Kezia Dugdale Got Just 5,217 Votes 1642

The Labour Party is being remarkably coy about releasing the actual result of its Scottish accounting unit leadership election, giving only a percentage. The entirely complacent unionist media is complicit in what amounts to a deception. The stunning truth is that in a one person, one vote election among the entire membership of the Labour Party in Scotland plus trades union supporters, Dugdale won with 5,217 votes (out of a claimed electorate of 21,000, many of whom do not exist or could not be arsed to choose between two right wing numpties).

UPDATE: A second Labour figure just rang me to assure me my information – which was from a good source – is wrong. She would not give the actual figure and only said it was “higher”. I offered to take down the post and publish an accurate figure if she would give it, but this was declined.

    Fedup

    Disenfranchising 56000 people due to some trumped up reasons; belong to other parties! How can anyone determine with certainty if anyone belongs to any party in UK?

    Political parties likely keep data on voters that voters have willing divulged e.g. in conversation with canvassers in exit polls and from doorstep campaigns. Labour apparently have been searching social media to see if supporters have openly spoken in favour of political opponents. So, you’re right: it’s a very inexact process. And of course parties won’t share their data with each other, as good data represents an electoral advantage.

    It is evident that the nulabour puppets are busy discounting anyone who is joining in to vote for Corbyn.

    To some degree. But it’s not as easy as spying on the vote and investigating people who vote the “wrong” way. A good deal of the voting is electronic, and this has been undertaken by a reputable third party. The Labour HQ will not know the results of that until voting finishes.

    “never let a good crisis go to waste”

    Mark Klein whistled the following

    MK: People often ask, what do we do now? I have no magical answer to that, but the first step in moving forward is to understand the problem. The past 15 years or so have revealed in many ways how the two parties are in bed with each other, despite their theatrical attacks on each other, and they are both funded by a small bunch of oligarchs interested only in their profits.

    Both parties fed us lies to take us into war in the Middle East, and there seems to be no end to it.

    Both parties have backed the [NSA/GCHQ] surveillance which is inextricably tied to the wars, torture, assassination programs, and all the rest.

    We have to find a way to break the political monopoly of the two parties with some kind of third political party geared to the needs of ordinary working people. Otherwise, the future is dark.

    Who would’ve thunk that a retired U.S. Telephone engineer would have described the UK political situation, nuLiebor, Conz, etc whilst describing the U.S. Political situation?

    False-flags from Fisk, via Le Monde

    Le Monde Diplomatique article, (quoted in an anti-Guardian thesis)

    Le Monde Diplomatique had a very long article about conspiracies in June 2015. For non subscribers, Robert Fisk mentioned the article at length in The Independent

    True false flags

    Fisk: “that inestimable French journal Le Monde Diplomatique this month carries a wodge of articles under the title ‘Did you say conspiracy?’, painfully dissecting how many false-flag stories turned out to be true.

    There’s the Mukden incident, for example, a 1931 Chinese attack on imperial Japan which turned out to be a Japanese attack on China and led to the Japanese invasion of Manchuria, the Rape of Nanking, et al.
    Then there’s the 1933 burning of the Reichstag which might have been started by the Nazis rather than the communists;
    the successful – and real – CIA-MI5/6 plot to overthrow Iran’s elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh, in which bombs were supposedly planted by (yet again) communists;
    Israel’s 1954 ‘Operation Susannah’ in which Israeli-organised attacks on UK and US buildings in Cairo were blamed on Egyptian nationalists;
    and the 1964 Tonkin incident, when America reported totally imaginary North Vietnamese attacks on a US warship, which led to the very real launching of the Vietnam War.
    Interestingly, Latin America provides even more proof of real US plots: Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Nicaragua, Cuba, you name it.

    The French monthly also carries a very fair critique of those who believe George W and his chums engineered the twin towers attacks – as if a US president who screwed up everything he ever did in the Middle East was capable of bringing down the WTC

    Some airhead on Sky News this morning linked Jeremy Corbyn and Donald Trump by referring to them both as ‘straight talkers’!

  • Ba'al Zevul

    RD has been posting ceaselessly and excessively some would say. No comment though on NHS privatisation.

    Quite so. I also notice that he is remarkably silent on the failure of Tian Tian to give birth, and culpably remiss in failing to comment on the price of bananas.

