    Mr Goss

““Where do you live mentally, John?”

    Well it’s not Toytown. :)”
    _______________

Let me hazard a guess – somewhat to the east of Toytown? 🙂

  • Par for the course

Truth be told, the forces of satan have taken over the Ukrainian State and are using it. Banning the Russian language was simply a ploy to provoke the separatists. The in-house devil here may be relied upon to enable us to know the bad guys in this conflict. It must be remembered this diss upon Russian blood was very adequately paid for by the Nazis, and so it will be again. This alliance of svoboda nazis and porky kapos cannot last.

So good to know I’d be a fascist if I objected to the French trying to capture Stansted. Whether or not Debaltsevo was surrounded (by people apparently armed and supplied by Father Christmas*) is a mile or two away from the point, which is that the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine was guaranteed by the Budapest treaty signatories, one of which was Russia.

*Nearest I can get to Дедушка Мороз

“But what are we meant to draw from “according to their information the possibility is strong that up to 25% of the trapped army may be NATO.”?”

That they have suspicions, and reason for those suspicions. That’s as far as I’d go. It’ll be very interesting to find out if there is any truth in it.

“BTW I honestly couldn’t remember who first posted the link. I hope you didn’t think I used “someone” as a way of avoiding using your handle – you know, in the same way as Mary makes it a point of pride always to use ‘it” or “the troll” when referring to me…. :)”

No, no, not at all. But I had said recently that “someone” asked about the Tony Blair film, and I think that turned out to be you. So that made me smile.

In my mind I live in a free country devoid of austerity, banksters and oligarchs. In the meantime I live here.

“Whether or not Debaltsevo was surrounded (by people apparently armed and supplied by Father Christmas*) is a mile or two away from the point, which is that the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine was guaranteed by the Budapest treaty signatories, one of which was Russia.”

That would have been true but for the putsch which cancelled that and forced the inhabitants of Eastern Ukraine who held a referendum to become part of Russia. So the people who should not have been in Debaltsevo or any other eastern Ukrainian town or city were the fascist Ukrainian army which waged war on its own people, and according to this report in the majority of homes civilians have been shot in the head by the Ukrainian army. I would not trust it entirely because in the headline it says all civilians (and it can’t be both). I think we will have to wait and see if this is true.

Pravda! Would that be Dmitry Sudakov’s Pravda, or the other one? Sometimes I almost think you have a sense of humour, John.

Ba’al: Your link of billionaires fell foul of http:// being helpfully converted into https:// – the latter doesn’t work. For some reason, this system likes to make that conversion.

The troll failed to take my advice to go for a brisk walk. It is such a lovely day here and the children on half term all look happy.

PS I think Private Eye is considered to be rather passé nowadays. It certainly has a capitalist editor living in a £multi million house in N London with his authoress wife.

Anyone see the photo of the Croc Wife wearing her ornate and OTT ruby and diamond necklace? The Mail alluded to the source of the diamonds being a prezzie from the Saudis. Hope they are not blood diamonds from an Israeli diamond dealer!

@Fred, a few minutes ago on BBC News 24 they had a commentator who make the interesting remark that Kiev continued fighting at Debaltsevo because they regarded it as Ukraine territory, ie not rebel controlled, so it was not subject too the Minsk ceasefire agreement !

@John, I hope you realise that you can expect even more personal attacks than usual as today is not a good day for the Junta supporters.

    @Ba’al, the issue is human rights violations happening now;

    http://www.prisonplanet.com/obama-to-give-isis-ability-to-order-airstrikes.html

The Obama administration is preparing to equip the so-called “moderate” Syrian rebels with the ability to order U.S. air strikes despite the group’s admitted allegiance to the Islamic State.

Members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) will be provided with radios to call in strikes from American B-1B bombers as well as pickup trucks with mounted machine guns as the president puts the final touches on plans to train as many as 3,000 rebels in Jordan and Turkey by the end of 2015.

“Negotiations have been concluded and an agreement text will be signed with the US regarding the training of the Free Syrian Army in the coming period,” said Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tanju Bilgic.

Looks like Jihadi Johnny and his band of merry men, will have more firepower at their backs, who needs staged beheadings, when you can summon up bombers to bring the pain.

Thanks for the warning. But I think you know I can handle it. If only the Ukraine crisis could have been settled with a few verbal exchanges, which settle all conflicts in the end.

