Phil, Fred’s the expert on special characters and mark-up tags and stuff.

Discussing mark-up on here is like trying to understand one end of a ‘phone conversation about a crossword you haven’t looked at.

  • fred

“Come on Fred now you have to explain how it’s done!”

All ascii charachters have a html code. You put them into html as “&#code number; the less than charachter code is 60 so if you type &#60; it will display < but it won't be interpreted as markup.

The ultimate guide to posting links on Craig Murray’s blog:

Below the “Submit Button” there is a line starting with “Basic formatting”. Copy and paste this bit:

    <a href=”http&colon;&sol;&sol;example.com/link”>Link text</a>

Replace the http&colon;&sol;&sol;example.com/link with the URL of the page you are linking to. Optionally, replace the words Link text with some descriptive text (possibly even the URL).

    Some examples. This:

    <a href=”http&colon;&sol;&sol;lonelytweets.com/”>Lonely Tweets</a>

will create this link: Lonely Tweets

    This:

    <a href=”http&colon;&sol;&sol;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9troleuses“>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9troleuses</a&gt;

    will create this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9troleuses

    Dada!

Fascinating – it converted “http:” in both the text and the link to “https”, meaning it won’t work now whether you copy&paste the link, or just select and try to use the link directly.

But Macky referenced an http: link earlier, and that remained intact. Very odd!

Troll is way out on average house price in Surrey.

Trying to fish again too. Banned on Squonk for same.

“Anyway have I posted as many comments as ROS yet?”
    ——————————-

I haven’t counted, but you’re proficient at posting the words bollocks, knob and bugger, impressive by anyone’s standards.

  • Republicofscotland

“Republicofscotland, the various “security services” of the world outsource to get these abilities; Edward Snowden was a CIA contractor. What starts out as Top Secret spreads and diffuses into private security, which has revolving doors with both other industry and organised crime.”

“Everything needs to be out in the open; public.”
    ——————————

In an ideal word Clark everything would be out in the open, but unfortunately we’re no where near that, never mind the book, “Fifty Shades of Grey” the world is made up of more than fifty shades of grey.

Probably not but in the other hand, not being a school teacher, you don’t knock off from work at 3.30pm.

Question to RoS – shouldn’t you be correcting the kids’ homework while you’re still fresh and leave posting on here until afterwards?

    Mary claims:

“Troll is way out on average house price in Surrey.”
    ____________

    Think again, ducks.

This is what the website Rightmove says:

“Most of the sales in Surrey over the past year were flats which on average sold for £282,783. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £434,751 and semi-detached properties averaged at £458,463.

Surrey, with an overall average price of £443,061 was more expensive than nearby West Sussex (£303,188), Berkshire (£332,059) and East Sussex (£285,919). The most expensive area within Surrey was Wentworth (£1,766,875) and the cheapest was Stanwell (£238,735).

In the past year house prices in Surrey were 10% up on the year before and 16% up on 2012 when they averaged at £381,965.”

As you don’t live in a flat or terraced house, my estimate of £460.000 wasn’t too far out, was it.

And as you’re always sneering at people woth high salaries when you post, I feel you are owned congratulations for the fact that house prices in Surrey have increased by 16% since 2012.

As they say : WE ARE ALL IN IT TOGETHER !!

Fuck off and die retard cunt.

It seems this site is querying the remote site being linked to and having established there is an https alternative (which in this case is untrusted) it then rewrites the URL. That would be crazy but can’t see another explanation.

If this is the case the web master here needs to disable that.

    Can you help mods?

The Corrie family respond to the Israeli Supreme Court decision.

Statement from Corrie family in response to the Israeli Supreme Court’s Dismissal of Appeal in Wrongful Death of Rachel Corrie

    http://rachelcorriefoundation.org/blog/2015/02/12/statement-from-corrie-family-in-response-to-the-israeli-supreme-courts-dismissal-of-appeal-in-wrongful-death-of-rachel-corrie

They have to resort to the vile Israeli legal system to have Rachel’s remains returned. It is 12 years since Rachel was crushed to death by an IDF bulldozer.

‘The court has determined that our separate case against Dr. Yehuda Hiss and Abu Kabir Institute, regarding inappropriate ways in which Rachel’s autopsy was conducted, may go forward in the lower court. We continue to be appalled that it requires a lawsuit to have a truthful accounting of what occurred, and complete repatriation of Rachel’s remains. Decisions as to next steps will be made by the family in consultation with our attorneys.’
