The Al-Hilli Conundrum 6629

My post on the shootings in France has brought tens of thousands of people to this site – but not to read my dull contribution. People are coming to read the comments from other readers.

Today’s development of the bomb squad descending on the al-Hilli house does not in itself worry me enormously. You may recall the massive terror scare that was ramped up when some Muslim students in Manchester were found to own a bag of sugar.

In fact we have the opposite phenomenon today, with the spook-fed “security correspondents” on TV lining up to tell us it is probably just everyday household stuff. This deviation from the standard Islamophobic “Muslims = bombs” narrative is so startling it makes me wonder why the “move along, nothing to see here” line is being taken so quickly.

My own security services sources insist that al-Hilli was not a person of current interest to the UK intelligence agencies and was not involved in anything clandestine. I have no reason to disbelieve them. On the other hand, the limited and confusing information in the media is almost entirely from official sources. I find it very strange indeed how little attention has been paid to the murdered French cyclist, and how easily it is presumed he was just a passerby. Surely it is as likely he was the intended victim and the al-Hillis the accidental witnesses?

Please do read the comments on my first entry on the subject to see the debate unfettered by the censorship in the mainstream media. This is perhaps my favourite comment:

From Janesmith101

All comments regarding Sylvain, Al-Hilli and a possible nuclear link are being removed from sites I’ve posted on in The Guardian, Independent and Huffpo UK.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/sep/09/alps-killer-motive-baffles-police

Here was my comment, I added as a point of fact it was completely speculative and an unproven theory in a later comment, also removed.

Sylvain Mollier, the ‘passing’ cyclist, was in fact a nuclear metallurgist who worked for a french nuclear company called Cezus (a subsidiary of Areva). Cezus fabricates and processes zirconium into metal and nuclear grade zircoaloy for nuclear fuel assemblies – it also has other applications in aerospace such as components and ceramics for missiles and satellites. Mr Al-Hilli was also a skilled aerospace engineer, on what looks to be his first camping holiday.

What is the probability that two highly skilled engineers managed be at the same remote place, at the same time, yet still managed to end up dead as a result of what looks to be a military style assasination?

As someone else pointed out in The Independent comments, the deceased were found by a ‘retired’ RAF officer who, we assume, will recieve perpetual anonymity as a witness. If the police are looking for a motive, try an intercepted rendevous by a security service fixated on denying a hostile power illicit nuclear technology.

The Huffington Post UK reports that this wasn’t the family’s first trip to the camp site. An earlier report had asked other camp site visitors whether they had seen the family before and they had replied they hadn’t. If this isn’t wasn’t the first visit by Al-Hilli, it might slightly increase the odds that he knew or had met Mollier before, this being the last in a series of rendevous of a transactional nature. Mollier lived and worked locally.

Again, I’m not sure of the truth of these reports, there is some very sloppy journalism, as there is always seems to be. I’ve read for example Mollier’s company Cevus descirbed as a steel firm something which it is patently not, but perhaps it may have been a detail lost in translation.

An interesting comment summing up some of the strange coincidences, at least, surrounding these murders. My other favourite comment calls me a “macchiavellian shill”.

I have only one thought of my own I want to add at the minute. Al-Hilli was a Shia muslim and had been on pilgrimage to Qoms in Iran. What if it is indeed true that he was in possession of no especial nuclear or defence secrets to pass on to the Iranians, but the Israelis thought that he was? The Israeli programme of assassination of scientists involved in Iran’s nuclear programme is a definite fact. It makes as much sense as anything else at the moment, as a possibility.

I am not saying that is what happened. But the directions in which the mainstream media is being so strenuously pointed by official sources, like the massacre of an entire family over an inheritance, are certainly no more inherently probable. Certainly as we are now told all the shots were from one gun, for the assassin to get each victim in the head with none of them being able to escape, indicates real proficiency with the weapon and a very high level of training.

    @james

Regarding marriage of saad and iqbal

    Definitely 2003

I have the document from ancestry.com

Interesting enough, hashim al hilli (brother of khadim and father of balsam and ali al hilli) was regularly travelling from iraq to the usa in the 1950tees and 1960tees as a
passenger on the queen mary cruise ship leaving from southampton to new york.

That confirms once more that the al hilli family was never the normal average iraqi family but top ranked in politics and economy of iraq, even their fathers were top iraqi society people. Hence, even in europe only tge top society and the richest people could afford to travel into the usa on a regular base. Source: ancestry.com

    Dopey..and Mollie…

    The guys a shit !
From what I can gather…he was “caught out”.
Trouble is…why did they shoot so many ?
I understand ….they just do that.