    I mean, hell, Mary. you’re talking??? If there were any kind of posting discipline here, most of us would be in the mods’ wastebin, and you’d be among the first.

  • Ba'al Zevul

    Monsanto, of which George Soros is a major shareholder, produces a weedkiller so toxic only genetically modified seeds can survive it.

    Actually, resistance to glyphosate (which is what you’re talking about) is now developing rather worryingly in weeds exposed to it. The evidence of carcinogenicity mentioned by your link is only slightly better than equivocal. Sharing its 2a carcinogenicity rating are working night shifts, emissions from hot fat frying and fumes from woodburning stoves. Woooo.

    You might care to look at an alternative, 2,4,5-T. Whose dioxin content led to a complete ban in some countries, and severe restrictions on its use in the UK. It was a major component of Agent Orange. With which the US destroyed so much Vietnamese forest and maimed so many children. Wooooo.

    The oligarch George Soros was a major funder of the war in Ukraine.

    He’s certainly keen on seeing it free from Russia. no mistake. However, it’s hard to see how sabotaging Monsanto’s nice little earner is going to hurt him. If Monsanto went belly-up tomorrow, his money would already be out of it and into something equally unethical. That’s why he’s rich.

    If you want a future for the planet the least you can do is sign this petition.

    Advocating birth control would be a better idea .

    This article by Patrick Armstrong praises Gilbert Mercier, Editor-in-Chief of News Junkie Post, for having more perception of what the consequences would likely be Ukraine, at a time when Washington clearly had no Plan B following the imposition of sanctions and the total failure of Plan A.

    http://russia-insider.com/en/ukraine-such-disappointment-girl/ri9389

    “Here’s an interesting post from someone who did think about the consequences. Eighteen months ago. A lot more perceptive than anything out of Washington, don’t you think?”

  • Ba'al Zevul

    Mary – would you kindly stop reproducing and promoting anti-Corbyn propaganda. Thank you.

    She doesn’t read the links. She just posts them. While I endorse the right of anyone to post anything they like here, it certainly seems extremely counterproductive for a Corbyn supporter to post anti-Corbyn material. This too will attract a whinge.

    BBC objects to “defamatory” “napalm bomb” headline
    August 27, 2015, 2:14 am

    Following its partial upholding of my complaint about the unacknowledged switching of footage between two transmissions of a retrospective report on the 2013 parliamentary vote on military intervention in Syria, the BBC’s Editorial Complaints Unit has been in touch to object to the headline originally given to an article about the development published on the website Global Research.

    I have responded here, also querying why I had not been advised on appealing the ECU’s decision in respect of the matters of BBC editorial policy and practice which it had not addressed.

    The ECU’s further response is here and the BBC Trust Unit has subsequently responded separately to inform me that it will be considering my request for an appeal.

    In the meantime, Global Research has published the home page of my blog as a stand alone article (with only a couple of glitches).

    As to my comment at 8:59 am who else as well as Gilbert Mercier saw the future with the fascists empowered by Washington creating a failed state and partition? Not many. You can check yourself. Macky, Doug Scorgie a few others called it right.

    Both on the same day, 1st March, and nothing has changed from then to now. No logical analytical analysis. Just the boring old repetitive repetition of an anything but subliminal advertiser of his masters’ choice. Sell chocolates RD. You have the mindset. “Everyone’s a fruit and nut case.” “Blame Putin.” “Roshen chocolates will unite Ukraine”. “Blame Putin.” Blame Putin. Blame Putin. “Maltesers melt in your mouth.” Blame Putin. Blame Putin. Blame Putin.

    Nevermind, Clark and Brian. Glad to hear that DTRH was a great success, that you all had a good time and that the weather was better than forecast.

    A slightly delayed response to my entirely rational and objective ( (c) Vladimir Putin if facetious suggestion that whipping up patriotism to the max was fine in Russia, but expressing a preference for any other country was absolutely forbidden. To which:

    …So no interest in wrong or right, no Just Cause but just self-interest;

    Charity begins at home…

    the sort of cavalier red neck attitude of “kill them all, let God find his own”.

    Straw man. Non sequitur. Smear.

