One Turbulent Ambassador 195

It is really wonderful to be back home again after almost six weeks travelling. It is also a tremendous pleasure to be able to announce this:

ONE TURBULENT AMBASSADOR
A play by
Robin Soans
A World Premiere
Directed by
Jessica Swale
One Turbulent Ambassador follows the career of Craig Murray on
his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador and Plenipotentiary
to the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2001.
Murray’s proximity to post 9/11 Iraq forces him into a political
minefield that neither he nor the Foreign Office could have
envisaged. When he walks into a bar in Tashkent late one
Monday night and sees a beautiful belly dancer arching her
limbs, his personal life threatens to become as turbulent as
the political landscape around him.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see the world premiere of Robin
Soans’s newest play, researched and developed in collaboration
with LAMDA students.
Please note that this production contains strong language and
scenes of an adult nature.

Uzbek, there are so many Russian crooks, oligarchs, mafia, whatever you want to call them, living in this country it beggars belief. And it is a problem. But the worst, as I see it, is not Russian. Ahmed Chalabi is an Iraqi. He is to blame for creating false knowledge that Iraq had WMDs. He’s wanted in Jordan for money stolen from investors in the Petra Bank he set up there. In my opinion, when they send Abu Qatadi to Jordan they should put Chalabi on the same plane!

Alert Grauniadistas may have spotted in yesterday’s “corrections” column, a reference to a letter about Israel which has been pulled from the web edition due to its breach of Community Trust guidelines. Could someone have conceivably complained? Ah, yes. But a sympathetic website reproduces the offending passage. Irony is lost on cifwatch.

We will all know better than even to think that one again, won’t we? Poor old Guardian. It does its best to suppress debate about (censored) and what happens? No gratitude, some people.

If only all crooks could be put on the planes and sent back from the UK to their homes where no doubt they are very UNwelcome. Imagine for once many fold drop in luxury property market prices in places like Chelsea, Knightsbridge etc. But no. London as many centuries age remains the capital where marble palaces are built on bones of innocent people from around the world and where their blood is what keeps Stock Exchange alike places spinning.
    .
As for Iraqi criminals. Does anyone know what happened to over a billion of USDs that were stolen from Bagdad just before Saddam played I am innocent and I am hiding? Have they appeared in London, NYC, Dubai yet?

I know, John. Fair astonished me, it did. (Censored)’s usually so reluctant to involve itself in other peoples’ business.

    Komodo,
The irony is indeed lost, reading the replies in the place is a black comedy, I have never laughed so much, clearly indicating the mood of participants: totally untethered from reality, and residing in a hermetically sealed ziozio capsule.

As for the Guardian, it’s now well-established as Britain’s Stormfront-lite, a hang-out for Jew-baiters. If the Americans could spare a drone, I’d happily pilot it towards Guardian Towers

Now is that not a threat, or planning and stuff and so forth for an act of terrorism? If it were on a Muslim website then the world would have been all too angry to root out the “hateful” terrorists and hang them by the goolies from the yard arm in the HMS pinafore, or some other ticketed event.

Thanks for the laugh you old “iguana” (yeah I know they are vegetarian hippies), just to get your ire raising to get your blood temperature up, for even more posts!

Ghadry’s taken down his blog “for personal reasons” (he probably has relatives still in Syria, and maybe even cares about their fate) but some of it is still cached. Unlike the Grauniad letter I mentioned above. The cache URL, if you can find it at all, gives a 404 error and apologies from Google. Memory hole stuff, if it were not for every apologist for Israel on the web copying the salient passage from each other. Lulz.

    Straw: bit of history here.
Prime Minister Tony Blair (and hence Straw – K) must have been aware of these issues. His much vaunted meeting in the desert with Gaddafi in 2004 would surely have covered such matters. But if it did not, the conclusion one is forced to draw is that MI6 were not including reports on the running of the rendition system in their intelligence briefings at Downing Street. We might therefore fairly ask who runs Britain?

