Peacewisher; “Not for this poor bugger”

    “Look, no haaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnndddddddddddssssss”! 🙂

Nearly as funny as that BBC reporter almost getting blown-up by an outgoing shell whilst calling it a Rebel “incoming” shell !

@Habby: He seemed a pretty decent guy in Animal Farm… and I’m sure Eric Blair knew a thing or two.

Do I have to spell it out… there are two types of people… the Trotskys (romantic but not egotistic) and the Stalins (egotist). Stalin was more fascist than Trotsky.

Cromwell was more fascist than the leader of the Levellers, who was a true socialist, probably of the Jesus tradition. Cromwell and Stalin were both a bit fascist, I guess, as was Churchill. But not Trotsky. The good guys in a coup always seem to cop it.

That’s why I said “Plus ca change…” (oh, yes, as for Napoleon Bonaparte…)

To be honest I’m shiit now..its a young man’s job…but I could still do it if I really wanted to…I have learned so many languages very quickly…the logic is still pretty much the same…in the depths of the computer and it is so in the depths of the human mind, despite the race, religion and colour of the body containing it.

If you are prejudiced against the box of beautifully wrapped present..then you weren’t working in The City of London, and Actually Opened The American’s Triple AAA Rated Gift Box and Found a Cold Human Turd.

“the Trotskys (romantic but not egotistic)”

Perhaps we should remember who Lenin put in charge of the Cheka – the forerunners of the KGB – before we get too carried away. And remember Kronstadt. But I agree he was nicer than Stalin.

“You’ll also know that the Commies even called genuine socialists “social-fascists” in the 1930s (and beyond).”

I think it was Stalin’s own personal theory that social democrats were just a variant of fascists – you still see the same today in the vehemence of many crypto leftists to the many social democrats who make up the core of the Labour Party.

I would just ask you guys to say a few prayers or think nice things about Canspeccy..I know you don’t always away agree with him..but he had the grace to post here..cos he obviously found soumething he liked..I don’t normally do this God thing..but he is an incredibly intelligent guy, and I think he might think he is dying..

    From his own website

    http://canspeccy.blogspot.co.uk/

    Quote: US Grand Strategy
Deep Resource defines rather well, I think, what I take to be the objective of US foreign policy.
The US is facing a failed grand strategy of trying to turn the world into a mongrelized Menschenpark of IQ 90 Obama look-a-likes without a sense of identity, all speaking English, all eating at McDonald’s, watching CNN, listening to what the Wolf Blitzer du jour has to say about the holocaust, and paying interest to the globalized Federal Reserve.
But as outlined by Brad Cabana at RockSolidPolitics, the attempt to inflict racial and cultural genocide, appears set to go disastrously awry in the ME.

Meantime, the Minsk II Ukraine ceasefire agreement may mark the end, or at least the beginning of the end, of the US-inspired attempt to genocide the Russian-speakers of Ukraine, while the likely wave of nationalist party election victories across Europe (Greece, Spain? France? UK? …) could mark the beginning of the end of the project to genocide the European peoples through mass immigration and multi-culturalism.

    That’s It For Now
I’ve written nothing for the last week or so, due to medical and other distractions. And after ten years of comment, starting at the CanadianSpectator,ca then migrating to various other less labor-intensive places, including this blog, Canspeccy on WordPress, iLucretius and the Diary of an Inexact Scientist, I have probably said about as much as I can usefully say — if anything I have said can be said to have been useful at all. In any case, I don’t expect to have time or energy to say very much more for several months, if not all eternity. Moreover, I am not sure that there is much more to be said, at least by me, on the themes with which I have been mainly concerned: namely, the transformation of Western society into a brutal, decadent, fraudulent, hypocritical, pseudo-democratic tyranny that promotes hatred for the Christian moral traditions of the West, a genocidal program for the European peoples, and a contempt for the rule of law. But to all those better informed and more articulate that I, who will surely continue to write along these lines, my best wishes.

    HSBC. Blood diamonds. cont’d.

    ‘Unsavoury connections

With Mr Daleyot, the bank ignored his questionable business connections, the most notorious of whom was reportedly Arkadi Gaydamak, a Russian-Israeli businessman convicted in absentia by France for his role in the 1990s “Angolagate” arms-trafficking scandal (some of the charges were overturned on appeal).

Mr Daleyot also reportedly financed Yakov Arabov, known to hip-hop stars like 50 Cent and the Notorious B.I.G. as Jacob the Jeweler. Arabov later went to prison in 2008 for lying to US federal agents about laundering money for the Black Mafia Family, a Detroit drug ring. Daleyot did not respond to ICIJ request for comment.

Another HSBC client, Emmanuel Shallop, had earned a mention in a 2001 UN report for doing business with the rebels in Sierra Leone’s vicious civil war. HSBC bankers noted in 2005 that he was “very cautious currently because he is under pressure from the Belgian tax authorities who are investigating his activities in the area of diamond tax fraud” .

