood feud against each other, each family being represented by one son of Kadhim al hilli, Zaid and Saad.

  • katie

I think I mentioned that right at the start last year BB.
The brothers are so UNalike in appearance, I’d say it’s more than likely.
Saad would appear to have been spoiled too, possibly because he shared both Kadhim & the mother we know of.

Whereas, Zaid hadn’t had a mothers love due to being separated due to death or divorce from his father/mother.

Wouldn’t that explain his tight pinched look…..whereas Saad looks plump, happy & content = nurtured ?

  • bluebird

    Katie
I would not go into details of their baby age.

However, a divorce isnt necessary. Could be but not necessarily a condition because Shia can have more than one wife, particularly back in iraq (both sons were born in iraq).
When going to tge UK, Kadhim could have one legal wife only (not so in iraq).

If there were two wives then that could be the time when a family dispute about money and property started. Fasiha al Shabaan comes from a rich and political influential cleric family in lebanon and syria. We dont know if there was a second wife and who she was. However, if Zaid had another mother, we can bet that she was from a rich and political influential family, too.

It is possible that kadhim sent Zaid’s mother to the uk, too, and that he gave her and her family money. However, in UK he had to decide for one wife and that was Fasiha (saad’s mother). Maybe he left Zaid’s mother back in iraq and gave her that house in baghdad that saad had claimed in 2003? Maybe that mother/family was strongly connected to the saddam government?

And that could be the reason for an inheritance war after kadhim’s death, particularly when the property was owned by Saad’s mother.

All those questions should be asked to the “open book” zaid al hilli. Pity that nobody ever asked.

Not an off topic but when I was reading last nights breakdown of Homeland I read this little snipet (below) and it really made a lot of sense to me not only for this case but others I have read about! eg: for all the truthers out there if 9/11 was an inside job they would have known about the hijackings (or at least have been running the highjackers as assets) and let it happen for their own means! which is very sensible and real way of looking at it!

Sure they know everything and they knew it from the very second. Simply because this was their own job.
What they were struggling with (and still do) was their original story setup, their pre planned excuse. Something went wrong there. Perhaps it was mollier who wasnt part of their plan. Something did interfere their plans. Then the story was changed and updated till now. Maybe they did also underestimate the huge public reaction and interest. And certainly they did not consider the long lasting power of internet investigation.

They are still setting up and updating their story. Unfortunately nobody believes into their setup scripts any more. They know everything but they do not want us to know the truth.

Yes you may well be right BB.
At present I’m ploughing my way through 100 episodes of ‘The Magnificent Century ‘, [now on episode 42 & in Arabic] the Turkish serial which has gripped the country & the muslim world.

Of course its set in the Ottoman harem of Sultan Sulieman, the squabbles & jealousies are incredible, from murder, poisoning strangling & throat slashing between the women !!!
The men are pussy cats by comparison.

I’m looking forward to Panorama tonight, but not expecting to hear anything new……

Those are the clerics and lawmakers the al Hillis were connected to.

    Interesting inheritance law:
Both girls get everything. Zaid gets nothing.
If both girls were dead, Zaid would get everything (given that he was the only brother or paternal half brother).
