I have no sympathy at all for anybody who voted No on the grounds of the pledges by Brown, Miliband, Cameron and Clegg about constitutional change, and is now whingeing about the blatant dishonour of those pledges. I cannot understand how anybody could be so stupid as to have believed them, and yet have a brain capable of sparking respiration.
Labour is interested in losing no influence of Scottish Labour MPs on any UK or English matters. It wants greater powers to English metropolitan councils which are controlled by Labour – because that will give Labour careerists more jobs and access to contracts. Those are Labours “constitutional reform” goals. The Conservatives “constitutional reform” goals are to keep Scotland’s tax on oil revenues and tax on whisky coming to Westminster, while loading greater responsibilities but no more money on the Scottish parliament, and stopping Scottish MPs voting on English matters thus guaranteeing conservative apparatchiks continued jobs and access to contracts.
Both Tories and Labour want to keep the appalling corrupt and undemocratic House of Lords for its jobs for apparatchiks, access to contracts etc.
Nobody cares what the Lib Dems think anyway.

Yes I admit it was me impersonating John Goss. I apologise to anyone here who may have been taken in by my transparent impersonation of Mr Goss.
I most decidedly do not apologise for any offence that I may have caused to Mr Goss whose lies and misrepresentations both Habba and I have pointed out on numerous occasions, who pushes anti semitic holocaust denying websites, who excused Stalin of the Holodomor, who repeatedly fails to condemn many of the excesses of the Soviet Union and now Mr Putin, and continued to support those convicted of terrorism based on their own confessions.
I should also advice Mr Goss that impersonation is not a criminal offence, unless it is of a police officer (or similar) or in order to commit fraud, which it most certainly wasn’t. As for libel – please bring it on – to attribute a comment opposing the oppression of free trade unions in the former Soviet Empire to Mr Goss would be seen as flattery rather than defamation by most right thinking people. Of course it is important to Mr Goss in the circles that he moves not to be see as a supporter of Solidarnosc and other free trade unions in the former Soviet bloc and to the withhold the priciples that the Soviet Union followed as socialist ones then I am happy to confirm that Mr Goss has done no such thing and I apologise for sullying his reputation in those circles.
I should add that I made no attempt to distinguish my ISP from that which I use in my own name – a task which is just a matter of switching my broadband connection on and off as I do not have a static ISP address.
I should also add that the impersonation was imply undertaken by typing up Mr Goss’s email address which he scatters liberally over the internet in support of his many dubious causes.
As for the reasons as to why I have lost my temper with Mr Goss and his ilk, perhaps it is worth asking questions are why so many here are keen to find details in respect of those anonymous posters who object to their own particular viewpoint. Well all I am prepared to say is that I and my children are now more than aware – and the nature of the offences pail into insignificance against by own provocation. My advice to right thinking people is to guard your personal details here very closely, I would also ask that the mods review the security of the information that they hold both at present and historically. I am not accusing Mr Goss or anyone else specifically of the offences committed – but I am more than satisfied that someone of a long term working knowledge of this blog is to blame. I shall not be going into further details on this matter.
