Yes Scotland Meetings 818

Confirmed speaking dates at the moment are
26 August St Andrews
28 August Insch
29 August Dundee
30 August Cupar, Fife

I will post details of times and venues shortly – these are all evening events. I am still open to invitations on dates around these, and indeed any daytime events. Don’t mind dashing all over the place. A number are in the pipeline already. Contact me using the button at top of page.

Have been rather unwell the last couple of days, so please forgive lack of regular posts. BBC Hardtalk interview with Anders Fogh Rasmussen of NATO made me feel much worse. Totally incapable of acknowledging the disasters NATO and NATO members have inflicted on the world since the collapse of the Soviet Union – and the BBC totally incapable of serious questioning on the point.

    “The pocketbook is their achilles heel.”

    Nothing like a bit of racial stereotyping.

    @Ben

    We would love to help you we really would.

    Could you maybe persuade Israel to start exporting something deep fried, preferably in batter, then we can boycott it.

  • Ben-American Fascist Flechette

    Racial stereotype my bum.

    Economics drives politics and nationalism….even amongst Roman Catholics and Protestants in the West. Try to get some perspective.

    “The love of money is the root of all evil”

    I think that’s a christian perspective.

    Israel doesn’t export Haggis in cans? They are missing market share, Fred 🙂

  • Republicofscotland

    Israel is concerned. Remember the panicked cries when the FAA stopped flights into Israel? The pocketbook is their achilles heel.

    I suppose if it worked once it could again.

    Of course when someone like Obama (Zionist puppet) says, “I don’t worry about Israel.” then you must wonder if he’d allow more sanctions on them, it looks like people power may yet sway the vote in favour of sanctions.

    Oh, you mean the first Black POTUS, RoS? Well, that’s to be expected. His position is ceremonial. It’s just to put a face on US policy.

    No one lets him actually govern. It’s been this way since Truman signed the National Security Act of 1947, wherein CIA and NSA was created. These are the actual drivers of policy.

    “So according to your logic as long as there’s freedom of speech on the internet, and this blog, in the UK, we are somehow living in a democracy.”

    You’re making conclusions for me on the basis of words which – if you looked carefully – you will see that I didn’t use (“democracy”). I’m not going to get into a discussion with you about democracy because O suspect it would not be fruitful.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Get back to my original comment, which was
    “No Eminence or Useful Idiot here has yet disappeared, lost his job or been jailed or otherwise harassed by the police.”
    and have the grace to admit that the examples you offered in your reply have nothing to do with what I was saying.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    PS – I had you down simply as a rather dishonest Scottish nationalist but from your latest at 15h48 (on Israel) I can see that you firmly subscribe to the totality of the pensĂ©e unique on this blog. You are of course free to do so, because people on the UK enjoy free speech within the confines of the law. And that freedom is one of the reasons why the UK is a free country.

    Corrections FAO ‘Jemand’ earlier.

    Someone on here was PRETENDING to be me. I know nothing about Stormfront nor have I have ever looked at the website even to see what the false comment was. I not wizened. Far from it. I am not old and do not feel or act as if I am old as you might have sussed. I am not a troll either. We rely on you and the other trolls for that function.

    You are stealing the script from the main troll who so far has left 17 comments to litter this page, ie 22% of the total of 75.

    Keep Britain Tidy I say!

    “Keep Britain Tidy I say!” That’s a responsible form of ‘recycling’ re-cycled trash, eh Mary?

  • YouKnowMyName

    The Telegraph Science correspondent today puts UK terrorism into perspective.

    Thanks for that bit of science, now can someone *focus* on the actual terrorism due/post US foreign policy Color revolutions and the actual threat to UKUSA/5EYES from either of the Scottish people-power possible outcomes? In this free country would we see next year a “Tartan-revolution”, with the thistle as the symbol, and US snipers on Castle Rock, should this free country vote “YES”?

    Binoy Kampmark from RMIT University in Melbourne with campuses in Vietnam and Spain writes:

    Pre-empting Imperial Wishes
    Australia Reading the United States
    August 16th, 2014

    ‘The measuring of what the US will do is important for the amateur psychoanalysts in the Prime Minister’s office. If the murmurings are humanitarian, then the Australian response is to anticipate that. Abbott has spoken to US officials about the “potential humanitarian disaster” in Northern Iraq that awaits if the planes aren’t flown in and the supplies aren’t dropped. “President Obama has already said that it has the potential to become a genocide and that’s why it’s important for Australia to join with our international partners in doing what we can to render humanitarian assistance.” Note: it matters not a jot what the Australian assessment on the ground would have been – what Obama says, goes.

    Humanitarian aid drops have a tendency of becoming military drops – food aid gives way to weapons when the moral rhetoric gets steamy with righteous indignation. Abbott is careful to underline the monstrosity he, and his colleagues, are facing while trumpeting the need to “protect civilians from a murderous onslaught.” The fate of the refugees of the Yazidi sect are coming in for some heavy publicity. Describing the capacity of the Royal Australian Air Force in terms of its humanitarian credentials is one thing (“a fleet of six C-17A Globemaster heavy lift aircraft as well as C-130 Hercules transport aircraft”); adding the military edge to it is something that will come in due course. “We are talking to our … security partners about what we can usefully do to help.”

