Hearty congratulations from one father to another. Yes we had a blog of our daughter from once we knew she was en route (in her mother’s stomach) and it continues to this day. Apparently we are geeky for doing that but hey, she is special.

So congratulations from afar to the three of you ! A life changing experience.

So register cameronmurray dot org dot uk quickly.

The very best congratulations. Has anyone jammed a cigar in your mouth yet? I’d send you a jpeg of a cohiba but there seems to be no facility for it.

Add my voice to the collective wishing mother and son well.

How relieved, happy and proud you must be! Warm congratulations to you and Nadira and a long, happy and prosperous life to Cameron,

Congratulations to you both, and welcome to Cameron. You can only become more radical now, when you have such a personal stake in the future!

Ah-hah! You didn’t tell that us a shotgun was involved at this recent wedding of yours.

May we strive for a peaceful and beautiful world for all the little Camerons out there.

Phew! That was a long time in labour. Congratulations to you both – you must all be exhausted.

What I find amazing is that aspects of a child’s personality are evident before birth. My two children were very different even while in their mother’s womb.

“Your children come through you, but not from you” as Kahlil Gibran observed.

Welcome to this beautiful but wicked world Cameron. You father will make it a better place.

    Congratulations to the proud parents.

    Congratulations, young Cameron!

And congratulations to your mum and dad as well.

Congratulation Craig! More power to your — erm — arm… Best wishes for Nadira and Cameron too. Despite the desperate overpopulation, I can never quite believe that this is a matter for anything but rejoicing.

Congratulations to you both . Great name too. It’s in my family. I hope Cameron grows up to see a freeer, fairer, safer world …. well, you’ll keep trying to make it so, I know.

Congratulations to Cameron for being born on a day significant for both the Central Asian and the Western European strands of his genetic inheritance. Uzbekistan became an autonomous Soviet Republic on 12 May 1925; and the same day in 1812 marked the birth of Edward Lear. Congratulations also to Craig and Nadira for following the example of the Owl and the Pussycat – “O let us be married! too long we have tarried”.

Much happiness to all three of you!

Warmest wishes for the future and congratulations all round. Let’s make this a world fit for Cameron to live in.

PS: Been away for a few days, Craig, and just caught up with your answers to my comment on the McCanns. (2May)You may be right. I can’t tell. And I have to confess that my parenting and husbanding skills, in my earlier life, were abyssmal. So I’m no-one to judge. Making a better fist of it now as just-slightly-wiser step-father and wolf-grandaddy (that’s a non-Christian, shamanic version of a god-grandfather). I’m sure you’ll do a better job for Cameron than I ever managed for my earlier chicks. Good on yer!
