I prefer to call it “this SARS strain that’s going round”, partly because it allows people to out themselves immediately as morons who do and think whatever the bosses tell them, if that’s what they are. For example some respond by saying “So you think it’s SARS, then? Are you a conspiracy theorist?”
To be a “good citizen” nowadays, aka one of the “sheeple”, you don’t just have to believe and express the IDEAS that the rulers put into your head; you also have to reproduce the exact terminology that the rulers want you to use, and to fear and eventually hate those who aren’t such bum-lickers as to do this.
