The Medialens editors posted this. Rather over staffed out of the licence fee payers. The BBC should be dismantled.

A Christmas riddle…in fact, one for the whole year

Posted by The Editors on December 16, 2014, 10:11 am

What has 57 heads, 12 controllers and 321 editors…? BBC News

BBC News has 321 editors, according to information released under the Freedom of Information Act.

The corporation’s news division, which comprises 7,598 staff, also has 173 staff with “director” in their job title.

The BBC was asked under FoI to say how many job titles in the news division contain these words and others.

Fewer than half of BBC News staff – 3,472 – have “journalist” in their job title.

In all, the FoI (which can duplicate individuals) found there are 826 assistants, 363 producers and 57 heads.

Some 14 people have “change” in their job titles, 12 have “controller”, six have “coordinating” and 16 have “coordinator”.

In addition, there are 34 deputies, 20 executives, six managers and six people with “managing” in their titles.

The BBC employs more than 100 staff earn more than Prime Minister David Cameron, including a number of people in the news division.

They include: director of news and current affairs James Harding (salary £340,000), his deputy Fran Unsworth (£183,000), head of newsroom Mary Hockaday (£142,814), head of newsgathering Jonathan Munro (£165,000) and managing editor Keith Blackmore (£160,000).

    “The BBC should be dismantled.”

Maybe we could call for some kind of humanitarian intervention. Save us from the increasingly fascist elite. There must be dozens of countries who’ve been screwed over by the same basic establishment.

“Pretty obvious actually, they were aiming at a passenger plane. ”

Oh but I thought you were convinced it was brought down by a fighter jet? Whatever happened to that idea? You’re getting all confused again.

Actually your man admits that he’d left the military before MH17 was destroyed (that’s if he really exists) so can’t be sure what happened. Even if he’s telling the truth the launcher may have been captured or the crew may have defected with it.

Thanks for that. Judging by the pic, life has nor been good to her. It’s sad.

Thanks everybody for all the good wishes. I’m not ill and haven’t been ill, in fact I’m working my way down a rather pleasant bottle of Benjamin Darnault Minervois. I’m treating myself. Organic wines never give me a headache. I was troubled but it is other people’s burdens I am trying to shoulder at the moment. I was also a little bit worried about the robin who is my friend. Thankfully that is one minor issue resolved here. It contains also a Christmas message for everyone.

    John.

Great to see your post and to hear you are well.

I was worried for you after the mauling you received by the fantasists.

    Beautiful robin link. Thanks.

The bird’s name proves once and for all that you really are Jo Stalin after all. So don’t go denying it with more stories, otherwise I’ll have to post a link.

The chances are that Baal-Komodo, one of the baby boomers and nicely retired, is a bigger “parasite on the state” than the Chancellor (whatever “parasite on the state” means).”

Thanks -just this once – for quoting the idiot, RoS. It comes out with this kind of shit because it is convinced I read it on the sly. I don’t. There’s nothing of importance to read. I am reliant on you…As usual the Express-licking asshat is mistaken.

Perhaps it is unhappy about being a baby-boomer itself? Transference is one of its many unpleasant tendencies. Safe to assume that, if not retired, it’s undoubtedly doing an even less useful job than a cossetted and underqualified ‘adviser’ (at vast state expense) to our incompetent leadership clique. If that’s possible.

  • Sofia

Meanwhile, does anyone else have this problem? Here’s a pretty disgruntled customer…

““I’ve banged on the world a couple of times to see would that set things straight, but every time I log in, all I see is people killing each other, usually in my name, for fuck’s sake. I’ve installed a few updates which I had hoped would sort things out, I even sent the young lad down once to have a look, but that only seems to have made things worse”.

Lovely story about your friend Redbreast John.

I visited Winkworth Arboretum today, one of my favourite places at any time of the year. There were rhododendrons, camellias and even some daffodils in bloom as it is a sheltered place.

At the entrance there was a Nordmann Fir which had been hung with suet balls and strings of nuts of different types. It was alive with birds of many types but mostly tits. A lovely sight as they flew to and fro.

  • John Goss

Sofia, KoWN, Jives, Nevermind thank you. Thank you Sofia for reading about my robin.

What I meant to do also but forgot was to send my best wishes to Craig for a speedy recovery. All viruses are unpleasant. Not much lives in alcohol. Pure alcohol I think kills the lot. They use it in hospitals. I once had a glass of Polish Pure spirit 95% proof by volume. It burnt as it went down. Everybody at the bar was looking for a reaction. And they got one. 🙂

A busy few days ahead so if I’m not around that’s why.

We clear a path through the jungle of establishment delay and obfuscation and their Chief trasher of truth, Thisisgoingtohurtyoumorethanmeboy Habbabkuk fills the path with greasy sofas, black bags and broken beds.

We will get the on heat bitches Blair and Straw in court, with all their toerag sniffers and political pricks and convict them of what they have been clearly guilty of.

Lord Janner faces re-opened police probe into child sex abuse
    By David Hencke | 8 December 2014

Police have re-opened their investigation into allegations of child sex abuse against former Labour MP Lord Janner, Exaro can reveal. The police investigation halted after it was claimed that Janner was suffering from severe dementia and so was too ill to face any prosecution. But it has re-started, as officers re-interview witnesses who claim to have been sexually abused as boys by Janner.

