The Racist Concept of Israel 543

Israeli economics minister Naftali Bennett has claimed of Binyamin Netanyahu that “The prime minister is not a private person but the leader of the Jewish state and the whole Jewish world.” Really? Netanyahu is the leader of all the Jews in London, or California, or Ethiopia, who may never have set foot in his state?

This extraordinary remark by Bennett lays bare the fundamental flaw in the very concept of Israel. It is not a modern state, defined as a territory and comprising all the various citizens of whatever descent who live within it. It is rather a vicious racist construct, defined absolutely by race, refusing territorial limits, and with an aggressive theocratic overlay that claims tribal superiority over the entire rest of the world.

blackcaps

Here is a picture of the New Zealand cricket team. In the last twelve months, New Zealand cricket teams have fielded payers including Hamish Rutherford, Peter Fulton, Colin Munro, Dean Brownlie, Ross Taylor, Rob Nicol, Corey Anderson, Grant Elliott, Jimmy Neesham, Kyle Mills, Adam Milne and Mark Craig, not to mention the McCullum brothers. But if I told you that Alex Salmond was the leader of all Scots around the world, including the Black Caps, you would quite rightly call me a nutter.

We would not tolerate the level of racism in any other country that we tolerate from Israel. There was a huge outcry against Labour MP Paul Flynn who dared question whether it was sensible to send a strongly professed Zionist Jew as British ambassador to Israel, but when the Israeli government itself proclaim the political leadership of all Jews all over the world, it is a logical impossibility not to ask the question.

I wish nothing but good to all people, including all Jewish people, but by their increasingly hardline racialist approach, their unceasing encroachment on Palestinian land and their rigorous adoption of all the racist mechanisms of an apartheid state internally, I feat that the window of opportunity for a peaceful future for those Jewish people living in what is currently Israel is closing fast.

It must be universally proclaimed: there is not a single racial group in the whole world from whom worldwide racial claims of political allegiance, or an internal racially based legislative order, are acceptable. Bennett’s remarks are beyond the limit of civilised political discourse.

Orbital Sciences Corp.’s Antares rocket recently suffered a catastrophic anomaly during launch from Pad 0A of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.

The engine is of Russian design, refurbished and ‘Americanised’ to modify thrust.

The crafts pay-load was covered by insurance.

Be that as it may the current geopolitical situation between Russia and America frustrates the communication needed to accomplish successful ‘trips’ with heavy loads to the ISS project.

China has returned craft ‘little flier’ from a trip round the moon and is on target for a manned mission to the moon and plans a permanent space station by 2020 using appropriate collaboration with Russian scientists.

The diplomatic rift between Washington and Jerusalem reached a new low this week. Israeli Defense Minister Moshe “Bogie” Yaalon’s snub by senior members of the Obama administration was made public here, a week after his U.S. visit, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced plans to build more than 1,000 new units in Jerusalem neighborhoods beyond the Green Line, fully aware of the negative response it would receive in America and in the international community.

And it did, with the State Department calling the plans “incompatible with the pursuit of peace.” A European Union spokeswoman went further, asserting that the move “once again” calls into question Israel’s commitment “to a negotiated solution with the Palestinians.” She also warned that “the future development of relations between the EU and Israel will depend” on Jerusalem’s “engagement towards a lasting peace based on a two-state solution.”

Netanyahu responded by saying that Israel will “continue to build in our eternal capital,” adding: “I heard the claim that our building in Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem makes peace more distant, but it is the criticism itself that makes peace more distant.” He said the criticism feeds the Palestinians’ false hopes and is “detached from reality.”

Hell hath no fury like a Zionist scorned.

“Activists associated with the movement at least temporarily prevented Zim ships from unloading in August, when a ship was blocked from unloading and headed toward Los Angeles before turning back and successfully unloading, and again in September. But what appears to be their greatest victory came this week, when Zim decided reroute its cargo Russia rather than attempt to dock in Oakland once more. Their decision came just nine days after the company vowed to dock, in defiance of protests.

The protests appear to be aided by sympathetic longshoremen. Some of Oakland’s unionized dockworkers have expressed sympathy for the demonstrators’ position in the local press, and have at times declined to unload Zim ships during protests, citing safety concerns.

The company claims that their last-minute decision to reroute was unrelated to the protests. But its foes aren’t buying it. “When a country’s shipping concern can’t come to the port because of the popular resistance it will face there, you can feel that the tables are turning,” said Jamie Omar Yasin, a Block the Boat activist.

Mods. When one clicks on ‘Home’ in the above category headers, the ‘decade of decent’ thread comes up as the home address, only when you click on the thread header itself can you see the past and next threads advertised.

Nothing exists beyond that thread, even if you happen to scroll all the way down to the list on the black background.
Unless you click on decade of decent, or earlier posts here, the newly posted articles stay hidden. Something s amiss?

Labour wants to abolish the House of Lords and replace it with a US-style elected Senate if it wins the general election.

Ed Miliband is expected to set out the plans later today at his party’s North West regional conference in Blackpool.

In the wake of calls for decentralisation of power from Westminster in the wake of the Scottish independence referendum, the Labour leader will propose that the senators represent Britain’s regions and nations rather than Parliamentary constituencies.
    __________________________________

What a pathetic and completely unbelievable attempt by Miliband to curry favour with voters, Labour’s stock, especially north of the border is at an all time low.

Miliband’s party are in desperate times, which require desperate measures, the abolition of the House of Lords will appeal to those completely disillusioned by Westminster, mainly northern counties, but we both know its just designed to win votes, unfortunately the House of Lords will remain unscathed.

Nevermind at 1.02 pm – thanks for your link, which worked.

