Dandelion Salad on the Sam Adams Award 170

Quite a few internet articles have popped up, although absolutely nothing in the mainstream media. Here is one from Dandelion Salad:

http://dandelionsalad.wordpress.com/2010/10/25/wikileaks%e2%80%99-julian-assange-accepts-intelligence-experts%e2%80%99-whistleblower-award-on-behalf-of-our-sources/

Which leads me to an interesting observation. The Wikileaks press conference was attended by at least 30 TV crews and hundreds of journalists, from all over the world. But I did not see any other high profile bloggers there. Given that Wikileaks is in itself a prime example of the way that new media can get the truth out as mainstream media can’t, that was peculiar. Did Wikileaks not invite any bloggers?

    Hi Eddie,

I remember your straw argument about Assange putting Afghans at risk? Sadly I also remember you accusing Craig of not being able to hold down a government job.

You obviously struggle to find the time as a spectator of this ‘freak show’ but remember the ‘elephant man’ – we soon learned that Merrick was in fact sophisticated and articulate, with refined intellectual and spiritual leanings.

Be careful – Craig might make a charge for your infrequent viewings of this attraction.

SMEARING WHISTLEBLOWERS – IT’S TO BE EXPECTED

Recall the lies that we were fed back in 2003. I and so many others believed them back then, and consequently supported the war in Iraq at the time. After all we were being told by the then Prime Minister, and the intelligence services (without exception), that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and was thus a serious threat to humanity, and not just a threat to the Iraqi People. Well, we now know the shocking truth that our government and its intelligence agencies sent our soldiers to war based on a lie. So it’s hardly surprising that the politicians and intelligence world would lie again to protect themselves – SMEARING those who seek to expose the truth.

Didn’t Craig refer to the intelligence world’s tradition of smearing its enemies in his recent article on “Kompromat”? Smearing whistleblowers takes two forms. Often the SMEAR is a complete and outright lie; occasionally there is a smattering of truth behind the smear – but it’s a grossly exaggerated truth; a molehill built into a mountain. But always smearing is in the tradition of Mein Kampf using the Big Lie Technique.

Smearing should tell us more about the government and its intelligence agencies than it does about the individual being smeared. Recognising this, former Prime Minister “Harold MacMillan” referring to the UK’s Spooks said they were all either “weird or mad”.

The sad fact is that honest whistleblowers will be smeared without exception, wherever the elites exposed by the whistleblower cannot deal with the truth. The question to ask oneself is this – did the smear surface before the whistleblower blew the whistle, or after it? We don’t have enough whistleblowers; we should support those few we do have.

    !! COMPOUND ALERT !!

From the front page of Today’s Guardian:

Marines shot and wounded a man who was “trying to locate his family as they had moved compounds”.

    *

The Guardian also details a number of occasions on which drivers and a motorcyclist were shot for no particularly good reason. The MOD said, “There has been a report of a suicide bomber in the area.” This is a fairly common excuse – and it used to be impossible to verify.

But now we have all the reports from Wikileaks, would it not be possible to say, “Which report was that then, MOD? We’ll look it up on Wikileaks to confirm there indeed was such a report.”

  • Alfred

“The question to ask oneself is …”

What did we learn from Wikileaks that is (a) new (b) true and (c) significantly at odds with with the imperial propaganda.

Ans. Nothing significant, so far as I am aware.

  • technicolour

alfred, good questions and I think glenn’s post gives at least one answer.

    ingo, mark, yeah.

  • Clark

    Apostate, Steelback, Freeborn, etc,

Have you gone completely mad, or has your anger at being “banned” by Craig clouded your vision? Ingo has been consistently critical of Israel. You are looking increasingly obsessed.

  • Apostate

    Clark Kent

Angry at being “banned” by Craig? (LMAO)

You’re ascribing your own childlike motivations to other people. Such comments betray the pathetically low intellectual level you share with all the PC dimwits here.

Isn’t it about time you cast off your daft shiny bacofoil outfit and joined the adult world?

Along with crabs, technidick, ingo et al you got passed by when God distributed the capacity for analytical or critical thinking so that actually sustaining an argument or even making a counter-one is clearly beyond you.

What a herd of sheeplike degenerates you lot are!

You’re way off topic yet again with your Nazis in leather imagery and the cesspool of trivia you like to bring to discussion.

We know you guys like to bond together and for some reason have mistaken this site for a gay networking nexus.

Talking about how you got taken in by the war propaganda in 2003 etc.-why don’t I find that at all surprising?-and throwing a tantrum like “ingo” just about sums up how dumb you guys are.

The tiny corporate media world that feeds your PC obsessions and the low-grade education the state gave you guys means reading your thoughts on any particular issue is rather like discovering just how badly things went wrong in this country during the Thatcher years.

Your severely restricted level of awareness is frightening but the fact that you don’t realise that as soon as you open your trap it’s immediately discernible is just plain hilarious!

    YOU MOONBATS!

  • Freeborn

    Yo prostate!

Trust you realise that your “take no prisoners” line in invective may actually make this masochistic shower of passive patsies go all weak at the knees!

