CIA Plot Against Correa Funded by Drug Money 1271

Hillary Clinton is repeating the methodology of the Iran/Contra affair, using “black” funds to finance the operation to ensure President Correa is not re-elected.

I had two excellent sources for the news that the US/UK strategy against Julian Assange was to ensure the defeat of President Correa in Presidential elections next spring, and then have him expelled from the Ecuadorean Embassy. One source was within the UK civil service and one in Washington. Both had direct, personal access to the information I described. Both told me in the knowledge I would publish it.

Of course Assange is not the only reason Clinton wants rid of Correa; but it adds spice and urgency.

We now have completely independent evidence from Chile that this CIA operation exists, from journalists who were investigating a smuggling operation involving 300 kg per month of cocaine, organised by the Chilean army and security services.

The links to US intelligence emerged after an anonymous source from the Agencia Nacional de Inteligencia (ANI) told Panoramas News that the smuggling of 300 kilos of cocaine was in fact a highly sensitive CIA/DEA operation that would help to raise money to topple the government of Ecuador. The operation is similar to the one carried out by the Agency in Central America during the Iran-Contra scandal in the 1980’s, the source said.

A few days ago I published information I had received that Patricio Mery Bell, the director of the news programme which broke the story, had been lured to a meeting with a young lady “informant” who had worked with CIA-backed anti-Cuban groups in Miami. She had then accused him of sexual assault (does any of that scenario sound familiar?) He was arrested and his materials had been confiscated. However I took the article down after jst a few minutes because I had received the information in emails from sources I did not know previously, and was unsure it could stand up. It does now appear that this is indeed true.

My Washigton informant had told me, as I published, that the funds for the anti-Correa operation were not from the CIA budget but from secret funds controlled by the Pentagon. This could not be done by CIA funds because, perhaps surprisingly, for the CIA to operate in this way is a crime in the United States.

Whether my informant knew or suspected that the “secret Pentagon funds” were drug money I do not know. They did not mention narcotics.

    Ben

Modern Christianity is just blowback from a 2000 year old Roman psy-op against the Jews. I read that in a comment on the Jerusalem Post at some point.

  • Ben Franklin (head honcho CIA Office for Craig Murray Operations)

    Anon;

Tevye said it best. All they have is, TRADITION. Beyond that, it’s just bells and whistles.

btw, I’m not anti-anything, except hypocrisy, stupidity and willful ignorance.

  • Donald

Spent some time with Twitter comments defending the Zionist entity in Palestine.

    The inhumanity!

And now I’m going for a good, long steep.

  • this

@Anon “Which member of the Thatcher cabinet was unexpectedly banished to the Continent?

    Leon Brittan.

Let’s also recall that Ben Fellows has accused current cabinet minister Kenneth Clarke of sexually abusing him. Mr Fellows, once a child actor, and who has exposed the very widespread occurrence of paedophilia and sexual abuse of young people in the entertainment world, has accused Clarke under his own name.

Are the newspapers, BBC, and ITN interested? Have they put Mr Fellows’s allegation to Clarke? Has he denied it? If yes, then of course it wrongfully damages his reputation, so why doesn’t he sue? If no, then one assumes it’s true.

  • Anon

Someone is firing rockets from very near Harry Fear’s location. Heard it go off on the live feed. That’s really not a good idea for him to be so close to a launch site.

  • this

Of course Mr Fellows may be caused to decide that oops, it was all a case of mistaken identity.

In which case, Clarke could issue a statement saying that while he doesn’t think Mr Fellows has been malicious, he was nonetheless totally shocked when he heard the totally false allegation, and he’ll sue the socks off anyone who repeats it.

Instead…we get a complete media blackout.

