Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22281

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

    @Mochyn69.69878 and @Shelocker !

Note @BlueBird “Mr. Schutz likes “velo” sports, too”.
Interesting on the other theory mentioned.

Did you login as a facebook member before clicking that link?

    Q

I think that gemini tif hair saloon is in albertville but it is not in ugine.

What got my attention after mochyn mentioned claire schutz.
She is nowhere on mathis’ friends list. Not even one member of the schutz family is there. That is unusual since else he has got everybody he knows as a friend. But none of the schutz family … Strange!

  • James

    Blue…

    Why is that strange ?
Would he, could he see it as an upst to the family he once had ?

Or could it be, they don’t want to be “friends” with him ?

Yet Louis is sat in Leo’s knee.
Would that be on one of the visits between parents ?

  • Shelock H.

    @ James.
thanx for the nice remark re Shelock on-the-block 😉
(btw: It’s not easy at all as a non-native-speaker to understand all the comments here.. but I appreciate any help for may be asking twice or stupid questions 😉

    Just a spontanious idea:
May be we have somebody here with good french knowledge. I think, if this person has some time left- so why not make an inscription on Le Dauphine for tracking back/research issues re Haute-Savoie??
My guts are tellling me there will be some more finds about the persons involved – for an overall picture…. or even more.
    Anybody out there?
(even my french isn’t the best any more- I would be there for any help I could give)

“Felix : That’s all a hollywood script. The media tell us some fake about what they DONT know but the dont tell us what they know. That is a bad amateurish theatre performing a cheap and dumb actors staff.”

“Our intelligence services did much better scripts in the past. Their amateurish directing of theatre plots and media manipulation paired with brain washing of the people had started with the crazy 9/11 plot. Of course, the internet makes it much tougher for their Clean Teams today. But they should be able to do a much better job. Bad education at school might be the reason.”

There is still hope for better stories. In the US the head of the CIA resigned, urgently, because he was a bad boy cheating on his wife. Like that’s an urgent reason.

One speculation is he told a bad story to a Congressional inquiry about the Benghazi attack; bad unbeliveable details, like street mobs protesting blasphemous video come with mortars and can use them with only 15 minutes training.

2nd speculation is Chicago mob knew of his affair and blackmailed him into telling stories they wanted and finally to push him out fast.

Your English is better than my German.

    This is Claire Schutz.

    This is her brother Laurent:

    http://copainsdavant.com/p/laurent-schutz-6038260

Interesting is that it says that she lives in Albertville. Perhaps because it was not updated recently.

    James:
Not unusual whwn she does not have facebook. Unusual when she has a facebook page. I did not find her on facebook. There are Claire Schutz entries but it is not her.

Since she is the new mother of Mathis and Leo and living in the same house, i would expect that they would mention her.

  • Shelock H.

Hear, hear!!!!! Just on the NEWS:

CIA-Boss David Petraeus is leaving his job.
He says he was/is having an affaire, which wouldn’t be suitable to his job…..
    Nothing more?????

Interesting. Sylvain Mollier writes an article on page 44&45 – but the PDF is cut after 23 pages, so we don´t know what this Sylvain Mollier is saying.
    It´s from 2003.

    About CRIIRAD:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CRIIRAD

Tricastin Nuclear Power Plant, owned by AREVA and EDF, had some problems with CRIIRAD 2008:
“In the near vicinity and above ground, the local watchdog group CRIIRAD has detected unusually high levels of radiation.”

    BB:

Who, in heaven, has told you, the boys are now living with her in the same house??

(BTW: somebody has asked Leo where he’s living?? I think, the answer was Annecy.
But I’m not 100% sure- but it wasn’t Ugine, that’s for sure)

As much as i remenber, it were the newspapers who had told us that the boys are living with Sylvain Mollier. However, you are right that we should better not believe into what the newspapers had told us.

It´s from CRIIAD in Valence, which is not so far from SM:s area ( approx 140 km ).

  • Katie

Shelock, I do not believe that would be the Petraus choice.
See this quote from one of Obama’s security team :

    RE: Obama.

