Crass 868

In the week they took hundreds of pounds from people in severe poverty, MPs and Lords claim up to £3,750 each to return from their luxury holidays to spout off in honour of Margaret Thatcher. Meantime the media are busy classifying any potential protest or expression of opinion at the taxpayer funded funeral jamboree as “potential terrorism”.

Whether protest at the funeral is tasteful or not is a fair question. But there is no question it is perfectly lawful. There is virtually no understanding of the very notion of civil liberty in the mainstream media.

    Yes, you lower your level to pathetic play-ground name-calling.
    I already shot down the call of Sufi to describe people who don’t agree with gratuitous, Zionist-funded violence against Muslim populations. I am not a Sufi. I simply don’t understand why it is thought by city-dwellers in safe havens in the UK that it is beneficial to massacre Muslims at the hands of other Muslims. How does this help Islam?

    If you had read what I said you would know that I have often heard my Kurdish friends in the UK describe the scholars of Islam in countries like Syria as Sufis because they want to blame the scholars for the suffering they and their countries have been through under the Western/Zionist imposed dictators.

    Kill the people and blame the scholars. That’s the motto of these angry people. Why do they form alliances with the very governments who imposed the dictators in the first place? Does it never enter their rage-stupid skulls that they might be being used themselves to put the next generation of client dictators in power?

    You need to engage your brain, brother.

    There is another row brewing over the FA’s call for a minute’s silence at matches today.

    Note the question raised here about what went on the day after the Hillsborough disaster when she visited the ground.

    When I read that she meticulously planned her own funeral, it is obvious that she had delusions of grandeur. One of the hymns will be I Vow to Thee My Country. Quite.

    yes Anon, watched have I got news for you, was Brian Blessed good or what? hilarious and controversial.

    The words are ironic in the context of her ‘previous’. She did not know the meaning of love and her policies and actions were anything but ‘ways of gentleness’ and her paths were anything but peaceful, referring to the last line of this jingoistic call to arms. Just reading it makes me cringe.

    I vow to thee, my country, all earthly things above,
    Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
    The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
    That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
    The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
    The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.

    I heard my country calling, away across the sea,
    Across the waste of waters she calls and calls to me.
    Her sword is girded at her side, her helmet on her head,
    And round her feet are lying the dying and the dead.
    I hear the noise of battle, the thunder of her guns,
    I haste to thee my mother, a son among thy sons.

    And there’s another country, I’ve heard of long ago,
    Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know;
    We may not count her armies, we may not see her King;
    Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering;
    And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase,
    And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace.

    This refers to calls for a minute’s silence at FA cup matches. I am not sure what the position is about other matches.

    ‘There will be no minute’s silence held for Baroness Thatcher ahead of the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend because the Football Association is ‘an apolitical organisation’, the governing body’s chairman David Bernstein has said.

    Bernstein says he has respect and sympathy for the former Prime Minister, who died earlier this week, but the FA will not stage a tribute before the games between Millwall and Wigan and Chelsea and Manchester City at Wembley this weekend.

    Wigan chairman Dave Whelan called for a minute’s silence to be held earlier this week.

    But FA chairman Bernstein said at the Soccerex conference in Manchester: “We are an apolitical organisation and there will not be a minute’s silence.

    “I do have great respect and sympathy for Baroness Thatcher.”‘

    David Bernstein says there will be no minute’s silence at FA Cup semi-finals

    Five more days and then all this will be over. Political, class and economic divisions in the country have been exposed.

    Was Thatcher a ‘Champion of Freedom and Democracy’? Don’t. Be. Silly.

    “The world has lost a true champion of freedom and democracy,” declaimed Nancy Reagan.

    “I suspect, however, that the citizens of countries such as Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Iraq, South Africa and Chile might disagree. The inconvenient truth for Thatcher fans is that the freedom-loving, democracy-defending British premier was a close friend and admirer of the thugs, thieves, despots and racists who ruled over those nations in the 1980s.”

    “Forget the row over who gets credit for the fall of the Soviet Union – Mikhail Gorbachev or Reagan and Thatcher. If (wo)man is judged by the company (s)he keeps, then Thatcher – self-professed friend to generals Pinochet, Suharto and Zia, ally of Saddam Hussein, admirer of the Saudi royals, soft on apartheid – must be judged a champion of despotism and dictatorship, not of freedom or liberty. The historical record is so clear and indisputable that to believe otherwise is wilful blindness.”