@FrIGhTnIgHt at 9.10 pm on 31 October: A good point. Did you hear yesterday evening’s slightly above average [the average is pretty dire] BBC 4 “Any Questions?”? However, like Peacewisher at 9.41 am, the Moslem focus struck me as excessive. I’m tempted to ask – “If [some] extremist Moslems are serious opponents of homosexuality, are they to be congratulated or despised for their tolerance of Christian paedophilia? As far as I know, no Catholic or Church of England priestly buggers have been targeted by jihadists or suicide bombers. Do devout Christians and Moslems have a different conception of sin from the benighted minority of irreligious humans who don’t get to have a Thought for the Day on BBC 4?”

It’s a dilemma we all face – do you give money to a homeless person or not?
For Ed Miliband, the awkwardness of that predicament was all too clear to see as he passed a beggar in Manchester yesterday.
On his way to deliver a speech, the Labour leader first passed the woman in a green headscarf.

Realising photographers were present, he doubled back. But in a toe-curling encounter, he failed even to make eye contact as he leant towards her… and appeared to drop just 2p into a cup.

Says it all really what Miliband and his ilk, think of less fortunate folk than themselves. If it were I, I would have told him where to shove his 2 pence.

Britain has suspended most of a £27 million aid programme to support Ethiopia’s police force, The Telegraph has learnt, amid mounting allegations of torture, rape and murder by the regime.

Ministers pulled the plug on a scheme intended to improve criminal investigations, help Ethiopian police “interact with communities on local safety” and help women access the justice system.

The cancellation coincides with an Amnesty International report that documents how the Ethiopian security forces have conducted a campaign of torture, mutilation, rape and murder in order to suppress political opposition.

Anyone who criticises Sharia law or gay marriage could be branded an “extremist” under sweeping new powers planned by the Conservatives to combat terrorism, an alliance of leading atheists and Christians fear.

Theresa May, the Home Secretary, unveiled plans last month for so-called Extremism Disruption Orders, which would allow judges to ban people deemed extremists from broadcasting, protesting in certain places or even posting messages on Facebook or Twitter without permission.
    __________________________________________

This so called EDO will impinge the freedom to protest, and the freedom of free speech, the potential problem with this order is it may not have a clear distinction, between hate speech and free speech.

Nor the difference between peaceful protests and riots, although I agree that there’s no place in society for Sharia Law, the curbing of such laws shouldn’t overlap or impede other protests or religious orations.

It would appear stealth laws are the new norm, if implemented, its just a short hop to a Patriot Act style action.

The following connection seems random, but bear with me: National Insurance no longer exists. This may have passed you by (because Draper Osborne has yet to inform Parliament of it verbally) but NI is now called Earnings Tax. Clearly, we don’t need an earnings tax, because we already have Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax. But this was Osborne’s way of increasing taxes while pretending he’d abolished one.

Here’s another equally (at first sight) random fact: abolish National Insurance, and you bring to an end any legal responsibility the UK has to provide its citizens with free healthcare and State pensions.

And now – as the bits of the jigsaw puzzle seem to need increasing pressure to force-fit them into place – we have some ONS data on the nature of private pensions. Nobody is Tweeting for Britain from the Cabinet Office about it, because they’d like as few citizens as possible to notice….but these are the facts.

WARSAW — Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary said on Friday that his government would abandon, at least for now, a proposed tax on Internet usage that drew tens of thousands of demonstrators to the streets this week.
    _________________________________

It was just a matter of time before someone came up with the idea, to tax internet use. Protesters and opponents of Orban said it was an attempt to stifle the public’s voice.

Orban has backed down, but says the plans will still be on the table for next year.

Recently-released documents have revealed that a Government official suggested putting psychopaths in charge of the country in the aftermath of a nuclear attack.
The National Archives has unveiled Exercise Regenerate, a 1982 Home Office plan to keep maintain order in Britain following the nightmarish scenario.

Jane Hogg, a scientific officer in the Home Office who worked on the operation, advocated that a psychopath’s logic, intelligence, ability to cope in a crisis and lack of morals would make them ideal leaders in the chaos that would ensue after the bomb.
‘It is… generally accepted that around one per cent of the population are psychopaths.

As if things aren’t bad enough just now, with the psychopaths, in charge, now they want to put them in charge, after a nuclear attack, only in the UK, could this mentality exist.

The UK is taking steps to repay the £2bn debt it originally borrowed to finance the First World War.

The debt had not previously been paid off because the Government has to pay relatively little interest on it, having paid a total of £1.26bn since 1917.

This amounts to roughly £13m a year, a relatively small item on the Government’s balance sheet in today’s terms.
    ______________________________________

So we haven’t paid the debt off from WWI, yet we’re spending £3 million pounds a day on a war in Iraq. It was only in 2006 that the UK finished paying the USA $7.55 billion Dollars and Canada,$1 billion Dollars, for their aid in WWII.

Israel’s security will be threatened if America withdraws its support. Therefore it is important that Israel make every effort to treat Arab citizena fairly and ceasing the theft of land – annexation and confirment of full citizenship on the inhabitants of occupied territories would be another matter.
But I would also bless the efforts of groups within Israel who try to promote reconciliation on a small scale. They remain obscure, and yet may exert the most valuable influence.

    ‘Scotland would now say “Yes!”:’

    No they wouldn’t.

The Murdoch rag had polls saying the same thing before the referendum.

    It was proved wrong.

Not only did the Nationalists fail they failed by a wide margin. Only two areas of Scotland voted for independence, Glasgow and Dundee. Nothing has changed since.

Happy November 1st. They’ve gone it seems. I can speculate on why but won’t. I do not think it is of their own volition, but could be wrong. Sorry, that’s speculation. 🙂