It is a mystery why the Observer failed to name Lord Greville Janner as the paedophile abusing boys from care homes. ” I can only presume that Britain’s appalling libel laws, ”

Partly; also partly down to British Common Law whereby anyone is innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.

This is a great time and place for human glory.

When my Iraqi mother in law was a child her father used to say to her, we are a rich country. Every night you go to sleep three pounds is going to get put under your pillow. They looked then and they are still looking.

One of the principal tools during the 2003 invasion of Iraq was torture. The other was ruthless shooting anything that moved. ISIS was set up by Israel to engage in sectarian bombings to mop any other signs of life amongst the Iraqi people.

Everydog and poodle wants a sniff of the bitch on heat which is UK power, including the Deobandi mosque behind my house which wants a nice fat few hundred thousand to run a little faith school. The last thing in the world they need is for UK torture of Muslims to get between their little poodle pricks and the sniff of ready cunt.

The Deobandi Mosques support the Taliban. They spy on me and other Muslims, to try to contain the damage we do as protesters against torture of Muslims. Why do you upset the bitch on heat when we are so, so near to getting on the education gravy train, We can all have little salaries of 30 grand a year and manager salaries. Wiggle your little prickies in the UK bitches Dream.

I fell out with them last summer because of their support for the child murderers Taliban.

I want the mosque and the trolls and the FCO Chelsea Pensioners like Iain Orr to know that we are determined to get the principle co-founders of the Bush war on terror, Straw and Blair on trial in a court of international law for their introduction of a regime of torture.

It’s not going to not happen . It’s going to happen and any little politico prickies trying to access the juicy cunt of UK Power who get in the way like yapping corgis, will get put in the dog pound and turned into crunchy sausages for zoo crocodiles.

Beat it, you nasty little yapping, sniffing lad-dogs. The wholesale torturing of Muslims in the War on Terror is not going to be left unavenged.

Going back to the other hiatus-interrupted theme of the last thread, Russia, the FCO and HabbabShit would have us believe that the West has targeted Russia. Bollocks of the highest order.

Assad was one of the UK’s most reliable torturers. Brave men skirted around visiting the crawling spying machine and torture cells of Dimascus. Russia as plausible cold war enemy, but in-reality economic plaything and darling of the West, was permitted to install a sophisticated anti-aircraft defence shield for Assad.

Russia, the bad guys have subsequently taken the blame for frustrating the trilliard budget of Sunni Qatar and Saudi Arabia for bringing about regime change in Damascus. Russia, one supposes, has ( without Israeli deliveries of oil from Basra ) sponsored Assad’s barrel bombs.

A couple of half-drunk city dealers, sitting in a cafe in Dockland, could manipulate the rouble up and down like a yo-yo from their mobile phones.

FCO, FCKO land are the biggest lying shit on the face of the earth. Their aim in apparently trying to screw over Putin is purely to deceive Saudi Arabia that USUKIS has dealt them a fair hand. USUKIS are implacable enemies of Sunni Islam. Years of torture by USUKIS cronies in ships and secret prison cells dotted round the world are the proof of this fact.

The sham humiliation of Russia is an evil smokescreen to deceive the Muslim world.

Echinacea is very good for colds and flu, and much else. Best to take it before you’re struck. Builds the immune system, but will still lessen severity of symptoms when you go down:

    http://www.avogel.co.uk/herbal-remedies/echinacea-echinaforce/

Olive leaf is an even stronger tonic. Excellent for many other things as well:

    http://www.naturesanswer.com/p-786-oleopein-olive-leaf-2oz.aspx

You’ll find these preparations in the better herbal stores.

Hot lemon and cloves is ok, but hold the whiskey. It lowers immunity. Good for knocking you out and giving you temporary respite from the symptoms, but not really what you need.

Oftentimes it’s too much booze coupled to other factors like wet and cold which lowers the immune system, allowing the virus to take hold.

This wonderful book explains traditional remedies for many common complaints, as used before the Pharma giants cornered the market. A must have for every home:

Be sure and buy it from a reputable supplier.

    From SumofUs.org

We made it! Last week we reached 1 million signatures for the European Citizen’s Initiative against the dangerous TTIP and CETA trade deals.

We wanted to celebrate the milestone with Jean-Claude Juncker, the current European Commission president and the man responsible for TTIP, on his 60th birthday. Together, we made sure he had an unforgettable day.

With over 150 activists from trade unions and environmental groups, we gathered outside the Commission building in Brussels with cake, confetti and balloons and gave Juncker a giant birthday card signed by over 1 million people.

The message was clear: Europeans don’t want secret trade deals that will undermine our laws, our regulations and turn our politicians into corporate puppets. International media loved the story. Journalists from Arte, BBC and international newspapers were there to report on the action. Sadly the real Juncker didn’t show up to his party, so we had to make do with his look-alike: https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.sumofus.org/images/junkerttip.jpg

The movement against TTIP is growing bigger every day, and this is all thanks to you. Tens of thousands of us wrote in to the European Commission, telling them not to sign up to new rules that could mean companies can sue governments when they don’t like new regulations. Hundreds of people chipped in with donations to support the European Citizens Initiative. Many more complained to the European Ombudsman to demand that the talks take place in the open, under the scrutiny of European citizens.

    Thank you!

2015 will be the crucial year. The rumour is that politicians on both sides of the Atlantic want this deal signed — and the earlier, the better in their eyes.

So we need to get ready to keep fighting in 2015. Thousands of SumOfUs members have already chipped in to help us fight the battles that matter to all of us.
