The Third Man 99

This is the link for the video recording of the Public Administration Committee meeting at which Paul Flynn MP was prevented from asking questions about the role of the third man, Matthew Gould, in the Fox-Werritty plot to promote a war with Iran.

The key action starts 1 hour and thirty minutes in (use the slider). The actions of long term paid zionist shill Robert Halfon – whose whole career has been bought and paid for by Werritty’s main sponsor Poju Zabludowicz – and the neo-con committee chairman, Bernard Jenkin, in suppressing free speech by an MP are despicable. Anyone who does not believe there is a fierce Tory cover-up of Gould’s role must watch this. Anyone who believes parliamentary democracy is still more than a sham should watch it too.

Which brings me to the extraordinary refusal of my freedom of information request for the Gould/Werritty correspondence. The refusal of my request came back in just one hour and fifteen minutes – about three weeks shorter than usual – and astonishingly at 11.31pm. The FCO refuses to meet its Freedom of Information Act obligation to provide the Gould/Werritty correspondence because it would be “too costly” to do so.

But did not Sir Gus O’Donnell just conduct a full and thorough investigation into the role of Adam Werritty in association with Liam Fox? And would not such a full and thorough investigation have gathered together all the relevant documentation, and particularly correspondence between Werritty and senior British diplomats?

There are two alternatives. Either the material is already collected, in which case there is no cost to collecting it, and the response to my Freedom of Information request is both illegal and a deliberate lie. Or the documentation was never collected and the Gus O’Donnell investigation was a complete sham.

Either is not good. Yet there is no other possible explanation.

    Nice one Komodo on Jenkin.
    .
Craig, is it true that ambassadors knowingly have meetings with the intelligence services of countries to which they are the Queen’s servant? I know they are likely to be there, and that they use electronic surveillance gadgetry. But are ambassadors invited to meet officials and the intelligence services openly?

  • CanSpeccy

“and the response to my Freedom of Information request is both illegal and a deliberate lie. Or the documentation was never collected and the Gus O’Donnell investigation was a complete sham.”
    .
Illegality, lies and complete sham. Isn’t that to be expected from a government of war criminals facing an opposition of war criminals?
    .
The only party “committed to putting the interests of the British people first”, i.e., the BNP, appears to be a security services op intended to identify whatever people actually want with “far-fight-wingism.
    .
Maybe the time is ripe for some people opposed to illegality, lies and complete sham to put together a new party that actually is committed to “putting the interests of the British people first.”
    .
They’ll have their work cut out though. I see Tommy Rotten, aka Stephen Yakuza-Lennon and the EDL are getting into the game, just to make sure the “far-right-wingism” label sticks to all those with the temerity to claim that they are “putting the interests of the British people first.”

Canspeccy, I enjoy living in a multicultural society, as I’m sure you do. I’m not a whiteist or a rightist. I don’t judge people by their religion or non-religion. I’ve travelled. What I would like to see is an egalitarian society where Indians, West Indians, Japanese, Chinese, Israeli, Palestinian (and all those I’ve failed to mention) are not ashamed to marry British people, who have come to trust British people.
    .
We know a lot about the Darwinian theory of evolution, but Lamarck was not totally wrong. A long time ago I read a book by Arthur Koestler called “The case of the midwife toad” about a man called Paul Kammerer, who committed suicide because he was accused of tampering with specimens to prove his Lamarckian case. While I was in no position to test out Koestler’s speculation, in favour of Kammerer, I learnt from the book that salamanders change their skin colour according to the environment in which they live. Anyway I have seen this in people in Birmingham. We are all the same. And people need to understand that.

What I can’t understand is what you are saying in relation to the blog. Is it that Jewish people, or people of Jewish descent, should not be allowed to serve on parliamentary committees. I read your article and have to say it disturbed me.

  • Franz

    John:
“I found the problem. It was with Firefox settings. I could watch it using Explorer, but my understanding is Firefox is safer than Explorer.”
    .
Don’t believe everything you read about Firefox being cuddly because it’s open source. The Mozilla Foundation, which produces Firefox, is owned by AOL-Time Warner.
    .
I work on the assumption that whichever browser I use, all my Web activity is being uploaded to somebody’s database. But what can you do, rely on BBC TV for news? :\
    .
(As for Google Chrome… It’s part of the terms and conditions of usage that Google can use your browsing history for any purpose it, or its “partners”, likes.)

Well at least he puts his cards on the table. Best just to ignore this stuff, there’s no argument to be had.

    .
What on earth are you talking about. My article says nothing whatever about Jewish people or people of Jewish descent. The article does not include the word “Jewish.”
    .
You seem to need reading glass or classes in remedial reading. Or are you just attempting the usual lib-left smear of any person with views different from your own?

  • CanSpeccy

    Franz said,

    .
As a matter of fact, Franz, the cards you imagine I put on the table were place there not by me but by John Gross.
    .
But it seems to be a general rule here, that any reference to the fraudulence of the BNP or the EDL triggers a smear attack. That’s quite interesting, isn’t it.

  • Jives

Whether it was Gus O’Donnell himself or his toadying underlings that let the GOD acronym run should be run out of town real quick.

    Fuckin’ grotesque wankers.

  • Jives

    @ Canspeccy

“But it seems to be a general rule here, that any reference to the fraudulence of the BNP or the EDL triggers a smear attack. That’s quite interesting, isn’t it.”

Nail/Hit/Head…the whole game is a recherche spook beanfeast.

