Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22278

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

I wonder about where Fred Humphries, the perfectly French speaking airforce trained intelligence unit guy had been on sept. 5th?

Perhaps some camping at a French lake?
Did he meet another intelligence unit trained airforce guy there who claims to be British?

What did Humphries do at the Boeing facility in WA? Helping to construct a 747? I doubt so. He lived there for some time.

Anyone detected any ripples from the Al Hilli killing in the drone technology “industrial/military complex”. Any opinions circulating there BB, Felix, NR? Might possibly throw up some leads who knows?

CORRECTED VERSION – anybody like to send this or similar? (I haven’t!)

    Along the lines of:

    Dear Adjudant Christophe PIERRETTE,

I am one of many people around the world impressed by the speed and courage with which your rescue service responded to the tragedy that took place on Combe d’Ire on the 5th September, 2012.

The Annece Prosecutor, M. Eric Maillaud has publicly stated that the first call alerting the emergency services, including presumably your own, was made by the British “ex-RAF Pilot” Mr Brett Martin. In a television interview on the 10th September Mr Martin said he tried to phone using his mobile phone but it had no signal, so he failed to get through. I understand a call was subsequntly placed by M. Philippe Didierjean, who he met whilst seeking help but this must have been much later than 3.48.

It would be appreciated by the many who have taken an interest in this case, if you could could clarify at what time the emergency call was logged, who made it and whether sufficient information was given to enable you to so quickly assess the nature of the incident and the precise remote location. Can you confirm your men arrived on scene at 4.20 pm as has been stated?

It would appear your colleagues were the first to arrive, and attended despite the possible danger that may have still been present, for which they deserve the highest commendation.

    Yours etc.

  • Katie

It strikes me you have your wires crossed Tim.

I was not talking about emergency calls to emergency services, I can see why you are going on about Maillaud now, go back to where I said calling/alerting the …. ‘Embassy’ = which is why they sent so many ‘military types’ !
We have shown there are at least three ways this could have been done.

  • bluebird

    Any coincidence?

    BM:
    Ex Raf trained
    Worked for Boeing
    Intelligence related
    Speaking French

    Humphries:
    Ex Airforce trained
Lived in Boeing facility in WA
    Intelligence trained
    Speaking French

The only difference: Humphries hadnt been interviewed after 9/5 in chevaline. BM was the one being selected for the media.

Can we create any connections between Humphries and BM?
Can we create any connections between Rafael Prieto and Humphries?

There you go again, confusing the issue! I think Tim was responding to my comments about the sapeurs pompier.

Please try to link your comments like I do to make it easier to follow the thread, then you shouldn’t get your wires crossed again!

  • Katie

No it wasn’t Mochyn, there YOU go again….both of you are longing to find fault, both of you are wrong.
It is noticeable how Tim has been proved wrong three times over & not a word of recognition about it.

Go to the previous page & catch up !

wHILST ON THE SUBJECT OF VEHICLE THAT CAUSED THE TRYE MARKS AT THE OPP END OF THE LAYBY i HAVEN’T NOTICED ANYONE HERE comment what appears to be the exhaust soot mark left on the ground slightly to the RHS. I have had a quick look at different 4×4 models and it doesnt correspond to any of them. For anyone in the know (mechanics/car fanatics) this is such a distinctive feature it might well be enough to identify make and model. Correct me if I’m wrong, but looking at photos the Pajero appears to have exhaust on the opposite side (LHS when viewed from the front) which if correct would rule it out. Perhaps a knowledgeable 4×4 person could tell us what 4×4 diesel has an exhaust that terminates where indicated by the photo?

Perhaps it is worth noting that military bios are subject to change. In the case of Russell Williams, when the news of his crimes first broke, his bio stated that he had attended a military college where a young cadet mysteriously died. Then the location of the military college was changed to another city. This was noticed by the media.

I take them with a grain of salt. There are glaring omissions sometimes, and trademark fairy tale alterations at others.

Hey Katie!@ Katie 25 Nov, 2012 – 4:59 pm I make no claim to being infallible but please don’t confuse haste, or spelling mistakes or or obvious lapses in memory on my part for “being wrong”. Your slant appears so supportive of the official line even when it is so palpably wrong, I am rather cautious as to where you are coming from. Nor have I any person animus towards you or your ideas in fact I accepted Al Hilli MIGHT have had one of your 007 watches and put in an emergency call to someone via satellite. Do I think it likely given the frantic circumstances. And why if he had would Maillaud have lied and covered up by saying Martin did the call?

  • Tim V

CORRECTED! – Hey Katie!@ Katie 25 Nov, 2012 – 4:59 pm I make no claim to being infallible but please don’t confuse haste, or spelling mistakes or or obvious lapses in memory on my part for “being wrong”. What would be the problem in saying SAH had made an emergency call before he had been shot, if he had?

  • Mochyn69

That’s rich, that is coming from our ‘there’s no way you can tell me I’m wrong Tim, as you have no idea what happened or what is right’ Katie isn’t it !!

But she can tell you that you’re wrong as many times as she likes! One rule for you, another for her. Strange.

  • Katie

Tim you still haven’t got it, yes you are trying to block any other possibilities, read again my comment……. I AM TALKING ABOUT AN EMBASSY CALL, BM & MAILLAUD WERE TALKING ABOUT AN EMERGENCY CALL TO EMERGENCY SERVICES !!!