  • bluebird

I would really like to find out in what way iqbal al-saffar and ammar-al saffer were possibly close relatives. Brother and sister? Cousin?

  • James

    I hate dong this ….BUT

Find the “acconts” f the other Co’s ????
Go look. Seek and ye shall find!

  • James

“family feud”…I dan see WHY they say that.
It’s not…but you can see why.

Where did these Co’s go ? And Why ???

  • dopey

So the unnamed source within the police who said there was a family feud but not about the will- much more far reaching than that, was right?

  • James

    I am glad !
I have to drive through France.
So happy it’s not a “Lone Nut”…although it will com out.
    But it was’t

Our Saad is deeper than that !

If we knew more about hashim or khadim al hilli then we would be two steps further. Particularly about who was the grandfather? Was it sheik muhammad radi, the first antizionist radical islamic clerik?

Did anybody ever see the second name of khadim or hashim al hilli?
Mohammad? Or khadim m.al hilli? Or khadim mohammed rida?
    That would be quite something.

    Question:
Does anybody know the name of iqbal’s father? I remenber that he was mentioned somewhere.

  • James

    Mollie…

You are looking to him and not her !
Tell me …and will show you something.

Did he have a wife ! Did she have a huband ?

  • James

    Question:
Does anybody know the name of iqbal’s father? I remenber that he was mentioned somewhere.

Bluey, I do have that somewhere. I did note it.

  • James

    Dopey !
Nope…not on speed ! On pasta

AND…yep all of your reasons to “change the locks”. are good.

But, not my words the words off his friend…

And dochange them…if you haven’t been there for awhile
Now you see what I am knowing…sorry, saying ?

Why change the locks? You had lodgers, and they’ve moved out, you’ve been burgled, you’ve lost your keys, your wife’s left you, your brother has a set of keys and you’ve fallen out, someone else has a set and you don’t want them to get into your house, you have a faulty lock needs replacing….

Darn this is fascinating, now everyone has vanished, guess I have to wait until you all wake up.
Most of it is too cryptic for me I need more clues.

James are you saying Saad worked at Dubai International airport when he was meant to be living in UK?

  • Kenneth Sorensen

I think James as a pilot just routinely uses the call sign of Dubai International Airport DBX as a designate for the whole country, which is actually a very, very tiny place. (Must look tiny from the air, which is why James as a pilot calls the whole place ‘DBX’ Dubai is known as a hub from where Iran get a lot of its stuff, getting around sanctions.

He alleges that Saad had several companies in Dubai, and that this accounts for ‘the missing years’ — and the missing companies, that James were unable to find in the UK.

James also alleges that Saad was a ‘con’ and that according to his sources (Fellow pilots flying private clients around the world) — that often means rather reactionary technically minded people with a black-and-white view of the world [actually on occasoionns working with intelligence services] — along the line of: “we are the good people and he is ‘a baddie doing shit stuff” — when in reality he could just have been running companies helping Iran to get around sanctionsm which countless of people in Dubai are doing.

People like James and his friends will literally just do what their told and keep mum and not think along the great lines, for example if those sanctions are fair.

  • Kenneth Sorensen

    Stuart Levey
He is the guy who are running the sanctions policy against Iran and who are travelling around capitals in Europe pressing them to shun any dealings with Iran. From where do he run the sanctions policy? From the Treasury Department Ministry of Finance in Washington the headquarters of America’s finance ministry, just a stone throw from The White House. Talk again of the existence of an Israel lobby?

Click on me name NOW to read my compilation of information about him. Or go directly to this piece from the BBC:

    America’s financial war on Iran

    By Mark Gregory
    International business reporter,
    BBC World Service

    {http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/6730681.stm}

  • Kenneth Sorensen

Of course my understanding was that goods to/from Iran came by boat (as they have been doing for hundreds of years) but James as pilot may know something. So was Saad flying stuff in an out. That certainly could account for him making lot of cash.

  • straw44berry

It was several comments before I got he was talking about Dubai

If he got himself in such a mess was he offed or was he allowed a way out via extraction?

  • Kenneth Sorensen

I have offered the trade angle with Iran here, as a way he could have made money in those ‘missing years’ that several of you was trying to get to grips of. [And I think those of you with search skills should investigate companies in dubai – James said it’s all there , easy to find]

But that couldn’t in itself have been so serious as to be a motive [for the crime earlier this month], and forget about this extraction stuff as it is just too far out, IMO.

  • straw44berry

If its so far out/off why are the police not investigating and the reporters not reporting?
Why stories changing unless it was all made up. All the witnesses just actors hired.