    This, as well as your frank admittance(sic) that you are knowingly posting pure propaganda, via your “Just providing a little balance”

    What admission? You’re linking exclusively (when you can be bothered supporting any of your statements)to Russian State supported media. You’re punting the undiluted Kremlin line. Balance consists of supplying something else. Which may or may not be ‘pure’ propaganda, and is in my case usually verifiable.

    underscores why everything you say & post about Russia has to be considered as contaminated by irrationality & prejudice, rather than to be viewed as reasoned objective analysis.

    Has to? Who’s the arbiter? Ah. Putin.

    Alcyone; “You work, Komodo???!!!”

    Is that unusual in your world? I suspect it is.

    Yes I noticed that slip too; so a self-declared ex-military person,

    Yes.

    with fighter plane experience,

    No.

    is now working alongside a couple of Russians;

    Yes. I’ve never talked politics to either. Bad manners.

    Also (offhand) a Ukrainian, a Bulgarian (good mate) three Chinese, two Spanish, one French, two Iraq Kurds, a Saudi (I think – he may have left) one Irishman, two Scots, a German and quite a lot of English….and no, it’s not security. Guess on.

    hmm, would certainly explain why he has instant access to so much Russophobic material, even stuff in Russian !

    I wish. Google is my only friend. And Google Translate.

    Maybe he has more in common with Habby than many suspected,

    We both despise useful idiots. Our definitions of ‘useful idiot’ converge on you. Coincidence? I think not.

    although Giyane seems to known given his recent “Ba’al=atant of trolls” hints !

    If you or anyone else can tell me what Giyane is talking about in any given post of his, do let me know. Or what that, coming from a Kremlin troll, has to do with anything.

    On Syria according to military insiders the Iran nuclear deal is/was heavily weighted towards extracting concessions from Iran in it’s support for Syria essentially withdrawing the contingent of Quds force backing Hezbollah fighting the terrorist ‘tools’ of Israel in Syria.

    British commanders are fully aware it is Iran’s strength backed by Russia that is complicating and prolonging the razing of Syria and the deposing of President Bashar al-Assad.

    Assad has always been the main problem in Syria. The Syrian Republican Army can never win the full international support it deserves against USUKIS brutal takfiri mercenaries while it is under Assad. The whole Muslim is world is disgusted by Al Qaida ( except for Asian Muslims who can smell Saudi money there ) , but equally disgusted by this repulsive dictator.

    Everyone wants to get their hands on these Muslim Brotherhood and Takfiri, Israeli scum, but not in the name of Assad. If Assad goes the Muslim world will purge Syria, Iraq, Saudi, Qatar, Libya of these takfiri, greedy violent terrorists who know nothing and understand nothing about Islam. That’s why Assad’s not going anywhere. UK parliament is controlled by israel. If they’d wanted Assad gone it would have been done in September 2013.

    Totally wrong on all counts including the RT slight. When the west tells the truth I link to the west as I did yesterday. It provokes no comment from you (or any of the other Blame Putin chanters) because you know it’s true and supports what a good number of us have been saying all along. You are either right or wrong. You are wrong to cry “Blame Putin” for the ills of the world and would do well to look a little closer to home.

    He says Muslims are getting beaten up in racist attacks. Could that possibly be because they are not practising Islam.

    The equal opportunity racist, is busy rationalising the racist attacks; physical, verbal, actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, and even murder on Muslims, as simply because they are not practicing Islam! The supposed “convert” and johnny come lately has set himself up as the grand arbiter and Imam/Mufti/Rabbi/Archbishop/Pope to sanction who is a practicing Muslim and who is not!

    Further, the racist attacks are explained away as victims’ faults; for not practicing Islam!

    The Asian community, including the imams have concealed their aggressive intentions at colonising this country, in return for past British crimes. The plan , as presented in numerous lectures I have attended in the mosques is to acquire wealth and power by whatever means, including haram means, mortgages, illicit sex with English girls, spying, agtressive elbowing out of others in the workplace, growing long scary beards, joining Muslim fascist groups like Taliban, Al Qaida and now Islamic State.

    This is the kind of narrative out of the “elders of Islam” (akin to the other racist narratives of “elders of z”) clearly is a fabricated and “measured” black propaganda to further reinforce the negative image of the Muslims, by taking their appearance “growing scary long beards” and adding “sex” (where would any black propaganda get without the spice of sex?) not forgetting the “mortgages” and competing in the work place! That is based on the “contemporaneous” reportage of the events in the “mosque” (kind of witches coven with even more toxic brews getting brewed there)!

