Not Forgetting the al-Hillis 22281

The mainstream media for the most part has moved on. But there are a few more gleanings to be had, of perhaps the most interesting comes from the Daily Mirror, which labels al-Hilli an extremist on the grounds that he was against the war in Iraq, disapproved of the behaviour of Israel and had doubts over 9/11 – which makes a great deal of the population “extremist”. But the Mirror has the only mainstream mention I can find of the possibility that Mossad carried out the killings. Given Mr al-Hilli’s profession, the fact he is a Shia, the fact he had visited Iran, and the fact that Israel heas been assassinating scientists connected to Iran’s nuclear programme, this has to be a possibility. There are of course other possibilities, but to ignore that one is ludicrous.

Which leads me to the argument of Daily Mail crime reporter, Stephen Wright, that the French police should concentrate on the idea that this was a killing by a random Alpine madman or racist bigot. Perfectly possible, of course, and the anti-Muslim killings in Marseille might be as much a precedent as Mossad killings of scientists. But why the lone madman idea should be the preferred investigation, Mr Wright does not explain. What I did find interesting from a man who has visited many crime scenes are his repeated insinuations that the French authorities are not really trying very hard to find who the killers were, for example:

the crime scene would have been sealed off for a minimum of seven to ten days, to allow detailed forensic searches for DNA, fibres, tyre marks and shoe prints to take place.
Nearby bushes and vegetation would have been searched for any discarded food and cigarette butts left by the killer, not to mention the murder weapon.
But from what I saw at the end of last week, no such searches had taken place and potentially vital evidence could have been missed. House to house inquiries in the local area had yet to be completed and police had not made specific public appeals for information about the crime. No reward had been put up for information about the shootings.
Behind the scenes, what other short cuts have been taken? Have police seized data identifying all mobile phones being used in the vicinity of the murders that day?

The idea that the French authorities – who are quite as capable as any other of solving cases – are not really trying very hard is an interesting one.

Which leads me to this part of a remarkable article from the Daily Telegraph, which if true points us back towards a hit squad and discounts the ides that there was only one gun:

Claims that only one gun was used to kill everybody is likely to be disproved by full ballistics test results which are out in October.
While the 25 spent bullet cartridges found at the scene are all of the same kind, they could in fact have come from a number of weapons of the same make.
This throws up the possibility of a well-equipped, highly-trained gang circling the car and then opening fire.
Both children were left alive by the killers, who had clinically pumped bullets into everybody else, including five into Mr Mollier.
Zainab was found staggering around outside the car by Brett Martin, a British former RAF serviceman who cycled by moments after the attack, but he saw nobody except the schoolgirl.
Her sister, Zeena, was found unscathed and hiding in the car eight hours later.
Both sisters are now back in Britain, and are believed to have been reunited at a secret location near London.

There are of course a number of hit squad options, both governmental and private, which might well involve iraqi or Iranian interests – on both of which the mainstream media have been very happy to speculate while almost unanimously ignoring Israel.

But what interests me is why the Daily Telegraph choose, in the face of all the evidence, to minimise the horrific nature of the attack by stating that “Both children were left alive by the killers”? Zainab was not left alive by design, she was shot in the chest and her skull was stove in, which presumably was a pretty serious attempt to kill a seven year-old child. The other girl might very well have succeeded in hiding from the killers under her mother’s skirts, as she hid from the first rescuers, and then for eight hours from the police.

The Telegraph article claims to be informed by sources close to the investigation. So they believe it was a group of people, and feel motivated to absolve those people from child-killing. Now what could the Daily Telegraph be thinking?

I said “for example”. Is Kingsley Amis good enough for you then as he uses the spelling in his novel “Lucky Jim”.

eagle, great investigation. How friendly did the cook look in that Polish restaurant?
Is there a register in the UK where we could find out about who owns that 55 Princess Gate house. Could it be N/A. or perhaps one of his many companies?

    +++++

I got some more info about Frederic Brun. It really seems to me now that Peter was right and Brun was a local.

He lived in 5, av. Jules Bianco, Ugine. This is a house with several flats.
Opposite in 12, av. Jules Bianco he had a Beauty & Relaxation Business.
You can have a look at both houses in google streetview.
He had a second Beauty & Relaxation business in Saint Alban Leysee (that is close to Chambery) that he had only opened a few months ago in March 2012.

I could not find anything useful about his alleged boyfriend Daniel David. However, I found a Daniel David Brun in Clermont-Ferrant. I don’t know if two guys could marry in France and if so, that the other one could perhaps adopt the surname of his partner. If that’s the case, then this guy could be his partner in law.

Here’s Kenneth’s political party (my last post on this for today):

The National Socialist Movement of Denmark (Danish: Danmarks Nationalsocialistiske Bevægelse, DNSB) is a neo-Nazi political party in Denmark. The movement traces its origins back to DNSAP (Danmarks Nationalsocialistiske Arbejderparti), the Danish Nazi party founded in the mid-1930s, more or less as a copy of Hitler’s German NSDAP.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Socialist_Movement_of_Denmark

    Charming.

But they give good lessons on English spelling, so I hear.

Kenneth, please do come back and tell us how to spell our own language, won’t you? Kathy is quite right, incidentally, s and z are both equally correct, and have been for several decades now. But your arrogance in telling us how to spell our own language is breathtaking, especially seeing as you seem to have trouble spelling some of our words yourself.

Incidentally, most Danes I have met are lovely: as a rule I have found them to be quiet and unassuming people, modest and moderate in their ways. Kenneth’s arrogance and vitriol are quite outstanding, and I am sure most of his countrymen would be ashamed to hear their country being represented in his way here. After all, as Kenneth himself said, Denmark saved all their Jews in the Second World War and the country has a proud history of liberalism and tolerance.