” Clinton all over again” – hates the military and looks down on the Secret Service. He is egotistical and cunning; looks you in the eye and appears to agree with you, but turns around and does the opposite – untrustworthy. He has temper tantrums.
*She is a complete bitch, who basically hates anybody who is not black; hates the military; and looks at the Secret Service as servants.”

  • James

@Shelock @Bluebird (and Mrs Bluebird in the nest !)

So what have we got (no prejudice now folks).

Mollier, 2 children. New wife, new born.
    Man of sport.
Would it be safe to say…a high priced bike or two ?

Claire, no children (but the new born).
    Educated. Local. Former/previous German ? Father’s side ?

Before I go on… am I right so far ?

  • James

    KATIE !

Oddly, you have hit (if it is that side of my “right and left”) on the head with that last post.

I would sooner have “blue lips” in power, than “King Mitt and his merry wives” to be fair….

And that is the plot feel. What you have said “hates the military” !

But the US have not had a “military”, they have only ever hadthe Neo Cons…and that from way back when.

    I have TWO theories.
    “passion” OR “politics”.

Second is “no one wants a war”.
Rea a guy called Mark Golding. He posted on the other thread at the start of all this. Heard nothing since, but he posted on some other things before.

A very wise man. I think he knew more (much more) than we know.

  • Katie

James I’m not going to get into the politics, but an affaire is the weakest excuse.
If Clinton can disgrace the White House over a murky affaire & stay as President, I’m damned sure Petraus could have, my bet is he didn’t get on with O & wanted to go, O wanted him out too , it was a mutual decision so this is the way ‘they’ cooked it.

  • NR

@ Q Was there not found in Iraq 500 tons (metric or English, long or short tonnes I don’t know) of yellowcake that were transported to Canada? Yellowcake that Saddam was not supposed to have, or why else the big deal about him trying to smuggle some from Niger?

@ all The left and right sides are spinning the story of the head of the US CIA urgently resigning because of an affair so fast, both forward and reverse, they will get stuck against an embankment.

It’s reassuring a CIA chief takes his moral responsibilities so seriously. We would not want him setting a bad example for the junior spies.

What if he was having an affair with a person in the Muslim Brotherhood in a burqua – that would be a scandal. It is dangerous to make jokes here. The media will read it as fact and in 15 minutes re-tweet it around the world, causing some great unknown crisis.

  • bluebird

    James

When you go to the schutz pharmacy website that i linked, then i believe that this is a family run shop and father and mother miggt be listed there. Click “equipe” on that website on the left side and you can see them with pictures. Schutz is really not a german name german would be Schütz. It was originally german bit was “en-frenched”. There are many Schutz in Western Switzerland, too.i would guess tgat this family is already in France for more than 3 generations.

Of course Thierry Schutz could be an uncle, tio. We must check deeper but i doubt that this would bring us any further regarding this topic.

  • James

    Bluebird…

I am purely speculating on two fronts.
    One passion. One politics.

    I see reason in both.

    @Katie
I think with regard the American thing, both principles are mad.
Yet one is more crazy than the other.
I work as a pilot. I fly private jets for my boss. I fly all over.
Last week I was in Doha three times. I flew up the gulf (I even taped the lights as I came down past Bah’rain Island).
I see that no one (well one perhaps) wants a war. No one.

In the USA (the people that never leave their country) may want a war, but some there are more clever. They stop wars.

    You have to see that.

  • James

    Katie…

    I will say more !

As an Irish Jew, who flies for an Arab boss..and spends 200 duty days keeping his safety in mind…in places far from Europe…but where life still is, I do worry about “America”.

An Irish Jew flies a House of Saud Arab !
And we both talk of “Mitt” !

I can not say this enough. Persian Iran, nor Arab Saudi want a war.

    So who does ?

  • James

    “The Guns of August”

One thing becomes a bigger thing. A well read book by JFK.
And he wanted to avoid a war in South East Asia.

    History !

  • Katie

I don’t know how you got onto ‘war’ James, but I’m sure it’s true no one wants or ‘likes’ war.
However, I do believe sometimes they are necessary.

Petraeus of course is now out of the way in time for the Benghazi inquiry next month, I strongly suspect that’s what this is about, the CIA guys begged for more cover, Obama refused !

Anyhow, I’m away now, night night.
