I am fully aware of your arguments but there is a huge difference between what is theoretically possible and what is achievable in reality. The prolonged lockdown since before Christmas has led to a slow and gradual fall, but the levels are still high. AS far as I know there is no intention whatsoever in stopping all air traffic and closing borders.