The guy, crabs has been savaged on numerous occasions and still comes back for more. I have a feeling the shills and PC Pavlovians are into punishment and humiliation big-time.

I see you still haven’t got that faulty space-bar on your keyboard fixed.

    It’s a bit of a giveaway.

I won’t mention that there has been a kind of police high level security system operating in the road where we live tonight, but My Wife and My Son have been staring out of our Bedroom Window tonight…

So I went to have a look – and they’d all fucked off – except for this massive big black bloke – and he didn’t know of any trouble – so I guess the police cleared it up…

Earlier this morning I wrote this when I was sober…

Your post is the result of being brainwashed with neoliberal bollocks. The real wealth of a nation is not as measured on a balance sheet. A nation is not like a company. If it was then virtually every nation in the world would be totally bankrupt – with the USA the most bankrupt of all.

The real wealth of a nation comes from the useful products and services that nation produces. Enormous increases in productivity over the last 50 years – that is more real goods and services – being produced from the same group of people – that France can justifiably claim – means that the real wealth of France has dramatically increased.

The argument that France cannot afford to maintain a similar standard of living and social welfare and pensions, that it has enjoyed for the last 50 years – because it no longer has the same level of wealth – is an absolute lie. The reality is that people need to work much less than they did in the 1960’s – because many aspects of traditional manual labour have been automated and are now done far more efficiently by machine.

What we are seeing across the World with austerity programs being imposed by extreme right wing governments is an enormous con job by the extremely rich and powerful to get even more rich and powerful and impoverish everyone else.

The basic problem is that the Economic System is Fundamentally Broken and Totally Corrupt. Its the equivalent of a Virus Ridden Version of Windows 3.1 – with the Systems Administartprs refusing to upgrade to even Windows 95 – let alone Windows 7 or a decent version of Linux….

The reason IS that the Systems Administrators – The Bankers – are Creaming Off 95% of ALL The Wealth – and Pissing it Away Against The Casino Walls Whilst Out of Their Heads on Cocaine.

Solutions to these Fundamental Problems are Relatively Simple

We need to upgrade the economic system, and appoint Systems Administrators who have a High Level of Integrity and are Not Robbing Us all Blind

This Post is Subtitled “Having Fun When You Are Even Older Than Craig Murray”

Whilst I did get Breakfast in Bed – it is My Job to Do It on Wednesdays – There was No Fruit…

However even so it was fantastic…

So it was pissing down…so we went to see “Social Networks” – for some reason my wife really wants to see this film…

    So I took her there…

But there were an exceedingly large number of queuing up…

    So instead we came home…

    And it stopped raining…

I got the step ladders out of the shed to fix the curtains – and just above my head – I saw an extremely large number of Grapes…

Next Door’s Grapevine has climbed up to about 40 feet clinging on to the house at the back of our’s Fir Trees…

There’s enough to make several barrels of wine…

So I said to my Wife…

    Here is The Fruit

(She was up before me if the truth be known!!!)

Indeed Julian Assange said, “I’m constantly annoyed that people are distracted by false conspiracies such as 9/11, when all around we provide evidence of real conspiracies, for war or mass financial fraud.” Belfast Telegraph July 19th 2010.

Like most of us Julian does not have the whole global secret mafia perfectly diagrammed, and I don’t expect anyone else to understand it all either. I am however optimistic that we should expect to witness in the next few months, a ‘leak’ of secret information about the destruction of the World Trade Centre and I also think Julian expects this and does not want to pre-empt it.

Over the course of history there has been a stubborn refusal to recognise the myriad shades of false flag operations, it’s a very long spectrum and most of them are never “uncovered”.

Increasingly, however, the falling of three WTC buildings has come under rigorous scientific scrutiny which lead to the unchallenged 2009 discovery of high-tech military explosives in the World Trade Center dust [1] which has created an enormous growth of the doubt sown by Senator Bob Graham, who chaired the United States Senate Select Committee on Intelligence when it performed its Joint Inquiry into 9/11. Graham told the BBC, “I can just state that within 9/11 there are too many secrets, that is information that has not been made available to the public for which there are specific tangible credible answers and that the withholding of those secrets has eroded public confidence in their government as it relates to their own security.”

The 9/11 Commission Report of 2004 [2] has recently been criticized in Harpers magazine as, “a cheat and a fraud” – It stands as a series of evasive maneuvers that infantilise the audience, transform candor into iniquity, and conceal realities that demand immediate inspection and confrontation.”[3]

The 9/11 Commissioners themselves reported the obstruction of their mandate by the C.I.A., in a New York Times editorial saying, “What we do know is that government officials decided not to inform a lawfully constituted body, created by Congress and the president, to investigate one the greatest tragedies to confront this country. We call that obstruction.” The two 9/11 Commission heads, and its senior counsel, have declared that the Commission was lied to.[4][5]

Most of this evidence has been documented by Dr. David Ray Griffin, who was nominated in 2008 and 2009 for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on 9/11 and his book, ‘The New Pearl Harbor Revisited,’ was awarded Publishers Weekly’s “Pick of the Week” in November, 2008.[6].