Last night on the Chris Matthews Show, State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf demonstrated the mental disorder afflicting government bureaucrats.

“We’re killing a lot of them and we’re going to keep killing more of them,” Harf said. “So are the Egyptians, so are the Jordanians. They’re in this fight with us.

But we cannot win this war by killing them. We cannot kill our way out of this war. We need in the medium to longer term to go after the root causes that leads people to join these groups, whether it’s lack of opportunity for jobs… We can work with countries around the world to help improve their governance. We can help them build their economies so they can have job opportunities for these people.”

Did the United States build the economy of Libya or destroy it? Is the average Libyan better off now or before 30,000 of them were killed and their country destroyed by NATO warplanes and al-Qaeda mercenaries supported by the U.S

Hmm…..Let see has the US a history of helping other less fortunate countries?

Erm… I think not Central and South America have felt the wrath of the US under the guise of aid, so has Africa, and Vietnam had more munitions dropped upon it, than all the munitions combined in WWII.

    I think you misheard that.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-31519000

“Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov insisted the rebels’ actions in Debaltseve had not violated the ceasefire because it was a rebel-held city when the peace agreement was signed last week.”

Without doubt the Russians are running the so-called separatists and the responsibility for the failure of the latest ceasefire lies with them.

Absolutely agree with you on that one, Mary; the bastard should live in a large cardboard box on an abandoned building site!

Or if that’s too extreme you could perhaps offer him houseroom in your pleasant detached residence in leafy Surrey (average house price: £560.000).

@Phil: Heh, I had the same sort of problem. But so did Ba’al, and it was his fouled-up billionaire link which I was talking about.

@RoS: I’d seriously doubt if anything on the prisonplanet website. It’s run by that cynical huckster Alex Jones, who lures in dupes and then sells them gold (Buy high! Sell low!) and fortified vitamin/ virility boosting potions.

    http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/558846/Islamic-State-IS-attack-Italy-soldiers-street-Libya-immigration-Islamic-militants

Italy have tonight agreed plans to put almost 5,000 soldiers on the streets amid fears of potential attacks from Islamic State (IS) militants.

The troops will guard sensitive sites and targets, including in Rome where around 500 members of the military will be deployed.

In the Italian capital the soldiers will help guard Jewish schools, the city’s synagogue and diplomatic residences.

The measures, announced after a meeting of military and security officials, will be implemented until at least June.
    ……………………………..

    8) Your odds of dying in a terrorist attack are still far, far lower than dying from just about anything else. In the last five years, the odds of being killed in a terrorist attack have been about 1 in 20 million (that’s including both domestic attacks and overseas attacks).

Italy joins the plan to demonise Islam across Europe, under the guise of protecting its citizens from those pesky terrorists.

I suppose you have a point their Glenn, but does that make, news from Prisonplanet anymore unreliable, than news from Rupert Murdoch’s pre-package empire, or RT’s news, or the state broadcaster the BBC, who were shown for what they really are, during the Scottish referendum.

“Italy joins the plan to demonise Islam across Europe, under the guise of protecting its citizens from those pesky terrorists.”

Yes it’s the old trick. If you haven’t got an enemy create one. It is not the Italians, they are suffering austerity too. It’s their government, comprising those who bought into dollar debt to begin with. It cannot last much longer.

    http://rinf.com/alt-news/featured/leading-ukrainian-nazi-will-visit-washington-next-week-seeking-weapons/

Andrey Parubiy, a co-founder of the Social Nationalist Party of Ukraine, which the CIA renamed the “Freedom” Party (“Svoboda”) in order to hide its origin as Ukraine’s nazi party, announced on Sunday February 15th, that he’ll be seeking weapons from the U.S.

He had started (but the CIA named) Ukraine’s ‘Anti Terrorist Operation,’ which has been trying to exterminate the residents in Ukraine’s Donbass region, Ukraine’s separatist region.

Parubiy’s announcement said, “Next week I’m off to the United States to speak about this very subject,” of getting Washington to supply the weapons necessary to finish that job.

I haven’t been following the Ukrainian events as much as some in here, but this doesn’t look good, if it can be confirmed.

Yes John I agree, the current manufactured unrest in Europe, will lead to civil unrest, and a false, fear of Muslims, across Europe, though Chelsea fans (not all I might add) need no impetus, to get the ball rolling, in a manner of speaking.