HSBC continued to serve him. In 2010, a Belgian court convicted Shallop of facilitating the trade of blood diamonds in Sierra Leone, seizing $59 million in diamonds and real estate and sentencing him to six years in prison. “We do not want to give any comment on this issue,” John Maes, Shallop’s attorney, told ICIJ. “My client does not want his name to be mentioned in any article because of reasons of privacy.”’

    Why did Baird resign?

Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird, a strongly pro-Israel voice in Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government, resigned on Tuesday.

“I will miss this place very much,” Baird said in a speech to the Canadian Parliament. “The time has come to start a new chapter in my life.”

During a visit to Israel last month, Baird blasted the International Criminal Court’s opening of a preliminary inquiry into possible Israeli “war crimes,” calling the move “deeply ironic, awards terror, and amounts to blasphemy against international law.” After Palestinian protesters threw eggs and shoes at Baird’s convoy in Ramallah, the Canadian diplomat said, “People may disagree with our position with respect to Israel, but so be it. … It’s always wise to speak with moral clarity.”

Perhaps the egging was too much for him.

Canada’s foreign minister attacked by crowd of egg-throwers in West Bank

‘Some 100 Palestinian protesters hurled eggs at Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird as he was visiting Ramallah. Canada is among the nations resisting Palestinian efforts to gain recognition as a state in international organizations.’

Lenin turned the Cheka over, not to Trotsky, but to Felix Dzerzhinsky. There is indeed evidence that Trotsky approved of what the Cheka was doing in its early years, but at that time Trotsky had his hands full organizing and leading the Red Army.

Tony Blair advising Serbian government 16 years after bombing of Belgrade

Blair will counsel Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic, once his outspoken critic, under deal believed to be funded by United Arab Emirates
    18 February 2015

Tony Blair has added Serbia to the list of countries he is paid to advise, despite his role as the chief proponent of the bombing of Belgrade in 1999.

Blair will counsel the Serbian prime minister, Aleksandar Vucic, who was information minister during the war and was once such an outspoken critic of the British politician that he was listed as an editor of a book titled English Gay Fart Tony Blair.

Now Vucic and Blair find themselves on the same side, under a contract sealed by Blair’s private consultancy to set up a “delivery unit” paid for, according to Serbian official sources, by the United Arab Emirates.

RD; “Perhaps you might wish to consider just exactly how Putin came to power?”

Actually more concerned at this time with the crimes & mass murders being committed by the Kiev Junta; funny how you always like to concentrate on demonising the leaders of countries in the Wrst’s cross-hairs, “evil” Assad, Kadhafi, Saddam, etc, if you are not being paid, you are missing out !

Who created the Committee that appointed Dzhersinsky as the Cheka’s first director? I didn’t say that Trotsky ran the Cheka – but he was involved in its creation – although the original idea came from Lenin, as in many things it was Trotsky who made it happen.

  • RobG

Lysias, what all governments are most terrified of is their own people, because most governments are basicaly criminal enterprises. They understand that if the people wake-up to this fact, they (the members of government) will be lynched in short order.

So call me Dave, or John, or Steve, or whatever. I’m narried, go to church regularly, have 2.4 children and always wear a tidy suit.

I can count on your vote at the next election, because I’m normal, and am really not a psychopath.

Macky – interesting how you will never even criticise any totalitarian who opposes the West – I am more than happy to criticise those who support the West yet abuse human rights are you so idiotic to need a list?

Here is the Wikipedia account of the formation of the Cheka:

In the first month and half after the October Revolution (1917), the duty of “extinguishing the resistance of exploiters” was assigned to the Petrograd Military Revolutionary Committee (or VRK). It represented a temporary body working under directives of the Council of People’s Commissars (Sovnarkom) and Central Committee of RDSRP(b). The VRK created new bodies of government,[clarification needed] organized food delivery to cities and the Army, requisitioned products from bourgeoisie, and sent its emissaries and agitators into provinces. One of its most important functions was the security of revolutionary order, and the fight against counterrevolutionary activity (see: Anti-Soviet agitation).

On December 1, 1917, the All-Russian Central Executive Committee (VTsIK or TsIK)[11] reviewed a proposed reorganization of the VRK, and possible replacement of it. On December 5, the Petrograd VRK published an announcement of dissolution and transferred the functions to the department of TsIK to the fight against “counterrevolutionaries”.[12] On December 6, the Council of People’s Commissars (Sovnarkom) strategized how to persuade government workers to strike across Russia. They decided that a special commission was needed to implement the “most energetically revolutionary” measures. Felix Dzerzhinsky (the Iron Felix) was appointed as Director and invited the participation of the following individuals: V. K. Averin, V. N. Vasilevsky, D. G. Yevseyev, N. A. Zhydelev, I. K. Ksenofontov, G. K. Ordjonikidze, Ya. Kh. Peters, K. A. Peterson, V. A. Trifonov.

Note the absence of any mention of Trotsky. As far as I can tell, none of the committees mentioned was headed by Trotsky either (although, as Commissar for Foreign Affairs, he was of course a member of Sovnarkom).

I should correct one thing I said. Trotsky did not become head of the Red Army until the spring of 1918. At the time of the formation of the Cheka, his position was that of Commissar of Foreign Affairs.