In a changing world the dominant source of political reality is no longer government and corporate newswire releases, so while the main media remain silent about the 9/11 controversy, the global Internet brain, with its synapses firing through YouTube, Twitter, Google and a host of other social media, is gutting the media monopoly over our collective sense of reality and has lead to audience drip feed to RT and PressTV.

The media has failed to ask the tough questions about 9/11 and the illegal Middle East wars and I believe will eventually will pay the price by falling readerships and viewers.

The media has underestimated its truth-hungry consumers ?” insulted them by withholding analysis and historical context ?” and now the hunt for reality on serious issues has led to grassroots sources that go far beyond the old newsreels and ‘Times’ front page head-lines. We need evidence, fact-based reporting more than ever in a world awash with information, rumour, and opinion.

Very little of the scientific literature on 9/11 has been reviewed in the mainstream press. The public has thus had minimal access to research materials in libraries (owing to the absence of reviews) or to balanced media investigations into the emerging evidence.

The demand for such information may be seen by searching the Google News Archive for “9/11 truth”. The top-ranked article for 2010 dealt with 18 case studies of objective European, British and Canadian mainstream treatments of 9/11 during the past year. Conflicting evidence of major events such as 9/11 and 7/7 need a code of ethics for delivering evidence-based journalism and library services.

Doubts about September 11th and July 7th bear the hallmark characteristics of false flag operations and constitute precisely the sort of dilemma that a code of ethics was designed to handle.

Blair resisted a public investigation into the London Bombings and the White House resisted a 9/11 investigation. Pressure from surviving families of both eventually gave us narrow terms of reference, low budget and tightly controlled ‘inquests’ where nobody is under oath ?” this will not do for major tragedies such as 9/11 & 7/7 and serves only to frustrate and annoy by their obvious ‘set-up to fail’ omission architecture.

And so far as I can tell, neither The Americans or The Telegraoh have deleted it yet, so it may survive 30 seconds on Craig Murray’s website…

I must admit That Craig Murray is the Fastest Censor I have Ever Known, and he has also Deleted Far more things that I have written than Anyone Else Ever…

In the UK, we investigate our politicians. I used to think the UK Press was completely dead, but a couple of years ago – A Bloody Tory Paper No Less – Like This is Thr Right Wing Paper of UK Politics – Think of the Most Right Wing US Equivalent…

They dribbled this out over 18 months – and it wasn’t a direct attack on the Nu Labour Government – it was an Attack On All MP’s of All Parties Who Had Been Fiddling Their Expenses…

This Did Not Come From The UK Left Wing….

The No-Labour Pigs Had Their Noses In The Troughs Too…

It was Only The UK Liberals who Had Consistently Objected To and Voted Against The Iraq War who Came Up with Relatively Clean Noses…

And We Still Get Up Close and Personal…

We Still Investigate Our Elected Representatives…

I wrote this on The UK’s Daily Telegraph’s website 35 minutes ago, and it still hasn’t been deleted…

Whilst I am not going to disagree with the content of this article, which I am allowed to comment on, I would like to point out a few things about the current Main artice on The Telegraph’s website that I am not allowed to comment on

    It goes something like this…

“Supervised criminals commit murder and rape”

“Dangerous offenders were charged with almost 200 murders, rapes and other serious offences while being monitored by the authorities last year, figures showed today. ”

My comments are that I have no direct knowledge or even suspicions of murder or rape by these criminals, and I think these allegations maybe untrue – at least on a personal level – however their voting records will be closely analysed as well as all the documents produced that are currently closely guarded and not on any computer database. They are actually in a Very Secure Safe Exceedingly Well Protected…

Yes These Criminals Were Being Supervised – By Us…

    We voted for them.

    They are OUR SERVANTS

I have Personally Investigated My Own MP, and although I didn’t vote for him, I am almost certain he is completely INNOCENT of any “Criminal” Charges….

However there are aspects of his behaviour, that whilst not criminal, I am displeased with…

He did however vote against The Iraq War, and has been one of the Strongest Critics of The Iraq War, asking more embarrassing questions about of it since before it even started.

He is also a friend of my daughter, so he passes through the net to the other side….

    He is O.K.

He was never accused by anyone of fiddling his expenses or abusing the system in any way – he does not have second homes and charge their rent to – us.. Yes US – We pay His Wages…and Reasonable Expenses

In fact I have even seem him in the same train carriage as me – not First Class – but just roughing it with the rest of us sardines..

Its the rest of you I have a problem with…

Especially The Labour MP’s who voted for the Iraq War – knowing that Blair Was Lying….

We can excuse some of the Tories – cos well they are Tories and a bit simple….

But YOU Particularly YOU Traditional Old Labour MP’s – who KNEW Blair Was Lying – and Knew The Truth….

    You are In Trouble

Says eddie, of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange:

    * No smoke without fire eh?

    * Look into his eyes – is that the face of a trustworthy man?

To think you might find yourself on jury duty, eddie! A worrying prospect indeed, for the accused who wants a fair trial. But I reason that the above has demonstrated your move from simply right-wing towards the irrational, and has little in common with the liberal values you used to claim to be proud of. You are a troll.
