Clegg’s “straight to the camera” bit apparently worked in his favour the first time around, as a point of real distinction from the other candidates. Solution – fix the candidate, and fix the camera that’s doing the watching. Brilliant.
How the heck did Sky get in on this, they’re not a proper news channel. They have no more right to host these serious contests than the Cartoon Network. We’ll be regarding Fox “News” soon as if it were a serious source, if we’re not careful.