I said a satellite phone is the favoured option, you seem to think there is no possibility of a call being made but it is very possible the shooting started whilst AH was actually on the phone telling the embassy he’d arrived at the arranged place & was waiting for the contact.
Women also know how to work a phone you know, there were two in the car not driving anyway !

What I’m saying has nothing to do with Maillaud.
Although I watched that first press conference & it was clear the guy knew B’all, he was winging it……..Surely you don’t expect him to admit it ?
You may or may not know also the relationship between him & the Gendarmes is fraught & sharing info is competitive.

So to recap, the only reason ,in my view, that the embassy dispatched such numbers was because AH was one of them & they knew about the meet & location. They rushed to the scene to do damage limitation.

I believe the shooting was done by the forces I’ve mention from the start & it goes right back to Iraq & Obama, not space, nuclear or Iran.

    Brett Martin twitter account?

    chance 1% ???

    4 things focussed my attention:

    1. He is twittering about Delta airlines
    2. On Sept 10th he twitters that he were ROBOSCOPED. Why?
    3. He has an affination for the French part of New Orleans.
    4. He is talking about Marathons.

Maybe it is him, perhaps it isn’t him. Chances sre less than 20% tgat it is him. However, i dont want to put it into the garbage without sharing. Perhaps i was not seeing something what others might see.

“The grenade was an old serbian army grenade and sidney shot the policeguy with a 1935 constructed Magnum .357″

Just for curiosity, where did the word “constructed” originate. There is a firearms expert at MZT who doubts it was an original one “constructed or manufactured” in 1935, but a later, common one, of the same type that was originally “designed” in 1935. All the press reports I searched just said, “.357 Magnum”

Day of Ashura. most important day for Shia, compares with Christmas for christians. Time for reflection and mourning rather than joy.

Saad al Hilli in the jihadi chat rooms: Has been suggested he was ‘recruiting’ jihadi-ists in France on behalf of MI6. However we are told he read the Quran and it lay open in his home. He visited Qom (?pilgrimage). What may his feelings have been about the history of his country? British imposed puppet regimes, then Sunni dictatorship backed by the West at first. His views were anti USA, anti Israel, anti the West. He hoped to return to live there. Should we not assume that, whatever his level of commitment to his faith, he would not willingly have served Western intelligence?

Jamkaran is located on the outskirts of Qom, a popular pilgrimage site for Shi’ite Muslims. Local belief has it that the Mahdi, the Twelfth Imam (Muhammad al-Mahdi) once appeared and offered prayers there — a messiah figure Shias believe will return (together with Isa – ie Jesus) to destroy tyranny and falsehood and bring justice and peace to the world. Large crowds gather to pray and drop notes down a well to the Imam, asking for help with problems. Ahmadinejad, “reckons that the return of the Imam is imminent” When he became president he donated $20 million to Jamkaran. Tehran’s working-class faithful are convinced the new president and his Cabinet signed a ‘compact’ pledging themselves to precipitate the return of the Mahdi – and dropped it down the well.

    Just in passing —

Are you sure that’s the same chap BB ?

Sees certainty where none has been expressed (cf. 20% not equal 100%). Interesting.

Of course what you say is possible, but then it’s possible the moon is made of cheese. But you have to ask yourself is it likely? Is it probable??

According to the DM, and yes, I hate to cite the DM as a source, there is a much more plausible explanation:

‘The internet is awash with speculation – impossible to verify – that Mr Al-Hilli may have been working in some capacity in the spy world. He arrived in Britain in the late 1970s and was educated to degree level.
Intelligence officers from the British Embassy in Paris are said to have been at the scene of the murder hours after it happened at 4pm (3pm UK time) on Wednesday.
They were tipped off by contacts in the French Interior Ministry as soon as the identity of the car’s owner was confirmed.’

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2198777/French-Alps-shooting-Police-question-Saad-Al-Hillis-brother-Zaid-inheritance-row.html#ixzz2DG89b1cz

We have to subject that claim to the same scrutiny. Is it likely? Is it probable??

Certainly, there is much weirdness about these events. And all we have are press reports, so no-one should be accused of being ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. It’s all just hearsay and opinion on here. But keep digging!

  • Katie

BB, it was my way of saying,it ain’t him.

We know there are 100’s of BM’s, on the law of averages there has to be at least one doing much the same, but since when has our BM relocated to LA ?

No I don’t think this is our chap for another reason, like , would a health freak choose a smoking avatar ?

  • Katie

Yeah Mochyn, very handy believing or disbelieving the media to suit your theory & when it fits. You have all seen the misrepresenting & misinterpretation from the French, you all say lies lies & more lies, yet you cling to newspaper reports.

My theory is not from any media, but logic of the man, his family & his past.

On the contrary, I’m not believing anything, I think I made that absolutely clear, but simply weighing and testing the so-called ‘evidence’to decide what is possible, what is probable and what is unlikely.

But please do continue .. and as you reputedly live in France, would you care to write to Adjudant Christophe PIERRETTE as suggested by Tim? You never know, you might even get a reply!

SAH – on trail of Saddam money – involved with Iraqi-Shia politics – technology transfer to Iran. Opposition to these – hired killers – political linked killing – Mossad. (doublecross unliklely, ie unlikely to be someone ‘turned’ by western intelligence)

BM – has added half hour to his timing? Why? To cover up his earlier presence, either before or during the incident. He rode past the carpark and observed it from above. He was by the car and was spared. He saw the escape vehicle at the layby. He saw the killer leaving. etc etc. Hence fullest excuses about being tired and looking down with little info about escape vehicles. Not sure quite what has been withheld.