    Finally, the Taliban, and Al Qaeda, and Daesh all are recruiting the “willing” British Muslims, who are preparing for a race war! That is based on the relevant “Imams” behest and preaching.

    Who else (which other organisations/groups) could be spreading this kind of negative propaganda about Muslims?

    Of course no attack on Muslims would be complete without bringing up the fake “Trojan Letter” that Gove the inveterate Muslim hater used to go in and kick out any Muslim governor that had set his/her gob off for reasons of equality of status of the Muslims in this country (they are second class citizens and they ought to know their station you know!). Hence this;

    Within the Asian community I live in parent governors attempted to bully the local schools staff into changing their policies and curriculums.

    Although equal opportunity racism then extends to the other brown people;

    …. UK is not a polytheist society of deepest ignorance like the Hindus

    No denouncement could be complete without complimenting the target demography that the denouncer is seeking approval from;

    [UK] a Christian society and most of its inherent decency, patience and law-abidingness which they love so much, comes from UK society’ historical adherence to the Book

    Awww warms the cockles of your heart don’t it?

    Even more tickling of the soft spot comes in;

    Christians are better at sticking to their scripture than Muslims to theirs.

    Don’t mention Ashley Madison and the Iraq war, and the other crimes and misdemeanors, Christians are all blessed saints unlike those poppy pants Muslims!

    On goes the litany of risible (almost comical) charges;

    The level of spying on myself living as I do and working as I do in Asian Birmingham has got so bad that even the children in the street, having overheard malicious gossip about me from their parents would curse me openly as they walk past my house. muslim employers were presented with a comprehensive list of my ‘crimes’ presumably by Asian spies working for MI5. These employers therefore thought it reasonable to insult me and vilify me and shout at me, while of course competely ignoring the naughty things their own community was doing.

    So not only are the Muslims deserving of getting beat up and murdered and harassed, because they do not practice Islam. But also the same Muslims are “spying” for “MI5” (why would MI5 be interested in our resident equal opportunity racist? Is a question that is never answered, and is there as a sort of a Dada. Hangs in the theme throughout the denunciation of our Resident Equal Opportunity Racist).

    Some would question the sanity of the individual so obsessed with being spied upon, by more than one entity (Muslims, MI5, ….) although these questioning may have a point in substance because of;

    children in the street, having overheard malicious gossip about me from their parents would curse me openly as they walk past my house

    But as we know this is just part and parcel of the denouncement of Muslims and their existence/presence in UK that is interpreted as “Colonising Britain” all in the way of “taking over” through a race war that is getting fomented by devious means of Imams preaching in the mosques to get the Muslims to do all sorts of “haram” in the way of bringing about that “race war!”

    Needless to point out the narrative of our resident equal opportunity racist and that of EDL and zionist vermin are much the same. although we must accept it on the face value because our resident equal opportunity racist is a “practising Muslim” and he lives in the Asian community so he is an “impartial” (ROFL) “expert witness”.

    In conclusion we have the dubious honour of being witness to genesis of the “elders of Islam” narrative all in the way of “rational” debate of course.

  • MJ

    “it was little green men that did it”

    You’re certainly more likely to find YouTube footage of that than of Putin invading Crimea.

    “he does seem slightly more relevant that the Rothschilds”

    In Russia no doubt but not over here. He doesn’t quite have the clout to get Mandelson and Osborne together for little chin-wag on his yacht.

  • Mark Golding

    Well Giyane President Bashar al-Assad is certainly no heir to Hannibal albeit let us consider British and US credibility when drawing that ‘red line’ -it had to be prepared to enforce its will – cred is big in Britain.

    The MSM told us the ‘red line’ was the response to Assad’s regime having chosen to poison its enemies on a scale unknown since the days of Saddam Hussein. In prep for this I know the Royal Navy was frenetic about giving it’s Type 45 destroyer the launchers to fire cruise missiles.

    No, they want Assad gone in the same way as Gaddafi, in fact, I would be very surprised if no plan exists in B51 MI6 to take him out using certain buddies in Group 13 once active in Northern Ireland.