8 Nov – Palestinian Child Killed By Military Fire In Khan Younis
Palestinian medical sources reported that a Palestinian child was killed, on Thursday evening, after Israeli soldiers opened fire at Palestinians east of Khan Younis city, in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.
The sources said that the child, Hameed Younis Abu Doqqa, 12, was killed by rounds of live ammunition fired by an Israeli military helicopter.
Eyewitnesses said that the soldiers opened fire at several civilians and their homes in al-Faraheen area, in Khan Younis, leading to the death of the child.

then go to imemc’s homepage and read about the daily attacks, killings of palestinians on page after page…

how much was reported in the western MSM?

If people would stop referring to these blasted holy books of fairy stories, as if they had any relevance at all, it would be a start towards taking religion out of the issue. The mass-murdering squatters, calling themselves ‘Israel’ clearly want to drag these concocted fantasies into this affair as they often do though need no excuse to cry falsely anti-semitism (whilst killing the semitic inheritors of Palestine in droves –go figure). A problem is that the religious fiction writers claimed all the nice turns of phrase early on, but for Israel ‘as ye fucking sow, ye shall fucking reap’ rings true. Sigmund Freud called all religious belief “mental derangement” and then for once got something near right.

A wonder no-one has claimed six million rockets (and five million catherine wheels, three million sparklers) have landed, liking their sad fuck mystic numerology too. International law (yet) and even language has nothing that encompasses the enormity of Zionist heinousness.
It isn’t that Israel has turned rogue, it ever was pre-meditated wickedness written in blood.

Here is a list of Zionist terrorist operations given religious names. Can people add to the list?

    1) Operation Passover Cleaning (Bi’ur Hametz).
This refers to the ritual hunting for and removal of any traces of leavened bread in the house, prior to Passover. The idea is of total cleaning, total removal of any traces.

This was the name the Zionists gave to their terrorist operation in Arab areas in Haifa in April 1948, which involved orders to kill any Arab they could find, large-scale psychological operations, and mass expulsions, so that the ‘cleared’ areas could be settled by Jews. The operation was a forerunner of the Deir Yassin massacre and the ensuing catastrophe involving the expulsion not of thousands but of hundreds of thousands of people who fled the Zionist death squads.

Passover itself of course refers to the coming of the Angel of Death and the killing of non-Jews’ first-born sons in Egypt.

I don’t know of any other religion which is as racist as Judaism, but a roughly equivalent phrase might be ‘Clearing the Muck out of the Stables’.

    2) Operation Cast Lead. This refers to a poem by H N Bialik about the children’s spinning tops which feature in Hannukah rituals. Dreidels have 4 Hebrew letters on them, which form an acronym for “a great miracle happened there”, nowadays changed in some Zionist-occupied areas in Palestine to “a great miracle happened here”. ‘There’ and ‘here’ mean Jerusalem. The story is of a Jewish conquest of that city, rededication of the Temple by the conquerors, and keeping the candelabra lit using a small amount of oil which miraculously lasted for 8 days. That was the ‘great miracle’ with which the tribal god is supposed to have shown his approval of the conquest.

A rough equivalent might be ‘Jingle Bullets’.

The game played with dreidels involves gambling and money-lending, and the use of the 4 letters involves notarikon.

    3) Operation ‘Pillar of Cloud’, for which the Zionists have said the official English language translation is ‘Pillar of Defence’.

The ‘Pillar of Cloud’ refers to the manifestation of the tribal god which in Jewish religious belief led the Jews in daytime during the exodus from Egypt; in night-time it changed to a pillar of fire.

Our position should be clear: people under attack by fascist forces have a right to defend themselves, and all of the rocket attacks from Gaza against the Zionists are justified.

Can I modestly suggest that everyone bombards the Guardian’s CIF site with comments. They really are censoring ever so blatantly and unfortunately there are many people out there who still think the Guardian is a left wing, balanced paper. A lot of moderated comments would make them look a bit silly. Whatever you do, don’t mention Apax partners, a very touchy subject it seems.

  • Komodo

    O/ current T – humble apologies…

Nevermind – The Independent, Betts, is still on the ballot forms. Gave him 1st and 2nd choice. If he’s really not standing, the shit hits the fan. And if he is there’s a bit of explaining due all round.