    Deterrent policing ahead of Thatcher protests
    12Apr

    Netpol has increasing concerns regarding the approach being taken by the Metropolitan police in relation to the policing of protests at Margaret Thatcher’s funeral on Wednesday and the planned party in Trafalgar Square on Saturday. Fears are growing that people organising or planning protest will be placed under surveillance, and that the police will be willing to resort to ‘pre-emptive arrest’.

    The announcement made by the Metropolitan Police that they will be monitoring a ‘range of information’ including internet and social media will exacerbate these anxieties and deter protest to at least some extent. Netpol has spoken to a number of people who have told us they are fearful of talking about organising or even attending protest. This form of deterrent policing is insidious and divisive, and undermines fundamental freedoms.

    The Met do not have a good track record in dealing with mass protest. An occupation in Trafalgar Square after a TUC rally in March 2011 was kettled by police who used force to make mass arrests ‘to prevent a breach of the peace’ of people who had committed no criminal acts. Student demonstrations in 2010 were also kettled, measures which resulted in young people being held for many hours in difficult and dangerous conditions.

    Nor do the Met have a good record in dealing with protest at major public events. The Met carried out a number of pre-emptive arrests of potential protesters in advance of the Royal Wedding; some of whom are continuing to challenge the legality of police actions. They also arrested 182 cyclists on a Critical Mass bike ride for alleged breaches of conditions restricting protest on the night of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. From 182 arrests only nine were prosecuted and a mere five convicted.

    It is hoped that the Metropolitan police, on this occasion, show an appropriate respect for protest rights. Margaret Thatcher’s funeral is a public event of political significance. People should have the freedom to express their views and feelings without fear of dawn raids, pre-emptive arrest, or having to spend hours in a police ‘kettle’.

    Why do they form alliances with the very governments who imposed the dictators in the first place?” – If such alliance brings to the point where you can oust the dictators, why not go for it?

    “Does it never enter their rage-stupid skulls that they might be being used themselves to put the next generation of client dictators in power?”
    -One of the signs of arrogance (mutakkabir) is blaming others in stupidity. Besides, you are trying to predict the future, which hasn’t happened yet. Only Allah knows what happens in the future.

    Re: scholars. Just because they are scholars (confirmed/affrimed by whom?) does not mean they are super saints. If you are a scholar and provide spiritual justice for tyrannical actions of a dictator, especially non-islamic sect of alawites, against ahli-sunnah then you are not a scholar, and you are not even a muslim. In the Quran Allah compares those who do not follow true meaning of Tauhid to donkeys. A donkey, which is carrying the cargo, does not understand the value of it.
    Muslims rely upon two main sources of Islam. If you are not engaging your brain within the boundaries of these two sources then you end up falsely accusing others.
    I stick to my previous advice to you.

    [The Torah’s] ways are ways of pleasantness, and all its paths are peace; it is a tree of life for those who grasp it, and those who draw near it are fortunate… Proverbs 3:17-18

    Barbara Tuchman wrote of the Authorized King James Version of the Bible :

    “… generation after generation of Englishmen came to know The Book. Everyone knew it. In many homes it was the only book in the house and, being so, was read over and over until its words and images and characters and stories became as familiar as bread. Children learned long chapters by heard and usually knew the geography of Palestine before they knew their own. Lloyd George recalled how in his first meeting with Chaim Weizmann in December 1914, place names kept coming into the conversation that were “more familiar to me than those of the Western Front” Lord Balfour’s biographer says that his interest in Zionism stemmed from his boyhood training in the Old Testament under the guidance of his mother. (Tuchman, Barbara, Bible and Sword, 1956, p 83).”

    Mark Golding, why do you dismiss Churchill’s description of the KJV Bible as ‘one of the lasting achievements of English culture’ as Tommyrot?

    I thought the age of paying “professional mourners” went out with ancient Egypt, though it it still practised rarely, in places the US and UK would arrogantly regard as “developing.” Doubt those mourners ever paid a whopping £3,750 though. And as the son of Thatcher government cites scroungers on the State. Arguably there is scrounging from beyond the grave too as the State is picking up the tab for her funeral, not her wealthy son.

    You know from the pattern of the Arab Spring that the inevitable replacement for Assad when he uses chemical weapons will be a Muslim Brotherhood Jassous for Zionist USUKIS etc. The only reason why you don’t mind them spying on you is because you think you have clocked up enough good deeds that they are not going to catch you on the wrong foot, while your brothers and sisters all around you are taking short-cuts, missing prayers, eating interest and generally getting up your nose. You think the Brotherhood haram spying will teach them a lesson.

