“For the first time in this trial, Baraitser herself now asked a question of the witness. She asked Lewis why he thought Assange would not be held in the general prison population, as he currently was at Belmarsh.”
“Lewis” should be “Ellis”. (I don’t think there are any other errors.)September 29, 2020 at 08:50 #60965mods-cm-orgGuest
Thanks, Twirlip. Another reader made the same observation. In fact, I had already spotted and corrected it, but the article hadn’t been updated yet as the proofreading process was still underway. (There were a number of other minor typos, but the majority of today’s corrections concerned inconsistent punctuation.)
Craig always publishes the articles without consulting or notifying moderators, which means that as soon as we notice a new article has appeared, we have to read and correct the entire thing as fast as possible before it can be copied and reproduced or translated elsewhere – all while continuously monitoring the incoming comment stream. Craig published earlier than usual today so caught us a bit unawares.