    .
Surly not only they (Blair, Straw etc) knew about rendition, but they are now trying to keep brave (and innocent) faces. Have they known back in 2004 that few years later they will unleash spirits of evil on Gaddafi, would have they been more reluctant to help him to catch fugitives, would head of MI5,6 have sent letter of congrats to Gaddafi? I think they would have. This is because ever since beginning of times empires put immediate short term interests before long term benefits. Take Roman divide and rule, take European balance of power, take support of Nazis in Germany against communists, take dozens of proxy wars during cold war, take post cold war pre and post 9/11 wars they all show clear prevalence of short term gain vs long term interests.

As one wise man said ‘One man’s terrorist another man’s freedom fighter’ and vice versa.

I only wonder when Karimov’s time comes, if ever.

Couldn’t agree with you more, Uzbek. No-one’s doing strategy any more (at least in the West – Putin’s still a chess player) – it’s all about tactical gains (often illusory) and linear thinking. But what can a mere government do? Ultimately it is the bankers and hedge funds who run the show.

  • John Goss

Komodo, I’m asking who runs Britain myself. All the indicators point across the Atlantic, but there is a big Zionist influence too. Every time I read something from Dr Jim Swires I know I am going to be reading common sense. And I feel so sorry for a man who lost his daughter in the Lockerbie crash who has been lied to time and again from those who run Britain.

I have opposite view. I think that those who by large have big mansions in London’s west end and prefer to communicate with each other inside closed circles of clubs and societies are those who really run not only Britain but Washington and the rest of the world. Uncle Sam is believed to be blamed for all evil but most of it I believe architected on this side of Atlantic. Sometimes it takes Uncle Sam’s involvement to bend ‘wrong’ government but all in all Uncle Sam is amateur comparing to real professionals who by centuries developed their methods of global poisoning ideals.
    .
One good book I read some time ago. It is called Myth of American Diplomacy. Quite an interesting piece of work.
    .
Advice is to read it before you blame Zion for everything that is wrong.

Uzbek in the UK, I did not just blame Zionist influences, but as I haven’t read the book you recommend I cannot comment on it. What I can comment on is that many of the Russians over here living in London that you refer to as the ones dictating to the other side of the Atlantic are Jewish including Roman Abramovich, Leonard Blavatnik and Boris Berezovsky. You can add dozens more to the list if you want but some of the sites using Google search are a bit suspect in their bias, ranging from Jew-watch to the Jewish Chronicle.

Roman Empire was the sole superpower in the Mediterranean region for something in excess of 600 years, and was the strongest power in the region for another century or two on either side of those 600 years.

I wouldn’t say Roman divide and conquer was such a short-term strategy.

    John Goss,
    .
At the turn of the 20th Century my great-grand-father, a ‘reporter’ for the ‘London Standard’ warned of the designs of Theodor Herzl saying, ‘his works threaten the acceptance and integration of Judaism and promote anti-Semitism as a cloak to hide the worse of his ideals.
    .

Later manipulations of world wars enabled the Zionist to acquire land and natural resources forcing and harassing millions of helpless people into the desert, to starve, die and suffer while establishing what intelligent observers refer to as the counterfeit State of Israel. In the fulfillment of this project, they indulged in genocide, slaughter and every known form of barbarism that could be executed to an oppressed and defeated populace.
    .
In 1967 they seized the entire Holy Land and invaded Jordan and Egypt and announced their purpose through their cardinal Zionist spokesman, Ben-Gurion, who said, “We shall make of this the Supreme Court of Mankind.”
    .
Today again through manipulation, conspiracy and control, Zionist have influenced, swayed and brain-washed the American administration to support sanctions and war in Iraq killing millions of children, undermined democracy in Egypt by supporting military rule with weapons and greenbacks, promoted Saudi puppets to promote civil war in Syria, crush popular uprisings in Bahrain and the Middle-East and move to popularise and nurture smashing Iran using lies and propaganda.
    .
    I thank my g-g-father for his insight…

