Hillary Clinton is American, owned by financial interests to whom she is completely in thrall, a rabid neo-conservative warmonger, completely uncritical of Israel and focused for any claim to be progressive entirely on identity politics. Which is also a precise description of today’s Guardian newspaper. The once august and intellectual title is now a shrill cheerleader for far right Blairites and wealthy American feminists.

The Guardian is as unabashed in its support for Clinton as in its support for the Blairites. The stream of “feminist” articles about why it would advance the cause of women to have a deeply corrupt right winger in the White House is steadily growing into a torrent. It is a perfect example of what I wrote of a month ago, the cause of feminism being hijacked to neo-conservative ends.

Bernie Sanders is not perfect – nobody is. But he understands that obscene and still burgeoning wealth inequality is the greatest problem of western society, and that the state framework supporting crazed banking structures is the root cause of this. The support for him is a sign of the inevitable popular reaction to the extreme inequality of society. Sanders is channelling that reaction effectively.

The establishment therefore circles its wagons around Hillary Clinton. The hope is that women can be persuaded it is an act of misogyny simply to stand in her way. The other great establishment hope is that the Democrat party machinery is so strong in black communities, that black Americans can be in effect ordered to vote for a woman who epitomises the system which disadvantages them, rather than an apostle of genuine change in the economic order. I retain hope the establishment may find that black Americans are cleverer than that.

The machinery used to manipulate identity politics – racial and gender – is all that Clinton has. If Clinton beats Sanders, it will be the perfect demonstration of the fact that identity politics has become the enemy of progress in society.

In the field of identity, Bernie Sanders would be the first non-Christian President of the United States. Would that not be wonderful in a country whose politicians feel the need to genuflect to swarms of religious evolution-denying nutters who believe foreign wars are good because they presage the Rapture?

And would it not be great if the first President since Carter not in thrall to Israel were Jewish?

    They were never my masters…in fact I had enormous respect for the Americans I worked with especially in the early 1970’s, but also in the 1990’s and I have never worked for an American Company – All British…

    Us British Recruited them..Americans..They were The Best – They were just so clever so communicative.. so hard working..and they listened to me…to kick the lazy British Management into shape and get the fucking thing working…by telling the truth about the problems rather than covering them up..

    O.K. most of them were burnt out by the time they were 35….but they didn’t half work hard….

    They were inspirational to me at a personal level.

    In my experience they were Total Honest.

    They might have nicked some of our Best Ideas and taken them back to America…

    But Standards in The USA really needed Improving in the 1970’s

    I didn’t realise they were so Backward till I worked on IBM stuff in the 1980’s

    Following the recent case of the rape acquittal of a big shot Saudi businessman who “fell” onto a teenager & whose penis “accidently penetrated” her, it really put the Assange case into the realms of the surreal, and the silent hypocrisy of the screaming Assange-must-face-justice-“feminists” into telling propective.

    It matters a lot which religious cloak you put on, to a Muslim. The Huguenots were die-hard rebels in Roan catholic France, persecuted by Robespierre et al. They were Trinitarians, but because they shared political persecution with the Jews in France they were influenced by Judaism’s monotheism.

    My great great grandfather spoke French, his son and grandson spoke English with a French accent, and my grandfather the subject of intense anglo-saxon ignorance and racism for having any connection to France.

    No wonder so many immigrants rapidly marry true blue Englishmen and adopt plush English tones to hide their past. A bit like Like Sanders in the US.

    Any way English racism and colonialism is detested throughout the world and I find it most extraordinary that after WW2 the blairites and the Tories have both decided not only not to leave their ugly history behind, but to give it a re-birth in earnest, by engaging so heartily in the War on Islam.

    This is something anybody who has Celtic or any non-anglos=saxon DNA, like Craig, Italian-Scottish British cross, cannot abide, however high they may have climbed up the slippery pole of british society. you get to a point when you look the Jack Straws and the Phillip Hammonds in the eyeball and say ‘ get lost you evil swine’.

    Since Wales was one of the first industrialised societies it attracted folk from all over the World, hence in my neck of the woods we have a plethora of Irish, Polish, Italian, Spanish, French surnames – we also used to have a small, but vibrant Jewish community, which has all but dissipated due to our economic decline, but on the whole I’ve always found Wales a sociable country to live in, but one that has suffered greatly economically since deindustrialisation took root from the mid-70’s onwards.

    As stated, I’m proud of my heritage and fully aware of what it is like to be considered second class citizens in your own country, hence I take my socialism seriously and usually wish harm to no man. And yes, England has a lot to answer for, be it in Wales, Scotland or Ireland, never mind those nations further afield that were raped and pillaged in pursuit of mammon, of which little made its way back to the actual workers.

    Hence it saddens me to see a rise in racism within by country, be it the UKIP or more rightwing groups – a look at the 2010 voting record makes uneasy reading and in my mind brings shame to us all.

    I was riding high I was on my second (almost wife) in fact she is the spittin’ image of an American girl currently in jail I mentioned before) and I got blown away again..I mean fcuck if you virtually live with a girl for a year or more – then you are going to almost consider yourself man and wife – and its O.K. getting blown away..that is not the real heartache..The real heartache is when you are just so young and you just love her so much..that you dare not ask her for a date..cos you just know she will blow you away..and then you will have to commit suicide…

    We were living in St. Margarets for 6 months – just over Richmond Bridge when we first moved to London…and she has got a very good memory too…

    She said we went to see Thin Lizzy at The Hammersmith Odeon and got the bus home.

    I remember seeing Thin Lizzy – The Most Powerful Bass ever – Even more powerful Than Lemmy..but I don’t remember getting the bus home…I thought it was the Marquee in Soho…no she said that was later…when we moved closer..

    Jessica Reznicek, 34, an Iowa peace activist, was arraigned yesterday and charged with two felonies for breaking three windows with a sledgehammer at the Northrup Grumman facility outside the Omaha Nebraska Strategic Air Command at Offut Air Force base. After her court appearance she was returned to the Sarpy County Jail where she has remained on $100,000 bond since her action on December 27. Reznicek, who has no plans to post a cash bond, is facing up to twenty years in prison if convicted on both counts. Her trial is set for May 24.

    Ehsan Abdulaziz, 46, has been accused of rape by an 18 year old. His DNA was found in her vaginal swabs, yet he claims that “nothing ever happened”. Most unbelievably of all, Abdulaziz claims that he accidentally fell on the teenager and may have penetrated her as a result. He was acquitted after just 30 minutes of deliberation. Sign this petition to ask for a fair retrial.

    In a rarely granted exception, Abdulaziz was even allowed to give 20 minutes of his testimony in private. Please let Southwark Crown Court know that the public will not accept preferential treatment in a court of law, and that wealthy citizens must face the same legal proceedings as anyone else.