    At this writing, the prospects of troops joining a mission against ISIS is very real indeed. Minister for Defence, Senator David Johnston, has left that road open despite the fact that Washington has not approached either he or the Prime Minister. This, despite US Secretary of State John Kerry claiming on Tuesday that there would be “no reintroduction of American combat forces.”’

    So true.

    “They Pulled Me Back In”
    By Eric Margolis
    August 16, 2014 “ICH”

    Armed humanitarianism 2.0. That’s our new western version of old-fashioned 19th century imperialism, now feminized by President Barack Obama’s lady advisors, painted pink and accompanied by the kind of soft piano music you hear in ads for women’s products.

    Last week, the Obama administration latched onto the plight of Iraq’s Yazidis who were being persecuted by those awful ISIS folks – just in jolly good time to divert attention from the massacre in Gaza.

    How handy. All three US networks and the increasingly shackled BBC were ordered to drop Gaza reporting and refocus their camera teams on the suffering Yazidis and, all of a sudden, Iraq’s fleeing Christians.

    This was a brilliant media ploy. The world, which was furious at the US for enabling Israel’s savaging of Gaza and killing of almost 2,000 Palestinians, switched its attention to the hitherto unknown Yazidis, and to Iraqi Christians. No one in the US had ever heard of Yazidis but that was ok. Uncle Sam to the rescue.

    No mention was made that Iraq’s Christians had been safe and sound under President Saddam Hussein – even privileged – until President George Bush invaded and destroyed Iraq. We can expect the same fate for Syria’s Christians if the protection of the Assad regime is torn away by the US-engineered uprising. We will then shed crocodile tears for Syria’s Christians.’

    Re the above comment by you,what on earth are you on about, by that comment, dishonest how, the only pretence here is your claim, see below.

    The Eminences and Useful Idiots on the whole live in the UK – which is a free country where they can express the various opinions they do. As, for example, on this blog.

    No Eminence or Useful Idiot here has yet disappeared, lost his job or been jailed or otherwise harrassed by the police. As always, I stand ready to be corrected on this.

    Just because as I’ve previously stated, no one in HERE has suffered doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

    Scottish independence: Alex Salmond to clarify currency stance

    ‘Mr Salmond and Mr Darling will take part in a televised BBC debate in Glasgow on 25 August

    Scotland Decides
    What’s going on in Scotland?
    How to register to vote
    What’s making voters switch sides?
    Check out the latest polls

    Alex Salmond has said he could have made his position on the currency of an independent Scotland clearer during a recent TV debate.

    The first minister went head-to-head with Better Together leader Alistair Darling in the STV debate on 5 August.

    Mr Darling repeatedly pressed Mr Salmond to set out his “plan B” on currency during the exchanges.

    Mr Salmond has now conceded that he wished he had explained his position “in more detail”.’

    In a strictly technical sense, you’re right. But you might consider this blog as representative of the privilege of free speech – if no one commenting on here (and there are some very whacky “ideas” being propagated) has suffered in the manner I set out then I think it’s a fair bet that no one elsewhere exercising their right of free speech has either (always within the limits of the law).

    Moreover, I note that you have not so far been able to refer to any examples to the contrary.

    Let us, however, try looking at this from the other end of the telescope. Can you give me examples of legislation in the UK which in your opinion forbid free speech and render the UK an unfree country?

  • Republicofscotland

    Haven’t you twigged yet? There is no reason why he should follow your orders, this is a free country.

    The more you squirm the more he enjoys it.

    E-mail just in from my Jewish friend in Devon.

    Three cheers for the port workers in Oakland and the protesters.

    ‘Subject: Big victory in Oakland!

    Somewhere between 5-10,000 people mobilized today in Oakland, California, USA, trying to keep an Israeli ship from the Zim Lines from being unloaded today. Mobilization was so good that they didn’t even enter San Francisco Bay! Big victory–spirited march, many people, not going to take this shit any more! I marched both to and from the gate of the Port of Oakland—very impressive!

    There was a very internationalist aspect to this march: people were referring to Israeli apartheid, consciously linking it to South Africa, as well making links specifically to Haiti, the Philippines, and Ferguson, Missouri—really nice!

    Please spread widely!’
    ++++++++++

    ZIM = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zim_Integrated_Shipping_Services

    A relic of the Occupation.

    Zim Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. (Hebrew: צים‎), formerly ZIM Israel Navigation Company Ltd. and Zim American Israeli Shipping Inc., is the biggest cargo shipping company in Israel, and 10th largest in the world. The company’s headquarters are in Haifa; it also has a North American headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia.[1]

    ZIM was founded in 1945,[2] by the Jewish Agency and the Histadrut (General Federation of Laborers in the Land of Israel). The first ship was purchased in partnership with Harris and Dixon (based in London) in 1947. This vessel was refurbished, renamed SS Kedma, and sailed to the future state of Israel in the summer of 1947. During her first years, her main task was transporting hundreds of thousands of immigrants to the emerging state. Some of the other ships that had been used for clandestine immigration before the establishment of Israel as a state were confiscated by the British mandate authorities and later joined the company’s fleet. The company continued to purchase more ships, among them SS Negba, SS Artza and SS Galila.

    Since you evidently like repeating yourself, I shall in turn repeat what I answered then, namely :

    So what? If the Royals don’t do a proper job of work, you call them idle parasites. When they do, you accuse them of taking jobs away from someone else.

    Do you not realise how very silly you sound?