Uzbek, whichever side of the Atlantic the planning is done, the decisions are made elsewhere, by Allah.
The biggest transfer of power in my lifetime in the UK was at the hands of Mrs Thatcher, and the decision to liberalise capital and export manufacturing abroad.
The people who make the decisions are not the people in public office, but the people who have served their political apprenticeships serving their elders until retirement and who then become privy councillors, grey men in the corridors of power.
Craig did not stay the course, because the course is incompatible with the temperament of a man of action. You have to spend 50 years patiently implementing the wrong ideas by the wrong people who formulated their ideas about the world as it was 70 years before. In other words my contemporaries, ( I am 57 ) are not the ones who have crafted Thatcherism or the war on terror. My contemporaries are not yet in the process of picking up the tools of power, but when they do, they will be installing the values they learnt in the ’60s, while the designers of what we call Thatcherism and then the war on terror were brought in the age of Churchill, Empire and World Wars.

Today we are reminded of the Holocaust, Vad Yashem ceremonies in Israel and elsewhere, still our publicly funded BBC is transmitting fisted fascists salutes by a mass murderer to his global supporters. Could it be the birthday of Adolf today? what utter irony….

I shall now have a look at the other 420 celebrations, also happening all over the world today. What would happen if this information is put on leaflets and left in hospitals and cancer wards up and down the country? Hmm, I think we’ll have some very pissed off cancer patients and, eaqually, cheesed charities apparently looking for the cure but never getting there…

As I have gone on record already, the agenda of the “news” organs engaged in a staged narrative, is to do the thinking for the population. Here is further proof that the so called “news” editors are prepared to even discard and ditch main stream political figures in their haste to step up the hatred of Islam as their main objective (given the Norway trials boost for anti “Multi Culti” agenda).
    ,
    Here is what BBC spokesman has to say;
A BBC spokesman said: “We would like to hear from all the candidates in a studio debate but this is a big logistical challenge and we appreciate it might not be possible. It is up to individuals to decide whether to take part.
    ,
“The BNP has demonstrated evidence of electoral support – over a series of different types of elections and by winning representation in the London Assembly in 2008 – for which we will give them proportionate coverage”.

    ,
    Ken Livingston is pulling out of the debate, and hats off to him, note the point that he raises;
    ,
“We have been in negotiation about a debate with the main candidates for BBC London 94.9 – but only now have we been informed that the BNP had been invited to take part in this debate, and this has been confirmed to us today (Friday). I will not share a platform with the BNP and it is a point of principle to me that I never will do.”

Which entity benefits from the constant barrage of racist bilge the most?
Which entity practices sectarian Apartheid as a matter of national policy?
Which entity has been intent on spreading hatred of Islam as their main objective in combating the moral backlash against; occupation, ethnic cleansing, land theft, mass murder, and constant attacks on all its neighboring countries?

Never mind reading books about “Myths”, the reality is plain for all to discern, otherwise why such an industry is in place to hide the plain facts in the plain sight?

Mark, your great grandfather had great insight. The question is: what do we do about the threat? What does Syria do about the threat? What does Iran do about the threat? The news is often presented in such a way that most people are brainwashed against any alternative viewpoints. Because the BBC supports anti government forces in Syria everybody believes the Syrian government, which appears to have been trying to stick to the ceasefire, is the aggressor. Journalists are embedded with the anit-government forces, and it is their viewpoint which is always presented. I never see any embedded journalists with the government forces. Yet when the US or UK are invading countries the only journalists with a viewpoint are embedded with the government forces, unless they want to be shot by the government forces. That is not to say I am a supporter of Assad. Anybody that gets to power has some seedy side to his or her character. But I do like to see balance. I’m guessing your great grandfather was a good reporter.