    I have the humiity to know that I was brought up outside Islam and my tarbiyah/education incorporated many emotional coping strategies which are not instantly cured. You don’t like the fact that the non-Muslim environment is influencing the weaker Muslims as well, but the iron rule of the Pharisee ( if you know to what that refers ) Brotherhood will bring them back to heel- yeh?

    Most of the Muslims in the world including the scholars were brought up with a considerable degree of ignorance/jahiliya in their upbringing. The Qur’an is the cure. But when you cannot convince people by the evidence of the Qur’an, you think you are so perfect in your morals and education that you can sentence them to death, if you could achieve it, or causing them inconvenience by putting them on work blacklists or pinching their cars – whatever breach of Muslim brotherhood will teach them a lesson and ease your rage against the disbelievers.

    Your refusal to listen is the greater pride/kibr. I have been dying to know why the scholars who have exposed my weaknesses when they tried every way to wind me up and test me, are the people I should follow to Jihad. Why do they blame the West/Zionists for the loss of the Chaliphate when the evidence is plain that it arose from exactly the same type of collaboration with the enemies of Islam + betrayal that is taking place now in Syria. Islam can only be damaged by Muslims, vying for position and power and intriguing with the kuffar.

    From keeping an eye on tweets it seems there are many “Ding Dong The Witch is Dead” banners at football grounds today. That should give the tv companies some trouble keeping it off screen.

    Chants of “Maggie, Maggie, Maggie. DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!” as well as the witch song apparently also causing them problems.

    Now we hear that this hymn will be sung. Love Divine All Loves Excelling. It’s getting more like a wedding.

    1. Love divine, all loves excelling,
    joy of heaven, to earth come down;
    fix in us thy humble dwelling;
    all thy faithful mercies crown!
    Jesus thou art all compassion,
    pure, unbounded love thou art;
    visit us with thy salvation;
    enter every trembling heart.

    2. Breathe, O breathe thy loving Spirit
    into every troubled breast!
    Let us all in thee inherit;
    let us find that second rest.
    Take away our bent to sinning;
    Alpha and Omega be;
    end of faith, as its beginning,
    set our hearts at liberty.

    3. Come, Almighty to deliver,
    let us all thy life receive;
    suddenly return and never,
    nevermore thy temples leave.
    Thee we would be always blessing,
    serve thee as thy hosts above,
    pray and praise thee without ceasing,
    glory in thy perfect love.

    4. Finish, then, thy new creation;
    pure and spotless let us be.
    Let us see thy great salvation
    perfectly restored in thee;
    changed from glory into glory,
    till in heaven we take our place,
    till we cast our crowns before thee,
    lost in wonder, love, and praise.

    The assembled company will sing these words lustily led by her children Agent Cameron, B.Liar, Gordo Brown and the others.

    I see the possible reasons for her choice here. Wesley who wrote it was born in Lincolnshire like La Thatcher and at one time, ministered to the Methodists in South Georgia!

    Why not add this one by Wesley? “Soldiers of Christ, arise, and put your armour on”

    Let me tell you about an event in my life 8 years ago. I offerred to work for a very learned and respected sheikh who owned a large nearly derelict building which he needed electrical testing, which I started to do for free, using the money he gave me for buying materials for essential correction work.

    He wanted me to pass it, overlooking the lethal faults. I had agreed that I was not to be named in the testing work because I was not insured for electrical testing work, but the work was under the supervision and umbrella of an electrical company.
    Then they put my name forward to the council who had forced the electrical inspection work. I told the council the building was made of wood and needed to be re-wired or thoroughly upgraded before housing children on the upstairs floors.

    So what does the scholar make of that? 1/ That I am racist against his project and 2/ that I am working on behalf of council against his interests. When this level of bonkers racist paranoia exists amongst the scholars, from the time of the British Raj, I ask myself again: why do they make alliances with the leading agents of the war on terror and suspect their Muslim brothers? Answer: Because they are nuts, and all of the problems of the Muslim Ummah are caused by their barmy ideas. Don’t worry when it all goes pear-shaped we will blame the beastly kuffar.

    Why does it not occur to these people when they worry about the safety of young children in their care or the safety of the innocent children of Syria, that they should embrace English Muslims like me with a big kiss on both cheeks, instead of suspecting us and spiking us on their lsi of suspicious characters. The scholar had obtained slanderous information about me from his MI5 indirect connections. Why does he believe the slander of the kuffar against the individuals they hate most, the reverts to Islam???????? Answer, because like you brother they already have us labelled as Sufis, who say they are worried about the Muslims safety when really they want to undermine the Islamic faith with deviant ideas. Bonkers , barmy, words do not exist to describe the psychotic malice of the mad mullahs who are in charge.