  • CanSpeccy

But my argument, to rephrase it for those who might wish to grasp it, was:
    .
British politics is dominated by three parties committed to imperial wars that by the Nuremburg standard, constitute criminal wars of aggression. The only party that stands against these wars for oil and empire is the BNP and its derivatives, which are led in a way that makes any supporter open to a charge of racism, bigotry, fanaticm, far-right-wingism, etc., which just seem all too convenient for the war criminal parties.
    .
And the implication is that democracy in Britain is a shamocracy. The fact that Craig Murray’s request for clarification on the role of Gould, Werrity and Fix in possible secret negotiations with Israel to launch a war on Iran has been met by illegality and lying covered by a sham investigation supports that contention.
    .
Incidentally, I looked at the video at the one hour and thirty minutes point and saw only some boring balding bloke blathering on about some survey on how many of his subordinates were aware of some bureaucratic rubbish. Not having another hour and a half to spare, I never did see Mr. Halfon running interference to prevent any serious questions being addressed. If anyone has the exact time, I’d be glad if they will make a note here.

  • Jives

I’ve had 3 pints tonight and have probably been a tad lippy on the comments on CiF site. But i did drop Craig’s web address.I expect to be moderated very soon.Would some more articualte/intelligent posters than i please add a few comments on this link? I think David Mitchell is Ok but it still seems a deflective piece.

    Cheers..Jives/DreadMorayEel.

Probably right. When I saw that prissy bloke blabbing on, I felt so glad I’d quit the government before I’d passed the prime of life!

    LOL

Which one though? From where i’m sat there’s a feckin’ conveyor belt of them…

    .
No, mate, there are any number of little parties. Some of them even have MPs. What are you bringing the BNP up for?

  • CanSpeccy

Anon, said: What are you bringing the BNP up for?

Look, I gave you an explanation. I cannot give you an understanding.

If there are anti-war parties in parliament who get to be the center of attention on BBC’s “Question Time” and represent views that a large proportion of the population of Britain say they would support, my apologies for not mentioning them. I just never heard of them.

“Referring to recent anti-Iran rhetoric by the US and Israel, Brigadier General Yadollah Javani said on Saturday that Iran will not just repel enemy attacks and is capable of countering hostile attempts within enemy territory.
    .
“If Israel fires a missile towards our nuclear or critical facilities, it should know that every inch of Israel including its nuclear centers are a target for our missiles [to hit] and we have this capability today,” the Iranian general said.”

let’s face it, the US has but one industry – the military/industrial complex, and if they can’t keep wars going, they are in even deeper financial trouble (in the minds of the pollies/MSM at least):

April 2010: Truthout: Dave Lindorff: More Than 53 Percent of Your Tax Bill Goes to the Military
Meanwhile, Iran, which the White House and Congress are portraying as America’s arch enemy despite its not having invaded another country in hundreds of years, isn’t even on the list of the top 17 military big spenders. Iran’s current military budget is a teensy $4.8 billion, about the same as the estimated $5 billion spent on the military by North Korea – America’s other “major enemy.” Each of those country’s military budgets is about one-quarter of the military budget of Australia, or a third of the military budget of the Netherlands.
Just to give one an idea of how small $4.8 billion is in comparison to the $1.6 trillion that the US is spending each year on war and planning for war, that number is roughly what the Pentagon plans to spend over the next year on child care and youth programs, morale and recreation programs and commissaries on its bases! It’s about what the Pentagon will spend acquiring replacement Seahawk, Chinook and Blackhawk helicopters this year…

Yup, Craig is name-checked in the Indy article, well done. Something has got through. Of course, the propaganda model requires that sometimes truth gets through, all in order to make the lies more believable. Still, I suspect Mr Murray will be getting a few more hits on this article, from those who want to follow it up, which is A Good Thing.
    .
I wonder, am I understanding the seriousness of this right? Because by my reckoning, Gus O’Donnell’s job is on the line, and a more serious enquiry is possibly on the cards. Which means that every other politician running a shadow-policy should be concerned. And there seems to be a few of those.
    .
By the by, it really is interesting isn’t it how stories can be made to magically disappear. Chomsky is right when he says the propaganda model is a scarily effective model, and much more successful than the Stalinist variety. The silence, after the brief noise, is eerie.

Here’s the shill’s amusing (not) Blog page on the debate on Libya in the Commons on 1 November 2011.

Try not to vomit when you read the exchanges with Daniel Kawczynski MP.

Halfon: “Yesterday, I met Mr Luzon, who is a senior Jewish politician, in the House of Commons. He is known by the key people in the transitional council, who, he said yesterday, invited him back to work with the Government and perhaps stand for office, which is a very encouraging sign.”

    Craig
Banning Stephen to outer darkness was not nice. Maybe trust in government is the backbone to his whole life, his marriage, his job, his inner integrity. Maybe he has served as a soldier and killed for his country and cannot cope with the idea that governments lie. Not everyone has learnt your cynicism and you only learnt it the hard way.
    Canspeccy
Your argument that we should pay attention to what the BNP put on the outside of the tin is pathetic. The BNP is racist. Full stop. The other parties call themselves green. Everyone knows it’s advertising trash. Being racist is totally and completely different from disagreeing with the philosophy or beliefs of people who happen to have come from other countries. We have to find out where other people are coming from, not just look at where they come from, don’t we? Mutual exchange of culture and ideas?
We may take exception to the political reasons for immigration, such as the sweetener for East European countries not to slide back into the former Soviet block. i.e. Poles taking our jobs, but most of us cope with the frustration by recognising that our politicians are trying to make the world a safer place for us.
When our politicians make alliances with people who cause chaos, for purely colonial purposes, for oil, such as UK putting Saddam and later Shi’a in power in Iraq, or Gaddafi and then Bel Hadj in Libya, we should raise hell.
Also, there is a difference between our government lying for the Zionists, who control the banks, and who want to use our war machine to eradicate Islam, and the protection of our security through passport QE.