  • technicolour

BBC News: Rockets from Gaza killed 3 Israelis: Israelis ‘accused’ of killing child. BBC colleague with dead child forced to explain there were no militants in his area: they were all civilians – as if presence of militants would have excused death of child. Big fuss about rockets fired ‘towards’ Tel Aviv: no-one killed but according to world correspondent this is a ‘very significant’ development with Israelis already ‘worried’ about ‘nuclear threat’ from Iran. No mention that Iran has no nuclear weapons according to everyone. BBC under massive pressure from Israel and government of course.

  • Komodo

unfortunately there are many people out there who still think the Guardian is a left wing, balanced paper.

Including CiF Watch, a hasbara site in fear of which the CiF editor is constantly deleting posts…
I’m not linking to a pile of apologist faeces, you’ll have to find it for yourselves.

  • Komodo

Religious names for atrocities (4) (and see N_’s post above)

    (4) 1996 Operation “Grapes of Wrath”:
    http://www.hrw.org/reports/1997/isrleb/Isrleb.htm

    Sample:
The fact that Lebanese civilians were unwilling or unable to leave their homes according to timetables laid down by the Israeli military in no way absolved Israel of its duty under international humanitarian law to protect the civilian population from the dangers arising from military operations, nor did it give Israeli forces a license to attack without distinction or proper precautions homes and vehicles in Mansouri, Nabatiyeh, or elsewhere in south Lebanon.

  • nevermind

Komodo, he is no Independent, he was a Tory for the last 16 years and has had an attendance record of 50.4%, tough.

I did not vote as I do not want to give them a good turnout figure, don’t know anybody who has.

  • Komodo

    (5) 2006 invasion of Lebanon – Operation Stone of Fire.
Bit more obscure, but still in G_d’s word. And carefully chosen.

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus,[Tyre, in Lebanon -K]….Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as pofane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stone of fire

    Ezekiel 28:12-19

  • technicolour

Still, at least they interviewed a Palestinian father. And I’m sure that Israelis must be desperately worried, given who’s running their country.

  • Komodo

Thanks, Nevermind. Only voted in case it was close for Athill. Looking at their records, they’re all bloody Tories anyway. But if Betts withdrew and he’s still on the ballot form, that requires investigation and perhaps a rerun. I for one will be very displeased I was not informed he had dropped out…(cough)

  • Habbabkuk

@ Technicolour : followed the same TV broadcast. About 20 secs worth of the Palestinian father and twice as much at least of Bibi and then the BBC’s Katie Adler (just out of curiosity, is she jewish?)

Harry Fear on Twitter – supplementary to Thatcrab’s sterling work –

    https://twitter.com/harryfear

He’s having power problems, although I gather he has a generator. Wonder if the “Hamas infrastructure” being “surgically targeted” (as they say) includes Gaza’s power station? It usually does.

  • thatcrab

Harry is back and reported over 100 Israeli bombs have been dropped in the last half hour. Gaza city west being attacked. He should be back live in another 20 mins after an interview for aljazeera.

Ive been trying to bring news of this to Reddit today, but the site seems completely unintrested and swamped by hasbara. It has performed a little better with news like this in the past, i hope it will be noticed and rebound.

  • nevermind

Harry has to be very careful not to use his equipment outside, especially not his phone. There reports of rockets fired near him and he should be advised to move around a bit, have a plan B.

@Komodo you can breath easy, Brett is on the list, comes over ignorant at hustings, but he has a woman as deputy who knows how to do the job, her name is Jenny Mc Kibben.

So what was this about the schnapps, no good getting my mouth watering, rotter….

  • Habbabkuk

@ Komodo : well, there’s no-one more anti-refugee (if you can call the people of Gaza refugees) than the children of refugees. Michael Howard – the scion of a Romanian family with the somewhat un-Romanian name of Hecht – being a case in point.