Its a wonder with all these deaths in Annecy that the Government havent warned English Visitors against travelling to this area like they do for a war zone!

3 bodies in the lake hey!

You did the alleging. As it clearly states here {http://www.libramemoria.com/fr/carnet/ugine/savoie/frederic-brun-da3f9c55c47040baaf8d0d2182a6770a.html}, that is the mother’s partner. Although a “Marie” is mentioned there, I followed the “Brindille” route. Not that this matters either way.

I have just discovered this thread and am still ploughing through it. Some interesting opinions and assertions but how does one distinguish between fact and fiction – the D Notice for example. I have commented on this case in different forums since it happened, some of which can be viewed at http://something-stinks.com/WordPress/?p=250 if you are interested. It seems to me that this incident can be viewed on several “levels”. Of course there is the crime itself, and as with every crime trying to work out who did it and why. But to this is the question as to the effectiveness of the police investigation (taking five weeks to set up a call line is only the most recent of the apparent incompetences), the role of the media (why do they appear so ineffective at getting answers?) and finally perhaps the most sinister and important, is the investigation being subverted or media being manipulated for some extraneous motive? There are certainly elements of the crime and how it has been handled that must scream doubts even in those most confident in the probity of our constitution and institutions of state.

  • Tim V

Of all the questions this crime throws up let me refer to just one: the central role played by (William) Brett Martin, the only witness (leaving aside the traumatised and injured children) who came upon the scene within minutes of the murders, immediately described as “stumbling on the scene” and “heroic” by the French authorities. Of course the question arises, was he an innocent by-stander who was unlucky enough to come across, and have to respond to, an horrific scene in a very remote location, or was there more to it? We were told he was “ex-RAF” and later discovered he was the sole proprietor of a rather unusual company, which on the face of it, was in desperate financial straits, but did he, is he, in any way connected to the British or other, secret services? Some have suggested if he had been, his identity would have been protected. This is a fair point but not wholly dismissive of the possibility that he was in fact carrying out some clandestine role.

  • Mochyn69

    Welcome, Tim.

There’s a lot of it to read over, what is it? 3 separate threads on here .. plus links to icke and marilyntomaz and many, many others.

Sure there’s ‘more to it’. question is, what???

  • Peter

    @ Tim V

No, I presume that the local village bobbies correctly concluded that he was “un gentleman anglais,” and that they therefore could dispense with troublesome formalities such as testing his hands for gunshot residue, confiscating his clothes, taking blood and DNA samples etc. 😉

  • Ferret

    @Tim V

Good summary but I have to query this sentence:

“…sole proprietor of a rather unusual company, which on the face of it, was in desperate financial straits…”

WBM’s company Silver Fern (Sussex) Ltd has lost about £60k since its formation, out of a total investment of somewhere over £600k, so it’s not doing brilliantly.

But last year they did turn a very small profit, for the first time. So… why do you say it is “in desperate financial straits”?

Clearly this is not the only income of WBM, who must be living off something else – there are no salaries drawn and no padded expenses.

So it looks like he invested some lump sums in the business, the questions really are (a) where did the money come from (b) why did he start off investing in futures and options, risking so much money with seemingly no experience, and (c) what does he live off in the meantime – clearly not his holiday rentals!!

  • bluebird

Ferret, the Silver Fern investment (and I believe that it was the only significant one they had done) was the purchase of that house in Annecy. It belongs to Silver Fern and Silver Fern rents it out to visitors. You could spend your holidays in that house if you wish. Nice possibility for having a small talk with WBM.

  • Ferret

    @Bluebird

Ha ha ha ha ha… you first mate! (And, fat chance!)

    😀

Also, Silver Fern’s accounts do show some investments in futures & options in earlier years… not so sure about now though.

The house in France is quite a recent investment, bought about a year and a half ago…

  • bluebird

    Hi Tim V,

Did you write that in the link you posted?
“green 4wheel drive and motor bike passing him twice”

If so, do we have any links where we can read that sentence in a press release? I haven’t read that before.

  • Ferret

    @Ricki

The joker who reposted your stuff on Icke’s was our dear friend “Kenneth”, aka jorgennielsen over there.

  • Ricki Tarr

Im just watching New banged up abroad on Nat geo and it is about Latif Yahia a double for Saddams son, when he was allowed to visit his family for 30 mins only he was afraid that if any of his family talked about what he was doing for Saddam that they would all be killed he said – “with this regime you dont go alone, all your family is going with you”!

  • Ricki Tarr

@Kenneth – You know, I know! just remove it!

If you dont and I find any further info from my source you will not be party to it!

  • Mochyn69

Not sure why Ricki posted what he did and then asked for it to be pulled.

Even if his source didn’t want it published, everything is already out there in the public domain ..

So why the great panic, Ricki?

  • Ricki Tarr

@Mochy – Well its because the information would reveal that the moon landings where fake and everyone other than you is part of a reptilian alien master race!

Because I want to work with this person again and it may turn up some good leads! maybe they are experts in their field and it would be better to get their opinion as us mere mortals may have missed something important! Savy?

“French investigators have made a new appeal for information concerning the brutal murder of a British-Iraqi family and a cyclist near Annecy last month.

A fresh appeal for witnesses almost six weeks after the event suggests that the joint Franco-British investigation is still struggling to explain the mysterious killings on a remote forest road near the village of Chevaline.

Senior gendarmerie officers have asked anyone who met or saw the Al-Hilli family during their stay in France to contact a free phone number (00 33 800 002 950). They have also appealed for anyone who was within a few miles of the murder scene on 5 September to contact them.”
